The readings for this week for the Sixth Sunday after Pentecost are Amos 8:1-12 and Psalm 52, or Genesis 18:1-10a and Psalm 15, with Colossians 1:15-28, and Luke 10:38-42. This week we look at the history of Climate Change. We have ignored the warnings that have been put out for generations and still don't want to change. Are we too busy to look into the data or change our ways? If we are wanting to be more like Mary, we might need to slow down and think about some of this data and how we are going to change to take care of the palace we have been called to take care of. Thanks again for taking the time out to listen to this and I hope this is a tool that you find useful. Remember to answer this week's question:
How are you going to make tangible steps to reduce your carbon footprint? #FaithandSciPod

CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist
It’s 1996 in rural North Carolina, and an oddball crew makes history when they pull off America’s third largest cash heist. But it’s all downhill from there. Join host Johnny Knoxville as he unspools a wild and woolly tale about a group of regular ‘ol folks who risked it all for a chance at a better life. CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist answers the question: what would you do with 17.3 million dollars? The answer includes diamond rings, mansions, velvet Elvis paintings, plus a run for the border, murder-for-hire-plots, and FBI busts.
