Pastor Ed explores how Christian parents should navigate election tensions while maintaining their primary identity as followers of Christ and leaders of their families. Using Psalm 2 as a foundation, he reminds us that God laughs at the nations' rage while remaining firmly in control.

• God's hierarchy places family above government – not the other way around
• Psalm 2 reveals God's perspective on political turmoil: "He who sits in heaven laughs"
• Political differences should never override family relationships
• Practical steps for reconciling with family members divided by politics
• The great commandment has an order: love God first, then neighbor as yourself
• Our children are watching how we respond to election results
• Pre-forgive those who may have wounded you with political attacks
• Don't "spike the football" if your candidate wins – extend compassion instead
• The church must not stay silent on important social issues
• Our true identity is in Christ, not in our political affiliations

marian, good to see you.
Welcome on Instagram.

Everywhere except for TikTok.

I would love to hear that andrespond to you tonight in the

(02:40):
best ways that I can.
Prayer request.
Justin Corwin, welcome here.
Let me know where you'recalling in from.
Where are you coming from,irene?
And we're going to get kind of.
The title of what we're goingto pray about and talk about is

(03:01):
the family and how.
God's world and the choice isalways family over government,
but it's first priority ineverything.
His first thing that he did wasput Adam and Eve together to
build culture, build family, people to what we have today,

(03:27):
and how many would say that thisis the craziest election and
back and forth that they've everseen in their lifetime?
Give me a shout out, maybe amessage or text.
I probably don't even need toget your hands in this, but it
is.
I think it's really important.

(03:48):
So, oh, we got somebody fromBaytown, texas.
Welcome Irene.
I love Texas.
I remember some fond memoriesof going in forgive me when I
say this to defeat the Cowboysin the old stadium there Back in
my day playing in the NationalFootball League.

(04:09):
I have fond memories of beatingthem, but you know, if you're
from Texas, they cheat.
I mean, they have a way theycheat in Dallas that's just very
sinister and that is they putthese beautiful Texas girls
right behind the benches of theopposing team with their

(04:32):
pom-poms and their tight outfits.
And I remember both times thatwe went into Dallas that the
coach, all this time on thissideline during a football game,
as we were competing againstthe Dallas Cowboys, trying to
get the players to turn aroundand watch the game, it's amazing

(04:55):
how many guys went back to thewater bottle Because they were
like, oh, hey, yay, of course.
The cheerleaders were like, hey, big boy.
They were like, oh, hey, yay,of course.
The Chilies were like, hey, bigboy, and that was their secret
weapon there that they used.
And Tom Landry, he was the onewhere it came in there.
But I love Texas, I love ourcountry, I love what God has

(05:24):
given us to be a part of, and sotonight I want to take the
prayer request, but at the sametime I think we should just pray
.
This election is underway andthere are people making their
decision, whatever the finaldecision is of the night, and I
have a scripture that I want toread you, that I've been chewing

(05:46):
on all week and it's reallywhat's more true than any news
service about what does Godreally think about all these
things?
And if you got your Bibletonight, turn to chapter 2.

(06:11):
That's Psalm chapter 2.
Turn in your Scripture to Psalmchapter 2.
Hey, pj, welcome tonight.
And you know you think abouthow God sees these things.
Elections are incrediblyimportant and if you're of, you
know, calling from texas, Iguess the polls are closed there

(06:34):
and they're closing all aroundthe country.
But you know, when we havethese uncertain times.
It's really important—one starwelcome, 22, one star—it's
really important of how we, asfathers and mothers, position

(06:55):
ourselves in understanding whatGod is saying with all these
things that are going on,because what needs to happen
after this election is over iswe have an incredible amount of
repair that we've got to do,sometimes with neighbors, with
family members.

(07:16):
I've been coaching Welcome, justin Rhonda Montana, welcome.
I've been coaching a lot offamilies and a lot of guys, a
lot of gals, and it's one of ournation's finest there a retired
military that teaches peoplehow to defend themselves.
It's a powerful thing.

(07:36):
You want gun training.
You live in Montana.
You need to get to JustinCarlton and maybe my system will
pop in a way to get a hold ofhim.
He's really amazing.
He took me shooting when I wasthere, taught me how to shoot
the knives out of a gnat at1,000 yards with a handgun.
Of course, we never saw him at1,000 yards.

(07:59):
So, anyway, let's look at allthe things that—the way God sees
this election.
Psalm chapter 2.
I'm going to read this with you, so grab your Bible and just
read this together.
It says and this is Davidhearing from the Lord in the
midst of all the craziness andall the people.

(08:21):
Welcome, paul.
And is that April Moraldi there?
Welcome.
Or Abby, great to have youtonight on the Father Difference
, live.
But Psalm chapter 2, verse 1,says why do the nations rage and
people plot in vain, the kingsof the earth set themselves In

(08:42):
vain.
The kings of the earth setthemselves and the rulers take
counsel together, sound familiar.
Against the Lord, against hisanointed saying Boy, there is a
time, more than ever—welcomePaul— that the church of Jesus

(09:07):
is under assault, it's underattack.
There's a barrage of wickednessthat's on display,
unfortunately, from a group, apolitical group that used to be
Democrats.
I mean, the Democratic Partyhas always been for the poor.
I have a lot of greatDemocratic friends that I love

(09:31):
to death, but they've been in ahuge quandary because the party
sending a petition to the Lordduring just a crazy time when
all the nations have risen upagainst him as an anointed king

(09:57):
His sons are.
You know Absalom has createdrebellion.
You know his own kingdom isbeing shaken.
Welcome Dylan, marian, welcometonight.
And he writes this psalm to theLord.
And where God then begins tospeak.

(10:17):
And if you read the book ofPsalms, you'll see the problem
that David or the sons of Korahwrite about.
And then God speaks and bringsa solution and the kings of the
earth set themselves and therulers take counsel together
against the Lord, against hisanointing, saying Let us burst
their bonds apart and cast awaytheir cords from among us.

(10:40):
I just think it's justfascinating to me.
I just think it's justfascinating to me.
But how true and biblical it is,especially in political
elections, how quicklypoliticians try to demonize and
destroy the other person.

(11:00):
And this group that's againstIsrael wants to dismantle the
Word of God, wants to dismantlethe people of Israel and say we
want to burst their bonds ofpower, cast away their cords,
those things that are keeping usback from being wicked.
All these other nations, wewant them gone.

(11:24):
They're raging, they're ragingagainst us and it's interesting
and I found this to be true inministry you never really hear
from demons until you pass themout and on their way out they're
screaming.
They're screaming, they'rescreaming, they're making all

(11:47):
kinds of noise to try to scareyou.
When Jesus did what we havedone and prayed for people on
their way out, they're makingserious noise because they're
losing a bondage in a person, they're losing control in a life
.
They're being exposed by thelight of Jesus.
And when Jesus comes, in anysituation, he opens the door to

(12:12):
his kingdom.
And so it goes on.
And here's his people trying.
And then verse 4, and then hedescribes what God is saying.
And this is what God is sayingto the wicked who, in a real way
, are trying to move thegovernment into the number one
position in the hierarchy ofpower over the fathers, over the

(12:36):
mothers, over your children, over your grandchildren, and
they want to be the ones to makethe decision over your family.
That's the wickedness of ourday.
That's why voting in thiselection was absolutely
essential for the people of God.
My prayer is that we would bethe church and we would vote.

(12:56):
We vote because it's the rightthing to do and it's part of the
structure of our government tohave a say, and we'll see what
the results are and we'll reallysee where the hunger of our
country is.
At the end of the night, eitherwe want more righteousness, or
we want God in our life, or wedon't care.

(13:20):
We want to put in the personthat we want.
We'll see what happens.
But he who sits in heaven?
Look at verse 4.
He who sits in heaven laughs.
He's talking about the Father, son and Holy Spirit.
He who sits in heaven laughs.

(13:42):
The Lord holds them in derision.
Then he will speak to them inhis wrath and terrify them in
his fury, saying as for me, Ihave set my king on Zion, my
holy hill.
God's response to this offersand God's response to those who

(14:04):
want to cast away anyrestriction on morality where
everything goes.
God says she who sits in heavenlaughs at you, but ask for me.
David writes.
God says ask for me.

(14:32):
I've set my king on Zion, myholy hill.
God's already worked out thecure for us and I will tell the
decree.
The Lord said to me you are myson.
Here's a reference to Messiah, right here in the book of Psalms
Jesus, the Messiah, and alsothrough the ultimate identity
that God's called you and me for.

(14:52):
He says I will decree.
And the Lord said to me you aremy son.
Today I have begotten you.
He's talking about the kingthat he is setting on Mount Zion
, on God's holy hill.
Today I have begotten you.
Ask of me and I will make thenations your heritage and the

(15:16):
ends of the earth yourpossession.
You know it's interesting thatthe Bible says eye has not seen,
nor ear, has even heard, whatGod will do for those who go to
Him in prayer and ask Him.
Are you exhausting all theresources of heaven because you

(15:36):
pray big for God to come throughin big ways over you, your
children, your grandchildren, your family you want to welcome
Welcome to.
Robert Hardy Welcome, andRubens Steel Run Welcome tonight
.
Are you exhausting that in yourown prayer life?
Because here's what I'velearned about prayer.

(16:00):
You know when Jesus said whenhe's talking about prayer, he
says how many of you, as afather, if your son comes to you
and asks you for a piece ofbread, are you going to give him
a rock?
Well, no, you wouldn't do thatas a dad, especially a grandpa.
How many of you if he asked youfor a piece of?
You know fish, some food, right, you know.

(16:21):
And if you know how to do, hesaid how many of you?
Your grandson asked you for apiece of and you give him a
snake?
Of course we wouldn't do that.
We wouldn't do that at all.
The reason we wouldn't do thatis because we love him and you

(16:43):
know they're in our family, they're in our lives because of
the extraordinary gift of Godgiving us children and our life,
of course, how to give goodgifts to your children on earth.
How much more will my HeavenlyFather give than he tells us?
Holy Spirit, for those who askthe answer to our lives, the

(17:09):
answer to this craziness in theworld, to selection, to result
and even winning your friends,we're going to talk about and
repairing those relationships.
It's all about who's thing youhave and it's also all about us

(17:32):
and others learning how to askGod for more for the sake of our
children.
We're getting a lot of partyballoons tonight Must have done
this or something that makes theparty go on the computer.

(17:54):
But how much you're reallyasking God for the things you
need as a dad and as a mom, forthe sake of your kids?
The enemy might be up to whathe's doing, but the one who sits
in heaven laughs.
They might want to break thecords away from mom and dad and

(18:15):
have you cut the string.
Of course it's not the pursestrings.
They still want you to takecare of them financially.
Maybe they're wandering overtheir loss and we're going to
pray for them as well.
Tonight God's up to something Idon't think.
The best day of our church herein America is coming.

(18:36):
I believe our best days arecoming and our ability to be
salt and light in a time wherepeople are being consumed and
overwhelmed by darkness.
How many of your friends do youknow have slipped farther into
alcoholism, have slipped fartherinto drugs, have lost their

(19:00):
kids, never lost their families?
How many men do you know whohave run away from their
responsibility and theirchildren, only to suffer in the
shadows, in guilt and shame, being pushed back?
Well, the God in heaven wholaughs at what the enemy's plan
is is to take you, my friend, mom or dad, from your kids or

(19:23):
grandma or grandfather, his agenumber, because he has set his
king on the throne and it saysas for me, I will make nations
your heritage.
That's what Jesus is after.
He's after taking us this saltaway and putting it everywhere
that he can.
You will break them with a rodof iron and dash them in pieces

(19:47):
like a potter's wheel.
The weapons of warfare, godsaid, are not carnal, but
they're mighty.
We're pulling down strongholdsand what happens is when we walk
in the light, as he is in thelight, something transforms
inside of us.
Everywhere you go, no matterwhere you go, god is showing up

(20:10):
around you and he is botheringpeople around you who live in
darkness without you evenopening your mouth.
We should never apologize forbothering the world if it makes
you feel uncomfortable in yourlife, but we should be bothered
when we're afraid or we've beenpushed back by the crazy woke

(20:34):
virus that's out in the worldtoday.
That was dreamed up by a bunchof orphans who don't know who
they are and they're trying toaffect everything to make
everything a safe place.
Well, when you live in sin, you'll never be safe.
The safest place that we canhave is being right, smack dab

(20:56):
in the middle of God's presenceand his love.
Serve him with fear, verse 11.
This is our part.
Rejoice with trembling.
Serve him with fear.
It's not being afraid of God,it's with the word fear there
actually means.
With such awesome respect andgratitude for what he has done

(21:16):
in your life, you are willing todo whatever it takes to stand
up for God in front of peopleand love them.
Judy Kortok, welcome.
Hi.
We love you back down south, south of the border, and love
her and the incredible life andfaith she's lived for Christ for

(21:38):
so many.
My dog's giving you a witnessoutside, judy.
Love Judy so much.
Share the Lord with fear andrejoice with trembling.
It's a son, lest he be angryand you perish in the way, for
his wrath is quickly kindled.
Blessed are all those who takerefuge in him.

(22:04):
Blessed are all those who takerefuge in him.
That's what God's called us todo, and so we don't need to be
afraid about the outcome.
We do our part, we vote, andeven though there's shenanigans

(22:27):
going on and thousands oflawyers and fighting back and
forth, people want to win, andyet God wants to install a
person to be president of ourUnited States and maybe your
countries, in the midst ofelections too, because I think
he wants to change something.
Whether or not Donald Trumpbecomes president or Kamala

(22:49):
Harris becomes president, god'sagenda of making fathers great
again in the lives of theirchildren and moms, empowering
moms and families, restoringrelationships it's atop of his
agenda.
I think that God is speaking tous and all those who follow

(23:10):
Christ that we can't putsomebody in the White House that
does something that God hates, and God hates the murdering of
innocent children.
It's got to stop.
How is it that we are theleading country in all the world
and we have murdered so manychildren?

(23:33):
We have gotten so much blessing, so much wealth, so many things
, that as a country we'redivided over an issue.
And even in the Church of Jesus, there are some people that I

(23:53):
know that are followers of Jesus, they say, but they believe
that that baby is not a humanbeing until it's born and even
after it's born it's a mother'schoice.
How wicked is that?
I mean, it's totally wicked.
And can we stand before God oneday?

(24:15):
And we're going to have to givean account for every decision
that we made and even maybe theway we cast our vote, because
we've got to cast them out ofour value system for what God
wants to do.
We don't vote because of apersonality of a person, and my

(24:35):
trust is in the Lord moving thatperson to become your president
More than I'm confident thatthat person has the capacity to
do it.
Without God, we still don't Allof our lives being a father or
being a mother, being a godlyman or a single man or a single

(24:56):
dad, to have the capacity thatyou need to really father your
children.
In these days, at this time, there's never been more
important time for you and forme that we need to get close to
Jesus and follow him and walkkind of right in his steps, in

(25:19):
everything he's leading us to do.
That's your safest place.
You might be just overwhelmed.
I want to just talk about oneother thing quickly.
I don't want to take you toolong, and I'm sure you're going
to be over.
You're going to be watching theresults.
Maybe you'll wake up in themorning and wait for them there.

(25:39):
Maybe you're the kind of personthat doesn't do an ultrasound
to see what sexual behavior isand wait to the last minute.
However, you want to do it.
However you want to do it.
But I want to talk to you abouthow to take a couple of steps to
restore relationship withfriends or family members who

(26:03):
maybe have ostracized youbecause you voted for, say,
trump.
Things a little bit moreprevalent, unfortunately, from
the liberal side of the ticketof the way they treat people who
have voted for Trump, and yourfamily's been split up.

(26:25):
I've had to coach a number offamilies to get them back
together, and so here's a coupleof questions I want you to just
take in.
The first thing you've got todo is just get fueled up being
with Jesus so that, no matterwhat they say, you can love them
.
You've got to love them.

(26:47):
You don't have to agree withthem, but you've got to love
them and you've got to sort ofpre-forgive them too, because
some of you might feel thatyou're not going to do anything
until they ask for forgivenessfor the way you've treated them.
I've had moms throw their sonsand their daughters out of their

(27:07):
families because they end upgoing to a liberal school and
decided to become a conservative, which should be a bad demand.
That your children decide tobelieve something, to stand up
for something, and so whathappens is that the root of all

(27:29):
of these things relationshipshappens is that the root of all
of these things relationships,is an assault against we have a
culture now that used to be thatwe could agree to disagree.
How many of you have heard thatbefore?
We'll just agree to disagree.
You could have a heated debate, but you're still family members
, you still love one another, but it seems like politics has

(27:51):
now moved up to the level of apersonal identity.
Well, you name yourself by yourpolitical party or what you
believe.
Anytime you do that and you puton yourself a name that's not
really authorized by God inheaven, because it limits you,

(28:16):
it limits you and your scope ofyour friends and it elevates
your opinion about politics andthings above, sometimes loving
that person that's right infront of you, being able to pray
for them, be present and toshare really the ultimate person
for them to be following, whichis Christ.

(28:36):
And so I want you to ask aquestion in your own heart,
whether you're conservative orliberal, or maybe you're
watching me and you've beendrinking the progressive cool
and you've been protesting andyour family is split apart.
That's not God's way.

(28:58):
That's not what God wants.
And so when bitterness startsrousing his head inside of you
and you have this kind ofseething anger towards somebody
and you hate him and you'venever met him to somebody, and
you hate them and you've nevermet them, I mean, how is it that

(29:20):
we can make judgments againstpeople that we hate when we see
them, instead of understandinghow broken they are and people
know my heart and who I votedfor.
And when the other candidategets online and she begins to
talk for a while there, I wasjust like I can't even stand the
sound of her voice, and thenGod began to reveal to me.

(29:45):
Just imagine how this girl isgoing to end her story standing
before the Lord.
God, when the enemies finishusing her.
She's been propped up by allthese people.
Hollywood has done its best jobto make her out to be the hero

(30:07):
of the day, but she's never hada role, and when the devil's
finished with her, she'll be amess.
And if she loses the election, our job as followers of Jesus is
not to beat her down or to beatdown people that don't agree

(30:30):
with us.
Our job is to connect withpeople who think that there's
something wrong with us.
Well, there is.
If you have Christ, you're nolonger a stranger to the kingdom
of God.
You're no longer a sojourner,but you're one of God's beloved
sons and beloved daughters.

(30:52):
But I want you just to think fora moment about how much of the
anger and hate that you havetowards maybe yours is against
Donald Trump himself that youcan't even bring yourself to
voting for somebody like that.
You don't like him.
Well, when we do that, we givethe vote away to somebody else

(31:12):
and they get to choose for us.
We let our neighbors choose whowins, and right now, we can
still vote California.
The polls are still open.
If you're out West, I want youto just answer the question how
much is this election affectingyou as a mom or a dad, because
your kids are watching.

(31:40):
And so our steps are clear inScripture is that we hold to
what is good and righteous.
We make our choices, but whenwe're dealing with our neighbors
we've got to love them.
And there's only one way tolove a neighbor or a family
member back into a place.
We need the supernatural helpof God over our hearts, because

(32:01):
there's parts of us who reallylove winning and hate losing.
And if your party wins thiselection or your candidate wins,
don't spike the football infront of your neighbors, for

(32:24):
some of them maybe even yourself, might be severely depressed
and need somebody to pray forthem.
And so we got to cross the aisle.
Maybe you're a Democrat, yougot to cross the aisle.
Maybe you're a democrat, yougot to cross the aisle.
That's a call of Jesus to bethe light of the world, to love
people and then not to separate.
And back in Jesus' day therewas only one political party the

(32:45):
Roman government at the timewas wicked the religious party
of the Pharisees and theSadducees.
They had their own thing.
It was in turmoil.
In the middle of all that wereall these people who were either
slaves to one group or theother, and that was free from

(33:06):
political tyranny, so that hispeople, from that moment on,
would never be in bondage again.
He did it.
He came and God set the peopleof Israel free from Egypt.
He wants to set you and I freeso that we can have our best

(33:27):
days.
And yes, judy, with love, Ihave lunch with you.
Thanks for the invite.
Stand up now, 2022.
Love you.
You want to get hats, you wantto get clothing.
I want you, by the way, brother, I want you to make me a whole

(33:48):
bunch more of make fathers greatagain hat.
I have been having them made, but I'm going to have you do it
for me.
Let's talk about a deal andjust get those hats out for dads
.
We want to make fathers greatagain.
All that to say.
You have a tremendousopportunity tomorrow.
Whenever the election's calledthe next day and the next day

(34:10):
and the next day is to celebratethat you have a king.
If he wants you to go to yourneighbor or your family member
and share the good news aboutwhat Jesus Christ can do,
there's no politician under him.
I think the biggest mistakesthat we can make is putting all

(34:32):
of our hope and our trust in apolitical party that actually is
underneath an authority.
In the structure of the way Godset up the world, he's made
fathers and mothers first inauthority.
In authority, the church ofJesus has been raised up to

(34:56):
churches to serve the family andteach them how to walk with God
.
And the government's ultimatejob is to protect the church and
the people of faith to myJewish brothers and sisters of
different faith, to protect themso they're free, and also to
protect the family.
And when tyranny raises up.
Jefferson talked about it'stime for the people of the

(35:20):
Republic to have anotherrevolution, but ours isn't
supposed to be with guns.
Ours right now is with love andwith God's power.
But to do that we've got to dotwo things.
Number one we got to the greatcommandment.
I love the Lord, our God, withall our heart, with all our mind

(35:43):
with all our strength.
And then Jesus said and thesecond like it, but it's at
number two position.
We then love our neighbors asourselves.
You need to understand one ofthe strategies that the devil
has against you if you're afollower of Jesus, and even the
church of Jesus that's afraid todeal with all the social issues

(36:07):
stays out of them, which isexactly what the devil wants us
to do is to stay out of thosethings.
And you know why?
Because they made the secondpart of the commandment the most
important part to love yourneighbor as yourself.
Love is enough.
The problem with that is thatlove is usually selfish, human

(36:28):
love For what we can get out ofit, and we think that we're
magnanimous because of the waywe love people.
But if we don't love God withall our heart, mind, soul and
strength first, we won't havehis wisdom, his truth, his word
and obedience to him as afoundation for love for our

(36:51):
neighbors as ourselves.
And so when you love yourneighbors yourself, it's
possible that some of ourneighbors are kind of crazy,
some of your family members arekind of crazy, and guess what?
You're kind of crazy sometimes.
We need to come back.

(37:11):
So I want to pray with you.
If you have a special prayerrequest, you can shoot that to
me in the chat and then I'll letyou get back to praying and
checking out the election.
But let's just give this to theLord.
If you have something to prayabout, you can just shoot it in

(37:32):
the chat to me.
But I'll just start and tiethis together.
Father, I just I'm so grateful,I'm so grateful to you that you
came and you sent your son todie in our place so that we
could receive you.

(37:52):
And so we stand here, lord, wecome together on election night
and we ask you, lord, to forgiveus for for looking too much at
the election and not enough atyou, and so we at you.

(38:12):
And so we give you our fear, wegive you our stress, we give
you those things that haveweighed us down, and we confess
that to you, your sons anddaughters.
We love you.
Forgive us for those things,lord.
Forgive us for the way we treatpeople in the midst of this,

(38:33):
but also forgive us, lord, fornot standing up for
righteousness when we have ourmoments and our chances.
Forgive us for sitting in theback seat and letting other
people lead out when you'recalling us to rise up and be the
moms and dads, husbands andfathers that we need to be.

(38:57):
Father, we give you thiselection, we give you the
outcome.
We pray that your light wouldcome and that you would motivate
your church and we would get apicture by the end of tonight
and tomorrow or whenever they'refinished counting at what the
current state of their countryis and where we can best use our
time, energy and resources tomake a difference.

(39:19):
We trust you, jesus.
You are our king and you laughwhen nations rage and plot in
vain against your beloved one.
That's Psalm 2, father, andwe're here for you, father, I

(39:39):
pray for supernatural peace anddirection and hope and blessing
on all my friends that arewatching.
I thank you so much for theirlives.
I thank you for their moms anddads that we've been walking
together for these months andyou would bless them and speak
to them and use them in powerful, powerful ways.

(40:02):
Oh, you're a good, good father.
That's who you are, and so weworship you, we trust you and we
give you this.
It's too big for us to carry.
In the name of Jesus, we pray, father, and all God's people
said amen.
Hey, thanks for being with you.

(40:24):
I'm thankful to be with you,but thank you for being with me
and this really important time.
We'll be talking about this, I'msure, for years to come, the
political diatribes are going tobe all over the place.
Amen.
Amen to you, judy as well, andFather.

(40:47):
Thank you for all my friendswho've come.
Thank you for your support.
Some of you are supporting usfinancially.
We keep some wheels on the busand, father, thank you for all

, and so thank you for yourprayers and your faithfulness
and being with us in your time.

because the one who sits on thethrone in heaven laughed at all
the plotting of men on the earth, because he is in total control
, and all God's people said Amen.
