What is Infidelity? Family Therapist Emma Loach of Thrive Couple & Family Counseling Services provides the definition of Infidelity. She said she categories into two categories of as emotional and physical infidelity. She tells us statistically men are more likely cheats it’s physical and woman more likely cheat emotionally base. She gives us an insight into the generational difference why more women seem to cheat more in today’s society. She explains how a couple end up with one or both partners cheating. She gives us statistically why infidelity enters a relationship. Emma explains how important communication is in a relationship. How if your partner feels like something is lacking in the relationship and you don’t communicate that, that could lead to a partner seeking what they are missing from outside sources. Sometimes it is communicated but the other person ignored what you are feeling. She said there are theory’s that say men are lest monogamous then women. However, in her experience she has not found that to be the case normally. She gives a great reason as to why men cheat and it’s not that they what a divorce. She explains how infidelity is recoverable and the three important stages you need to take to make that happen.
