Mark Harbert (00:00):
All right.
So today we are going to talkabout seven smart ways to use
ChatGPT to repurpose your videos.
Now, when you create a video, you're putting some time, effort
and your own brain power intothat video.
The best thing that you can doonce you've created a video is,
(00:23):
number one, of course, put itout there, but also you can
repurpose that video, andrepurposing content namely video
content is an extremelyefficient way especially today
with AI, to create your videointo different formats.
And I'm going to give you sevenways that you can do that today
using chat GPT.
(00:43):
Going to give you seven waysthat you can do that today using
Chad GPT.
Now, I will tell you thatrepurposing content in years
past has been somewhat difficultuntil AI came along.
So, when you had, like Chad GPTcome along and all the other
tools, it has made it insanelyeasy for you to be able to
repurpose that content and putit out there in different
formats.
(01:04):
All right, so let's go ahead.
Let's dive right in to how torepurpose your videos.
Seven ways, and the first wayis to turn your video into a
blog post.
Now, if you do not have a blog, you can still utilize this,
okay, so one of the things thatI like to do is, when I create a
(01:25):
video, I run my video through aplatform or a software that I
use called Descript, and when Iput it into Descript, it's a
video editing software, it.
What it does is transcribe theentire video for me, and then I
can take that entiretranscription and upload it to
ChatGPT and ask ChatGPT tocreate a blog post for me based
(01:51):
upon my transcript.
Now, the reason I like doingthis is because one of the
things that you want to do is,as you use ChatGPT the longer
you use it, the more it gets tounderstand your brand voice and
how you speak.
Now, one of the things that Iuse when I take the transcript
is I ask ChatGPT to create anSEO optimized article for me
(02:15):
using subheadings and keywords, and I can lately the way it's
working.
I'm even telling ChatGPT toresearch the trend on what my
topic is about.
So, and give me the keywordthat I want to try to rank for
with that particular video, andI'm turning it into a blog post,
(02:36):
and one of the things I tell itis to not stray away from the
transcript, but just make thetranscript read more like an
article, and that's what I'mreally looking to do so.
Obviously, when you create atranscript, it's a speaking
transcript.
I mean, I'm speaking in thevideo, so it has more of a
(02:57):
speaking kind of tone to it.
But using chat GPT you can makeit read more like an article
and not a transcript.
So that is one way that I do it, and you can upload those files
, write to ChatGPT, give it theprompt and it will create it for
you.
Okay, so that is one of themost powerful ways.
Now, if you do not have a blog, one of the cool things you
(03:17):
could do is you can still haveit, write an article and run
over to LinkedIn and I don'tknow if you know this, but
LinkedIn articles rank big timein the search engines.
So you could go out there, create it, go put it on your
LinkedIn profile and you couldpotentially rank for that in
LinkedIn.
So I see LinkedIn articles allthe time in the search engines
(03:39):
like Google.
It's very, very powerful.
So that's one way to do it Allright.
So number two the number twosmart way to repurpose your
videos is to take the transcriptand extract social media posts
out of it.
So one of the things that youcan do is you can take that
transcript, go into ChatGPT, letChatGPT know that what you're
(04:03):
doing is you want to create somelong form social posts from
your transcript on that topic.
And guess what?
When you, when, when youinstruct chat GPT to stick to
the same style and tone of yourvoice, which it can tell by
looking at the transcript, youcan get a, a text-based post
(04:26):
that can give you some great youknow information that you can
put out there and actually getgreat engagement with it.
So another way to do that againis to extract social media
posts out of it.
So you guys know I likelisticle style videos.
They're very powerful.
So if you have, for instance,10 points you want to cover in a
video, or three points, youknow that you could probably
(04:48):
extract at least three postsfrom that video transcript.
If you're doing, you know, seven, like I'm doing here, I
know I'm probably going to beable to get seven transcripts or
seven social posts out of that.
And that's really powerful, man, that's like really powerful
and it can happen literally injust seconds.
(05:09):
So one of the cool ways torepurpose is to take your video
transcript and get social postsout of it so that you have
content that you can share onsocial media.
All right, very, very powerful.
Number three Okay, and this isa very important thing that I
love to do is once I've createda video and obviously I want to
(05:32):
promote that video, and one ofthe ways that I promote my
videos is through my email list.
Now, if you're not generating anemail list, you should be, you
absolutely should be.
But here's the thing you canhave ChatGPT write an email for
you based on the transcript ofthe video.
So what you can do is, once youcreate that video, if you have
(05:55):
an email list I don't care ifit's 10 people or, you know,
five people or three people sendan email and you can have it
write that for you and you canthen send it out and promote
your video.
It's a great way to do it, andthe more and more you converse
with ChatGPT, the more and moreused to that you're used to
(06:17):
giving it instruction.
The more clearer theinstruction, the more framework
that you give ChatGPT, thegreater it can do for you.
So you can use it to writeemails for you, which is very,
very powerful as well.
So, number four the number fourway to repurpose your video
content with ChatGPT is tocreate.
(06:38):
I don't even know if you callit this anymore a tweet.
You could create tweets orthreads.
Threads is a big one today andyou can create tweet threads.
Okay, and if you're notfamiliar with what a tweet
thread is, it's basically whereyou have maybe five, six, seven,
eight, however many parts of it.
(06:59):
You guys have seen it wherethey say the actual text part is
more of the hook, and then inthe comments it breaks it out
into six, seven, eight, 10different threads.
So you can read it and you'regoing into the comments and
you're just kind of drillingdown.
So you could take a listiclestyle video, have chat GPT
(07:20):
extract out for you and create atweet thread.
That way you can post somethingon threads or Twitter or which
is no longer Twitter, it's X,and you can use that for
creating that content all fromone video.
Okay, we haven't even.
All we've done is create onevideo and we're already four
ways to repurpose it.
(07:41):
And this is just the beginning, okay, so if you, if you know
there's, if you feel likecreating a video is too much, it
is the the beginning point ofgiving you almost endless
content that you can tap intoand uh and use, and I love to
use these.
They're great.
All right, so that's numberfour.
(08:01):
Create a tweet thread from yourvideo transcript.
Number five this is a good onetoo is Instagram carousels.
If you are using Instagram, youcan take your transcript, give
ChatGPT the prompt that I wantto create a seven slide carousel
(08:23):
or a seven image carousel basedon this video.
Can you break it down intoseven pictures for me or seven
photos that I can create, andwhat it'll do is it'll extract
from your transcript and giveyou the exact wording that you
should put on your Instagramcarousel.
Okay, so carousels are anamazing way to drive traffic.
(08:46):
They're an amazing way to getengagement, especially on
Instagram, and, if you want, youcould also use those on
Facebook as well.
I'm seeing more and morecarousel style things on
Facebook, and that is definitelysomething that you can use it
for as well.
So that's number five.
Number six is this is a greatone you can pull out quotes and
(09:08):
one-liners from your transcript.
So if you're out there andyou're creating a video let's
say your video is 10 minuteslong I guarantee you are saying
things in that transcript thatcan be pulled out as a one-liner
and then a quote graphiccreated.
Now here's the other thing, andthis is very important as well
(09:28):
created.
Now here's the other thing, andthis is very important as well.
You may not know this, butChatGPT's image capability is
getting ridiculously good, likeridiculously good, and with
ChatGPT now which I highlyrecommend you get the $20 a
month plan, the plus plan youcan create images.
So let's say that you have animage you could actually upload,
kind of a template, to chat GPT.
(09:49):
Tell it what you want and giveit.
It'll create those images foryou and it's getting incredibly
good.
So the days of it taking hoursand hours to create content are
literally over.
Okay, chat GPT and AI arechanging the game and but here's
the key we want to put out goodcontent, and that's why when
(10:11):
you focus on creating a video, agood video, putting yourself in
there, creating that video andmaking it really good, the
content that people want to hearabout, then you can really
focus on extracting out of that.
So the cool thing is, you cancreate your own quote graphics
instead of, you know, quotingMichael Jordan or instead of
(10:33):
quoting, you know, tony Robbins.
Both are great you can actuallystart quoting yourself because
you say things in yourtranscripts that little, those
little one-liners that couldchange people's lives.
So that's a great way also isyou can create quotes.
You could then create quotecards and you could do that
(10:54):
Great way to repurpose yourvideos using ChatGPT.
All right, now this is the finalone, but this is one that I use
it for all the time, everysingle week.
I use Chad GPT to create andwrite my YouTube video
descriptions and all the SEOthat goes along with it.
So I actually create a customGPT, which you can do in the
(11:20):
plus plan, where all I do is Iupload my transcript and it will
create my YouTube description, all of the tags for me, based on
some of the relevant andtrending topics on that topic,
and it will give me that.
It'll give me title options, itgives me everything that I need
to upload my video to YouTubeand it happens in seconds.
(11:42):
So that is such a great way todo it.
I'm telling you, ai has changedthe game, so let's review these
real quick.
Number one you can turn it intoa blog post.
Take your video transcript, askChatGPT to write the blog post
for you, and if you're not 100%sure how to create an optimized
blog post, ask ChatGPT.
It'll give you the things thatyou need to make sure it's
(12:05):
optimized for search.
Number two extract social postsfrom your transcripts, from
your video transcripts.
You can then use those to postout on social and do that on a
regular basis.
Number three if you have anemail list, you can use it to
generate an email that you canthen send out to your email list
and promote it.
Number four you can createtweet threads or thread threads,
(12:30):
if that's what you want to callit, where you can then put that
out on social.
It's a great way to do it, andif you're not 100% sure what a
tweet thread is, do a littleresearch, go and search it up
and see exactly what it's allabout.
They're very popular and it's agreat way to repurpose your
content.
Number five you can create anInstagram carousel with stuff
(12:51):
you know, with one-liners andthings from your you know, from
your video transcript.
You can then create those andput those up on Instagram and
Facebook and other places thatit's becoming more popular.
Number six is to pull outone-liners and quotes from your
videos, which I guarantee yougive them those little things
(13:12):
you say sometimes you might noteven realize that you're saying
them that are very powerful.
And then, of course, numberseven is to use it to write your
YouTube descriptions and allthe SEO stuff that's necessary
in order to do that.
All right, so did you enjoythese?
Did they help you?
Did this help you Give you alittle bit more of an idea of
(13:33):
how why creating videos is sopowerful?
Because not only does it helpyou to get your brand out there,
get your voice and help peopleto get to know you, it's also a
great way to repurpose indifferent formats for reaching
people in different ways.
So if you enjoyed this, let meknow in the comments.
And also, if you haven't gottenmy AI-powered video kickstart
(13:56):
PDF yet, make sure you grab that.
Look in the comments below andlook right below this video.
You'll see a link where you canget signed up and grab that PDF
.
It's very powerful and it'llreally help you.
It is a mega prompt that I puttogether that helps you, number
one, hone in on your avatar, butalso gives you a follow-up
prompt to help you create 10 ofyour first videos or your next
(14:21):
10 videos, and it'll help you todo that.
So I appreciate you, hope youhave a great one and make sure
to leave a comment.
Let me know if you got valuefrom this.
I appreciate you have a greatday and we'll see you guys in
the next video.
You.
