SPEAKER_00 (00:48):
Hey you guys, what
is up?
Welcome back to the show.
I'm so excited and grateful tohave you here.
I just recorded this amazinginterview with one of my former
coaches, um, Leah Daniels.
She's gonna be on the show.
Um, I believe later in November.
I think this show is gonna bescheduled for.
I think it's gonna be scheduledeither for the the American
(01:08):
Thanksgiving or just the dayafter the American Thanksgiving.
I think the day that we'rescheduled for.
So um had this really amazingconversation about, you know,
our her history and working incorporate and how her career
transitioned and some of thesome of the ways just life just
had a different plan for her,you know, and sometimes life
does that.
Life will do that to us, lifewill have a different plan for
(01:30):
us.
Um, and that's kind of where Iwanted to start the conversation
today.
And, you know, we've beentalking a lot about purpose on
the podcast in the last coupleof weeks.
Um, as we make this shift in theconversations that we're having
here on the Femcast.
And I hope you I hope you'reenjoying the new content and let
me know if it resonates for you.
And I realize it probably won'tresonate for everybody, but
(01:53):
that's that's okay.
And um, I was kind of getting inmy head about that a little bit,
but I know that this is what'son my heart to talk about, to
share, to put out there into theworld.
So I have to just trust thatit's it's gonna work out, you
know?
And that is actually that leadsreally well into today's
conversation and the nextconversation, the next two
(02:15):
conversations that we'replanning.
Today I wanted to talk to youguys about purpose.
When I get asked this questionall the time, and I think
especially now, as we're movingthrough this next leg in human
evolution, this next leg of ourjourney in the human evolution,
(02:37):
a lot of people are gonna startwaking up to the fact that they
are misaligned, to the fact thatthere is a greater calling on
their heart, that there's agreater purpose for why they're
here.
And they're going to want tostart to understand what that
purpose is.
And this is really important.
We had one of these bigawakenings happen in 2011, 2012.
(02:57):
It's happening again.
There's been a lot of like miniawakenings happen like that
happened in between, but I thinkright now we are on the
precipice.
It's either like it's happeningalready.
I think people are alreadywaking up to it, but more and
more people are gonna startwaking up to this, this, this,
this thing, this this momentthat we're in, this evolutionary
moment that we're in.
And that is where we start torealize that you know there's a
(03:21):
greater purpose for us beinghere.
And once we start to under, oncewe start to become aware of it,
it makes it very difficult fordo to do what we've been what
we've been doing up until thispoint, like shift or be shifted,
right?
It's kind of the universe'saffirmation or mantra when it
(03:44):
comes to these things.
Like once you've awakened to therealization that you're meant,
you're here for a higherpurpose, a higher calling,
you're here to to play a part ina much, much, much bigger play
that's happening in thecollective, um, it becomes it,
(04:05):
it, it, it, it, it makes itselfmore and more and more obvious.
It makes continuing with thestatus quo and whatever you've
been doing up until this point, more and more and more
uncomfortable until you have nochoice but to surrender to
what's trying to come throughyou.
And so as we're standing in themidst of one of these beautiful,
(04:27):
but not always easy seasons thatwe're in right now.
And that's probably why I'vebeen kind of called to take the
podcast in a new direction.
In a way, it's almost me cominginto a different um purpose or
line of work or way that Iimpact or influence the world,
right?
So if you can think of it as,you know, first off, when it
(04:50):
comes to life purpose, it's notalways work-related.
Yes, your work can absolutelysupport your purpose a hundred
percent, but purpose is notalways work-related.
Purpose can be, I think we allhave, I think we all have, we
share one collective purpose, which is to come into greater
love and acceptance andunderstanding of higher
(05:10):
consciousness.
I think we all as evolutionarysouls are here to kind of learn
and embody that.
But I think on an individuallevel, we've all been given
certain gifts, talents, talents, experiences, um evolutions and
transformations that we've takenon our own that in some way,
(05:33):
shape, or form prepare us forwho it is that we're meant to be
in this life, and who it is thatwe're meant to be in this life
is playing a small part in amuch bigger, um, I don't know
what you want to call it, biggeroperation, bigger, bigger theme
(05:54):
or or thing that's playing out, right, collectively.
I think we all play a small partin something bigger and grander
than ourselves, right?
I guess the best way to put it.
Something like we eat, yes, that's it.
We each play a small part insomething so much bigger than
just ourselves.
Whether that is healing our owntrauma, healing our own
(06:15):
conditioning, healing our ownbeliefs, and then maybe sharing
that with others, or maybe it'sthe impact that we make in our
family or the impact that wemake in our community, or maybe
we're healing generationaltimelines and cycles that our
families have been repeating foryears.
Maybe we are clearinggenerational karma for our
family and for our lineage,right?
(06:35):
Maybe we are meant to do reallybig important work and we're
meant to get out there into theworld and actually make an
impact with that work, whetherit's through messaging, whether
it's through creating art, whether it's through healing the
collective, whether it's forthrough creating new, higher
consciousness, um, alignedinstitutions, right?
Like whatever it is, each of usis playing a smaller part in
(06:59):
something that is so much biggerthan ourselves.
And I think that we can ex whenwe can accept that, it makes
this whole process so mucheasier.
Because the question that I keepgetting, and sorry, I'm I'm I'm
if you're watching, if you'reseeing my reels and you're
freaking out because my eyes areclosed, it's because I'm
channeling.
So when I channel, I close myeyes.
So just bear with me as thismessage comes through.
(07:23):
Just take a deep breath and getconnected to the message again.
So I do apologize for that.
But as we come into thisawareness that we are meant to
play a smaller role or a smallpart in a much in something that
is so much bigger thanourselves, we it becomes easier
to accept and move with whereour heart is guiding us to go.
(07:45):
Because this is something thatwe're always in resistance to.
We are always in resistance towhere our heart is guiding us.
We question it, we don't trustit, we think it's silly, we
think it's irrational, we thinkit's illogical, we think it's
unsafe, we think it's notpractical.
The world has told us and taughtus and ingrained in us what is
(08:08):
practical, what is safe, what islogical, what is traditional,
what it is that we're supposedto do in this life.
And we are literally being askedto tune, just just to tune that
out, tune all that noise out,and only pay pay no attention to
what's happening behind thecurtain.
(08:28):
Pay no attention to the manbehind the curtain.
Pay no attention to the manbehind the curtain, the one
who's creating the illusionsthat they want you to see.
Only pay attention to what yourheart is telling you.
What your heart is telling youis your North Star.
It's your soul blueprint, it'swhat your soul came here to do,
be, and create in this life.
And the more that we can trustthat, the more aligned we will
(08:52):
be with our soul's purpose herein this life.
Now, the your purpose is notsomething that is figured out.
And I know, and I know because Iget people asking me all the
time, how do I figure out mypurpose is?
I really want to live a morepurposeful life, and you know,
everything just feels somonotonous and bad.
And I just like you know, youget to this point where it's
(09:13):
like life loses its joie de vie.
Like, I don't know, it losessomething, right?
It there something gets lost.
There's an essence, uh, a um apassion, uh, uh just this this
this energy, this vibrancy, thispotency that just dwindles,
(09:37):
right?
Um and everything just starts tofeel very monotonous and blah,
and you start to you start towant to rekindle that essence
again.
And oftentimes we're we're we'reconditioned to kind of look to
our environment to see where wecan capture that, where we can
find that again, where can Ifind the work environment that's
gonna help me feel that wayagain, or the type of work
(09:59):
that's gonna make me feel thatway again, and it is all
internal.
So instead of trying to look toyour outside world to give you
that sense of fulfillment, thatsense of passion, that sense of
of you know doing somethingamazing that lights you up from
the inside out in the world, that cannot be found out there,
that can only be found in here.
(10:21):
And your soul already knows whatthat is.
So it's not really an uh it'snot really a figuring out that
needs to happen, it is aremembering.
And in that remembering, becauseyour soul has been programmed to
do whatever your purpose is,it's been, you know, if you
think of if you think of ourtime here in in these lifetimes
(10:44):
here on earth as school, basically, each lifetime is like
a new evolution, a new grade,right?
And your soul's evolution forfor for who it is intending to
become in its greatestpotential, each lifetime serves
a purpose.
Each lifetime will teach yousomething, each lifetime will
help you evolve.
And as you evolve as a spiritualbeing, every lifetime that
(11:06):
you've that you've lived,everything that you've learned,
everything that you've you'vetransmuted or healed through,
that all comes with you.
And so when you think of thepurpose that way, it is so much
bigger than just a job that youdo.
Like I just want you tounderstand and grasp the concept
of a soul's purpose.
It is so much bigger and meansso much more to you and to the
(11:30):
collective than just a job thatyou do.
It is something that has beenimprinted in your divine
blueprint, and that you've beenpreparing for probably for more
than one lifetime.
And each lifetime it'll evolveand it'll go bigger and bolder
and bigger and bolder.
And as you start to uncover, andthis is a very slow, gentle
(11:56):
process, guys.
It's as you start to uncover andunravel what the pieces of that
purpose is and what it lookslike, and start to lean into and
trust, knowing that your heartwould not lead you astray, that
that somewhere in your heart, italready knows what you're meant
(12:16):
to be doing in this life.
And so every time it gives you anudge to do something, you just
kind of go with it and you trustit and you lean into it.
And then each step is revealedto you one tiny step at a time.
And so even in this life, yourpurpose can evolve as you move
through the different stages oflife, as you move through
different experiences, as youmove through different
(12:37):
evolutionary moments in yoursoul's trajectory, right?
So, um, you know, this kind ofthe the when we think of it in
that context, number one, it isa much bigger impact again than
just the work that we do.
And also, it is so much morethan just sitting down with a
(13:00):
journal one day and justjournaling who it is that you
want to be and what do you wantto become in the world and what
are the next steps to gettingthere, which is great.
It's a great exercise to do.
But you have to take everythingthat you know, and you also have
to remember that there's so muchthat you know that you don't
remember that you know.
Okay.
So, how do we do this, right?
(13:20):
How do we unravel these piecesthat tap into the potential of
who we are here to be and whatwe are here to do and create in
this life when it is so muchlarger than ourselves and so
complex and so nuanced?
Well, there's a couple things.
(13:41):
Um, you know, always look at, Ialways and I always say this
with my clients like let it bean evolution over time.
Always pay attention to what isalive for you right now.
Where do you feel called to payattention to, to make an impact,
to say something, to createsomething.
What out there is pulling atyour heart string strings and
(14:04):
saying, Yes, I want to getinvolved in this in some way,
shape, or form.
I don't know how.
I don't know what it looks like,I don't know what role I'm
supposed to play, but I knowthat this conversation, this
topic, this theme, this whateverthat's going on in the world
today is something that I amwanting to get more involved in.
That is speaking to a deeperpart of me.
(14:26):
And I, even though I can'tunderstand it or I can't
articulate it, I don't know why,I'm just gonna trust it.
I'm gonna lean into it.
So lean into the things that arealive for you right now in this
moment.
And pay attention to thosebecause they are speaking to
you, because that is exactly howthis pivot with my podcast
happened.
There was a conversationhappening out in the world that
(14:46):
was talking about, you know, speaking specifically to women
and supporting women and guidingwomen, and and if you ask me,
misleading and demeaning, notdemeaning, but keep just
encouraging women to just staysmall and second-guess
themselves and put a lid on allthe magic that they bring into
(15:10):
this world.
And I could not, in my goodconscience, sit back and do
nothing.
And I wanted to do something, and I said, okay, well, what
does that look like?
So I started to lean into it andtrust it, and lo and behold, we
have this big evolution of thepodcast, right?
And that's how these thingshappen.
They are a gentle unfolding, they are a leaning into what is
(15:31):
speaking to you, what feelsalive, what is inspiring you,
where are the gaps that you seein the world, where are the like
the information gaps or the theidea gaps?
What are they?
What would you do differently?
What would you do if you had themicrophone for five minutes?
What would you say?
You know, that might be what'sthe missing key or the missing
(15:51):
link and all of it.
Like just pay attention.
Pay attention to this momentright here, right now, and what
is wanting to be moved throughyou, what is wanting to be
created through you, what iswanting to be spoken through
you.
Okay.
Then also look at your life inits whole in its entirety.
(16:15):
What did you love to do when youwere a kid?
Right?
Leah mentioned this on the show.
This is one of her favoritequestions.
Who were you when you wereyounger?
What did you love to do?
How did you love to spend yourtime?
What was important to the littleversion of you that you might
have turned your back on thatwas important to you, the the
way that you love to spend yourtime, the things that mattered
(16:36):
to you and that that you wantedto make a difference with, the
(18:11):
dreams and the visions that youhad for your life?
What were they?
Right.
And have you let them fall bythe wayside?
And how can you bring some ofthose back online today?
What were some of theexperiences that you had, the
healing, the transformation, themoments that that you know made
you feel like, you know, youmade you drop to your knee that
(18:32):
you thought you were never, ever, ever going to survive, but
you did.
And what did those moments teachyou?
How did they help you to evolve?
You know, when we can start tolook at our life as this,
instead of, you know, looking atit from the from the lens of,
you know, and I hear this allthe time.
(18:53):
I hear this from from bothsides.
Like either, you know, you'vehad a really, really hard life
filled with challenges, and youkind of, you know, that's kind
of like the the that's that'sthe costume you put on every
morning, or you've had a reallyeasy life and you don't
understand the people who havehad a hard life, and you put on
the easy life costume everymorning.
What if it's not about what waseasy or hard?
(19:14):
What if everything was veryintentional?
Start to look at your life, nomatter how difficult or not it
was, as very intentional for youto step into who you are meant
to be in this life.
And if you start to look at allof those events, good or bad, as
something that was a steppingstone, a an event that was meant
(19:39):
to shape you, to alter yourstate of your energy or your
state of consciousness or yourawareness to transmute something
maybe into a higher frequencyexpression that maybe you know
you weren't meant to bring withyou, or maybe you needed to
upgrade, or maybe you needed toto to transform in some way.
Start to look at your life fromthis lens of you being a
(20:06):
spiritual being, having a humanexperience, and everything that
you experience in this life, nomatter how hard it is, is in
some way, shape, or formsupporting that spiritual
evolution that your soul hascommitted to, and start to look
at it, even if it's painful, asan important part of your soul's
(20:26):
evolution.
And that, you know, I always andI say this a lot when it comes
to emotion too.
You know, when we can look atour life like that and what
we're feeling like that, doesn'tmake anything anymore mean bad
or good.
Yes, it could be very difficult.
Yes, it could be painful, andyes, you know what?
(20:47):
Life happens, tragedy happens, and really unspeakable things
happen in this world.
And it's not to say it's not tosay that those are positive
things.
That's not what we're talkingabout here.
But what we are talking about isthat if you can just for one
second step out of your humanexperience right now and here in
(21:07):
this life, if you can step outof that and look at it from a
higher perspective, from abird's eye view, from a
spiritual evolutionaryperspective, where your soul
came here to experiencesomething for a reason.
And no matter how painful thatwas, if you can look at and you
might not be able to see itright away, sometimes it takes,
(21:29):
sometimes you can see itquickly, sometimes it takes
years to be able to seesomething.
It really depends on how closeyou are to it and how painful it
is, and and how you move throughprocessing whatever it is that
that that you experience.
But if you can view it as thiswas just something your soul
came here to experience, and theonly thing that you need to do
is make sure that you extractthe the information, the
(21:54):
healing, the the inspiration, the the the um transmutation
that you're meant to extractfrom this experience and let the
rest kind of fall away.
Take that part with you becausethat is an important part of who
you're here to become.
I did not, I did not start doingthis work.
(22:16):
Obviously, you guys know this.
I didn't start doing this workbecause my life was easy.
I didn't start doing this workbecause my relationships were
easy.
I started, or I didn't start, Idefinitely didn't start doing
this work because I loved myselfand I thought I deserved it.
I started doing this workbecause I struggled with my
self-worth.
I struggled in feeling like Iwas enough.
I struggled in relationship tofind relationships where I felt
(22:40):
worthy, where I felt loved, seen, and appreciated for who I
was, relationships that feltsafe.
You know, for the longest timefor me, relationships did not
feel safe.
Um and so, you know, I createdthis platform because I wanted
women to know, A, that theyweren't alone, and and B, like I
(23:01):
wanted them to learn somethingfrom what I had moved through,
what I was experiencing.
I wanted to share that with agreater for for to as a as a
greater purpose, as to give, togive pain a purpose to pain,
right?
Um, and help create, help takewhat I've learned, what I've
been through, what I'veexperienced to help others make
(23:26):
a quicker shift or atransformation and maybe even
avoid having to go through thatexperience altogether, right?
So, you know, what are thosethings that you've been through?
Those are important.
You don't go through things inthis life at random.
Everything is preparing you forsomething.
So if you can look at yourpurpose and your life from that
lens, if you can say this is mypurpose, and so therefore A, B,
(23:48):
and C had to happen for me inorder to do this work, to do
this purpose work, whatever itis, then everything starts to
make sense.
Because I can tell you rightnow, there was a time in my life
where I hated what I had gonethrough.
I hated having gone through allthat heartbreak, all that, you
(24:09):
know, having settled so horriblyin so many relationships, but I
still hold so much shame oversometimes.
Um, you know, just just all ofthe the early the early
childhood trauma, the therelationship trauma, the like
just all the stuff, all the gunkthat I had gone through.
There was a time when I had somuch resistance to it, I just
(24:30):
wanted to wish it away because Ididn't see it the point in any
of it.
Like I just wanted to live anormal life, like everybody else
I thought was, right?
And I didn't see what all thatwas there for.
And now I can safely see thateverything that I experienced in
this life was leading to thismoment, was was in some way,
shape, or form leading me to thework that I meant to do here in
(24:52):
this life.
And it'll continue to do sountil the day I die, and I
believe that.
And so now everything, no matterhow difficult it was, no matter
how painful it was, no matterhow traumatizing it was, I know
it served a powerful purpose.
And I use that purpose in a waythat creates impact in the lives
of others.
(25:14):
So sometimes, and I will saythis, and I can say this without
any doubt, sometimes it's thepeople who have been through the
most painful things that whohave been through some of the
most um challenging traumas orpainful experiences that are
actually meant for a really bigpurpose, whatever that purpose
(25:37):
might be.
Maybe your purpose is to speakin front of other people, maybe
your purpose is to heal others,to guide others, to be a
teacher, a writer, a speaker.
Maybe your purpose is to, maybeyour purpose is to uh raise a
family and you know, heal thosegenerational traumas and make
sure that they don't get passedon to the next generation.
(25:58):
Maybe your purpose is to um, youknow, transform corporate
institutions from you knowworking on the inside of those
institutions.
Maybe, you know, there's so manyways that our purpose can look
and can um can exist and can becan be birthed into the world,
(26:21):
right?
It doesn't have to be um, youknow, entrepreneurship, although
oftentimes it is, but it doesn'thave to be, right?
Um, it really all depends onyou, who you are, the wisdom
that you bring, the things thatyour soul has experienced, and
everything that you'veexperienced in this lifetime,
and everything that inspires youand delights you and makes you
(26:42):
feel that full body yes, youknow, when you're talking about,
you know, obviously not the painand the trauma, but the pot the
outcomes of the work that youdo.
Like nothing gives me more of afull body yes than being able to
take a stand for and share thatI do believe that women are
meant to do great things in thisworld.
And I do believe that as we allstep into our power and purpose,
(27:05):
we do our part, our small part,to creating a better world for
everybody else.
And I believe that with my wholeheart.
And I also believe that we needmore, way more women in
leadership roles so that we canshape this next new phase of our
reality as a collective, right?
I believe that we are, you know,we are meant to be moving to
(27:28):
more towards an egalitarian typeof society.
Um, you know, there's evidenceof having had matriarchal,
matriarchal societies in thepast, although most of the texts
have been destroyed, so we don'thave a lot of detail, at least
not that I know of.
We can ask the historians.
I'm not a historian.
Um we we know that we're livingin a very patriarchal society
now, which we can see is notworking, right?
(27:52):
So maybe that, and and naturealways does that.
Nature always goes from oneextreme to the other, from one
side to the other, frommasculine to feminine, from dark
to light, back and forth untilit balances somewhere in the
middle.
And maybe that's what this nextphase of our evolution is,
right?
Is just balance out in themiddle to create this
egalitarian society.
And in order to do that, we needmore women leaders.
(28:16):
We meet, we need more people, more women stepping into their
purpose and men and beingfeminine-led instead of always
being masculine-led, you know?
Um, and so I believe that whenwe do that, we will absolutely
create a world, uh, create abetter world for everybody.
And so for me, doing this work, even if it's a small
(28:38):
contribution to that collectivedirection that we're moving in,
that thrills and delights mebecause there is nothing that I
want to create more in thislife.
I just hope I get to actuallysee the fruits of my labor and
it happens while I'm stillalive.
Because I don't know, I'mlooking at I'm looking at the
world around.
I'm like, this could take awhile.
(29:00):
This might not happen next week.
We have a lot of work to do.
Um, but like you can, you knowwhat I'm talking about, right?
So, yes, that moves me, thatstirs something deep within my
soul that feels like a full-bodyfucking yes.
And so I'm excited for that.
And I also know that everythingthat I've been through in this
(29:20):
life and all the relationshipexperiences I had and the
upgrowing, the the up the myupbringing and and and my work
experiences and school,friendships, relationships,
everything, all of it supportsthat.
And if you listen to my episode,um I don't know if it's a few
weeks back, maybe a couplemonths back actually, when I
shared my my when I did my pastlife regression work, what I've
(29:45):
learned is my past life hasbeen.
Um, all my past lives preparedme for this.
So this for me is a huge part ofmy soul's evolution.
So yes, I'm totally freakinghere for it.
Um, but again, it is a gentleunfolding over time.
It is not something that youfigure out tomorrow or next
week.
(30:06):
Even me, for the longest time,my relations my purpose was
helping women heal their toxicrelationship patterns.
And now that's stepped into thenext phase of that evolution
where it's like, okay, onceyou've healed your relationship
patterns, what are you gonna dowith all that energy that you're
no longer using to contribute tothese toxic relationship
patterns?
Well, you're gonna step intoyour power and you're gonna do
(30:27):
amazing shit with it.
And that's what all my clientshave done.
All my clients have moved on,have he what that have moved on
and healed their toxicrelationship stuff that they had
going on, ended up taking thatenergy, pouring it back into
themselves and creating amazingthings in this world, whether it
was businesses, whether it wasmoving up in their careers, um,
you know, whatever it was.
(30:48):
So that is, I think, where we'reat here today.
I think, you know, and uh atleast if you follow this
podcast, you know, if you'vestruggled with trying to find
that purpose and that meaning inyour life, you know, you've been
you've been kind of, you know, trying to not you've been you've
(31:08):
you've moved through, you'venavigated a lot of these
relationship dynamics, you'vedone a lot of the healing work,
um, you freed yourself from someof these toxic cycles, these
unhealthy cycles that you werecaught up in for the longest
time.
And now you've come back toyourself, right?
So now you've come back toyourself, you've chosen
yourself, you're about nowyou're you're you're back, uh,
you know, you center, you'reyou're you're self-led,
self-focused.
(31:30):
Now what do you do with all thatenergy?
Well, you create somethingfucking amazing with it.
You go, you go within and youyou ask yourself, what would I
want to create in this world?
If anything was possible, whatwould I create?
If I didn't have to worry aboutmoney or resources or being
supported, if I didn't think Icould feel, what the fuck would
I create?
What do I see that is missing inthe world?
(31:52):
That is driving me bonkers, andI want to maybe take participate
in creating it?
You know, what has what has haseverything I've ever done in my
life taught me about myself andthe kind of woman I want to be
and the things that light me upand that I'm passionate about?
What even, and and this isanother thing that came up in my
conversation with Leah, whateven in your career, in your in
(32:15):
your work history, might havethat prepared you for?
Because I can tell.
You right now, and Leah said thesame thing.
Neither one of us had a linearcareer journey.
We jumped from one thing to theother.
Like I was a fashion major whothen, you know, worked in retail
for the longest time and thenwent into finance from there.
(32:37):
Um, or actually, that wasn'texactly no, what we went.
Well, let's recap one second.
Hold on a second.
I'm I'm my brain farting here.
So we went from fashion school,we went to retail.
Then I got my first office jobafter that, and I went into
admin work.
And then I oh, then I went intoleadership development, and
that's when I was running theleadership of executive coaching
(32:59):
program for one of the topconsulting firms.
Um, and running the runningtheir coaching program, their
their leadership events are umwhat's it called?
Um, development strategy, likehelping with that, and then um
left corporate.
Then there was the bummingaround Southeast Asia and a
(33:20):
sarong and flip-flops episodethat we had just had not too
long ago.
Um, then started my ownbusiness, but continued to work
on like continued to work andstarting the business on the
side, ended up working infinance, leadership, and
strategy.
All of it, all of it, alltogether, has been everything
(33:45):
that I needed in order to makethis business successful.
From the retail experience tothe design experience to the
administrative experience to theleadership development, the
executive coaching program thatI worked with, the finance, the
strategy, the automation, theexpansion, like all of that has
(34:08):
helped and has played a big partin me being able to do the work
that I'm doing today.
And so look at where your lifehas taken you.
Look at some of the things thatyou've lived through.
What have you experienced?
What were those hard moments?
What did they teach you?
(34:28):
What has your career historybeen?
And what has that taught you andempowered you to do?
What are the things that youlove doing?
What are the things that lightyou up?
What are the things, theconversations that you see
happening around you that youfeel like you want to say
something, but you hold yourselfback?
Maybe it's time to get into theconversation, or maybe it's time
to get involved in some of thosemovements, maybe it's time to
(34:50):
learn more, to expose yourselfmore to those, those, um, those
conversations, those topics, those themes, whatever it is for
you, and let it unfold.
Let it unfold.
Stop trying to control it, stoptrying to figure it all out.
(35:10):
You're not going to figure outyour purpose in here.
It's not something to be figuredout, it's something to be slowly
remembered.
And you'll remember it onelittle piece at a time.
And as you move through, so asyou take each step, you'll get
the guidance.
You'll say, step here, you'lltake the step there.
You take the step, once you takethe step, you'll next step will
(35:32):
be revealed, and so on and so onand so on.
And it'll unfold itself verynaturally and very organically.
And when it is time for you toshift, you will know.
Because just like we did withthis podcast, you'll know
exactly when it's time to shift.
Um the message will, again, you'll know exactly when you
know what the thing is.
(35:53):
Again, a gentle unfolding, it'snot something that can be
forced, even though I failed totake my own advice this time and
kept getting into my head tryingto figure out what, well, what?
This isn't resonating anymore.
What am I supposed to be doing?
I don't know.
Like it just doesn't feel right, blah, blah, blah, blah.
And I would think and think andthink and think and think.
And then I finally said, okay, you know what?
You're being your own worstfucking client right now.
Stop it.
(36:13):
Go do something else.
Go, I don't know, go take careof your mom and dad.
Go write a write a poem orsomething, or, you know, just go
start speaking into themicrophone and see what
naturally wants to come throughyou.
Okay, fine, go binge scroll somemore.
And then I started to look atthe things that were triggering
me online, and I was like, oh.
(36:34):
And this is where the ragehealing became very important
for me because it actuallyshowed me, it actually showed me
exactly what I was what I waswanting to do.
Because as I was zoom scrollingand getting triggered by the
content that I was seeing thatwas targeted and marketed
towards women, and I was like, that is just fucking, no, I am
not standing for that.
Absolutely fucking not.
How can I block this person?
(36:55):
How can I like mute theiraccount?
And then I'm like, and thensomething in my voice is like,
hold on a second.
If you have something to say,why aren't you saying it?
And so I started saying it.
And I started saying the thingthat the thing that was
uncomfortable saying.
And I started saying the thingthat I was holding back from
saying because I thought peoplewould be angry or upset or it
was too polarizing, and people, you know, people wouldn't like
(37:17):
it, and I would lose followersor whatever.
I just fucking said the damnthing.
And I started saying it, and Istarted saying it more and more.
And so the next iteration of theFemcast revealed itself to me
through that process.
So let whatever wants to bebirthed through you happen in
its own divine timing.
All you need to do is make spacefor it.
(37:37):
You need to make space for it,and you need to come at it from
a place of curiosity, of lookingat your life as though it were a
puzzle to that was leading youto something.
Okay.
And stop trying to figure it outand find the nice little one one
sentence line that's gonnathat's gonna encapsulate
everything that you're whatyou're here to do.
(37:58):
Your soul is so much bigger thanthat.
And let it be.
You know, do what feels rightfor right now and let it evolve.
And know that it will evolveover time.
It's never gonna stay exactlythe same.
If we're if it stays exactly thesame, then we're not we're not
growing, right?
And and and no, I can tell youright now, no soul actually
(38:19):
wants that.
Your soul actually wants togrow, it wants to evolve.
That's why it's here.
