Born and raised in Philadelphia Pennsylvania, Melissa Montero is a prolific children’s author. Melissa’s deep passion for writing comes from her desire to see her three biracial children embrace both their Hispanic and African American cultures. There’s no limit to her creativity as she sees beyond just writing good stories- she incorporates brilliant intuition and insight to make each piece of her work unique and most importantly purposeful. The proud mother of three is also graduate of Gettysburg College with a Bachelor’s degree in sociology.
