Denise Ann Kelley (Pen name D. A. Kelley) is an Urban Christian Fiction author. Denise is a contributing author in ReShonda Tate Billingsley’s The Motherhood Diaries 2, which was nominated for an award with The African American Literary Awards.

Denise’s debut novel entitled: 70x7: The Road to Forgiveness was originally released in 2014; but has since been re-launched with Anointed Inspirations Publishing in 2016. The new title is Even When It Hurts: Seventy Times Seven. This novel received a Five Star review on Amazon and Goodreads. On release date the novel was number one on Amazon’s kindle list as a Hot New Release for Urban Christian Fiction. Denise was also number two on Amazon’s Kindle list for Best Seller. Ms. Kelley’s novels have recently been approved to be distributed in women’s federal prisons throughout the United States, Canada and London.

Denise’s novella entitled Revenge: Sweet as Cain was released Dec. 2015; which received a five star review from PEN ‘Ashe magazine, Amazon and Goodreads.

Denise currently writes for Major Key Publishing. Her novels can be found on Amazon, B&N online, and other literary book sites.

Denise carries the message of forgiveness. She has appeared on numerous internet talk radio shows discussing how forgiving changed her life, as well as other inspirational topics. Denise’s ministry is geared toward encouraging hurting women.

Denise is an ordained and licensed teacher in her church’s organization. She has spoken at several churches as a keynote speaker for women conferences, seminars, panels, or just simply teaching a Bible lesson, which she does weekly at her church.

Denise inspires women by sharing her testimony about how her faith in GOD helped her to forgive in the most difficult of times. Denise’s knowledge of the scriptures, along with her fun-loving approach, captivates the audience and draws them in. Denise has a heart for the millennials, and for women who feel like suicide is their only option. She is a certified spiritual life purpose coach. Denise is the founder of #SOS She Overcame Suicide, LLC. This is another avenue Denise uses to encourage women life is worth living. She also has published an anthology entitled She Overcame Suicide. Denise is a crisis counselor for the Crisis Text Line.

Ms. Kelley currently resides in Roanoke, VA. She obtained a love for writing and reading at a young age, and both are still her passions today. She recently received an Honorary Degree in Humane Letters.
