Death is something all humans have in common and we will all grieve the loss of loved ones at some time as well as walk our own final journey to the end. Let's not fear death, but learn how to walk alongside our loved ones with compassion and how to finish our final journey with intentionality and peace. In this podcast, we will discuss common difficulties and fears we face in the midst of death as well as the hope we find in our faith.

Welcome back to The Final Journey! In this episode we are going to invite you to explore some questions, like what fear monsters do you have hiding in your closet? What are some of your fears surrounding death? Are you choosing to just cope with those fears to make it through the day?
Join us in this episode as we explore a common fear around death- the fear of being without loved ones. We will have a conversation about grief, how our identities can be defined by a relationship or role, learning what it looks like to be stuck, and practical ways you can honor your loved one's memory while moving forward in life.
Join our discussion about how we try to avoid dealing with pain and suffering by distracting ourselves and trying to numb the pain. We'll talk about gaining perspective and not becoming a victim of our suffering, but learning how to transcend beyond the pain. We can be present and experience peace in the midst of our final journey.
Join us in the conversation about taking care of business before we end our final journey. We will discuss how we can help prepare our family for our passing by being organized, expressing our wishes and the importance of talking about end of life issues. We'll also be joined by a physician who will address topics like advanced directives, palliative care, hospice, and making difficult decisions at the end of life.
