Martyrs is a horror revenge movie unlike no other. This film depicts a cult seeking answers regarding the afterlife and delves into the depraved torture of humans to find these answers. The film's atmosphere is so bleak and does a great job of pivoting from a revenge plot to the captors' purpose, while remaining thoroughly entertaining and original.
