And they have some honest conversations about some tough subjects. For more than 25 years Captain Mike McCaffery served the city of New York. First as a police officer in the 120th precinct, and later as a firefighter in Engine 216 where he met Rob. He was then promoted to lieutenant in Engine 201 and finally as the Captain of Engine 228. He has been a fierce advocate for his fellow firefighters and was a huge part of the passage of the Zadroga Act. He’s a helper and he’s a hero. He’d never say that, but we will.
