Welcome to Season 5 of the podcast! I’m so happy to be back! I really missed you guys!

For our Season 5 premiere, we have our very first return guest to the podcast! This week, I’m talking to Tyler Bancroft who is a guy that wears many hats in the music industry - he’s the lead singer of Vancouver indie rock band Said The Whale and he’s also a music industry professional who runs a record label and manages artists, among many other things. And we’re going to talk about where we think the industry is headed this year, as we each do our music industry predictions for 2024.

Now full disclosure, I was planning to get the season started a few weeks ago but it didn’t turn out that way. So, 1 - if our references feel about a month old, that’s why. It’s crazy how quick things move these days! And 2 - I apologize for having a 2024 predictions episode in March but here we are.

At any rate - it was a really great talk + I hope you enjoy it!

CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist

CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist

It’s 1996 in rural North Carolina, and an oddball crew makes history when they pull off America’s third largest cash heist. But it’s all downhill from there. Join host Johnny Knoxville as he unspools a wild and woolly tale about a group of regular ‘ol folks who risked it all for a chance at a better life. CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist answers the question: what would you do with 17.3 million dollars? The answer includes diamond rings, mansions, velvet Elvis paintings, plus a run for the border, murder-for-hire-plots, and FBI busts.
