The topic of this week’s show is HOW TO RETURN TO MUSIC AFTER A HIATUS and joining me on the show is Winnipeg blues guitarist and singer-songwriter Romi Mayes.
Romi just released a new single on May 17th, after not releasing any new music for 9 years and she also has a new album coming out at the end of June! We had a great conversation about what led to her extended break from her music career and how she made the decision to come back.
It was a really great chat and I hope you enjoy it!

CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist
It’s 1996 in rural North Carolina, and an oddball crew makes history when they pull off America’s third largest cash heist. But it’s all downhill from there. Join host Johnny Knoxville as he unspools a wild and woolly tale about a group of regular ‘ol folks who risked it all for a chance at a better life. CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist answers the question: what would you do with 17.3 million dollars? The answer includes diamond rings, mansions, velvet Elvis paintings, plus a run for the border, murder-for-hire-plots, and FBI busts.
