Speaker 1 (00:00):
Hey guys, it's B-Rob,
it's the Food for Thought
Faithcast and it is Wednesdaytoday.
Wow, my days are getting mixedup, Wednesday, July 16th, and I
have a special brother in Christon the line here, Neal Broach.
Speaker 2 (00:20):
Neal, say hey to the
listeners, what's up everybody,
how y'all doing.
Speaker 1 (00:26):
Neil is a brother of
mine that I met this weekend
through man Camp Reunion.
Neil, tell us a little bitabout yourself, what you do for
a living and a little bit aboutyour family and how old you are
and that sort of thing.
Give them a little introduction.
Speaker 2 (00:43):
Well, like you
introduced, my name is Neil
Broach.
I was born and raised inGraniteville, south Carolina.
I currently live in NorthAugusta, south Carolina, on the
Edgefield County side of I-20 ofInterstate 20.
What I do for a living?
I'm a union electrician out ofAugusta, georgia.
I work at Savannah Riverside.
Electrician out of Augusta,georgia.
(01:06):
I work at Savannah Riverside.
A little bit about my family Meand my wife Candy has been
married for July 28th, coming upwill be 15 years.
We are a blended family.
We have five kids together.
You know she has three, I havetwo, but you know we don't do
the stepkid stuff at our house.
They're our kids and yeah, that's pretty much it.
(01:30):
We go to church in CSRA WorshipCenter over behind the Pot
Smoker Barbecue in Belvedere,116 Wildey Drive.
And you also lead worship forthe church as well, right,
Sometimes the pastor's wife, MsApril Babb.
She's the worship leader.
Okay okay, you have me and MissEddie and Joel.
(01:53):
He plays the guitar and sings.
His dad, wendell, helps in thesound room and he plays the drum
box.
You know he does good on thedrum box.
Speaker 1 (02:05):
The cajon, the cajon
yeah.
Speaker 2 (02:11):
But yeah, we've been
there roughly four years a
little over four years since2021, probably March or April of
21.
And we just love life, man.
We're so thankful to be here.
Such an honor to be on yourshow, man.
It was such a great time thatwe had this weekend.
(02:33):
Like you said, we met thisweekend at the reunion and, to
my knowledge, we have not metbefore then.
Speaker 1 (02:42):
No, not unless you
came and served at at the spring
trace this, but I don't.
I don't remember seeing ormeeting you there, so I don't
think you did that, did you?
Speaker 2 (02:52):
you talking about
this past april?
Speaker 1 (02:53):
yeah, this past april
no, that that.
Speaker 2 (02:56):
That's.
That's the one that I've missedsince october of 21, when I
came through um.
That's the one I missed servingon because I turned 50 the same
week that they were having thereunion.
Speaker 1 (03:10):
Right.
Speaker 2 (03:11):
We had a big trip
planned and I hated missing it.
I felt kind of out of place, but you know, other than that,
we had a good trip and you knowit was what was needed.
Speaker 1 (03:21):
Absolutely so.
How did you?
When was the first man campthat you attended?
Speaker 2 (03:28):
The fall-October camp
of 2021.
Speaker 1 (03:32):
Awesome, awesome.
Such a great experience, man.
How did you get hooked up withNikita and the man camp?
Speaker 2 (03:41):
A buddy of mine, bill
Turner.
He went through April of 21.
He's real good friends with meand our pastor and a bunch of
men at our church where he cameto our men's ministry meeting
and talked about man camp andthe things he experienced,
without going into a whole lotof detail about the mystery of
(04:03):
Camp Little Light.
The know the mystique of thatplace.
Speaker 1 (04:06):
Oh yeah, oh yeah.
Speaker 2 (04:10):
You there?
Yeah, I'm here, okay.
Then later on, a few monthslater, we actually had Nikita
come speak at our church and gotto talking to him more about it
and about man camp.
It was just, um, it wassomething that I thought I
(04:31):
didn't need right right and mywife, my wife candy.
She said I think you need to goto this camp.
I said I ain't going to thatcamp, man.
What I need that camp for, youknow I'm, you know I'm a pretty
good fella, I'm a pretty goodfellow, I'm a pretty good dude.
That's for people that's wayworse than me.
She said, honey.
She said no matter how goodsomebody is, they can always be
better.
And it really struck a chord.
(04:51):
And then God started dealingwith me about going.
So not only me but me, mypastor and Wendell, which you
met this weekend too, that go tochurch with us.
We all three went at the sametime, so you had two men of the
church plus their pastor.
And, yeah, what, what a greatexperience, man, what, what,
what a what so I met turner.
Speaker 1 (05:13):
The same day I met
nikita at crescent automotive
yep, yep, that's his place yep, yep, and I actually worked there
for a month, met Nikita, andthat's how I it's kind of a
weird association.
It's kind of not weird, it'sdivine.
Divine association, cause Ionly worked in that place.
(05:34):
I feel like just to meet Nikitaand to do this man camp.
So it was, it was, it's.
The God works in amazing ways.
He really does.
Speaker 2 (05:44):
That's correct.
You couldn't be more correct, because nothing happens in life
by happenstance or just bychance.
Speaker 1 (05:52):
Right right.
Speaker 2 (05:54):
God orchestrates
things in our lives to put us in
places that he wants us at, tohave the influence of people
around us that we need for thatparticular point in our life.
Speaker 1 (06:03):
Right, it's amazing.
It is amazing.
Nikita even told me.
I said, man, I don't believe incoincidences.
Nikita said, well.
Well, an old Jewish friend ofmine told me that coincidences
are merely God showing upanonymously.
And I was, like that, struckhome with me ever since.
He told me that that was great.
Speaker 2 (06:22):
Right.
And then the thing about Nickis if you'd have told nine
10-year-old Neil Broach thathe'd ever be sitting across the
table from the key to call offand having conversations.
You know, being able to havethe relationship that we have
now, and there's just the levelof mutual respect between what
(06:44):
used to be a childhood hero, because you know, down south
we're big on the wrestling.
Speaker 1 (06:48):
Oh yeah, bro, I was
with you, I think me and you are
the same age and that's kind ofwhat hit us off baseball and
stuff that we grew up doing.
Speaker 2 (06:57):
Right and to know
that you can have that kind of
relationship with a man likethat.
And to know that you can havethat kind of relationship with a
man like that, with an iconicfigure in the wrestling world
(07:18):
who has who through Christ hasallowed God to transform his
life and to do the same thinghe's doing now.
Speaker 1 (07:21):
It's it's crazy.
And to be able to bless so manymen Right Through this, through
this ministry, it, thisministry it's simply amazing.
I wanted to touch base with youon something.
You told a story to somebodyand I overheard it.
You told them that your daddyplayed softball slow pitch
softball and he used to tell youright or left field and you'd
(07:43):
go out there and catch the homeruns After he hit it.
He'd point it and then hit it.
And the funny thing is, man, that story I've got the same
exact story of the childhood.
I grew up on the softball fieldand my dad used to do the exact
same thing.
I thought that was amazing, man.
Speaker 2 (08:01):
I thought that was
the way the story went was?
You know, my daddy was a deadpool hitter.
If you wanted to get him out,you move everybody from the
right side of the field to theleft side.
He was dead pool and me and mywife were conversating with our
pastor and his wife and we werejust talking about life and
about how we grew up and aboutour parents and all that, and
(08:23):
you know, seeing my dad be ableto hit the ball that far and
going to get the home run balls, and I said you know what I'm
going to do that one of thesedays.
And I was telling her that, Iwas telling them that I said I
wanted to do that, I wanted tobe that, I wanted to go further
than my dad did, to be betterthan he was, and to just have
that respect and have the peoplelook at me that way.
(08:45):
And to just have that respectand have the people look at me
that way.
And she just started smilingand she said Neal.
She said I'm going to tell yousomething.
She said if you would aspire tobe as much like your heavenly
father as you did your earthlyfather, god's going to open up
doors that you ain't never seenor dreamed possible.
And that's something your wifetold you no, that's something my
(09:08):
pastor's wife said oh yeah, that's right, that's right,
that's right.
And when we was in that meetingthen it was just like a gut
punch or a chop in the throat ina good way, because it's never
been explained to me that way.
Speaker 1 (09:18):
Yeah, man, that is,
that is good, that's good stuff,
it really is.
Speaker 2 (09:22):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (09:23):
So another story I
wanted to ask you about that.
You told me that I almoststarted bawling when I tell me
about the perfume bottle andwhat Neil told you, our other
friend Neil.
That was so good.
Speaker 2 (09:38):
Okay, it's kind of
hard to talk about man, camping,
camp, little light and and thefullness, because you don't want
to give away, like I say, themystique Right.
Speaker 1 (09:52):
Right.
But well, the audience knowsthat there's 120 acres and at
any moment during man camp thatyou can stumble upon a bone yard
or a junkyard or a stream or ameadow.
It's just so many things thathave been prayed over and
(10:12):
there's so many opportunitiesthere for you to experience God
in nature.
And so the audience alreadyknows that from the last podcast
I did.
The last podcast was aboutbeing pure on the inside,
because we all strive to lookgood.
We all strive to look good toour neighbor or look good to our
(10:35):
brother or look in thisparticular world, but so they
already know.
You know, kind of sort ofwithout giving too many details
about man camp, but this storyjust touched my heart, so that's
why I wanted you to tell it.
Speaker 2 (10:52):
Oh OK, on the ride up
there I had full intentions of
going to what we refer to as theboneyard Right and in my walk
in my Christian life, I justfelt like I was dry.
You know, I said if I can.
And I thought to myself youknow the story of Elijah, you
know about the dry bones, rattling about dry bones, and I
(11:15):
said that's what I need.
I said I need to go to thatbone yard because I just feel
dry.
I just need God to breathe onme.
Well then, we get up there andyou remember we're supposed to
buddy up with somebody for theweekend.
Speaker 1 (11:27):
Right right.
Speaker 2 (11:28):
Everybody's looking
around.
And here comes Neil Roberts andhe said me and you're going to
be buddies this weekend.
I said we are really.
He said why is that?
He said, well, there was justsomething about you whenever I
saw you and what's definite is,we will not forget each other's
names.
Right, okay?
I said cool, so you know.
(11:49):
You know, we had the questionsthat we had to ask our buddy to
get to know him because it wasall about forging relationships.
This past weekend, right, um, Isaid I asked him about his man
camp experience and he told meabout this junk pile that God
had led him to.
And as he was there spendingtime with God, god showed him
(12:11):
this most beautiful perfumebottle laying on the ground and
he said man, that's a prettybottle.
And he went over there and hepicked it up and then just the
most beautiful shape, the mostbeautiful color, but it was
slammed full of junk.
And God revealed to him at thatmoment.
He said this is exactly howyour life looks.
This is exactly how your lifelooks right now.
(12:33):
On the outside you look allgood and prim and proper and
like where you need to be, buton the inside you're just full
of junk.
And just like this perfumebottle, instead of spraying out
sweet fragrance and stuff thatsmells good, you're spewing out
just junk.
And I mean it hit me like a tonof bricks.
(12:57):
I was like, oh my word.
And for the rest of that dayI'm like all I could hear was
get neil go to the junkyard, getneil go to the junk pile.
Get Neil go to the junkyard.
Get Neil go to the junk pile.
Get Neil go to the junk pile.
Well, after we done our littleactivity that afternoon we were
right there at the bottom, rightclose to where it was at.
When we got done with ourlittle activity after lunch I
(13:21):
said, hey, man, where's thatjunk pile?
It was me and Neil Roberts andI call him Big Tony.
I never got his last name, butthe Lord knows who he is.
He said I'll show you.
And we started walking overthere and Tony was walking kind
of straight.
I said no, tony.
I said come on over and youknow you join us.
And when we got to the spot hewas telling me about, I lost it.
(13:45):
I mean that the presence of godwas on on that particular spot,
with us three men right there, and I just started bawling.
I mean, started justuncontrollably crying and I told
, I told neil, I said I had fullintentions of going to the bone
yard.
Until you told me that story, Isaid, and the Holy Spirit would
not let that story go for me,would not let you get away from
(14:07):
me, until we went to this boat,to this junkyard, to this junk
pile.
And it was at that moment that Icould pour out and ask for
forgiveness for things that I'vedone, for not walking the godly
walk that he's called me towalk, to not be the godly walk
that he's called me to walk, tonot be the godly man that he's
called me to be, to renouncethings in my life that I've been
(14:30):
holding on to, to rebuke thingsthat were spoke over me and
renounce things that were spokeover me, you know, from years
back.
Right and renounce the thingsand rebuke the way I've treated
my wife.
You know the things and rebukethe way I've treated my wife and
, for everybody listening, wehave a great marriage, you know
(14:56):
it's just, you know, sometimesthings just go south.
Speaker 1 (14:58):
That's every marriage
.
If it was easy it wouldn't beworth it, right?
Speaker 2 (15:04):
Yeah, that's right.
And at that moment, you know, Iwas able to pour out with
brothers praying for me.
We was able to pray for Neil,we was able to pray for Tony and
you know and that's anotherstory in and of itself, because
I didn't know Tony had leftanything there with us until
(15:24):
later on in the weekend, whenever Nikita said go say an
encouraging word to somebody.
Speaker 1 (15:29):
If you remember that,
you know Right, oh, yeah, yeah,
absolutely.
Speaker 2 (15:33):
And that's when I
found out you know, that he had
left a bunch of stuff on thatjunkyard too, and he just
started crying.
I remember embracing him.
But before I get to that, godrevealed to me exactly what I
needed to pray for.
And that's what I've done.
(15:54):
And before we left that junkpile, neil said hey, buddy, look
what I found, he said here.
And he threw it to me and itwas this old brown bottle.
And I was like man.
What I said looks like.
Look what I found.
He said here.
And he threw it to me and itwas this old brown bottle.
And I was like man.
What I said looks like there'ssome minute and you could shake
it like crazy and maybe a dropof oil would come out.
Well, what it was was an old, antique olive oil bottle.
(16:17):
And I said okay, I'm going togo up here, I'm going to try to
clean this thing up, and I'mscrubbing, I'm scrubbing, I'm
scrubbing, I'm scrubbing, tryingto clean this bottle.
Speaker 1 (16:27):
I was wondering what
you were doing over there.
I was wondering what you weredoing.
Speaker 2 (16:31):
Right there at the
truck wagon yeah.
Speaker 1 (16:34):
I didn't ask you, but
I did wonder what you were
doing.
Speaker 2 (16:38):
I'm getting kind of
aggravated because it's just not
coming as clean as what I wouldthought.
And right then the holy spiritspoke to me and said this
bottle's just like you.
You're not going to get cleanedwith one swipe.
Right, you're going to have towork at it.
You're going to have to work onit where me and you is going to
work on this.
(16:58):
And you know, come on back whenI y'all have to excuse me, I'm
getting a little emotional, butback in the woods when I tried
to.
If you, it's like God said, youremember back in the woods when
he tried to shake the oil outand he said because of all the
junk, the old, the old will notcome out.
(17:19):
But once you get clean, onceyou let me work on you, then the
oil will flow.
And I'm like Lord, I want theoil to flow.
And then from then on,throughout the rest of the
weekend, you know, being able tolay my junk down, being able to
(17:40):
be obedient to what God wantsto do, being able to pray what
the Holy Spirit led on my heartto pray for, then that opened
the door for me to be able topour into other men for the rest
of the weekend.
Speaker 1 (17:48):
And you did that my
brother and especially me.
I certainly appreciate it.
Speaker 2 (17:53):
Oh man, it was
everything that happened.
There is exactly what my wifeprayed for over us before we
left North Augusta on Thursday, and more.
It's amazing Power of prayerand it was just incredible, man.
(18:13):
I mean that story and the wayeverything you know just
choreographed the rest of theweekend.
Speaker 1 (18:21):
Right Reminds me of
Psalm 5110, creating me in a
pure heart, o God, and renewsteadfast spirit within me.
God wants us.
God wants us pure from theinside.
He doesn't care about our outer, outer appearance at all.
I mean, the gospels even sayMatthew 5, 8 said blessed are
the pure in heart, for they willsee God.
(18:41):
James 4, 8 says come near togod and he will come near to you
.
Wash your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts.
That is right there from thisgood book, man, and this is
exactly what we're talking about.
And these are amazing stories, man, and one you touched me, man
.
Remember Remember when theybroke us off and said find
(19:04):
somebody else.
And we came together and I wasjust pouring out my heart to you
about some things that I wasgoing through with me and
Courtney and me and my wife, andyou prayed.
You prayed over me like nobodyhas ever prayed over me and I
really appreciate that man.
You brought me to tears.
(19:24):
You brought the prayed over meand I really appreciate that man
.
You brought me to tears.
You brought the spirit to meand the things, the specific
things we were praying for, issoon, not even five minutes
after I walked out of thebuilding after we broke, my wife
texts me and said I love you somuch.
I'm sitting in the parking lotjust crying and I don't know why
I'm missing.
Love you so much.
(19:44):
I'm sitting in the parking lotjust crying and I don't know why
I'm missing.
Love you so much.
And that, right there, justsolidified everything.
Speaker 2 (19:51):
If I remember
correctly, because you showed me
that text, because, if youremember, Nikita held me back
for five or ten minutes I cameout and you were in tears and
you said, man, you got to seethis text message and, if I'm
remembering correctly it may notbe verbatim, but I'm pretty
close I believe it said I justgot an uncontrollable urge of
(20:13):
missing you.
Yep, I love you and I'm cryingmy eyes out.
Speaker 1 (20:19):
Yep.
Speaker 2 (20:20):
And that is the power
of specific, targeted,
intentional prayers.
It's amazing, brother.
It is so amazing, I think, where so many people get hung up
is well, I pray, but I don't, Ijust don't feel like God's
moving.
I pray, I pray, but what are wepraying, you know?
(20:42):
Is it just words that we thinkof, or do we take the time, like
brother Jeff James told us, youknow, take, take 30 seconds to
just see it and see how the Holyspirit wants us to pray, right,
you know?
Because if not, you know, a lotof times we're just throwing
out empty words there.
And when, when we sit andlisten and know let the holy
(21:09):
spirit speak to us about how weneed to pray or what we need to
pray for, then our prayers lineup with the holy spirit, which
lines up with the will of god, which moves to work in our lives
.
Speaker 1 (21:20):
Absolutely, man
Preach it.
Speaker 2 (21:23):
And um as it's, and
for everybody listening out
there come to God just like youwould your buddy.
Don't try to be overly eloquentwith your words, because God
knows your heart.
I mean, just talk to him.
(21:44):
It's not about being prim andproper and eloquent speech and
all that.
God wants honest, pure andopenness, and he already knows
your heart anyway.
So you might as well just talkto him like you're talking to
your buddy.
Speaker 1 (22:00):
Absolutely, man,
absolutely.
Speaker 2 (22:03):
You know he wants to
be god and he wants to be lord
over your life, yes, but hewants to be your friend he is a
good father and and and, likeyou were talking about the heart
, you know being pure on theinside, and you was reading that
scripture uh, just gettingdownloads left and right.
But what my mind went to is thestory of when Saul was trying
(22:28):
to choose the king of Israel, the first king of Israel, I mean
Samuel, and he's seen Saul, andhe stood head and shoulders
above the rest.
He said, surely this is theking.
And that's when God spoke andsaid you know, god does not see
that with appearance of a man,but god looks at the heart.
Right, and I read one timewhere, like the, the, the mind
(22:55):
or your mind is mentioned likeless than 20 times in the bible,
but your heart is mentionedalmost 900 times.
Speaker 1 (23:02):
Yep.
Speaker 2 (23:04):
So you know, yeah,
it's about being pure and open
and honest, being justvulnerable to God.
Speaker 1 (23:14):
Yep, and with
everything going on in this
world right now the informationwar, and you know, the only way
to see the truth is through Godand um I just want to reiterate
that to our listeners is theonly way to see the truth is
through God.
I mean that's, you know, theonly way to decipher the truth
(23:35):
is through God and the Holyspirit.
And um, especially when there's300,000 things coming at you
every minute, you know, withtechnology, with the fake news,
with, I mean it's, it's, it's,it can be very overwhelming.
I pray for the youngergenerations, because me and you
had it a little bit simpler.
(23:56):
You know, they even had to.
They even had to remind ourparents on a commercial at 10
o'clock, the do you know whereyour kids are?
I mean, we played out, you know, we didn't have these phones,
we didn't sit in front of the TV, we didn't do all that stuff.
And these kids are gettingbombarded and that's a good.
(24:19):
They're being taken advantageof that way and it's a sad
reality.
But if you are, if you'restanding strong in the roots of
jesus christ and your roots aresolid, then, um, the rabbit hole
ain't nothing for you.
I mean it's you have to berooted in christ or or you know
(24:39):
there's a lot of evil out therethat can, that can step in and
swoop you or your kids up.
It's crazy man, it's a crazyworld out there, but but I do
know God is working and you'reliving proof of that.
I believe I'm living proof ofthat.
I believe all the brothers thatthat were at man camp is living
(24:59):
proof of that.
And, man, it's a blessing tohave you on this show man, it
really is.
Speaker 2 (25:06):
And it's so cool, man
, how God works.
Oh yeah, it it, it really is.
Speaker 1 (25:13):
Yup, seasons of
association.
I love it, man, I love it andum, and I mean, you're an
electrician, I'm a salesman, soI mean we don't have a lot in
common there.
But you know, I was told thisby a pastor one time we need
godly men in car sales, we needgodly men electricians.
(25:34):
We need godly plumbers, we needgodly preachers, we need godly
presidents, we need godlypoliticians.
We need, we need godly men morethan anything.
Speaker 2 (25:46):
Well, if you look at
the 12 disciples, not all of
them came from the church either.
Speaker 1 (25:51):
Right, exactly.
Speaker 2 (25:54):
You had fishermen,
you had this, that and the other
Tax collectors yep, you said it, they were from all walks of
life back then.
But you know, what I wantpeople to understand is god's
word.
The bible is not just storiesof long ago.
(26:18):
Right, you know these arelegitimate situations that
happened.
And, being sports minded, youknow, especially with football,
you have a playbook.
You know you study the playbookto know how to run the plays.
Well, God's word is ourplaybook.
Speaker 1 (26:39):
Absolutely.
Speaker 2 (26:41):
If we study the plays
and know how to run the routes,
you know too many times, youknow, in a football aspect, we
try to throw one Hail Mary press.
You know from where we start toget to the touchdown when, in
all reality, all God wants us todo is move the chains.
Speaker 1 (26:59):
Right, absolutely,
absolutely.
Speaker 2 (27:02):
You got four plays to
move the chain.
Yep, you got four plays to movethe chain.
Yeah, In that aspect we'rethird and three.
But because of fear and thespiritual what God wants us to
do, because we don't think we'regood enough, we don't think we
can do it, we don't think we gotwhat it takes, we end up
(27:22):
dropping back and punting onthird and three or fourth and
three, whenever God's sittingthere saying, man, if you would
have just went for it, you wereabout to have your breakthrough.
Speaker 1 (27:33):
Yeah, and you're
right, it's fear.
I mean, we're based in asociety where false evidence is
appearing real, and that's whatfear stands for false evidence
appearing real.
And you couldn't have said itany better, man.
It's, it's the evil one justsitting on your shoulder just
(27:54):
telling you you're not goodenough, when, when God wants you
to know, you're good enough.
But you have to take that walkout on the water.
Right, you gotta take.
You gotta take that walk out onthe water.
You, you got to take that walkout on the water.
You got to have that faith.
Well, Neil, we're coming up onabout 30 minutes.
Man, Do you have anything elseyou want to share before I ask
(28:18):
you to lead us in prayer?
Speaker 2 (28:20):
Yeah, what I want
everybody listening to know is
that, no matter what the enemytells you, whenever God made you
, whenever God formed you inyour mother's womb, he equipped
each and every person withexactly what they need to
fulfill the plan and purpose andwalk the life that he has for
(28:40):
them.
Then, everything that you needto fulfill the plan that god has
in your life, he has alreadygiven you.
We just got to walk in that.
When too many times people say,let me get this straightened
out or let me get thatstraightened out, and then maybe
(29:01):
god can use me, god can use youright where you're at.
God will meet you right whereyou are, quit trying to fix
yourself and allow God to fixyou.
Trust in him, lay yourselfaside.
Quit trying to do it all onyour own and be amazed at what
(29:24):
God can do with an obedientheart.
Speaker 1 (29:29):
Man, those are good
words.
Those are good words.
I had to.
I still have problems with that, my man.
In fact, when me and Nikitatalk, I say all the time, man, I
can't fix this, I can't fixthis.
And he goes Brian, do you hearyourself?
And I'm like like yeah, I keepsaying I and it's not, it's not
(29:52):
up to me to fix, it's up for me,it's up to me to give it away,
to put it at the foot of thecross but before, before we can
truly learn how to stand, we'vegot to learn how to fall, yep,
and and I'm not talking aboutfalling like failing, I'm
talking about learning how tofall flat of our face.
Speaker 2 (30:13):
Humble ourselves
before God, cry out.
Lord, I don't know what to doabout this.
I can't do this on my own.
Lord, you take this, you handlethis.
I trust in you, and then leaveit with him.
Speaker 1 (30:31):
Absolutely,
absolutely, man.
Such good words, man, man, Iappreciate you, brother, more
than you.
Yeah, I mean so, uh, so good,uh, if you would, man, if you
would end us with a word ofprayer, that would be amazing.
I kind of I kind of misshearing you pray, man, because
(30:52):
you were, you were on pointafter you visited the junkyard
and did what you did, man, youreally moved and I saw you move
and, well, you let God move youand I saw it and it was amazing.
So, if you, if you would, man inthis with a word of prayer, and
, man, I just I'm so thankfulfor this friendship, this
(31:16):
brotherhood, and I'm so thankfulthat God allowed me and you to
meet, and as well as all theother guys and all the other
brothers.
I mean, man, camp has been soamazing, and I just want to
shout out to Nikita Koloff andthank you so much for what you
do.
Your ministry is allowing mento grow in God and watching men
grow in God.
It's an amazing thing.
(31:37):

my man.
Speaker 2 (31:41):

emotional-based and it'scircumstantial-based.
We pray for the joy that onlyyou can bring.

(34:35):
Let them feel your armsliterally being wrapped around
them.
Pull them in tight, lord.
Show them grace and show themyour love.

through this podcast.
That you would prepare theirminds and hearts, lord, that you
would work on them and let theHoly Spirit move and reveal in
them an urgency and a need and adesire to go to man camp, even
if they don't understand why, lord, that they would be
(35:20):
obedient and they would followthrough.

and just touch lives, changelives, transform lives, redeem
lives, restore lives, whateveranybody needs.
Lord, that's what we're prayingfor, because we don't know
specifics right now.

(36:02):
You know specifically what eachperson needs.

We pray that you meet themwhere they're at, lord.
Let them know that they don'thave to get themselves to a
certain stage of life before youcan do something with them.
Lord, you'll do something withthem right there, where they're
at, and then you'll get theglory as they grow in you, as
they see what god does in theirlife.
(36:24):
Lord that you'll get the glory.
They'll know that they didn'tdo it because, lord, I know you
didn't do it.
I know I didn't do it in me.
Brian knows you didn't do it inhim.
Lord, you get all the glory.
Father, now, as we exit this andpeople have the rest of their
evenings and their nighttime, lord, we pray protection, we

Lord, just because we felt thisat man camp, it don't have to
stay at man camp.
It don't have to stay at camp.
Little light, lord, we canbring it home, we can let it
yearn, we can get it seeded androoted and planted deep within
our life so that your word andyour Holy Spirit flows out of us
, flows through us.
Lord, we pray for anointing, wepray for your holy anointing,
(37:30):
holy anointing in everythingthat we do.
Lord, give us the discernmentwe need.
Give us the knowledge we needto know which way you want us to
go, where you want us to be,how you want us to do.
Give us the words to speak whenthe opportunity presents itself
.
Lord, we pray for opportunitiesfor doors to be open so that we
can share the gospel withothers.
(37:52):
And, lord, let us not be afraid.

Speaker 2 (38:43):
The power of targeted
, specific, intentional prayer.
Speaker 1 (38:50):
It's amazing, isn't
it?
Yes, and it's that easy.
It's that easy, yeah, and wemake it so hard most times.
Speaker 2 (39:02):
The only thing it
costs us is ourselves.
Yep, yep.
Speaker 1 (39:07):
That's it.
Well, neil, it's been 40minutes, so I'm going to jump
off this thing and I just wantto say I love you, brother, and

Is there anything specific?
The audience can pray for youor I can pray for you.

The audience can pray
for you or I could pray for you
.
Just pray for continued healingand in my wife's life, with her

They're going to check hergallbladder.
We got a good report about theesophagus flap, where your

esophagus meets your stomach, and we got a good report on that
.
And that's a whole nother storythat we could go into when we
don't have time, but justcontinue to pray for her.
Continue to pray that God wouldjust open doors for people to
be ministered to and for theanointing just to keep flowing,
just that his Holy Spiritanointing would just flow, flow,
