Speaker 1 (00:00):
Hey everyone, jack Johnson here, franchise Insiders
with your Franchise InsideScoop for November 18th 2024.
I've got a couple reallyinteresting things for you guys
today.
First of all, I want to talk toyou guys about figure home
equity lines of credit.
I did one of these and I am inno way endorsing them or
affiliated with them, but I justwant to share a cool experience

(00:22):
because people are alwaysasking about funding them or
affiliated with them.
But I just want to share a coolexperience because people are
always asking about funding Umand so I myself tried a figure
home equity line of credit andum, we got it done in, like
honestly, like two weeks it wasdone, um, maybe less and uh,
really fast, all online.
Didn't have to deal with anyoneUh, maybe there was like a
quick phone call of some kindbut like so user-friendly um,

(00:43):
really enjoyed the process.
So for those of you that arewondering about franchise
financing um and thinking abouttapping into equity of your home
figure home equity line ofcredit, figurecom again, I'm not
affiliated with them, um, butjust really enjoyed the
experience.
It's really easy.
You can do it all online.
Um definitely worth looking atif you're thinking about funding

(01:04):
your franchise and you'relooking at SBA loans, 401k
rollovers.
The advantage of the figurehome equity line of credit, if
you have equity in your home, isthat you can have the funds
honestly, they say in as few asfive days.
I think for us it was about atwo-week process, but pretty
fast if you've got home equity,so worth checking out, okay.
Second on my list today I wantto talk to you about a franchise

(01:28):
called Glow 30, g-l-o-3-0.
This is a franchise and I thinkwe may have brought it up in
the past, but I want to comeback to it because it feels very
timely.
It's Glow 30, your perfectfacial every 30 days.
Glow 30 is a doctor foundedmedical spa that offers a unique

(01:50):
membership based model designedto deliver customized facials
every 30 days.
Now, as a franchise ownermyself, with a franchise that
lives off of recurring revenue, right, every week we've got
clients on the job sheet thatare recurring.
We have one gal every week.
We go and clean her windows.
We love recurring revenue.

(02:11):
We love seeing already revenueon the books for next year.
Recurring revenue is awesome,so we love a recurring revenue
model.
Okay, so customized facialsevery 30 days.
At the core of its offerings areminimally invasive and
non-invasive cosmetic treatments, including peels, injectables,
facials, micro micro dermabrasion and light therapy.

(02:35):
Each month, clients receivetailored treatments at no
additional cost, ensuring thattheir skincare routines are
adjusted to their evolving needs.
So this approach enhancescustomer loyalty while providing
ongoing value through regularpersonalized care.
Powered skin analyzer, calledGloria G-L-O-R-I-A but the G-L-O

(03:04):
, of course, is all caps, justlike the Glow 30 brand.
Very consistent, I like it.
This tool measures threeessential skin health
determinants tone, texture andtightness, providing real-time
data that enables highlycustomized treatment plans.
It's founded by Dr Arlene Lamba, and Glow 30 seamlessly blends
medical grade skincare withadvanced technology, offering a

(03:25):
unique and effective solutionfor modern skincare needs.
So it's positioned at theintersection of beauty, wellness
and technology.
I love that Glow 30 isrevolutionized.
It's revolutionizing, excuse me, the skincare industry by
providing accessible, highquality treatments tailored to
each client's individual needs.
Okay, let's break this down.

(03:46):
So why?
Why would we look at glow 30?
It seamlessly blends medicalgrade skincare with advanced
technology, offering a uniqueand effective solution for
modern skincare.
It provides accessible, highquality treatments tailored to
each client's individual needs,and it's doctor-founded medical
spa that offers amembership-based model designed

(04:06):
to deliver customized facialsevery 30 days.
Again, love that.
Love the recurring revenue.
They are looking for someonewith a strong business acumen
when we're talking about who theideal franchisee is here and
the ability to motivate andmanage a team See, that is so
key.
When I talk about what makes asuccessful franchise owner, I

(04:26):
always say you've got to havethe ability to lead a team, to
drive sales and make sure thatyou are getting providing a
great customer service, greatcustomer experience, and, of
course, that's that's not.
It's not last on the list, certainly not last, and they are
hammering that right away.
You've got to be passionateabout personal care and have
great customer service skills.
Um, they're looking for acommunity influencer who seeks

(04:50):
to develop multiple locations intheir local area.
Uh glow 30 was founded in 2012.
They started franchising in2022.
They have two franchiseescurrently operating and five
corporate owned locations.
So they've got corporate stores, which is wonderful, which
means they've proven theirconcept themselves before they
rolled it out to franchiseowners.

(05:10):
They are looking for franchiseowners in Atlanta, boston,
chicago and Miami.
Sound like you.
If so, definitely text me at305-710-0050.
It is not home-based, it is notabsentee, it is semi let's call
it involved, semi-involved.
They say you need to have fiveemployees on staff.

(05:32):
It is not E2 visa friendly.
Franchise fee is $45,000.
We can save you two to $10,000on this franchise, but you got
to text us to find out how much.
Uh, okay, royalties are 6%.
Cash investment is half amillion dollars.
Total investment $600,000 iswhat they're saying on the high
side and they want you to have anet worth of a million dollars.

(05:53):
I mean again, folks, it'sretail, so you definitely want
to have more available forsomething like this.
Um, and I would even say, ifit's me $600,000 to build out a
glow 30, I'd probably want toknow I have access to a little
bit more.
But very unique love therecurring revenue side of glow
30.
Just going to see if there'sanything else here worth

(06:13):
bringing up to you guys.
Uh, the item 19 actually pretty, pretty good, pretty exciting
item 19 that they have here.
They show some, some nicelocations Um, uh, so definitely
this is different.
It stands out Something to lookinto.
Glow 30.
You can go to glow 30.com butif you want to go through me and

(06:34):
get the franchise insidersrebate text 305-710-0050.
Also just want to talk to youguys about a couple of
observations over the past weekas a franchise owner myself.
Wow, you know what's so cool?
I spend so much time talking toyou guys about the hard right,
about how, uh, it's hard tobuild a business, and it is.

(06:54):
It's not easy, it's not foreveryone, but, boy, when it
starts to work and you start togrow and you start to see this
thing really take off, I'll tellyou, um, our pinks franchise is
just getting into that spacenow where it's starting to go to
the next level, where thingsare starting to get more
predictable and, who knows, Imean, is it forever?

(07:15):
I mean, gosh, we've been openeight months but we've kind of
powered through our hard seasonright, hopefully our only hard
season and now things are reallystarting to take off.
So I know I talk so much to youguys about how you've got to be
patient and you've got to beable to power through the hard
to build the easy.
But, boy, once the businessstarts to take off, there's a

(07:36):
couple of things that happen.
One, it's fun to spend, youknow, a portion of your day
depositing checks for yourbusiness.
Two, it's nice that a businessthat you own you don't have to
do all the work.
I'm not saying it's absentee,but I am saying I've got a great
team that's out there hustlingand building and look, the
minute I say this, somebody isgoing to quit and we're going to

(07:56):
hire someone new.
I get that.
But overall, the business isgrowing and we're excited and
it's so fun to see it.
And so for all of you out therethat are franchise owners, just
keep pushing through.
And for those of you that areexploring franchise ownership,
know that if you power throughthe hard to get to the point
where the business really startsto grow, it's more than just

(08:17):
making money.
It is so rewarding.
It's rewarding to win, it'sgreat to be a top performing
franchise owner.
People oftentimes ask me.
They say I want to find mypassion in a business.
Oftentimes ask me, they say Iwant to find my passion in a
business.
I'm here to tell you thatsucceeding and growing a
successful business, you, youwill, you will fulfill your
passion that way.
It is exciting to see your teamgalvanized.

(08:39):
It's exciting to be asuccessful franchisee I mean we
own a window washing franchise,um and to see it grow, uh, the
way that it has, and to be apart of that um has, and to be a
part of that and to have thesupport of the franchise, that's
it's.
It's a wonderful feeling.
So, again, for all of you outthere considering franchise
ownership, just know that if youstick with it, if you follow

(09:01):
the guidance of the franchise,or if you do the right amount of
advertising, that's really key.
By the way, always do more, always do more advertising.
Whatever they tell you, theminimum is, don't just do that.
If you're just going to do theminimum advertising, don't do it
.
You've got to really invest inyour business and advertising is
the lifeblood of your business.
Okay, so today we covered acouple of things.

(09:23):
One it feels really good to winas a franchise owner, and I'd
love to coach you.
By the way, if you want to knowmy secrets, what I do to win as
a franchise owner, text me305-710-0050, or go to
thefranchiseinsiderscom.
You can schedule a meeting andI'd love just to talk to you
about where you're at in yourjourney, even if you're working
with another franchiseconsultant and you just want

(09:45):
another perspective, I'm happyto give it to you, because,
because you know, at the end ofthe day, this is something that
all of us can win together.
Uh, if we have the rightmotivators, and the right
motivators come from people thatare succeeding and growing.
The wrong motivators come frompeople that aren't uh, and I'm
here to be a positive motivatorfor you guys.
So again, text three zero, five, seven.

(10:05):
One zero, zero, zero, five,zero.
Let's get on the books for acall Um, and that's even if
you're an existing franchiseetoo Happy to talk to you, okay.
Second thing is Glow 30.
It's a really cool franchise inthe beauty space.
They've got tech, they've gotAI.

line of credit from Figure.
