Cognitive dissonance. WTF is that? It's the inability to accept new information, regardless of its supporting evidence, simply because it differs from your current dogma.

Let's apply that to "gun control". How can we stop drunk driving deaths? Well, clearly, we can ban all sober people from driving cars. That way, no sober people can be killed by drunk drivers. That's EXACTLY how "gun control" works. Don't agree? Let's talk about it. HOW is that not an accurate comparison? What data can you cite and what evidence can you present? Want to come on the show and discuss it? Let us know.....we'll have ya on the show.

In pivotal issues to our society, we MUST take emotion out of the conversation. Emotions are EASY to manipulate. Logic and rational thought is not.

Also in this episode, we discuss something specific to Tennessee politics as Governor Bill Lee has called for an illegal closed special session of the legislature specifically in an attempt to enact Red Flag Laws -- yet the conversation of Red Flag Laws is NOT, in any way, a state- or city-specific issue.

Be sure to hit us up on Twitter, TikTok, Instagram, and/or send us an email. Hell, maybe we'll have ya on the podcast to have a good conversation.
