I’m bringing back a listener-favorite episode today, and it’s all about relationships!

Sometimes, we bring in past beliefs, habits, and trauma we’ve experienced into new relationships-it can be easy to do so, because that’s what we know, and are used to. I want to dive into how this affects us and our relationships though, because it’s important work we need to do.

In today’s episode, I’m talking about:

-Really digging into what you’re bringing from past relationships into new ones, and how it’s affecting the people in your life

-How to discover what’s upsetting you and/or hurting your feelings in relationships

-Learning to see people as actual people, and not lumping them into a certain category

-Why you need to take ownership of where you are and make positive changes moving forward

Honestly, it all starts with you, and the work you have to do on yourself-no one is going to do that for you. Once you’re aware of this, you’re able to make different (and better) choices for your future. I want you to create more self-confidence and self-love, because this will lead to you having some truly awesome relationships in your life that you deserve!

Join me on this podcast as I navigate the murky waters of human behavior, current events, and personal anecdotes through in-depth interviews with incredible people—all served with a generous helping of sarcasm and satire. After years as a forensic and clinical psychologist, I offer a unique interview style and a low tolerance for bullshit, quickly steering conversations toward depth and darkness. I honor the seriousness while also appreciating wit. I’m your guide through the twisted labyrinth of the human psyche, armed with dark humor and biting wit.
