The Garlic Boys

This was recored at 8 in the morning, when each guy had either 0-4 hours of sleep, so the energy levels are a bit all over the place for the boys this week. So enjoy this sleep deprived episode full of them discussing name spellings and changes, Connor got birthday presents, and the boys talk about movies based on books.

These white boys are tackling their worst fear this week and are discussing their spice tolerance when it comes to food. Matt informs Connor about books he's been reading that were self published and Connor shows him some books he's found too. Connor then shows off his shelf of stuff, while Matt has ADHD additions to the conversation (and we love him for it). ...

The boys discuss their options how Pokemon has changed and how their Pokemon play has changed over the years. Then, Connor tells tale of his bachelor party and surprise wedding that happened over the last two weeks. Finally, boys talk about which Pokemon they would have on their real life teams and Connor as a special Father's Day send off for Matt.

While they didn't realize it when they started talking about why they haven't kissed, the boys do kick off pride month with talking about their sexualities. They then move on to Ghostbusters 2 and more of Rick Moranis' incredible career. They then speak on. the special effects of Ghostbusters, and then they end the show with Matt finally having seen The Thunderbolts*.

I'm gonna be honest, the Boys screwed up on this one. Not only is the episode late, but the Boys were talking about things like Gorilla feet, Oblivion remastered....again?, and the sterilization of men with.........heat. There you go. That's about it. This is what you get when you have two sleep-deprived and pneumonia-ridden Boys stuck in a warehouse in the early hours of the morning. They really should have a disclaimer at the beg...

As a way to keep things fresh here, Connor gives Matt improv lessons throughout this episode to help him get more comfortable with the mission. In between these scenes, Matt rants about donuts, lock picking in games, and does another breakdown of Epic the Musical. Connor also shares the glory of Popeyes Pickle Menu with Matt.

It just bears repeating that this is a comedy podcast and these are all jokes. That being said, Connor has beef with RFK Jr., Matt learns of of Reeses' new product, and the boys have a discourse on Easter. Matt then laments on his dry spell of playing TTRPGS. The show is closed out with Matt posing a possible posturer problem.

It's 4 AM and the Boys have me trapped in a warehouse because neither of them wanted to upload this podcast, I guess. I didn't even get to listen to the podcast first. They just said something about Lego sets with no mini figures or something like that. Matt then proceeded to torture me with his "directing" ideas while dressed as... Mother Teresa, I guess? They told me if this episode didn't do well, they were going to...subject me...

This week the boys take time to consider taking up secondary jobs to make extra money, the coolness and complaints about the new Switch 2 announcement and how some people choose to use the chapel. Connor then asks the hard hitting questions about the Cars' universe. The Boys also do a memorial for Val Kilmer, prompting the boys to discuss the flaws in immortality.
