The anniversary of the Los Angeles Riots has just recently passed. I take a look back at my memories and effects the riots had on me and the city at large. Also, at how little attention the then president of the United States couldn’t be bother with it.

As part of the new direction, we will be discussing the 30th anniversary of the Oklahoma City Bombing and remind people that the 90’s weren’t as cool and awesome as they think.

I know what I said before about giving this up, but I had a change of heart. Taking it a different direction from here on out, but this will be the official second season of the show.

As someone that grew up in the late seventies to early eighties, evangelical Christianity was having a huge boom. However, I decided to study the whole Revelations end time prophesy. I considered myself a “defective Christian” because I couldn’t turn off my logical brain in regards to these end of the world predictions.

As we venture into our holiday season, you can expect that a certain group feeling oppressed will begin telling you how much they are. This “War on Christmas” may seem as an invention by Fox News in the early 2000s, it goes further than that.

Introducing "Great American Sh*t Show"!

I know it’s kind of late, and I originally had it planned for October 30, but that got away from me. Nevertheless, it is out ON Halloween. The Origins of Halloween. It has been touted by evangelical Christians as a “satanic day”, where demons are celebrated. That isn’t the case.

As Halloween is approaching, I thought it would be a great time to get into two topics I enjoy: the Satanic Panic and the Origins of Halloween. This week, will be about the former. We won’t be focusing on element of the cause but the overall climate of the United States at the time. Why it took hold. A novel gets a lot of credit for starting it, but it was more of a match that was lit next to a bale of hay.

 It was 35 years ago this week, when a major earthquake struck the San Francisco Bay area at the opening of game 3 of the World Series between the Oakland A’s and the San Francisco Giants. Many people got to see it happen live on television.

If you’ve listened to this show before, the title may seem familiar but it’s an entirely new episode. Wondering why every generation hates on the newest one? It isn’t something new.
