The New York Times revealed that the US has been significantly involved in Ukraine's wartime strategies, establishing high-tech command-and-control spy centers in the country well before the Russian invasion in 2022. This involvement, which began a decade ago under three different US presidents, has transformed Ukraine into one of Washington's key intelligence partners against the Kremlin. The CIA's efforts included training Ukrainian intelligence officers, constructing 12 secret bases along the Russian border, and enabling Ukraine to launch and monitor cross-border drone and missile attacks on Russian territory.
