In this encore episode, author Marlita Hill shows us how to distinguish God's direction while making major career decisions.
Choreographer, author and educator Marlita Hill has travelled that road, and she has learned some valuable lessons that she now shares with artists, creatives and fellow believers.
Marlita has served God as a choreographer and dance educator in the church and marketplace for over twenty years. Her work includes providing master classes and residencies for colleges, leading workshops, and mentoring artists internationally.
She has authored three books on the relationship between faith and art, including her latest, Defying Discord, which explores how the "secular" art career serves, builds and represents the Kingdom. Her books have been used as textbooks for college ministry courses, bible studies, and dance ministries.
In this episode, you'll learn how she began her career in dance by discerning God's voice, and how she maintained her faith despite huge obstacles. You'll see how you too can lean on God's leading even as you pursue your creative dream in the mainstream arts and entertainment industry - and thrive no matter the circumstances.
