Golf and North Dakota State athletics were the two staples in the life of John Mark, who passed away last Sunday at the age of 83. He was a longtime member of the USGA Junior Committee and was largely responsible for the Fargo Country Club landing the 1995 USGA Junior Amateur. Mark was involved with the Bobcat North Dakota Open since the tournament's inception in 1964 and was a master rules official with his USGA involvement.
