Remember, a like or a follow does not equal a sale, and social media does not validate your own worth as a craftsman. It's important to have self-esteem and not rely on these social engines to make or break you, and I try to outline what is happening with these platforms in the context of knifemaking to help shed some light on why it's really a losing battle to invest too much of yourself in a medium that matters very little.
