Scott Miller - Purpose over profit, and the freedom machine

Scott Miller wasn't far into his corporate career when he decided that working in big oil wasn't for him.
 
Coming from a family of entrepreneurs, he was destined to follow in their footsteps climbing the corporate ladder,  business was the mantra, but it quickly became clear that his personal values didn't align, and so he jumped ship (or rig?) perusing study in the healthcare industry

Since then, Scott been on an inspiring  journey of healthcare, leading to philanthropic roles and leading volunteers,  which has confirmed instincts, and unveiled the importance of the person questions around life purpose.

Scott is now the CEO of Freedom Solutions is a volunteer led community of makers that come together to solve problems in people lives, particularly those with disability, and that can't be solved by a commercial solution.
They've been providing solutions for over 45 years to members of the community who need customised aids to help them improve their quality of life

The volunteers are people like engineers and tinkerers, who love designing things, and who want to help out those in need.

All disability is different, and so custom modifications to currently existing aids and tools gives the recipient something that suits them both practically and also fits their lifestyle.

Freedom Solutions are championing the importance of quality of life, and while some of the amazing custom aids are created for essential function like mobility, others are created to help a person get back into their hobbies after they became disabled.

It's important that recipient is happy with both form and function.
After all, it's made just for them

Scott has a huge heart, and you can see when he talks that this means an incredible amount to him.
