the show that is out on the 15thactually kind of evolved from a
lot of what we do on a Wednesday.

that and probably imagine a few years ago before we'd started
doing this Wednesday show, we would never dreamt of being able

Of this whole show and I think that's that for me is is one of
the real things about what we'regoing to get on a chat about

If you go to Walt Disney World tomorrow, everything's more
expensive. There you go.
I think that's that's the only way I could only way I could
describe it, $35. Oh, we've had a discussion about

tonight. We've had to work out.
Do we justify booking a night onsite using DVC points to get
around the extra costs in parking that we would have paid
if we're doing a day and then then we have a little resort day
as well There's. A little bit.
There's a little bit. Of there's a bit of sort of like
I can use. Page meeting to be.

I've got these DVC points, shallI use them for that than
actually getting rocking up between $35 for a day and.
Then there's the sort of, well, if we're going to do that, we
might as well make sure it's on an an evening when there's extra
evening out so we can get even more time.
Yeah, so. I think one of the things Sir,
if you end end up using DVC points to actually pay for the

park and you're. Like, oh, here's five points 1.
Of them things, I think you feelit's really funny because you
actually look on social socials today and everyone's like, oh,
disgraceful, disgusting this other, but actually it doesn't
stop many people from going. It's the same every year, twice

a year in. Fact.
How long before Universe? How long before Universal?
Up there is parking because they're 30th I reckon.
Yeah, I thought they were. I thought there were 35 already.
You know, I thought there were 30, but universal. 35.
Yeah, in in Disneyland it's $40.Yeah, safe like.

It's pretty good. Yeah, it's something you just
regardless of when you, you planyour trip, you put it into your
budget putting your spreadsheet and go like that's going to cost
me $40 a day unless I'm certain on site or.
Might be cheaper to get an Uber.I think that was the
compensation. There's a fine line.
This summer we got Ubers into the park, mainly because it

meant that I got to have a few beers, right?
But if you get an Uber in and anUber out to the area was
sounding at 192, it was cheaper than parking.
Right, right. That's no greater than.
So now they put that price up unless Uber put their prices on
Uber or Lyft, I hasten to add, because we use Lyft and unless

they put their prices up, it's actually, it is going to be that
bit of like, well, actually, yeah, yeah, you're not getting
the money from. The I can.
Spend more money on beer, they jump.
They're going to get the cash somehow.
I don't know. I, you know, but I think we'll
around spend $35 on beer then we.
Would I would rather give them money for beer than money for
parking? Let's.

And also also money for a bottleof water for it's like $7.00 for
a spot water now don't do that because it was 650 in the
summer. If it's gone up tomorrow $7.00.
Don't do it, don't buy it. It's going to freeze free water.
Free water. If you want bottled water, buy
it from Walmart, Publix, or Target.
It's going to be a lot cheaper. You're going to do it that way.
Every year we have this conversation.

People go moan about the price hikes and then they they book
their next trip. I don't know.
I have change. No, no.
What the, what the that threshold would ever be for
people to go. I'm not going.
There will be some people unfortunately who it does price
out of the market who might haveto go.
Well, we're not going to go nextyear.
We're going to go year after. We're going to have to stay for

an extra 6 months or whatever. Or do people change a trip?
Do people want? Reduce their days.
Or I I remember the days that wewould always do every trip would
be a Universal and Disney trip. Actually, going forward, that's
not going to happen. I just think that Wendy's nailed
it. I think it's actually superb.

Yeah. So we, yeah, we love Disney, but

we still pay the price. And actually we just have to
whine about it a little. And actually, yeah, just so I've
seen Wendy's comment, but also abig hike to surf.

What I like is when Disney do these price rises on the same

day, they announced something slightly more positive.
So it's just like, OK, here's here's something positive,
here's the price in Greece. But yeah, they they have
announced the opening date for Zootopia Better Zoo Gather,
which opens to the public on the7th of November with previews on
the 5th and 6th pass holders. So that's going to be
interesting. You're going to be out there in

December, Claire. Will you be OK?
Yeah. Why not something new?
I always try something new. It can't be any worse than It's
tough to be a bug. Yeah, we can't be, having never
done it. We never did it, but I have to
have been listening to the soundtrack and just.

announced today, which made me giggle slightly, was that all
the festival booths are now contactless.
Only there isn't. Cash you.
Can't pay the cash at any of thefestival booths from it
literally appeared over that so if.
You have got cash, you can go. Go buy a gift card, which is

what we talked about recently actually is buying a gift card
and using that. So yeah, yeah, don't, don't take
your notes. They won't be accepted.
See, I have to know we took $100cash for this this trip and does
not I have. To pay, how much did you use?
Well, I think we did a lot of his tips when we were with
family. Other than that, that was it.

I've been. Taking the same $250 backwards
and forwards for the last two years.
I haven't, I haven't, yeah. I just haven't used cash because
like when you're paying on the app, if you're mobile or
ordering or stuff that is done on the app and, you know,
otherwise it's just, you know, it's so it's painful, but you
get the bill later. But it's so easy just to Apple.

Pay or that, that's the bit thatgets me about paying by car all
the time. It's the you don't know what
it's happening. Yeah.
Exactly, that's why they do it. And that's why it's on the
that's why I thought the magic band was ideal, especially
you're on site each part you seeyour room and everything.
But it was interesting about Magic band.
They've changed it. Not not that now, but they have

now removed any discounts for booking the pre arrival magic
band for hotel guests and landedpass holders.
So now you got paid. If you want your magic band,
it's now full price. Yeah.
But you know, I think, I think having a casual system, they're
assuming that's going to be quicker.
It's less risk. It's you know, I don't think, as
I say, I haven't used cash. It is the way.

Other than at the. Bar.
That's the only time I use cash is for bar ticking, and even
then that's unusual because often they'll just add it onto
the thing. Yeah, let's send the chat when
you're at Disney, Dee's cash or Dee's card or contact us.
But I can't remember the last time that I was in Disney, and
especially this summer that whenyou buy merchandise, I just open

the app and scan the. Mobile mobile check out.
Yeah, because it's great becauseI like to be able to see it
automatically adds them a discount so I can see how much
it is spending. It just becomes, it just becomes
another line on your card bill and you've got no idea how much
you're spending. But that's the whole point.
And I think the last time I usedcash and Disney was when I gave

Morgan. So that would have been nearly,
you know, 18 months ago. I gave Morgan all the cash that
I had in my wallet before I leftwhen he was there on program.
I'd taken him out and I left himthere.
I was like, have you got any cash?
He's like, so I literally went through my wallet and I kept 20
bucks, but gave him everything Ihad and he used it.
Funnily enough, he was able to make use of the cash.
But yeah, I just, I think it's, it's, it was a long time coming.

I'm surprised it's taking this long to be honest with.
You. If it makes the queues go
quicker around the festival booths, I'm all up for that.
I think that's it's very possibly the reason why.

this last week. And actually I felt it was a

really it just came too late forthe show last week.
And actually, it's the death of Jane Goodall, who's a friend of
Animal Kingdom and actually someone who guided Joe Rodi with
just with her exploration of thelives of chimpanzees in
Tanzania. Absolutely amazing the reaction
not just from the Disney community, but from the wider

community to acknowledge her role.
And I just thought it'd be a little bit remiss of us to
actually not mention that because actually such a such a
such an absolutely incredible sort of proponent of of the
lives of animals and actually the study of chimpanzees can't

speak highly enough of her. That was one bit.
Spaceship Earth reopens October 25th I.

I don't know what they were doing.
Maybe they're like taping up thebit of cloth that's torn above

River Rapids is now closed untilDecember for its annual refurb.
I don't know about you guys. I wouldn't be writing it in
December anyway. Again, I think is that is that

March with dinosaur closing in February, yeah.
So everyone wants to go and rideit in January.

more permits have been issued, but possibly the reason why is

that maybe with restaurants or hours closing, I think that what
they're doing is maybe just looking at the food options.
I'm just, I'm reading into why the permits are being issued.
I'm not, I'm not clever enough to actually read the permits and
see what exactly is planned. But I think that seems to be
they just want additional food outlets.
And actually when Harambee Market actually first opened,

there was a cracking selection of different foods.
And what I really noticed this this year was the fact that that
selection isn't there everywhere.
Everywhere just said that it's just basically 3.
Windows. And this all the same stuff.
It reminds me of when they changed cosmic rays and you used
to have like the three differentoptions and some of this
something, some of the other andthey it's exactly what they've

done there. They've just made it generic
across the board. The thing about it, and I love
Harambee marketplace and I thinkthere are some really good food
things around that area because you've got the Ku safari bakery
as well, which is great for breakfast, but it sucks at
lunchtime and I just think thereis nowhere in the shade to sit.
So if you're there in the summer, you know, they've got
some great food options, but you, you can't sit anywhere

because you melt. So, you know, I think it would
be good if they maybe put up some awning or something just to
give some shade. Just a little bit like what
they've done in Hollywood studios with Woody's lunch box.
They feel they've realized like,oh, people are melting in the
summer, we need to do something about it.
Took them. It took them long enough to do
that. So goodness knows how long

that's going to take an animal Kingdom, you know?
I think, I think the new thing. Dinosaur will be open as indie
before. That, yeah, possibly nothing to
bear in mind if you'd never beento that part of Animal Kingdom
which some people miss. Do look on the walls as you're
walking in and whilst you're inside there are some amazing
bits, a little bit of artwork here and there, a little bit

hidden Mickeys. There's there's some really
brilliant, just little little Disney esque things to see well
worth well worth going to last bit of news.

yeah, Stardust races have reopened at Universal.

about what we're going to talk about, whether is it something
you do for the ride or is it something you do for the

we just heard Queen music being played and it was just like, OK,
was this like something that might be coming future?

snippets of them. Killer Queen would be brilliant.
I just think that there's so many things that The Muppets
could do and actually I'd like it if you had The Muppets or the
Moop hits doing it, which would also be fun.
But I think then taking on something some amazing, you

know, characteristic band like Queen would be incredible
because it, it keeps that, that theme of, you know, rock'n'roll,
yeah. Or at least, you know, really
high quality music. It makes them keep the guitar
outside as well, yes. Yes, just need to add 1.

Me to play with rock music in general, but you could be.
Animal and it would just, it would absolutely.
I'm gonna do on that. I would go for Animal if you
went for any any Queen song. If you went for Bohemian
Rhapsody, could we not have a reenactation of I just like
that? That would be.
That would be so brilliant. It's kind of magic would be

amazing on that coast, and there's so many classic Queen
songs that would be the right pace and fun level and
excitement and I think it would be amazing.
So, Disney, if you're listening,yeah, please do that.

I actually can't think of it. You've now sold me some queen

And actually, that would be one that The Muppets could do as

Queen's got such a massive back catalog of, of music that would
be so easy to, to compile and you'd get a different ride every
time. Whereas I think, you know, the
Rock'n'roll coaster has been amazing.
And, you know, everyone loved itwhen you got love in an elevator
and that that section of the ride and it was like a wing
moment and it didn't happen every time.
And I just think that that wouldbe, it would, there's so many

great songs. You'd come off singing it.
It would be in the back of your mind for the rest of the day,
which, you know, that's the point of that poster, isn't it,
is to eject music and you'll, and you could keep the exit.
Yeah, the bit, the exit area where you come off and there's
all the lights and you're there.I love that.
But I think it's one of the bestexit set platforms for any

attraction. I I actually feel that it's the
type of refurb that they need todo properly.
And actually I don't think they they basically just need to do
the soundtrack and the pre and the pre show.
Most of the other stuff can juststay exactly the setting.
I'd quite like it if they fixed the attraction so it didn't

(29:21):
break every two minutes. You know, yeah, well, that's
that goes without saying. Yeah, we don't know.
It's like newly themed fried closes every six months for six
month refurb. It's not or closes every day
because actually something doesn't work properly.
Yeah, which is really frustrating.
But with the opening, well, we know it's opening in summer, so

it's going to be interesting to see how far along they are in
