But before she can sport that cute new top, she's suited up in her cute lil' marching band uniform, ready to perform with her closest gal pals in the Hazelwood Homecoming parade. As she rounds the corner, she hears her biggest cheerleader shouting, screaming, jumping in the air with excitement. Her Mom. It's the beginning of another fun homecoming weekend until things take an unexpected turn for the worst. This is Rashida's story about loosing her Mom at 15 years old and how that has shaped her into the Motherless Mom she is today.
