Speaker 1 (01:04):
We're back.
We are on podcast number 11.
Last week we took a little bitof a break from Power of the
Subconscious Mind.
We went to Gratitude and nowwe're back to Power of the
Subconscious Mind.
We are on chapter two, page 37.
We're going to be doing areview of the chapter and close

(01:27):
out chapter two today.
Let's go to the book Think good, and good follows.
Think evil, and evil follows.
You are what you think about allday long.
Let's pause for a second.
Earl Nightingale did anincredible recording called the

(01:48):
Greatest Secret, and theGreatest Secret is what they
just mentioned here, which isyou become what you think about
all day long and what mostpeople don't do, and ask
yourself this question do you doit?
Do you pay attention to whatyou're thinking about
consistently or does it go on anautopilot?
What we want to do is againstart paying attention, because

(02:12):
what you're going to find isthere's an indicator.
We have.
That indicator is how are wefeeling?
So if you just check in withyourself at any moment, you say
how am I feeling?
If you're feeling good, that'sgreat.
That's telling you that you'rehaving some really good thoughts
, because the thoughts alwaysprecede the feelings.

(02:32):
So that gives you a greatindication that continue what
you're doing, because if we'refeeling depressed down, worried,
upset, anxious, any of thosenegative feelings that we don't

(02:54):
want to be feeling, it's aguarantee that our thoughts are
going in a way that theyshouldn't be.
So again, what we're startingto pay attention to now is what
am I thinking about?
And if we are having 65,000thoughts per day, which is a lot
of thoughts, it would be verychallenging to try to track

(03:17):
those 65,000 thoughts.
Think about that.
All these thoughts are flowingthrough your mind.
How would you be able to payattention to that?
The easy way to do that againis not focus on the thoughts.
Focus on what am I feeling nowand again, if you're feeling
good, that means your thoughtsare good, and if you're feeling

(03:38):
not so good, that means yourthoughts are off base.
So when you notice that you'renot feeling good, then what do
you do?
Just shift your line ofthinking.
Let's use an example.
I'm feeling anxious.
I'm driving in my car and assoon as I start to think about

(03:58):
the anxiousness that I'm feeling, I ask myself what is it that
I'm thinking about?
And then I noticed that I'mthinking about an event that's
coming up and I'm a littlenervous about how it's going to
unfold and I'm thinking thesethoughts and they're leading me
into that negative thoughtprocess.
What would you do when yourealize you're in that situation
?
It's really simple we justshift the way we're thinking.

(04:20):
Instead of me thinking aboutthat upcoming event in a
negative way, I may say tomyself hey, what am I so
grateful for?
And focus on the gratitude ofthe fact that I'm going to be
having this event.
Maybe I would also think tomyself how do I know that I'm so
prepared for this upcomingevent?
In other words, I'm askingmyself a question that's going

(04:41):
to prompt my subconscious mindto look for specific answers
that are positive, because I'masking a question that's going
to lead to a positive response.
This is also another importantthing to consider.
Our mind, again, works likeGoogle, so whatever question we
ask and a lot of our thoughtsare questions.

(05:03):
Example why don't I have moremoney in my bank account?
If I ask that question, what doyou think the subconscious mind
is going to search for?
If it's like Google, it's goingto search for answers to that
question, so it's going to lookfor negatives.
In.
Another way of doing it is Ican ask myself the question what

(05:25):
am I grateful for in thissituation?
And when I ask that question, what is my subconscious mind,
the Google that's inside of me,what is it going to search for?
It's going to search forpositive answers.
So, again, there are these toolsthat we have, the questions
that we're going to askourselves, the tool of paying
attention to the feeling thatI'm having and, based on that

(05:48):
feeling, it's going to tell mewhat thoughts are going through
my mind.
And so, when I notice that I'mnot feeling good, I switch it, I
switch the line of thoughts.
I ask myself a new question.
One of the best questions youcould ever ask yourself when
you're not feeling good is whatam I grateful for right now, in
this moment?
And I guarantee you, when youask that question to the Google

(06:10):
inside of us, what answer isgoing to be displayed.
An answer is going to besomething that you're grateful
for.
And when you start focusing onwhat you're grateful for, how do
you think you're going to feel?
And, of course, you're going tofeel better.
So, again, these are tools.
You have them in your tool beltand you use them when you
realize and when you becomeaware that you're off center.

(06:32):
Make sense.
Perfect, let's go on.
Let's move on to the next one, number two your subconscious
mind does not argue with you.
It accepts what your consciousmind decrees.
If you say I can't afford it,it may be true, but don't say it
Select a better thought decree,I'll buy it.

(06:54):
I accept it in my mind.
All right, let's pause for asecond.
Here your subconscious mindwon't argue with you.
So again, think of yoursubconscious mind, that deep
part of your mind.
Whatever you're thinkingconsistently will go directly
into the subconscious mind, andwhen it goes in there, the

(07:16):
subconscious mind's job is tomake sure that you get more of
what you're planting in it.
So, whatever you're thinkingconsistently, whatever you're
planting in, you're going to getmore of that to experience.
So here, when it's saying Ican't afford it, if you say that
to yourself, I can't afford toget that, car I can't afford to

(07:37):
do that right now, let me askyou a question what do you think
would be a better thing to say?
It may be true that right nowin your bank account, you don't
really have the money to go outand buy that thing, and it would
make sense not to do it at themoment.
However, instead of saying toyour subconscious mind I can't
afford it.
What do you think would be abetter thought for you to have,

(08:01):
perhaps, instead of saying Ican't afford it is you know what
?
Right now, I'm not going to getit, I don't want it at this
moment.
So, by changing that directiveto, your subconscious mind now
understands oh okay, I justdon't want it right now.
It's not that I can't afford it,because if you tell it that you
can't afford it, what do youthink your subconscious mind's

(08:23):
going to do?
It's going to give you morethings in your life that you
can't afford, and that samethought process is going to
continue and you're going tonotice more and more things that
you lack in your life.
All because that's the seedthat you're planting in your
subconscious mind.
Does this make sense?
You really have a lot ofcontrol here, and the control is

(09:22):
what am I planting in thegarden?
There's that beautiful gardenright there.
It's your garden and you choosewhat to plant in it.
If you have this beautifulgarden that has carrots and it
has broccoli and all thesethings that you really like,
you're not going to plant badthings in there, but we do that
all day long in our subconsciousmind, that garden that's inside

(09:45):
of us that will grow whateverwe're planting in it.
So our job is to notice whenwe're not feeling so good and
then think of our thoughts thatwe're thinking about, shift them
and start planting those seedsthat we want in our subconscious
mind.
That's where we do have control.
You have absolute control overhow you feel.

(10:08):
At any moment, you can changeit.
You're not stuck feelinganxious.
You're not stuck feelingworried.
You're not stuck feelingdepressed.
The only reason you're going tocontinue to feel those ways is
if you continue to think thesame way that you've been
thinking and continue to speakthe same way that you've been
speaking and continue to speakthe same way that you've been

(10:28):
speaking.
A very good way to again noticewhat you're thinking about is
notice what am I saying out loudto other people?
If I'm saying I can't affordthis, if I'm saying these
negative things, then I knowthis is what's in my mind, this
is what I'm thinking about and Ineed to start changing it Again
.
Remember, you can always askthis question what am I grateful

(10:51):
for in this situation?
So imagine that you go.
You look at this beautiful car.
It's something that you wouldreally like to get, but in your
mind you had been saying I can'tafford it.
So you change that to hey, right now I don't want to get
that.
And here's the question.
You can ask what am I gratefulfor in this situation?
And then you listen to whatyou're grateful for.

(11:13):
I'm grateful that I have theability to get over here to look
at this new car.
I have a car that currentlyworks.
I have a car that gets me backand forth.
I have the ability to fill upthe car with fuel.
I have the ability to get fuelthe car with fuel.
I have the ability to get fuelto fill up in my tank.
There is a million things thatwe can be grateful for, and when

(11:34):
we start realizing how muchthere is to be grateful for,
what do you think is going tohappen to our mindset?
Is it going to be more negative, is it going to be more
positive?
And, of course, it's going tobe more positive.
So these are the tools that wehave at our disposal.
The question is am I going touse the tool Now?
If I have a hammer and I haveall these nails that I want to

(11:55):
hammer into the wall, if I don'tuse the hammer, what's the
likelihood that those nails aregoing to be hammered into the
wall.
It's not very good.
So I have to choose.
I have to make a choice and sayI'm taking this hammer and I'm
going to hammer those nails intothe wall, and it's the same
thing with us.
We have to make the choice andsay I have this tool to speak in
a way that I want to think, ina way that I want to be grateful

(12:18):
, in a way that I want to, andthose are things that I'm
choosing to do, and when youchoose to do that, your life
experience will completelychange.
All right, let's go back to thebook, and it's interesting
because we're going to numberthree and it's just talking
about what we just said, whichis that power to choose.
So here is what it says youthat's you listening in right

(12:45):
now, sitting in your car, at thegym, wherever you are.
If you're hearing this message, there's a reason and purpose
for it.
Here's what it says you havethe power to choose.
You can choose health andhappiness.
You can choose to be friendlyor you can choose to be
unfriendly.
You can choose to cooperatejoyous, friendly, lovable, and
the whole world will respond.

(13:06):
This is the best way to developa wonderful personality.
So, again, we have a choice, and I want to point you back to
what I just said a little whileago.
The way that we realize thatwe're off base is by how we're
feeling in the moment.
If we're feeling positive, great, do more of the same,

(13:27):
because you're right on track.
If you're feeling negative, noworries.
Pick out one of the tools, takeout your hammer and hammer
those nails into the wall.
Focus on gratitude.
I'm choosing now to focus ongratitude.
I'm going to think what am Igrateful for right now in my
life?
Why am I so grateful for myhealth?

(13:48):
Why am I so grateful for myfamily?
Why am I so grateful foranything else that you have in
your life?
It doesn't matter what it is.
Ask that question and I promiseyou'll get an answer, and when
you focus on that, you're goingto get more of it.
So, again, you have the powerto choose, and that is your
choice.
That is your power.

(14:10):
We don't have the power oversome of the events that occur in
our life.
Something may happen, somethingyou don't like.
That's an event, and we don'thave the power to choose all the
time over these events thatshow up.
However, what we do have thepower to do is choose how we're

(14:31):
going to respond to that eventand, based on how we respond to
that event, it's going todetermine our outcome.
Again, we have an event thatoccurs.
Let's use an example.
We have an event that occurs.
I find out that someone was in acar accident.
This is bad news.
This is clearly not a goodthing and it could potentially

(14:53):
really upset us.
That's the event Someone getsin a car accident.
The response is everything.
I can get myself all anxiousand all worried, or I can ask
myself a different question.
I found out they were anaccident, they were hurt, but
they're okay.
What's a question that I canask myself right now that's
going to lead me down a positivepath?

(15:15):
Wow, why am I so grateful thatthey're okay?
How lucky am I?
It could have been a completelydifferent phone call.
I could have received a phonecall that said this person died
in the car accident.
However, they're hurt and it'supsetting, but at the same time,
I'm super grateful that they'reokay.

(15:36):
And then we go down the path ofgratitude.
This is our power to choose andthis is what we do on a
consistent basis, and when weuse this power, which again is
our power to respond, how am Igoing to respond to any event
that occurs in my life?
And I choose to respond from aplace of gratitude, then your

(15:59):
outcome is going to becompletely different than it
would be if you chose to respondfrom a place of negativity.
Get it Got it, good, let's goon to the next one, number four
your conscious mind is thewatchman at the gate.
Its chief function is toprotect your subconscious mind

(16:21):
from false impressions.
Choose to believe thatsomething good can happen and is
happening now.
Your greatest powers and yourcapacity to choose happiness and
abundance.
This, again, is our ability.
This is our ability to choose.
What is our response going tobe in this situation?
And when it says your consciousmind, this is your thinking mind

(16:44):
, this is the mind that you canchoose to have, think in a
specific way.
This is the mind you can chooseto think from a place of
gratitude.
That conscious mind is thewatchman at the gate.
That conscious mind acts likethe virus software that's on
your computer.
It protects negative thoughtsfrom coming in.

(17:05):
So it can also not protect youif you allow your mind to do
what it does, which is go off inits own direction of negativity
.
If you allow it to focus on thenegative, it's going to do that
.
It's going to go into thesubconscious mind, it's going to
create all these falseimpressions and we're not going
to feel good Again.

(17:26):
We have the power to choosewhat our response is going to be
in any situation, and thequestion is what's your response
going to be?
Think right now for one moment, think about something that's
been bothering you, somethingthat you're not happy about
currently in your life.
And now I want you to askyourself this question why can
you be grateful that you're inthat situation right now?

(17:49):
Why can you be grateful thatyou don't have that thing that
you really want in your liferight now?
What's the gratitude behind it?
And I really want you to thinkabout that and I really want you
to answer that question, because when you answer that
question, your mind is going togo in a completely different
path.
Perfect, let's go back to thebook.
We're up to number five here.

(18:10):
The suggestions and statementsof others have no power to hurt
you.
The suggestions and statementsof others have no power to hurt
you.
The only power is the movementof your own thought.
You can choose to reject thethoughts or statements of others
and affirm the good.
You have the power to choosehow you will react.

(18:32):
And instead of saying how youwill react, what I would say
again is how are you choosing torespond?
Someone says something negativeto you, and how are you choosing
to respond?
Someone says something negativeto you, and how are you
choosing to respond to that?
Let's say someone sayssomething negative to you, what
about choosing to respond fromthis place?

(18:53):
You don't say anything back andyou say I'm going to practice
right now pretending that I amso strong and powerful that I've
literally set up a force fieldto block out that negative
statement from coming in.
And we have that abilitybecause our response to that
situation, how we're going torespond, is everything.

(19:14):
And we can choose to respondfrom that place or we can choose
to respond from this place.
They're right.
What's wrong with me?
I am stupid, I am a bad person.
And if we say that and we plantthose seeds in the subconscious
mind, what are we going to getmore of?
More negativity, more feelinganxious, more feeling bad, more

(19:35):
feeling worried, more feelingdepressed.
And it's you that's causingthat.
And again, you didn't know itup until we started listening to
this podcast.
But the only cause of that ishow you're choosing to respond
to a situation, and yourresponse can change by the way
you change your thinking aboutit or the questions that you're

(19:59):
asking about it, because athought is also a question.
A thought can be a question.
Many of your thoughts arequestions that you're asking
yourself.
So again, what am I gratefulfor in this situation?
Ask yourself that question andyou're going to get a very
different response and you'regoing to get a very different
outcome.
Outcome Perfect.

(20:27):
Let's go on to number six.
Watch what you say.
You have to account for everyidle word.
Never say I will fail.
Never say I will lose my job.
Never say I can't pay the rent.
Your subconscious can't take ajoke.
It doesn't know any better andit will bring all these things
to pass.
Our words create Whatever we'regoing to say.
Enough, it's going to create alife like that.

(20:50):
Think of an example in yourlife.
What's something negative thatyou've consistently said out
loud and your experience in lifeis very similar to that?
Maybe it's I can never loseweight.
Every time I've tried, I failed.
I'm so bad at this.

(21:11):
I just have no willpower.
I have no discipline.
If you say that to yoursubconscious mind, you know what
it says.
It says you are so right.
You have no discipline.
You fail a lot, you're reallynot good.
You can't do this, and it willgive you more of that in your

(21:33):
life.
However, remember what we saidabout responding to a situation.
Instead of saying that, ourresponse is I'm going to speak
positivity in the world.
It could be something like thiswhen it comes to weight loss.
Up until this point, I haven'tbeen super successful with my
weight loss, but I know my mindis getting stronger and better

(21:54):
and I am going to keep gettingbetter and better at this, and
it's becoming more easy and moreeffortless for me to lose not
lose to release the weight, tolet it go, because I don't need
to hold on to that anymore.
So you see, our words are superpowerful, and the only person

(22:14):
that speaks words is the personthat is listening to this right
now, which is you.
If you don't think you'reresponsible for the fact that
you're overweight right now andagain, it's not a bad thing.
It's not a good thing.
It's just a fact right now.
Right now, you're overweight.
However, all you have to do isto start telling your

(22:37):
subconscious mind I am gettingstronger and I am getting better
and it is becoming easier andeasier for me to release this
weight.
I am strong, I am powerful, Ican do this.
And you keep saying that overand over, and your subconscious
mind doesn't know the difference.
It will believe you.

(22:58):
It will take you at your word.
It's as if you're meetingsomeone for the very first time.
You're on the phone with them.
They can't see you.
If you told them that I am inthe best shape of my life and
meanwhile you're 30 poundsoverweight, what will that
person believe on the phone?
They can't see you.
They don't know any different.
They will believe you.

(23:19):
So we want to speak words toour subconscious mind, because
our subconscious mind is likethat other person that we just
spoke to on the phone.
They're listening and whateverwords we give it, it's going to
give you more of the same.
Got it?
Make sense, perfect.
Let's jump on now to numberseven.
Your mind is not evil.

(23:39):
Your mind is not evil.
No force of nature is evil.
It depends how you use thepowers of nature.
Use the mind to bless, heal andinspire all people everywhere.
Okay, I want to teach you thislittle trick.
This is a trick that you canuse anytime if you want to get

(23:59):
better at the words that you'rebringing into your own
subconscious mind.
This is what you do.
When you hear someone else saysomething negative about
themselves, you jump in and youtake words and you plant them in
their subconscious mind.
Example someone says oh man, Ican never lose weight, I'm so

(24:21):
bad at it.
You say to them hey, maybe upuntil now it's been a struggle
for you, but I want to tell you,I believe in you.
I've seen you do some amazingthings and I know that you just
keep getting better and better, and this is going to become an
easier and easier process foryou.
What did you just do?
You did two things.
One you planted words intotheir subconscious mind.

(24:45):
And let me ask you thisquestion who else did you plant
those words into who else'ssubconscious mind?
Yours, and so your mind isgetting used to hearing these
kind of words.
It doesn't know, it hears itand it thinks you're also
speaking to yourself.
So when you say negative thingsto other people, what are you

(25:08):
also saying to yourself?
You're saying negative things.
So the more positive we arewith others, the more those
words are going into our ownsubconscious mind and the more
power we're creating in our ownlife.
So to go around and to alwayslook for opportunities to praise
and give other people words ofencouragement and words of love,

(25:30):
you are doing the same foryourself, because your
subconscious mind can'tdifferentiate between them and
you.
It knows that these words arecoming right into the
subconscious mind, them and you.
It knows that these words arecoming right into the
subconscious mind.
Does that make sense?
So you have a lot of power, andyour power is how can I leave
people with the impression ofincrease?

(25:50):
How can I leave them betterthan I found them?
And the more that you do that, the more you're leaving yourself
better than you originally were.
Speak kindness to others andyou're speaking kindness to
yourselves.
Speak words of encouragement toothers and you're speaking
kindness to yourselves.
Speak words of encouragement toothers and you're speaking
words of encouragement toyourself.
This is a power that is superstrong and for some reason it's

(26:14):
easier to encourage others whenthey say these words of
negativity.
That's fine.
Use that power that you have tohelp program their subconscious
mind in a very positive way andat the same time, you'll be
programming yourself and by alsosharing with other people, it's

(26:34):
going to become easier for youto hear yourself when you say to
yourself these words ofencouragement and these words of
positivity Does that make sense?
Awesome, love it, let's moveforward.
Number eight never say I can'tOvercome the fear by
substituting the following I cando all things through the power

(26:56):
of my own subconscious mind.
I can do all things through thepower of my own subconscious
mind.
So the next time you feel likeyou can't do something because
maybe you don't feel like I'mnot good enough, instead of
saying I'm not good enough or Ican't say out loud to yourself I
can do all things through thepower of my own subconscious

(27:18):
mind.
When Michael Jordan was in highschool and he got cut from his
basketball team, he could haveeasily said I can't do this, I'm
a failure.
Instead, he got driven to say Ican do anything I set my mind
to and he went out and he keptpracticing and getting better

(27:39):
and better and he became one ofthe best players, if not the
best ever to play the game.
We have a choice.
Remember there's going to beevents that occur.
Getting cut from the basketballteam is an event.
The response to that event isgoing to determine your outcome.
He responded in a way thatsupported him in getting the

(28:00):
result that he ultimately wanted.
How would you have responded inthat situation?
Would you have believed thecoach because he was smarter
than you?
He seemed to know more than you, he's coached other players
before or do you use the powerof your own subconscious mind to
prove every other person wrong?
What other people say that areon the outside world?

(28:24):
That will not impact you unlessyou allow it.
If that coach says you can't doit, the only way that becomes
true is if you allow it tobecome true by allowing your
response to be I can't do this.
What's wrong with me?
Something's really wrong withme.
I'm not good enough.
If you do that, yoursubconscious mind will give you

(28:45):
more of that to believe and itwill be your reality of life.
Your words are super powerful.
Use words that are going tosupport you in getting what you
want.
And if you're not sure what tosay, what it says here, I can do
all things through the power ofmy own subconscious mind.
I can do all things through thepower of my own subconscious

(29:09):
mind.
I can do all things through thepower of my own subconscious
mind.
I just repeated that threetimes and, believe it or not,
that went into your subconscioustoo.
What would happen if you startrepeating that for yourself and
others?
You'll see what will happen.
Life will start to shift foryou and you'll start to notice
that things start working out, because you keep saying I can do

(29:32):
all things through the power ofmy own subconscious mind.
Make sense, you have the power.
You are unbelievably strong.
Do not believe what all theother people may have said to
you in the past it's all BS,it's all a belief system.
It's not true.
It's something that youaccepted to be true, which is

(29:53):
not true, because oursubconscious mind can be
programmed with whatever weconsistently give it.
Therefore, whatever was therein the past doesn't mean it has
to be there in our present andfuture, because we can choose
right now to use words ofencouragement, words of love,
words of gratitude for ourselfand others, and when we do that,

(30:14):
what's going to happen?
Your life is going to change, period.
All right, let's go on to thenext one.
Begin to think from thestandpoint of the eternal truths
and principles of life and notfrom the standpoint of fear,
ignorance and superstition.
Do not let others do yourthinking for you.

(30:34):
Choose your own thoughts andmake your own decisions.
Do your thinking for you, choose your own thoughts and
make your own decisions.
This is so powerful what itsays Do not let others do your
thinking for you.
Why?
Why shouldn't you allow them?
If your friend comes up to youand says you know what you
should get out of thatrelationship, should you listen
to your friend or should youtrust your own instincts about

(30:56):
what you should do for your ownrelationship?
Should you make your owndecisions?
Should you think your ownthoughts?
Should you come up with yourown response or are you better
off listening to other people?
If you consistently listen toother people, does that
strengthen you or weaken you?
Of course it's going to weakenyou because you're not using the

(31:18):
power of your own mind to makea decision.
And when you make a decisionand you practice making
decisions, you're going to getstronger and stronger.
And when you get stronger, youbecome more powerful.
And when you become morepowerful, you get more of the
things that you want in yourlife.
And power comes through choice,a choice of how am I going to
respond to this situation.

(31:38):
Am I going to let that personwho's talking on the outside?
Am I going to let their wordscome in and control how I'm
going to act in my life, or am Igoing to say, hey, thanks for
sharing.
I'm choosing to have my ownthoughts, to speak my own words
and to create my own life.
Don't let other people controlyour life.
You control your life.

(31:58):
If you mess up, if you make amistake, if you don't get the
result that you want, how areyou responding to that?
Is it a growth experience?
Can you learn something from it?
Then that is a great thing, because you just got stronger
and more powerful, because youlearn from your own mistake.
Better to learn from your ownmistake than to just keep

(32:19):
listening to other people tellyou what to do and never learn
and never get stronger.
All right, let's continue here.
Number 10, you are the captainof your soul.
You, listening right now, arethe captain of your soul, which
is your subconscious mind, andthe master of your fate.
Remember, you have the capacityto choose choose life, choose

(32:43):
love, choose health, choosehappiness, choose gratitude.
You choose to go down thepositive path consistently and
you will have that in your life.
You will have happiness, youwill have peace, you will have
the things that you want.
When I'm meeting with clients,it's really interesting.
They give me this goal, mike, Iwant to make 700,000 this year,

(33:05):
I want to make a milliondollars this year.
And I ask them this questionhow would you feel if you hit
that goal?
And most of them say I wouldfeel peaceful.
I would feel peaceful, I wouldfeel freedom, I would feel
happiness.
But the question is why do wehave to wait to hit our goal to

(33:25):
feel those feelings?
And when we have more of thesefeelings of peace, freedom and
happiness, doesn't that actuallyput us on the frequency of our
goal?
Of course it does.
You're the captain of your soul, you're the captain of your
subconscious mind.
You choose Choose life, chooselove, choose health, choose

(33:48):
happiness.
All right, we're going to go onto the last one, and this will
end Chapter 2.
Whatever your conscious mindassumes and believes to be true,
your subconscious mind willaccept and bring to pass.
If you don't read any more ofthe book and you just read that

(34:08):
one sentence and you believethat one sentence, whatever your
conscious mind, the thoughtsthat you're consistently
thinking, the words that you'reconsistently speaking, that's
your conscious mind, yourthinking thoughts and your words
, that you're speaking.
Whatever your conscious mindassumes and believes to be true,
your subconscious mind willaccept and bring the past.

(34:30):
So, whatever you choose tothink, whatever you choose to
say on a consistent basis, it'sgoing to be your reality.
You are responsible.
No one else out there isresponsible for how you feel and
how you think.
That is all you, baby, and Ihate to say it, but you got to
take responsibility.

(34:50):
Taking responsibility is sayingthere's nothing outside of me
that controls the events of mylife.
It is my response to thingsthat is going to control my
outcome, and I'm choosing myresponse from now on.
I'm not allowing other peopleout there to decide for me.
All right, so let's go to thatlast sentence in this, which is

(35:15):
believe in good fortune, divineguidance, right action and all
the blessings of life.
You can choose.
Hearing this podcast this stuffdoesn't work.
He's so full of it.
You just programmed yourself.
You just use words to plant inyour subconscious mind.

(35:35):
You just said this doesn't workit.
You just said this doesn't work.
It doesn't work.
It doesn't work.
Your reality is going to be itdoesn't work.
You have the choice to respondto an event.
Your response can be this stuffdoesn't work or it can be.
I have an unbelievable power inmy subconscious.

(35:56):
This power in my subconsciousmind is incredible why it is
controlling every aspect of mybeing.
It controls my heartbeat.
It controls my liver, controlsmy lungs, controls all trillion
cells in my body.
It controls my heartbeat, itcontrols my breathing, it
controls my seeing, my hearing,my smelling, my tasting, my

(36:16):
touching.
You have that power.
So for you to ever say toyourself I am not powerful, ever
again, you're 100% wrong.
And you have to listen to thisover and just keep using that
response mechanism, that youhave to respond in a way that's
positive, that's loving, that'scaring, not only towards others

(36:37):
but towards yourself.
And when you do that, yoursubconscious mind is going to
give you a hug because it'sgoing to say ah, finally, you're
finally giving me stuff that Ican give you back, which is
positive love, kindness, abundance and all the things
that you've been searching for.
You've been looking outside, there, outside in the outside

(37:04):
world, for the answer, and thefunny thing is, all along, that
answer is right inside of you.
So that's what I want you totake away from today you have
all the power to respond and youhave all the power to have
happiness and good things inyour life.
You have to make a choice, andwhen you make that choice and
you don't allow the outsideworld to influence you anymore
and the only way that happens isthrough practice when you do

(37:27):
that, your life consistentlychanged.
I love you, I wish you the best.
Take this one and listen to itover and over again, because
there's so much power in these11 statements that we made today
and you can't listen to themenough.
The more you hear them, thebetter.
So I appreciate you.
I love you.
Share this podcast with otherpeople that you think can use

(37:50):
this.
Don't just keep it to yourself.
Don't say, oh, I don't want toshare this.
What if they think it's weirdwhen they hear this?
Don't make the judgment forthem.
Let them make the judgment forthemselves and share it out with
others, because think about theimpact.
If you're on podcast 11 now, this is having an impact on your
life, and I know it is becauseyou can't listen to 11 plus

(38:14):
hours or less of thisinformation and not have it
impact you in a positive way.
Keep sharing your love withothers, keep making a difference
, keep planting words ofencouragement, kindness and love
, and you're doing the same foryourself when you're doing it
for others.
Have a wonderful day and thanksfor being here.
See you next week.

Are You A Charlotte?

In 1997, actress Kristin Davis’ life was forever changed when she took on the role of Charlotte York in Sex and the City. As we watched Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte navigate relationships in NYC, the show helped push once unacceptable conversation topics out of the shadows and altered the narrative around women and sex. We all saw ourselves in them as they searched for fulfillment in life, sex and friendships. Now, Kristin Davis wants to connect with you, the fans, and share untold stories and all the behind the scenes. Together, with Kristin and special guests, what will begin with Sex and the City will evolve into talks about themes that are still so relevant today. "Are you a Charlotte?" is much more than just rewatching this beloved show, it brings the past and the present together as we talk with heart, humor and of course some optimism.
