What if the answers you're seeking aren't found in strategic planning or endless hustle, but in learning to listen to that quiet voice within? Michael Fox, spiritual teacher and author of "The Whisper of God," reveals how his journey from ignoring his calling to embracing it transformed his life and can transform yours too.

Discover the profound connection between gratitude and divine guidance as Michael explains how appreciation serves as more than just a positive mindset—it's the frequency that allows us to receive life's greatest gifts. Through powerful stories and practical wisdom, he shows how living in gratitude quiets the mind's incessant chatter (those 65,000 daily thoughts!) and opens us to the guidance already available within.

For those feeling stuck in careers that no longer fulfill them or facing leadership challenges that seem insurmountable, this conversation offers a refreshing perspective. Learn the art of reframing questions from "why is this happening to me?" to "what is this teaching me?"—a subtle shift with transformative results. Michael compares our subconscious to a search engine, faithfully responding to whatever we ask, highlighting how the quality of our questions determines the quality of our lives.

Perhaps most importantly, this episode provides practical guidance for those who recognize the whisper but struggle to act on it. Michael's advice? Start small, build confidence through practice, and remember that true inner guidance comes as clear knowing, not internal debate. Whether you're contemplating a career pivot, navigating leadership challenges, or simply seeking greater alignment in life, this wisdom-packed conversation illuminates the path forward through gratitude, authenticity, and the courage to listen when the divine whispers.

Speaker 1 (01:05):
This week we're going to do something really special.
I was on a podcast this weekfrom an incredible coach in
Tunisia and she brought me onher podcast and we discussed
gratitude.
And we did another greatpodcast a few episodes ago on

(01:25):
gratitude and I thought thiswould be a terrific fit and a
great podcast.
So enjoy this podcast and Ilook forward to seeing you next
week, but in the meantime, enjoythis.

Speaker 2 (01:42):
This is not going to be just a conversation about
leadership or career development.
This is a conversation aboutlistening, listening to the
still small voice within, listening to what Michael Fox
calls the whisper of God.
I'm honored to welcome Michaelto the show, a spiritual teacher

(02:06):
, coach and the author of thispowerful book that has already
changed a lot and so many lives, including mine, since I read it
.
Today we will explore howlistening to divine whispers can
lead us to the right path, tothe right career, to the right
decision in leadership and inlife.

(02:29):
Michael Fox, welcome to theCall.
Hello hello, Michael Fox Welcome.

Speaker 1 (02:36):
Nabila, this is really a wonderful moment for me
.
I don't know if anyone knows, but thinking how long we've
known each other and we reallystarted this path and journey
years ago together.
It's just such a beautifulthing to watch your growth, to
see all the lives that you'reimpacting and affecting, and

(02:58):
it's just a pleasure to be here.

Speaker 2 (03:02):
I love it.
I mean our story of how we'veknown each other and how our
paths across.
There was a time where Michael, myself and a bunch of other
people were meeting every dayfor more than probably a year
and a half, two years.

Speaker 1 (03:20):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (03:20):
Like literally in the mastermind.
But that's good for anotherepisode, michael.
This today, this is all aboutthat absolutely amazing book
that starts with a powerful.
The title of the book is theWhisper of God and it begins
with a powerful invitation.
You didn't find this book byaccident.

(03:43):
Let's begin there.
Can you explain what it meansto truly hear the whisper of God
and how that whisper can guidesomeone to feel stuck or lost in
their professional life?

Speaker 1 (03:59):
Yeah, I will, and I'll tell it through a story
because it's a true story.
It happened to me, which waswhen I was younger and I was
about to go into college.
I wanted to be a teacher.
That's what I wanted to do.
I wanted to teach kids and helpkids and make a difference in
their life, and I had thisknowing inside that was what I

(04:24):
should be doing, however shouldbe doing.
However, this stuff in my headstarted happening and what it
told me was you can't makeenough money doing that, how are
you going to have a family?
How will you have a career?
So, instead of doing what Iknew was the right thing for me

(04:44):
to do, I wanted to pleaseeveryone else and go in a
different path, and so I shutthat voice down and I didn't do
what I knew in my heart was theright thing to do, and that kept
happening for years.
Even when I became a financialadvisor and I was helping people

(05:07):
and I love the fact that I washelping people there was still
this yearning inside to beteaching and helping people more
on a spiritual level.
And finally, I listened to thewhisper.
It took me many years to listen, but I did listen and I
actually stopped my career as afinancial advisor and said
that's it.

(05:27):
I went through a tough timemyself.
I found this information.
It helped me so much and oncethat happened I said I must
share this with other people andspend really the rest of my
life doing that.
And I feel like if I do that, then at the end of my life I can
look back and say I absolutelydid what I truly wanted to do.

(05:49):
But the interesting thing is andI think for everyone that's
listening is we all have thisknowing inside of us and
unfortunately, sometimes whathappens is this thing here our
mind, our ego, takes over andstarts to talk and it tries to
convince us why we shouldn't dothat.

(06:10):
I don't have enough money, Idon't have enough time, I don't
have enough resources.
All the stuff, that's all thestuff that came up for me.
So maybe we can start.
Here's the thing.
What I've found is that whenyou listen to the whisper and
you act on the whisper, everything works exactly as it

(06:32):
should and you get from point Ato point B, in my opinion, way
faster than trying to figure itout up here.
So that's what it is to me,yeah.

Speaker 2 (06:43):
I love it.
I love it.
This is coming full circle toteaching.
Like you went, you followedwhat everybody was telling you
Money is in finance, money is inselling insurance, money is in
and teaching.
Look at these teachers they arestuck and they are not going
anywhere.
And la, la, la.
And then you beat everybody andsay teachers are not, they're

(07:05):
stuck, they are not paid enough.
How are you going to have afamily with being a teacher?
And look, even Jack Ma, the onewho owns Alibaba and AliExpress
and reaches the biggest shoponline he's a teacher.
So it's just the concept ofteacher in our mind that makes

(07:28):
it oh, they don't earn enough.
Or it's just a statement thatwe've been taught a story, we've
been taught about this or thatthat keeps us going.
I'm delighted you are goingfull circle into teaching and
teaching the stuff that wereally love.
One of the themes that stayedwith me reading your book is

(07:52):
gratitude, and in your book, daniel learns that gratitude is
a gateway to divine guidance.
How can ambitious,high-achieving women stuck
somewhere they feel there is aglass ceiling above their head?

(08:12):
No, you cannot be VD.
No, you cannot be CEO.
Women are not supposed to beCEO.
Women cannot be CEO, how canwomen in positions like this
start embodying this kind oftransformative gratitude in
their day-to-day careers?

(08:32):
Because gratitude has such apowerful and miraculous effect.
Tell us more about gratitude.

Speaker 1 (08:41):
Yeah.
So it's interesting.
What happens for most people isthat we have these thoughts
that go in our head and theyjust keep going and going.
I've got this meeting.
I got to hurry up, I'm stressed, I'm feeling this.
This conversation starts toensue and it takes over.
We're having 65,000 thoughtsper day, right?

(09:04):
So a lot of them are the same, but they're going on and on.
So the question is how can weglow that voice down, how can we
silence it so that we can befirst way more peaceful, feel a
lot better and then, mostimportantly, be able to tap into

(09:24):
the power that's already insideof us?
Right, there's this powerthat's amazing, which is somehow
Nabila.
Our heart is beatingconsistently, like it just beats
.
We're not doing anything.
You're breathing in and out, even while you go to sleep.
Somehow, miraculously, that'sworking.
All these cells in your bodyare doing their thing.

(09:47):
We have all these organs in ourbody that are functioning.
How is that happening?
That part of our being, thesubconscious, which is, I think,
our connection to God or divineor higher power, that's running
the show.
So if that part of us canhandle operating our whole body,

(10:09):
our breathing, our blinking, everything that we do is it
possible that if we turn ourmind that chatter over to that
place, that maybe that placewill get us to where we need to
go in a much faster way.
So the way to do that, in myopinion, is through gratitude.

(10:30):
It's the way we quiet our mind,is just to say thank you, and
it could be thank you foreverything.
We could just say thank you forme being able to breathe right
now, thank you for me being ableto stand up and walk.

(11:25):
It's the thank yous for all thethings that we already have,
and when we do that, we'remaking that connection.
I just want to tell this onestory because I feel like this
is really powerful your daughter, right.
Imagine you go to your daughterand you go out and you buy this

(11:46):
gift that she really loves, right, something that, like, you
spend a lot of time thinkingabout this.
You wrap it up, you put a bowon it and you give her the
present and she opens it, shelooks at it and then she just
pushes it off the table andshows no appreciation or no
thanks for that.

(12:07):
Now here's the question for youhow likely would you be to get
her another gift in the nearfuture if she did that?

Speaker 2 (12:17):
Very unlikely.

Speaker 1 (12:19):
Very unlikely.
Why is it?
What did she do that kind ofwould make you not want to do
that.

Speaker 2 (12:27):
She wasn't receptive to it, she wasn't thankful for
it.
She didn't allow me to gift her.
I want to gift it to her andshe just rejected it, so it's
very unlikely.

Speaker 1 (12:42):
It's very unlikely.
She didn't show appreciation,she didn't show thanks.
So that's you being the parentfor her.
Now, if we look at God as theparent for us and we're walking
around with all these incrediblegifts that God or the higher
power, divine, whatever you wantto call it, it doesn't matter,
but that higher power has givenus all these gifts and we're

(13:05):
walking around and we're pushingthem all off the table and not
showing appreciation for them.
But if we show appreciation forthem, what do you think that
higher power might do?

Speaker 2 (13:17):
Oh, my God, we'll shower us with its blessings and
.

Speaker 1 (13:24):
Yeah, yeah, that's it .
And so I believe thatconnection that we make through
just living, not making agratitude.
Gratitude lists are fine, butit's living in gratitude, not
I'm going to in the morning.
I'm going to say three thingsthat I'm grateful able to, in
good and bad times, be able tosay what can I be grateful for

(13:52):
in this situation, right now andagain.
We're not going to be perfectat this.
It's practice, and sometimes wemay not do it for a week, but
when we realize we're not doingit, then we practice and we do
it again.
Soon by practice and repetition, it becomes a part of our being
.
So that's really the gratitudethat I'm talking about.

(14:12):
Does that make sense?

Speaker 2 (14:14):
It does Big time.
I remember a time myself in thecorporate where it's just go
time meetings back to back, skipping lunch and all of these
things.
We all have been there and it'slike a life on the hamster
wheel.
It's like running and runningand it's never ending.
And then one day I startedquestioning that and I said what

(14:40):
is it that is missing here?
And it was just the more you do, the more you get of the hustle
.
And I was looking at that as Iwas proud of being busy and
having a hectic life and so onand so forth, Until one day I
started questioning that.
So the idea for corporate womenis that wherever you are in your

(15:02):
career, in your life, in yourjourney, and if you can just
avail yourself a moment to stopspinning your wheels and look
around.
And I look around and there's abeautiful window here with
amazing trees, and it's anamazing, gorgeous day, sunny and
full of blessings, and I'm herein my beautiful home.

(15:24):
And then all of a sudden, youstart looking at things around
that you've been taking forgranted, and the moment you
start giving thanks that thesethings are in your life in the
first place because we don'tneed to wait until they are
taken away for us to startseeing their value, that we can

(15:47):
start looking at where you are, even the job that you want to
leave.
If you are grateful enough tothe job that you that the fact
that you have currently a job, even though you want to move,
it's going to shorten, as yousaid earlier on, shorten your
move to the next, better one.
And it's not by being resistantto this job that you don't like

(16:12):
, by being not so grateful aboutwhere you are, that you are
going to speed up the process tothe next one.
It's actually sometimes we areso caught up in this, in the
mechanical way of doing things, that we sabotage the gateway to
our own freedom, which isgratitude, and I always say

(16:33):
appreciation is the master keyto manifesting, to getting
anything you want in life.
It's simply that, michael, thisis so good.
Many of Our listeners are incareers, for example, that no
longer serve them, but they arestuck with the mortgages and the
loans and they cannot leavebecause of the kids, because

(16:55):
they have to put this on thetable, but they are afraid to
pivot.
So how does your book speak tothat fear, to that decision that
, logically, we cannot afford Ifwe leave it to our logical mind
, it's going to say no, no,nabila, like many years.

(17:16):
For me it's no, nabila, youcannot leave this good job.
And actually today I wrote anarticle on LinkedIn says why did
you leave your very goodposition?
People ask that seems to be thelogical question.
So, to come back, how can women, or people in general, trust

(17:39):
the timing of the next move?
What can they specifically doto pivot and trust that voice
that's whispering them that it'stime to let go and move on, and
they will be taken care of bydivine order, so to speak, by

(18:01):
something bigger than astrategic plump.

Speaker 1 (18:05):
Yeah, it's a great question.
It's such a great point thatyou're making, and it's
something that stops most peopleis that fear of what if?
How will I make this happen?
And there is no decision that'sbeen made, and so we stay in
this lack of decision and we'reconstantly our mind is going a

(18:27):
little bit nuts and we're livingin this fear of what, if?
What if?
I want to do it, but I can't doit and the mind is going crazy.
Again, that first step is key, which is to start being thankful
.
Hey, I'm thankful that I evenhave the opportunity to think
like this.
I'm grateful that I have theopportunity to have the option

(18:50):
to have this job and potentiallyleave it to go do something
else.
There are a lot of people outthere that don't have that.
So, again, that's making theconnection.
Once we make the connection, Ithink the next step is we got to
really be clear on what it isthat we want.
Right, Easier said than done,Like someone could say I want a

(19:17):
lot of money and then the higherpower says, okay, here you go
and they give you a certainamount of money.
But it didn't.
That higher power, the source, the subconscious that we're
turning it over to.
It needs to be really clear onwhat you want so it can deliver
that.
And I think one of the bigissues that most people deal
with is they're not really superclear on what it is they want.

(19:37):
And it's just a matter oftaking out a piece of paper and
writing down and even if ittakes a week, two weeks, a month
to really get clear on what youwant, that's fine.
But just start the process ofgetting clear on what you want,
Because, again, we've made thisconnection through gratitude.
Now we've got to say, okay, God, this is what it is that I want

(19:58):
and we're asking for what wewant.
But again, we need the clarityof that picture of what it is
that we want.
Once we have that clarity of thepicture and we ask for it,
again we got to keep our mindquiet through living in
gratitude, and then the magicoccurs.
You don't have to make anythinghappen.

(20:18):
You'll get a thought that popsin your mind.
You'll be sitting on the trainand you hear a conversation
behind you and they happen to betalking about something that
relates to exactly what it isthat you've been thinking about.
You watch a movie and you go tothat movie and at the end of
the movie something happens.

(20:39):
It inspires crazy and wehaven't gotten it to quiet down,
we're going to miss the whisper.
Have you had that happen, whereyou get a whisper, You're like
this is the thing I know Ishould be doing, and then your

(21:00):
mind just goes, it just missesit.
And then years later you'll sayI remember I was going to do
that and then I never did it.
And you say I wish I would havedone it and meanwhile we missed
out on that time period.
But that's okay, because welearn and we grow.
And the point is to say, okay,I'm just becoming aware of this

(21:21):
process, I'm aware of what'shappening, and then we just
start to practice it.
There's no perfection.
No one's the best at this.
We get better at anything bypractice period.

Speaker 2 (21:35):
Practice makes perfect.
All the time.
When you were talking about howwe need to listen and
especially get clear on ourgoals and get specific on our
goal, and especially get clearon our goals and get specific on
our goal, a few days ago, oneof my previous clients sent me a
slip of paper which is like adoodle thing, it's a scrambled

(21:56):
paper like this.
She said, dr Habib, I found thispaper, like she was moving or
something, and I found thispaper and it's written in there
salary of 75,000 rials, which isthe Saudi currency, position,
general director of developmentand something In 2024,.

(22:16):
She said by the life of me, Iam exactly that now.
I had goosebumps.
She said something.
She said if I did not find thispiece of paper, I wouldn't
remember that.

(22:36):
But once a year, maybe lessthan a year and a half, and
she's in that and that's thenumber she mentioned on the slip
of it.
She said I so much didn't be,because I was telling them about
the C-type goal.
And she said, okay, I'm goingto write what she says a C-type
goal.
So she put three times what shewas earning at that time and

(23:00):
she put five levels above whereshe was and within a year and
some, there she is in thatexactly same position with that
exact same salary.
She said, if I did not find thispiece of paper, I would have
forgotten.
I forgot that.
I wanted it, like a year ago,and this is so powerful.

(23:22):
And she said you know what?
This did not happen by workingharder and putting more hours.
And so she said I did exactlywhat you told us, which is
gratitude.
We did a 30-day challenge ofgratitude, we read the book the
Magic by Rhonda Byrne and we didthe daily work.

(23:46):
And she said I was chilling out.
But in chilling out, inconnecting with who I was, I
started feeling grounded.
And then this happened.
She says what was naturally, Ididn't engineer anything.
What say you to this, michael?
This is so.

Speaker 1 (24:08):
I say that is the secret to life, which is just
our goal, is, how do I quiet mymind so I can just connect to
the place that's already doingso many amazing things?
It's healing our body on adaily basis.
Why would we try to figure itout when we have this power?

(24:30):
That's inside of us andeveryone has it?
That's the most incrediblething.
The answer isn't out there.
The answer doesn't exist outthere.
It's right inside.
Now, sometimes we need peopleto help us see that we are the
ones that have that power insideof us and how to tap into it.
But there's no magic thatexists out there.
There's no magic pill.

(24:51):
People always say what's theone thing?
It's just re-becoming theauthentic version of yourself,
which is there sometimes.
I remember when I was younger, Iwent to this new elementary
school and I used to have a biglike.
My hair was really big like abig Afro, and I was at school

(25:12):
the first day.
Now, at the school that I wentto before that, everyone I got
along with everyone.
We had such a great time.
We were all great friends.
So here I am at this new schooland at recess they all come
around and they stick their handin my hair and they're like
messing it.
And I ran home Like I literallyran from school because it
wasn't that far.
I ran to my house and I saidI'm not going back and at that

(25:36):
point I put on this mask of I.
Again I got a people please.
I got to make other peoplehappy.
I can't be who I truly ambecause if I am, people will
make fun of me and people willmake me feel like I just felt.
And I think again the secretcomes back to is how do we get
ourselves to go back to who wereally are?

(25:56):
And if we live the authenticversion of ourselves, everything
will work out.
Problem is, most people aredoing things in their life that
aren't truly what they want tobe doing and they're wondering
why things aren't working out.
It's because we're beingconstantly guided to come back
to who God made Nabila, god mademe, god made everyone listening

(26:18):
to this to be a specific person.
Not for me to be like you andyou to be like me.
No, we're gifts here.
We're put here to be like youand you to be like me.
No, we're gifts here.
We're put here to be ourselves.
And again, unfortunately, because of all the programming
that occurs, we start to believethat we're not good enough and
we're not smart enough and allthe other belief systems that

(26:40):
come in.
And it's funny because all therest of our lives we go back to
trying to be who we really areon the inside.
And if we can break throughthat, I think that we win the
game of life.
If we can do that.

Speaker 2 (26:53):
Oh, big time Asking the right questions, talking
about questions, michael, thereis, as we literally are bringing
this show to a close.
There is a beautiful moment inyour book where you shift the
question from why is thishappening to me to what is this

(27:15):
teaching me.
That really hit home.
How can this kind of questionchange?
Or question reframing, how canit change the way women, people
in general, navigate theircareer path, their leadership
path and respond to workplacechallenges?
So take it in the context okay,my boss is micromanaging all

(27:41):
the time.
You know, why am I with thisboss who is micromanaging?
Why is the environment toxic?
So how can we reframe thequestions from why is this
happening to me to what is thisteaching me?
That's a big shift, right.

Speaker 1 (28:00):
It's a wonderful, it's a big shift.
Using this analogy, if you wereto go open up Google in your

(28:22):
browser and you wanted to findout information on a new car,
would you type into that searchsomething about a dog?
And the answer is, of course, you wouldn't, because if you
type in something about a dog, what's going to be served up is
an answer to your question thatyou're asking Google, our
subconscious works the same way, right, that part of God that's
inside of us.
Whatever question we ask it, itwill give us an answer.
So if I ask, why is thishappening to me, why is my boss

(28:42):
micromanaging me?
And I ask from that perspective, I will get a lot of answers.
Unfortunately, those answersaren't going to serve me.
So instead, what I could do isI could ask a more powerful
question is what can I begrateful for in this situation?
How can I learn what's onereason why this might be

(29:02):
happening to me and how can thatagain take me to a higher level
?
Everything's happening for areason and purpose, but it's how
we look at it, which is thepoint that you're making.
Right, the questions that we'reasking.
That's gonna depending on thequestion we ask.
We have this Google inside ofus, it's gonna serve up the

(29:23):
answer to us.
So if that's the case, justlike in Google, if we would type
in a specific question to getan answer, we want to do the
same thing inside of us, becausethat's exactly the same thing
that's going to happen, and Ihear it all the time.
People are always saying why isthis happening to me?
I don't understand.
If you ask that you're going toget a lot more feedback on that

(29:45):
and it's not going to, it'sgoing to take you in a negative
loop and ultimately, unfortunately, you're not going
to get anywhere with that.
So it's reframing exactly whatyou're saying, which makes all
the difference in the world, cause then you'll get the best
reframe to me is what can I begrateful for in this situation?
No matter how bad the situationis, there's always something we
can.
Even if someone was in thehospital with cancer, right,

(30:08):
thank God, I have theopportunity to go into this
person and be there and givethem love, and, in other words,
there's always something.
The question is are we going tosearch for that or are we going
to focus on why is thishappening to me?
Because why is this happeningto me Isn't going to help the
situation.

Speaker 2 (30:26):
More of the same.
So no wonder the person is likewhy, why am I attracting only
micromanagers or boss who areall the time mic?
I wonder what kind of questionthey put in Google.

Speaker 1 (30:38):
Why is why are they always micromanaging me?
Why that you'll get moreanswers of why, and then your
focus will be your glasses willbe on looking at every single
thing they do that micromanages.
How can I lose?
How can I grow, how can Ibecome better?
Because of the micromanaging?
Maybe it's going to help mebecome stronger and better at
this thing that I'm doing.

(30:58):
Maybe I don't know everythingand maybe I'm going to learn
something from it.
It's just looking at it from adifferent angle.
That's it.

Speaker 2 (31:08):
It's just looking at it from a different angle.
That's it, absolutely Withgratitude, because even some of
my clients get sometimes likethis at me and they say what's
good in it?
They say there's nothing goodand I say what's good in it?
So there's good in the bad andbad in the good.
There's always something goodand God will never put you
through something unless it hassomething.

(31:30):
And there's something in it foryou.
There's something, so askwhat's in it for me?
Can I just tell?

Speaker 1 (31:37):
one quick story about this, because it's quick.
This is a true story.
There was a gentleman and heneeded to get on a flight.
And he's because he could missthe flight, because he had a
very important meeting he had tobe at.
He runs through the lobby, runsout the door and ends up
tripping and falls down the stepand breaks his leg and ends up

(31:57):
going to the hospital and misseshis flight.
When he's in the hospital theyput the TVs on and breaking news
.
The airplane that he wassupposed to be on blew up upon
takeoff and everyone on theflight was killed.
Now you think at first, beforehe knew that fact, do you think

(32:18):
he was grateful that he missedthat flight?

Speaker 2 (32:21):
Huming with anger.
He must be.
How about that?

Speaker 1 (32:26):
And the thing is like .
In that scenario you canclearly see why he would be
grateful.
But potentially we can'tnecessarily always see what's
happening.
I'm driving a car and there's aperson in front of me and
they're driving really slow andI'm getting really annoyed, but
maybe that's preventing me frombeing in a car accident down a

(32:48):
little bit further down the road.
I can't see all that, but wecan be grateful.
I'm grateful that I'm beingslowed down because maybe I'm
trusting there's a higher powerthat's taking care of me here.

Speaker 2 (32:59):
God's plan always better than Always, absolutely
so.
At the end of the book, danielbecomes the guide for someone
else, and it's a beautiful fullcircle moment.
What would you say to ourlisteners who feel they've heard
the whisper, they had itmultiple times, but don't know

(33:23):
what to do next?
They get the whisper, they getthe nudge, they get the voice,
they get the small voice that'stelling them do this.
It seems illogical and they'restuck.
They don't know what to dobetween these two voices.
So how do they move fromawareness to alignment, to
taking maybe baby steps, butstill courageous the steps and

(33:46):
action, but still courageous, the steps and action.

Speaker 1 (33:49):
Yeah, I think you just said it perfectly which is,
once you hear the whisper, thenthe last step, which is the
most important step, is you haveto act on it as soon as you get
it.
Just act on it Now.
It doesn't mean that you haveto start off with the whisper

(34:10):
that you're going to quit yourjob and you're, but start with
smaller things, like build uponit slowly and get the confidence
in that it actually works whichit does work, because that
voice inside of us is alwaysleading us down the right path.
And the way that we know it'sthat voice is it's not a whole
dialogue and conversation andthe way that we know it's that
voice is it's not a wholedialogue and conversation.
It's not trying to talk us outof anything.

(34:32):
There's no dialogue it's.
I have a feeling like youshould do this.
It's just, it's a message, yougot it, you know it, and there's
no dialogue.
That happens.
Then we in our mind, can start adialogue, but again it's
hearing that voice, or hearingthat message and then taking
action on it, and we just keeppracticing and practicing.

(34:54):
And when we get confident, because we really see that it
works, then we can startpracticing it with some bigger
things.
And then we realize the powerall along actually existed right
inside of myself and all I hadto do is tap into it.
But again, that takes practiceand no one initially is.
Most people don't believe thatthey have that true power.

(35:16):
But again, we're going to buildit by practice and then the
confidence builds and thensuddenly you realize, wow, this
is really right inside of me.
And then after that the key isteaching it to other people Once
it's working for you and youknow, know it's working for you.
There's other people that arestruggling too and we can be the
light for those people and helpthem see it and help them grow

(35:36):
and, like for the women thatyou're talking about that are
running these big teams ofpeople, when they get this
message, sharing that with theirteam or individuals on their
team and making differences tothose people, that's only going
to make their firm and theirbusiness that much stronger,
because everyone's operatingfrom this very powerful place.

Speaker 2 (35:57):
Talking about sharing , michael has been so gracious
as to offer this amazing book, the Whisper of God, for free.
So if you want us to share acopy with you, dm us.
God or Whisper of God for free.
So if you want us to share acopy with you, dm us God or
Whisper of God, and we will makesure we send you a copy,

(36:18):
graciously offered by MichaelFulves, who is the author of
this beautiful piece.
Michael, this conversation wasmore than insightful.
I, for one, enjoyed every bitof it, as always.
Thank you so much for remindingus that careers, life, are not

(36:39):
just about roles and about doingand about promotions, and about
getting something more, gettingmore of whatever we want.
More getting more of whateverwe want.
It's more about, first of all, reaching that place of alignment
with that part of you thatyou're higher, calling your
truth.
And to our listeners, if youare hearing a whisper, I think

(37:02):
Michael is going to tell youdon't ignore it, sit with it,
follow it, let it guide you.
Your most aligned, fulfilledcareer or promotion or upgrade,
whatever it is that you want, isn't something you force, isn't
something you struggle for, isn't something you hustle for,

(37:23):
it's something you allow.
Michael, what's the reason youdo this so?

Speaker 1 (37:28):
Michael, what's the reason you do this?
I think, again, we're right inalignment.
It's allowing, and that's thekey.
It's like you don't want toresist, you don't want to force.
Think about when you've donethis in your own life with
anything.
When you start resistingsomething or you start trying to
force something to happen, itjust doesn't work.
It just doesn't work.
And sometimes getting into thatquiet space of being grateful

(37:51):
and getting onto that frequencyof gratitude, then suddenly
these thoughts and people andideas, just magically it's not
magic, we're just on, we'reoperating on a different
frequency, we're picking up adifferent signal and and
therefore life starts working alot better.

Speaker 2 (38:14):
And it happens.
Now we're bringing this to aclose, Michael.
What if you tell us a littlebit about the people you work
with and where good people findyou if they want to reach out to
you, Michael?

Speaker 1 (38:31):
Yeah, I guess the best place.
The people that I work with, myniche is really financial
advisors as well, as they'recalled RVPs specifically at
insurance companies, so they'resalespeople within the insurance
, like large insurance companies, and the best way to reach out
is just to go to the website, which is michaelfoxcoachcom, and

(38:55):
on there if you do want to everhave a consultation just free
consultation you get on thewaiting list for that and would
love to have a conversation and, again, love to spread this to
as many people as possible.
And, nabil, I just want to sayto you thank you for being a
light to other people andspreading this gift to so many

(39:17):
people.
We were talking earlier and youhad mentioned how many
conversations you've had overthe years and I was thinking to
myself that's incredible.
Think about all the people thatyou've actually impacted with
those conversations and everyonelistening.
You have the ability to do theexact same thing, which is to
have a conversation with someoneelse and to be that person in

(39:39):
their life that makes adifference.
I'm grateful.
I'm grateful for you, nabila, and I'm grateful to be here.

Speaker 2 (39:45):
I'm so grateful for you, michael, coming on my show
in here, the Quantum LeadershipHacks, and until the last few
words, if you want to saysomething otherwise, they can
also find you on LinkedIn aswell.
I think you are also.
You have a page on LinkedIn aswell, if they want to search for
it as well, so I'll makeappointment also can do that,

(40:08):
which is puttingmichaFoxCoachcom and your name
into LinkedIn.
They will find you right.

Speaker 1 (40:17):
They will.
I think if you search MichaelFox Coach, you'll find me too in
there as well.
But yes, correct?

Speaker 2 (40:23):
Absolutely Thanks for that.

Speaker 1 (40:25):
You search for all the, for all those hardworking
women that are listening in.
What I can tell you is thatNabila is amazing at what she
does, and I'm not just sayingthat she didn't even know I was
going to do this, but I'm justtelling you she's incredible at
what she does.
So if you're watching this andyou've been thinking about,

(40:47):
maybe I should do this withNabila.
We've been talking about awhisper the entire time.
This is the whisper.
This is the whisper, and thekey is now to take the action,
to set up time with her, becausethis could be the moment that
literally changes your life.
And again, the whispers are allaround us.
The question is are welistening and are we acting on

(41:08):
them?
I hope many people reach out toNabila, because I know the
power that you have inside and Iknow how you really help people
.
Let's keep helping lots ofpeople.

Speaker 2 (41:17):
Thank you so much.
Likewise, michael.
This has been so good.
Listen, everyone.
We hope that this has been anenlightening conversation.
If you get the whispers, youknow what to do now.
This is your sign.
This is it.
If you've been looking for asign, this is it.
So, until next time, keepleading, keep listening and keep

(41:40):
living in alignment.
Thank you everyone and untilnext time.
Have a great day, everyone, andMichael, as always, thank you
so much.

Speaker 1 (41:50):
Thank you, Nabila Bye .

Are You A Charlotte?

Are You A Charlotte?

In 1997, actress Kristin Davis’ life was forever changed when she took on the role of Charlotte York in Sex and the City. As we watched Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte navigate relationships in NYC, the show helped push once unacceptable conversation topics out of the shadows and altered the narrative around women and sex. We all saw ourselves in them as they searched for fulfillment in life, sex and friendships. Now, Kristin Davis wants to connect with you, the fans, and share untold stories and all the behind the scenes. Together, with Kristin and special guests, what will begin with Sex and the City will evolve into talks about themes that are still so relevant today. "Are you a Charlotte?" is much more than just rewatching this beloved show, it brings the past and the present together as we talk with heart, humor and of course some optimism.
