I’ve been a Republican. But I’ve also been, like a lot of people right now, an Independent. I learned that politics is not a spectator sport. I like to empower my audience to know how to be able to communicate with the people that are making decisions about their lives. And sometimes people are not going to agree with me, but the fact of the matter is, that doesn’t matter. It’s not about me. It’s about getting to the core of the topic.”
