(00:00):
Yeah, what's good? What's good everyone? Welcome to the healing club podcast episode five.

(00:11):
Oh, I'm starting to lose count now.
Five.
Too many episodes now. We start. I told you we came. We are coming and we are here. So, episode five.
Before we begin, I'd like to start off with our suicide awareness. If you know anyone that's hurting, if you yourself are hurting, going through a tough time.

(00:35):
Things are just so unbearable that you can't manage it all.
And you feel like giving up. That's the time to call someone. If you feel like giving up, that's definitely the time to call someone. And there is a hotline out there for everyone.
The suicide awareness hotline is only three digits. I swear to God, I'm going to memorize this one day. But it's only three digits.

(01:00):
998 or something like that.
It's very simple. It's like 899 or 998.
I feel like it's 988.
You might be right.
Or 99.
Yeah, it is 988.
988. There it is.

(01:21):
We are definitely going to have to get that memorized. It's only three digits.
It used to be a 1-800 number, dog. That used to be tough. And like they didn't have a texting option either.
But now you can text us number 988.
Everything is confidential.
Nobody got to know.
Yeah.
If that's a big thing, you know, because I understand like your business being out there and stuff like a lot of that stuff is stressful.

(01:51):
And luckily for everyone here on episode five, we have a very special topic today on stress.
So yeah, if you are going through a lot of stress, please reach out to that number 988.
I tell you who need to reach out to that number right now, though, bro.
Oh, I'm talking about I'm talking about the guard that played for OKC.

(02:18):
You know, he he had a he had a fun time with a with a minor over the weekend.
The Australian. The Australian Josh Giddy.
That man.
Seventeen, bro. Seventeen, bro. That little 17 year old girl got him on snaps cheesing in these pictures, bro.
I got to show him to you after the show. I can't show him to you yet.
But this man, this man happy with that 17 year old.

(02:41):
And what's crazy is he pulling the tiger. Huh?
He pulling another tiger. That's what it sounds like.
It might sound dead ass, bro.
My man said he ain't got no comments when they brought it up to.
Man, no comments. You sure, bro?
You sure you don't got no comments?

(03:02):
Doc, I mean, this guy's not really an excuse for underage.
You know, I was thinking, like, OK, what if her birthday was like next week or something?
But there's been going on.
Apparently, wow. So it's really no way out of it, bro.
Like that man, you seen that video? I seen you. I seen I seen the man's little sex assault charges.

(03:27):
That's good. Sex assault charges.
That's crazy, though, bro. That's.
Seventeen, how do you make a mistake like that?
What's going to be your excuse, bro?
No one no one's going to listen to it, bro.
I'll tell you that right now, because it's already disgusting.

(03:49):
Yeah. See, underage, you knew it.
You went with it. You went ahead and did it anyway.
Well, if he did anything.
Well, if he didn't know it, that still would not hold up in court, bro.
But my only thing is this like that makeup.
Like, it's funny how that shit works, because when girls are younger, they try to like older,

(04:11):
use their makeup, and then when they're older, they try to like younger with the makeup.
So deadass.
That makeup is damn near plastic surgery, bro. That's the devil.
I'm the way the way that something is crazy, dog.
Bro, deadass.

(04:32):
Who knows? Like, maybe he just found out she was 17.
I ain't go lie, bro. Somebody.
So it's a little white girl.
Some of these white girls are talented with makeup.
They'd be making themselves look light skinned.
Oh, you think she was like a black light skinned?
Yeah, like that type shit.
Like, what's her name? Bad baby?

(04:55):
The one you remember her.
Yeah, she looks light skinned now.
I remember Iggy Azalea.
She white?
She white as hell, bro.
Bad baby white. I thought that bitch was light skinned.
That bitch white as hell, bro.
Damn.
That's the cash me outside, bitch.
Cash me outside. That bitch white as hell, bro.
Damn.

(05:17):
I thought she was black.
She look light skinned as hell.
That's crazy.
No, I don't know if it's a sickness or not either.
What do you mean?
What goes through a white woman's head to make themselves look like that?
Like, that's not you.
Oh my God.

(05:38):
But it's probably like, I don't know.
Maybe she wanted to be with the culture.
Maybe she was like a boo from Malibu's Most Wanted.
Hey, facts.
Just a black man trapped in a white man's body.

(05:59):
That's exactly how it could be.
That's crazy.
But yeah, bro, some of these white women be looking light skinned, bro.
But I mean, well, shit.
That's just a tough situation, bro.
I know myself.

(06:20):
If a 17-year-old girl, I got to know you 17 first.
Like, in the messages first.
Like, on fire, she's your age, it better not have a teen in it.
No teen.
No teen in that motherfucker.
We better be able to go to the bar illegally.
Oh, God.
Yes.
Dead ass.

(06:41):
Dead ass, bro.
If you're not old enough to buy cigarettes or alcohol, stay away from me.
For real.
Stay away.
Dead ass.
There are some other predators out there, but stay away from me.
That's crazy.
No, the predator is really crazy, bro.

(07:02):
Like, I really don't understand what makes a man go after someone so young.
Did he just?
Because he was what, 21?
Did he just turn 21 or something?
He probably did just turn 21.
I mean, once you hit 18, it's still illegal.
That's tough.
Once you hit 18, anything under that, because underage.

(07:23):
Right?
Yes and no.
I mean, there are instances where...
Like high school type shit.
High school type shit, like you were 17 and you started dating a 15 year old.
That's still weird in high school anyway, but it happens.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Okay.
But that man came from Australia, met her when she was 15.

(07:45):
And I think he was 18 at the time.
I'm just putting it into a scenario.
Nah, yeah.
I get what you're saying.
Yeah.
So he was never good from the beginning.
Damn.
Like, yes, from the start, bro.
I'm sorry.
The history is catching up to you.
It catches up.
It's catching up to you, bro.
He's trying to be like Leonardo DiCaprio, but that man, that man going too young.

(08:09):
You know, Leo only go for girls younger than 25.
And she hit that magic number.
Yo, yo, yo, insurance went down.
You gotta go.
Damn.
Nah, Leonardo DiCaprio is crazy for that, bro.

(08:30):
Young goodness.
Where's Kevin Simmons when you need him?
I'm going to speak some sense into that, man.
Bro.
Cuss his ass out.
Dead ass.
Dead ass?
Yeah, cuss his ass out.
He needs some sense.
I ain't saying he's stupid, but I don't know.
It's giving me Predator vibes.

(08:54):
Thanks.
OK.
Shit.
But man, yeah, Josh is definitely going through a lot of stress with that shit.
Yeah.
I can only imagine.
You think he can kick that NBA?
Nigga, he might get kicked out of this country.
Fuck the NBA.
Yeah, you got bigger, bigger fish to fry, bro.

(09:17):
You make an NBA look bad.
So you don't want you up out of there.
He got to be a part of their bracket.
Even what they did to fucking damn, I was just thinking about his name was the guy from Memphis that went to the Rockets.
Dylan, Dylan Brooks, Dylan Brooks, Dylan Brooks.
You know, what he did, all he did was he was just competitive, you know, talking trash.

(09:41):
They sent him to the Gulag for a minute.
For real, bro.
Dog, they hit what Memphis did to Dylan Brooks was was that's crazy.
I was messed up.
I was messed up.
Yeah, that man had y'all back.
Y'all straight up.
Yeah, like, like, Luke said, sent them to the Gulag.
He disappeared for like two months or something like that.

(10:03):
And then I turned on the TV and he was on the Rockets.
If they could sacrifice him to some God, they would.
Yeah, I mean, they definitely would.
That's crazy.
But, man, you know what?
What it's starting to look like is maybe Josh Gidey might get away with it.

(10:24):
I'll keep getting away with that because the NBA has yet to make any comments.
I understand that they have just started investigating.
But this did the parents know him?
Apparently, man.
See, the parents be on that weird shit, bro.
Remember, just like the R. Kelly girls or whatever.
They were sending their little girls to go see him or whatever.

(10:47):
You know, he read she probably was giving them something in exchange.
And to them, it was like worth it or whatever.
Yeah, it's fucked up.
But just saying, like, I think that need to fall on her parents, too, like,
especially if they knew this age difference or whatever.
But your daughter dating this upcoming NBA player.
And it's like, yeah, bro, I don't even be knowing what we're going through.

(11:09):
The parents had to be trying to exploit and try to take advantage and shit like.
Yeah, that shit is crazy, bro.
They probably wasn't in for the money.
I'm not saying for sure, but judging from history and shit with, you know,
situations like this, the parents had something to do with this shit.
You know, you know, you know what they say about history.

(11:31):
It always repeats itself.
Always repeats itself.
And we and this is a scenario that I don't know.
We've seen seen quite a few.
Ain't nothing new under the sun, bro.
We've seen it.
Seen the way I look exactly the same, but it feels the same.
I just I just don't like how the NBA nitpicks, bro, like.

(11:57):
Let's say, for instance, I think what Ja Morant and Kyrie Irving did
is far less like talking about the gun thing and sharing the link.
Like, what was Kyrie said about again?
The bubble just sharing a link to a book.

(12:18):
On Amazon, it's his belief, though, because because everyone because everyone
is so up in arms against his belief.
See, that's that's the one thing I don't get to.
Like people always trying to push their beliefs on like onto another person.
Oh, yeah, yeah, I remember.

(12:39):
I remember. Yeah, yeah, because they wasn't fucking with Kyrie because of his beliefs.
But it's like what they got to do with two.
I remember he was like he was going to the court.
He was like Sajed in the court or some shit like that.
They had it out on TV.
I'm like, OK, he got him a little ritual or or whatever.
So yeah, but like that's him.

(13:01):
What does that have to do with you?
Exactly. Yeah. And and that's that's what it's so crazy, dog.
Especially John Moran shit.
I understand showing a gun is kind of crazy.
That is a crazy image.
It's not like he fired a bitch, though.
Come on. Now, that is true.

(13:23):
But I did. They started making hella videos about him.
Javik. Yeah, Javik.
Some part, some part, some parts I can understand because the NBA was trying to make him the face of the league.
Yeah. And then it's like, you know, he got all these people looking up to him.
So he prides himself in making the NBA look bad, waving guns and shit.

(13:44):
Almost. So that so that much I can understand because the NBA and guns like that is kind of crazy.
Not for sure.
Like you're hella rich.
You got anything you want.
The fuck you doing in the hood waving a gun?
No. Yeah. You bring in that hood shit to the NBA.
It's supposed to be a place where you make it out, make money, professional dreams.

(14:07):
Yeah. And it's all professional, too.
It's literally the greatest gift you can give a black man is a chance in the NBA.
I'm not going to lie, bro.
I'm not going to lie. That's probably the best gift you can give a black man.
Or I guess any black athlete at whatever sport they pursue.
Oh, yeah. Black athlete. Yeah.

(14:29):
I mean, OK.
How about just being involved in the NBA?
Like, I don't know, like like work in the office.
I don't know. Just being just being anywhere, being anywhere around the NBA.
Like that's I tell you that right now. That's my dream.
I'd love to be just around the NBA. Hang with the players and shit.

(14:52):
Oh, yeah. Pretty game warm up.
Yes, sir. Being King James, my king. Yes, sir.
Taco Tuesday. Invite me. Invite me. I've been waiting.
Hey, hey, 500K or dinner with LeBron James.
That's a question.

(15:13):
You remember there used to be a question about Jay-Z.
Like it'll be like, would you would you go on a dinner with Jay-Z or take five hundred thousand dollars?
Well, honestly, for this should I take the dinner with LeBron? Tell me, come get on this podcast.
Get on the healing club. Oh, God.
Come get on this podcast. You know, do a couple of episodes with us.
Bring that Taco Tuesday bullshit to me.

(15:38):
Damn. But I'm not to tell him I ain't here to eat LeBron.
Oh, yeah. Oh, no. I put that menu away. I'm here to talk.
We're here to heal. We got to have our healing conversation.
We need you on Saturday so we can drop this episode on Monday.
Don't put no stress on us. Oh, God.

(15:59):
Dog. I think.
I don't know how LeBron's life been in the NBA, but I bet that it should have been stressful.
Yeah. 21 years in the NBA and people are expect not expecting you.
They've been I mean, yes, people have expectations, but but at this point, they're just they're just clowning now.
I think I'm unstoppable, bro.

(16:24):
And so in terms of personal success and the level and impact that the player had, who like who did you think was better?
LeBron or Jordan? LeBron.
I say LeBron to Jordan was a winner six championship.
And we watched the last dance to everybody say he was an asshole.

(16:45):
He was an asshole. Did none of them like him? I didn't. And then. And it can't be a problem.
Yeah. And then there's Robin. That's wild.
Dennis Rodman had an interview and was like, man, I ain't never talked to Jordan like ever.
Yeah. Like they only talk on the court. Like that was it.
I was like, damn, I ain't got no relationship. You would think they had that real good chemistry.

(17:07):
Right. Because I guess that's what you need to get to the championships and shit.
But I don't think I don't think Dennis Rodman was the was the type of person for Jordan anyway,
like as a friend, because he said, I need a vacation during the playoffs, bro.
What the hell are you talking about, bro? A vacation.

(17:33):
We are here competing to play off.
Apparently, that man disappeared in Vegas.
And Rodman was his own.
His own person is a character.
Robin is his own person.
When he dated Madonna and shit.

(17:55):
I'm like, bro, fucking Carmen Electra and the Bulls practice and the head coach room office.
That's just crazy. Yeah. He took Carmen Electra to Phil Jackson's office.
He's on his desk. Oh, damn.
That man was different. But then again,

(18:16):
the 90s, that whole era was different, honestly.
They probably had like the high tech cameras in the hallways. Oh, yeah.
So probably a lot of stuff they could do.
Yeah, they definitely did a lot more with less eyes on them. Exactly.
Like if you if you thought today was bad, bro, you just seeing you just seeing it

(18:41):
because we just happen to record everything. I bet the 90s was crazy.
Even even some clips of what's that? What's that thing that they have in Atlanta?
Freak Nick Freak Nick. Somebody's mom is up in there.
Like definitely a freak Nick happened today.

(19:02):
I'm going to be 10 years from now. I'm definitely all picks and all your picks, all your videos.
I won't even think 10 years from now, probably five years from now.
Not even we won't be talking about that shit.
You know, that's the crazy thing about memes, bro.
That shit does not die. I mean, from 20, a meme from 2013 is still alive.
Now, I got to it, especially if you can apply it to pretty much anything, anything, bro.

(19:29):
You know that, you know, that meme is a post of this dude at his funeral.
I came I came to my funeral just to see the fucking dead one last time.
What? That's an IG post from 2013.
He says a meme right now and is still being used. Damn.
Memes are eternal. So if if they were to be like a freak, Nick was to be a thing like now,

(19:55):
that should be eternal. And imagine the stress that females will have to go through seeing that shit every day.
Moral of the story. Don't become a meme. Don't become a meme.
Don't I guess put yourself you should always put yourself in good positions, man.
I mean, it's tough. It definitely is tough.
Like, it's a lot is like life ain't fair. I'll put it at that.

(20:21):
You're going to you're going to try things and it's not going to work out.
Then you're going to stick with the one thing that actually does work out.
But it's not as it probably isn't the way to go.
Right. Like it could probably bring on more stress onto you.
Like there are such things as bad opportunities.

(20:45):
Um, I guess I guess this can be an example.
So my so my orders to Italy.
Two weeks before I got my words to the bro, I bought that Camaro.
Mm hmm. I was trying to get to California.

(21:06):
I was trying to make a life in California, bro. They send me to Italy.
I had plans to do it. Kelly, I'm so stressed about a brand new Camaro.
This bitch said, congratulations on your orders to Italy.
What? I've been picking California for the last three months.
How did I end here? My profile said California.

(21:31):
I was so stressed out. I'm like, all right, then.
Well, how the fuck am I going to get to Italy now? Right.
Damn. They have me go to all this extra.
I mean, it's whatever the whole medical screening you said.
But I was kind of late on it because I really did not want to go to Italy.
They talk about if you don't get the screening done, we might have to fill your orders.

(21:56):
They won't send me to a rag in Virginia, bro.
That would put me even more stressful.
That's trash. They would have had me working even harder than I was for the next three years.
Nope. I was like, yeah, I'll go to Italy.
Let me get this medical screening done.
Whatever. But I liked it. I liked it.

(22:21):
I'm glad I went to Italy. That's so fun.
Were you in Bupai, too? What part was you in?
I was in Naples. Naples. I said Naples. Naples.
Naples is crazy, bro. So they call it the armpit of Italy because that place.
It stinks. No, it's trash.

(22:42):
I mean, how Italy is shaped. It looks like an armpit. Yeah, it looks like a pit.
But it definitely makes sense when you apply the jokes to it.
Because Naples is trash. It's literally trash bags everywhere.
Imagine if San Diego stopped using the public trash receptacles and just started dumping their trash in the street.

(23:12):
That is exactly what Naples looked like.
Don't sound tempting to visit.
It's actually kind of crazy because I looked into it.
So, you know, the Camorra.
Well, they are probably the most dangerous gang, like collectively in the world.

(23:36):
Like a mafia? Italian. They control all of Italy, bro.
But they definitely running Naples. That's their home headquarters.
They definitely run Naples.
Damn. That's how that's how big the Camorra is.

(23:57):
And I've seen I've seen Godfather and fucking with them mobsters.
Yeah, I got it. Yeah. Can't eat here.
All right. And so something happened 20 years ago where the Camorra ordered everyone like they like they just like they just dirty the streets.
The whole Camorra gang. They like all the trash services.

(24:23):
Yes. The trash service.
So people just what building up trash with nowhere for it to go nowhere for it to go.
The Camorra cut that shit off.
They're trying to prove a point. I think so.
I like I read like a little bit into it.
It was because of the Camorra and probably it was to prove a point, man.

(24:44):
Because why else why else would a gang do this and that?
Why you why you what what did innocent Italians got to do with this?
But don't go after me. We the healing club.
I don't care what y'all do. I want nothing to do it. I don't want nothing to do with it.
In fact, I support it.
Throw that trash in the street.

(25:06):
I don't need that stress.
But my time in Italy, bro, was not stressful at all.
No, that was fun. Like I like if any any military members watching this, I highly suggest doing overseas tour.
That's just fun. Married or single, like even married.

(25:27):
Like you like you could take your wife to Spain.
You could take your wife to to the Netherlands.
You could take your wife anywhere in Europe.
You just backpack across your effects. Yeah. Trains, planes.
Like when I when I was in Italy, I had me a little Italian stallion.
I already talked about her a little bit, but that was like episode two or one, two, three.

(25:52):
I bring her up, you know, she was a big part of my life.
So she's going to come up a lot.
And yeah, we used to travel a lot, bro. We went to Barcelona.
She put me through stress because I was looking, I was looking everywhere. I had to go to Barcelona again about her.
I had to go there with my homie.
You tripping dog.

(26:15):
There's a lot of eye candy out here.
I'm sorry.
I'm so sorry. I don't know no better, but I'm better now.
I wouldn't put a woman through that kind of stress now.
But back then, I wanted to see it.
I thought about going to Europe.
I mean, Europe is all right, bro.

(26:43):
But I'll tell you this right now.
Like nothing beats the convenience that we have in the States.
Oh, yeah. We can go outside and get them out and do get something to eat.
Go back in with your AC or your heat, whatever it is you need.
Watch Netflix, Prime, whatever.
Even the little shit like thank God I am alive.

(27:07):
And today now, because I was a habitual drunk driver in Italy, we had no Uber.
So we had no Uber, bro. It was it was you.
It was all you make sure you make sure you make sure you good.
The only way home is to drive the only way home was to drive.

(27:28):
So like we used to pack our cars with other people.
Somebody was going to be sober. Yeah.
Nobody was ever sober, but I was always the best at driving.
So damn, it's habitual.
It was every weekend.
I'm so glad that we go to Rome, though, so I don't have to drive in Rome.

(27:49):
We used to take we used to take the bullet train dog.
That's it. You should go 200 kilometers an hour.
That's where it's hot.
That how much is 200 kilometers an hour in miles?
How much is 170 something?
That's a mouth. So, yeah, no, one hundred twenty four miles per hour.
That's how fast this train was moving in two hours.

(28:11):
I'm not in one hour. We got to Rome.
Oh, damn. I think a car ride would have what it took like two, three hours.
Yeah. Yeah. No, that bullet train booking that bitch fucking dog a nap and we there.
Mm hmm.
Should we pull up to Rome at like nine, nine, nine at night, checking the Airbnb and then get hit the streets.

(28:34):
That's it. It's fun.
I sound like you got some good times over there.
Yeah. The only the only stress was was the Italian stallion.
Where you at? Why are you in Rome? Why can't you bring me?
It's a bachelor party. No girls allowed.
No girls allowed. Sorry.

(28:56):
No, I'm definitely better now.
I don't think I've learned from that.
I don't think I could. No, I would never put a woman through that kind of stress over again because that in turn, you're going to get that shit back.
That shit comes back and it comes back in different forms, like in ways you expect because my ex used to put me like I want to say she used to put me through stress, but things in the relationship would put me through stress.

(29:25):
Yeah.
I guess I would fall short sometimes, you know, doing doing the right things and that would put stress on me.
What do you mean? Like,
for instance,

(29:48):
I'm trying to I'm trying to think of a scenario like where I really failed my girl.
So lately, I used to lie a lot. I'm not going to lie. I used to lie a lot and they catch up.
So they caught up one time with me and it just it put me through so much stress, bro.

(30:15):
Like, I can't I can't even remember what the lie was about, but it was a stupid lie. It was pretty stupid.
It was so stupid. Like, there was no point in saying it in the first place.
It was a way for me to travel alone somewhere and we ended up arguing for two weeks.

(30:38):
Like, that's the thing about a relationship, bro, like you can't you can't lie and you can't keep things from from from your partner. You got to you got to be 100 with them. It has to be transparent.
It has to be transparent to avoid any stress.
Yeah, I feel that 100 percent. But if you're in a relationship, you're going to deal with stress, right? Don't deal with unnecessary stress.

(31:05):
That's why that's why you saying communicate. Yeah.
Like, just keep it a hundred. Yeah, keep it a hundred. Communication can literally like I was I'm sorry I was young, stupid as hell.
No, we all didn't went through it. But communication is so important, bro.
Like communication, understanding and communicating back.

(31:29):
Like, I can't be talking and you have to listen. You have to be willing to listen like hearing things is one is another thing. But you have to listen.
And and while you're listening, like if you can't understand, like you have you have to say it like I don't understand what you're talking about.

(31:52):
But ways to manage the manage stress, bro, I'll tell you this right now. A lot of us would turn to the bottle at the smallest amount of stress.
I will tell you this right now. Alcohol.
Scientifically, alcohol is a depressant. Yeah.

(32:13):
That shit will put you down more than you are right now.
I've seen it too many times. People turn into the bottle and then want to drink their their pain away. I get having fun.
You got it. But you got it. You got to realize what you're doing to yourself.
Yeah, that's not not a healthy way of trying to get yourself back on track.

(32:38):
Yeah, that's that's not the way to heal. You're just going to bury yourself.
I do something stupid. I say something stupid, right?
And drinking it is not the answer. Yeah.
What one has drinking ever took off stress from somebody like if anything, it has more stress.

(32:59):
I mean, I get it. You might essentially feel better. Right.
Yeah, you feel better. You get a little buzz or whatever.
But your problem, whatever it is, is still going to be there once you come down from your little buzz.
So then you're going to feel worse because you spent all this time drinking.
You could have been put your mind to a solution or how to get to that next plateau or whatever to get you out of this stress.

(33:29):
Yeah. Yeah. The problem that's creating the stress is still there.
When you drink, drinking has never solved an issue ever.
And if anything, it could create more issues like like with the greatest will saying you could say the wrong things should you could get into a fight.
You could you could get in trouble with the law. I don't know.
There's so many so many intangibles that go into drinking, but they're all bad.

(33:54):
No, for real. Like, it's not even good for your liver.
Like, it's liver. Everything about alcohol is bad. It's bad.
Honestly, it's bad. Like if you drink it occasionally, you know, you like to have fun.
And we're not judging you or anything like that. But we just like saying like alcohol is not a good thing.
It's how you use it. Yeah. Like like all things in life is how you use the alcohol.

(34:16):
Like if you're depressed, I wouldn't drink alcohol. Alcohol is good for celebrations and stuff because everyone's already in a good mood. Yeah, that's true.
Yeah. And moderation. Yeah. Like everything has to be done in moderation.
Like, I understand it's tough to stay away from the bottle, especially when you're stressed.

(34:41):
Yeah. And for them people out there that like the drink and blackout that ain't cool. That's not cool.
That's not cool. Like at all. Like think about the family members and friends.
That's like the stress that you're putting them through because you're putting yourself in harm's way. That's crazy.
That's what I mean. Like if you drink right, you go out and the next day somebody like, oh, how was your night?

(35:04):
You say you can't remember nothing. It's not a good thing. That's not a good thing. It might be funny.
Yeah. Like I get it when you're younger. It's like, oh, I can't remember. Oh, that's awesome, bro.
Like, no, not that I'm grown. It's like, not that I'm grown. That ain't for me. But it's not. It's not cool, bro.

(35:25):
I'm not gonna lie, man. Being drunk in public is kind of scary, too, because you are you are you are so dependable.
You are so dependent right now. You like you are. How can I say? Not exposed, but yeah, you are. Yeah.
But you're vulnerable, vulnerable, vulnerable as fuck because you're drunk as hell. Yeah. Yeah.

(35:46):
Coordination is gone. True. Like in your thinking is gone, too. It's so scary.
Like it's like when you're in public like that, like anybody could do anything to you right then and there.
And now you can do it. But so got to be like you got to be careful when you're drinking outside.
Definitely. Yeah. But everything has to be done in moderation and especially especially with drinking because that you what what you're trying to do right now is to is to relieve your stress.

(36:17):
You're trying to solve this problem so you won't have stress anymore.
I know it a lot of stressful situations. We're talking about Navy stuff.
We can whatever I'll tell you this right now. All my stress has came from the Navy and all and all my you want to know what was stressful, bro?

(36:44):
Probably some of my most stressful times was probably I want to say when I first got out the Navy, I say that.
Yeah, like when I first got out was probably the most stressful time only because one I knew I wanted to get out.

(37:06):
Then I got out and it was like, oh, shit. Okay, I'm out now with the fucking mother do type shit.
And then like having a constantly like, let me try this and try this. That was trash. This was trash. No shit. Just wasn't clicking or whatever.
Right. Yeah, I'm going through the same thing. Everything was just wasn't clicking, bro.

(37:28):
And I was kind of like, you know, did I make the right decision? Maybe I should have did like another two years or something like that.
Maybe I should did this. But luckily, as you know, Tom kept going and and eventually you keep going out there, you don't find something that you like.

(37:49):
And I'm finding something that I like. So I got better. But that whole road, bro, was just like, what the fuck? Like, you know, now I'm going to roller coaster myself.
And this shit has more downs and ups, obviously. But I can't say that that I kind of like I never doubted my decision on getting out of the military because I knew I needed to.

(38:14):
Yeah, I knew I knew I needed to. I knew I knew I was too good to be there.
Shout out to everybody in the Navy. Yeah, we need you. We love you. Thank you.
But one for you. I wouldn't be able to do this right now.
Not for like not nine and a half, 10 years in the Navy. I have to say thanks to them.

(38:36):
But I cannot I cannot go go down that same path that they're going down right now. I can't I can't support it and I cannot cannot be in I cannot be around it.
Oh, God. It's a you. It used to be a thing that I could get behind the Navy and what we were doing and how we did things.

(38:58):
I just can't get I can't get behind it right now. And me personally, when I when I when I I would say I woke up and had a revelation.
When I when I when I found myself, I just knew I knew the military wasn't wasn't going to be in plans because I had in my head I wanted to do so much.

(39:22):
And one of the things I wanted to do is what we're doing right now.
Okay. It was not going to happen in the Navy with the stress that they were putting me through, dog.
Like I think I was probably the only one I'm like, I won't bullshit you, bro.
I could probably be the only one in that easy shop right now. And everyone can stay home and we will and we will still run normally.

(39:46):
Because I'm literally the only one that ever works. You were getting out at the time. So nothing was on you.
I'm talking about I'm so fucking pissed right now thinking about it, bro. I'm talking about our leader that wants to go on three hour lunch breaks.
I'm talking about who? Oh, never mind. Go ahead.

(40:10):
I'm talking about
talking about people that are supposed to be on the same level as me. But instead, we got we got one dude just so slow at work and rather have conversations like is never is really putting a bad name on my work ethic because people are expecting people are expecting things to get done.

(40:38):
And we got this RM. We got this tall big old guy that only ever wants to talk about sports and never gets the work done.
And if he starts working, it's going to be slow as shit and gets and it's going to get done within two weeks. I don't need that.
Another another person that's supposed to be on the same level as me is a is a is a female and

(41:06):
it's just never, never, never, never offered work.
Like she like she could she could did I stay home. Deadass.
Because the amount of times she did come to work like why why even bother. I've already did everything.
Yeah. So I knew I cannot be around that anymore, dog. And it may have been just that command. Now it's going to be like that for the rest of my career, because I went to other commands and saw how other Azs were, bro.

(41:40):
I'm like, Oh, no.
I hated all the Azs on that goddamn boat. I hated every single one except except you. But I hated every single fucking Az, bro.
I swear it was not on my level. That's how I thought.

(42:02):
I was against I was against that right. I was against that specific job. I hated every single Az.
Me like that, I guess, bro. I guess.
No, it shouldn't be because what like what what kind of stress what would make me feel hate and resentment for people that ain't even this to me.

(42:25):
Damn.
And I, I should have managed it better.
I should have managed it better. I didn't I didn't have I didn't have the proper stress management techniques, bro.
I'll tell you right now I was as much as I tell people to communicate and talk I'm usually the one bottling things up. And that's what that's really what happened.

(42:49):
That's what started my descent. That's why you like the healing club.
Is that the way you like it.
Yeah, definitely, because it's, it's taught me that I need to talk about things man like this shit should not be bottled up I've been bottling things up since since I was young man.

(43:10):
Yeah, even in high school middle school I never I never I never used to tell people was on was on my chest was on my mind.
No, I, I wouldn't always like that. It started it started leaking out when I was in the Navy I started snapping on people, but that's that's a retaliation and then we talked about that last episode over reactions and reactions.

(43:31):
Those were over reactions, the times that I did speak.
Those were those were emotional outbursts, because you wasn't used to expressing yourself. Not at all.
I had to get to that exact same shit.
Expressing myself, and I get at that shit. Sometimes, bro. I'm so bad at expressing myself for like, when I talk about it that shit don't make sense.

(43:58):
It comes out just in like a bunch of jibber jabber type shit like that I don't even know how to like, really like, speak what I'm feeling like I just if I'm feeling upset, and you want to know that I'm feeling like what's making me upset I'm gonna just talk to you.
And I'm upset tone.

(44:23):
Not that it's.
It's hard for me, it's hard for me to show their feelings, I'm not gonna lie, we, we, if anything we weren't ever taught how to show our feelings correctly we're always taught to be a man and to be tough.
Walk it off.
Walk it off. But like you can still be tough. You can still be you can still be that nigga and have emotions. You have to be in control of yourself. It's all about control.

(44:55):
Like if you don't have your emotions under control, and what's what's telling you that you're a man. Yeah, man has control.
Not true.
A man has control so that's that's an album self.
That's, yeah, the emotional outburst and, and, and all that crap like that, like overreactions and stuff that's that's not characteristics of a man like a man, a man thinks about every, every process that goes on and picks picks the best decision for everyone.

(45:34):
Yeah, no stress stress in the military I definitely I definitely could not stay in the military dog I'll tell you that right now.
It was too much.
That it's.
I like the decision on this. Yeah, I'm proud of you. I made, I made a crazy decision.
But I still stuck by my decision, because I wanted that I needed to get out quick fast and in a hurry.

(46:01):
I didn't want to get away from these people.
Sometimes you gotta, you gotta fucking go and go on your own.
You know, there's your life. You're gonna have to make something for yourself.
That that that is one way of dealing with stress if it, if it's a problem you gotta have to cut it off. Not for real.

(46:24):
If it's a problem, it has to be cut off. Yeah. Solved or cut off if it can't be solved it needs to be cut off.
And expressing yourself can help release stress too honestly, you know, maybe somebody at work, you know, always maybe treat you some type of way and, you know, maybe you ain't said nothing about it because, you know, you.

(46:49):
You don't want to hurt that person or maybe you don't want to make yourself look weak or something like that.
But now I know people write diaries, man, because they don't want to like I understand, like it just needs to be written out or just needs to be said period.
Nobody needs to hear it. Some people have diaries like I get it. Yeah, express yourself.

(47:10):
Don't be rude to nobody. Yeah, that's the number one thing is expressing yourself. The way the way that I can find like the best way that I can express myself is conversation.
Yeah. Well, that's how I learned. Yeah. Conversation always give you a different perspective to sir.
Like enough with niggas talking shit. Yeah. Oh God. Oh God. It's literally the best way to express and it's the most fun to everybody get their problems. Put them in a pile.

(47:41):
And then of course help each other, you know, but yeah, friend friends. Yeah, utilize your friends. Well, you call them a friend, right?
See, like this reach out to their friends, you know, friends are there to help each other and vice versa.
Like friendship is very important, man.

(48:03):
Like I don't I don't know how I would have I used to be very alone, man. I used to be very alone. I had friends, but I wouldn't call them friends for some reason for a long time.
Now, now I'm very expressive of myself. I used to be very prideful.
J.Cose pride is the devil. Pride is the devil dog. That's a that is a deadly sin.

(48:30):
You got to let go of the pride. Yeah, not for sure. I think that's a lot of that's a lot of that's a problem with young niggas too.
It was a problem with me. You couldn't tell me I was so prideful dog. I wouldn't listen to anyone.
Prize. Not really. Not really a good thing.

(48:53):
You got definitely got to let go of the pride and pause because I understand it can sound gay, but you have to open your mind a little bit.
I mean, not not in a sense like you can't be closed minded, but I want to say be open minded because that's that's kind of I don't know how to explain it.

(49:22):
Just be more open to to to what people have to say. Listen, listen.
Listening is a big thing, dog. Like you like that. Like I could talk to you all day, bro. All fucking day.
We could do this for two hours instead of one. But is anybody really listening?
So that's definitely that's definitely you have to talk to somebody that listens. A friend will always listen, but that's that's the best way I can manage stress, man. I have to talk about it. I have to get it off my chest.

(49:54):
Take your ass to the gym.
I worked out. See, that's one thing I got to get back to. I probably got to get back to the gym. I only worked out like three three times this year. My work has to be so good.
If I was like angry or something, bro or whatever it was, I'm like angry. I go to the gym. I work out, bro.
And I tell you, when I walk out, I don't even remember what the fuck I was mad about.

(50:18):
Not all. I'm my mind. My mind is now thinking about how how how pumped my fucking arms and chest. Oh, God.
Right. You looking at yourself. I'm a fucking man. I'm the I'm a fucking G. I'm the man. Yes. So definitely like working out is very empowering.
Yeah, she is. You're powered the fuck out of me. I used to be swole shit to going going to our pictures.

(50:42):
We used to be lit. Yeah, that's why it's definitely important to, you know, like Kyle Williams said, you know, you got to take care of that star player, which is yourself.
Right. Definitely make time for yourself. You know, do like a start like a ritual or some shit.

(51:03):
Don't like not all I know. Evil wizard type spirit. Do something that's authentic to you. Yeah. Yeah. That type of shit. Right.
I don't know. Go conjuring nothing. We don't want to conjure anything like you playing Hogwarts. I be conjuring all types of shit on Hogwarts. But Hogwarts go in.
I can't believe you just got on that. That should go in. Yeah.

(51:26):
You got like that like a restaurant you always you go to on like a Friday or something or every time you hit a goal, you go treat yourself to something or whatever. Like stuff like that is good to have. Yeah. Look out for yourself.
Like me, like my ritual. I'll give you, for example, it's stupid, but I do it because it makes me feel good. I wake up in the morning and I stretch.

(51:51):
That's a girl. Yeah, I stretch, make myself feel good. And they go ahead. Yeah. And if I did well, throughout the week, if I felt like I did well, you know, I would I would treat myself to like a steak and fries dinner. I would make myself steak and fries or I make myself chicken waffles.
Yeah, like I would treat myself like I would take care of myself. Yeah. I think one way that we all can start our day off right.

(52:16):
But, you know, completing one task, whatever it was, it should be a goal every morning. You know, make a bit. Make your bed. That's your first little success of the day. Your winner. Right. Just by making your bed, you are a winner.
And shit, most people don't even make their bed, dog. I'll tell you this right now. Most people are probably still in bed. Oh, yeah. True. It's like what? It's two o'clock here right now. So at the time of us recording. So if you've woke up, gotten out of your bed and made that bitch, you are on a good roll.

(52:52):
You want to your winner, bro. Every time you do it, you're a winner. Yeah. Honestly, try it. Try it because that shit is empowering. Pick up the clothes in your room to feel good to come home to a made bed, bro.
It may be you just jump on it, lay out. That's it. That's it. That's a feel good. Fine. Fine. Yeah. Fine. Things that are authentic to you make you feel make you feel good. Treat yourself. Definitely. Take care of yourself because come on, dog. You really want to go through the stress.

(53:29):
Be for real. Be for real. Take care of yourself. Me, I'd like to solve the problem, but I have no qualms and cutting problems off, too. So solve or cut them off. But that problem cannot stay around. Yeah, definitely.

(53:51):
Stress kills, bro. Yeah, man. Manage that stress as best as you can. Honestly, I'm not going to lie. Some forms of stress are good for you because it does give you an edge. I'm not going to lie. Makes you stronger.
I want to say it's almost like having a boss having their foot on your neck. But in a good way because it gets you going. How can that be in a good way? Because it gets you going. It's used as a motivation almost.

(54:25):
Yeah, but I think you can use it as motivation. I see what you're saying. Yeah.
Like a little bit of stress. Like I'll say, like, for instance, at work back in the Navy, I could be tasked by both of our warrant officers. And that would be like a good amount of stress for me because that would keep me occupied throughout the day.

(54:51):
I guess. Okay. Yeah. Okay. Yeah. Like I need something to do throughout the day. You gave me a little bit of stress. All right. I'll take care of it. Yeah. I got to like that. I mean, minus all the other shit that you got on my plate, but I could take care of these two things.
A little bit of stress. But yeah, man. Definitely with stress, there's always a problem that's to that stress. And those are the two things that you can do with it. You either deal with it or you cut it off. And I think that's all we have for everyone today, man.

(55:30):
That was a good conversation. That is, man. It was. Moral of the story. Expressed yourself. Yeah. Nah, definitely express yourself. Find things that you like to do. You know, treat yourself on your victories. You know. A personal note. Stay away from alcohol if you stress too. Yeah. Alcohol is just going to bury you some more. So it's not good.

(55:55):
It's not good. Alcohol has never solved the problem. No, it hasn't. Unless you want to start a fire. You're looking for something to help you with this fire. Alcohol will help you. Anything goes. Alcohol is not the answer, bro. At all. Talk to your family. Talk to your friends. Talk to somebody. Shit. It's not good to talk to yourself. But if you're not the time you don't want to.

(56:23):
We can retie to us. Hey, we are the healing club. We are the healing club podcast. We like to talk. Yeah. You retie to us and we'll give you some tips. For sure. Like everyone got us on IG, Facebook, Twitter. I'm always on them. Yeah. Send a message, bro. We will send you a tip.

(57:03):
