(00:00):
Yo, yo, yo, what is good? What's going on? What's up people? Hopefully I ain't talking too loud.

(00:21):
Nah, you're good bro. But this is the Healing Club Podcast, Episode 6. We are back again.
Let's get with you bro.
Shit, man.
Shit, my fault.
You straight?
It's just us again. Me and Oluc the Greatest. I am your host, The Last Sean. I feel like I don't use a nickname, so we're gonna go with that.

(00:47):
The Last Sean.
On this day, December 2nd.
I'll be the last Sean you'll ever know.
And the only Sean you need to know.
The only one. Deadass. Like that. Yeah.
But, we're gonna go ahead and get started. So, my fault. We gotta get the little drink going on. It is Saturday. Happy Saturday. Go ahead and get y'all drink on.

(01:13):
In the previous episodes, it sounded like we was against drinking. I'll tell you this right now. We some alcoholics. But we do it in good taste.
Yes, for good purposes. Not to wash away our problems.
Yeah, no. That's not what it's used for.
Let's clean it up right now.
Alcohol for fun. I'm having fun with this bitch.

(01:34):
We are responsible adults.
Oh, excuse me. I'm gonna try to stop cursing too. I don't understand how I can curse on a show about healing.
But then again, bro, we was in the Navy, bro.
Like, actually, my nana used to tell my mom that, oh, you cuss like a sailor. My mom used to cuss up the storm.

(01:59):
Then I went to the Navy. Now I know you was wrong. She don't cuss that much.
My dad had called me one time. I will never forget it too. Because I think that's what he thinks of me at that time.
He called me up one time talking about some son. You up there drinking, smoking, and cussing.

(02:23):
It is Saturday night, papa. I'm sorry.
But I was definitely doing all three.
Definitely cussing a lot.
But we're going to go ahead and get started, y'all.
So first and foremost, if you're out there, you're hurting, going through things that are just unbearable for yourself to get through.

(02:51):
There is the suicide hotline. If there's no other way.
The digits are 988. You can call or text this number. There's always people there ready to help you.
And remember, everything is confidential. You got to worry about them telling your business to the world or whatever.
That's between you and whoever is working with you so that you can get better. Remember that.

(03:17):
Professional help. These are professionals.
I've said it before in a lot of episodes. I'm always saying this is the era that everyone usually speaks out.
I'm telling you, back then, you cannot vocally tell people your problems.

(03:45):
You can, but the way people acted back then...
You told somebody your problems back then.
You was getting all that.
The F word, the R word. All of that.
It was definitely a different era. This is definitely a good time if you're actually hurting.

(04:07):
I'm telling you, reach out to those people. 988, the suicide hotline.
Understand this. I know we tell you this every episode in the introduction about the awareness or whatever.
We practice what we preach. We tell each other about everything.
We even talk about stuff to y'all. We don't know y'all, but airing stuff out sometimes is good. It's healthy.

(04:35):
I hate to say that I use this as a release because I really don't. These are our legit stories that we use to help everyone progress through life in a better manner.
We are very dedicated to being your number one podcast on mental health awareness.

(04:59):
Today's episode is going to be about...
This probably might be the oldest topic in mental health. It's old as a Bible, dog.
Depression. It's been here since the beginning. We all go through that shit.

(05:20):
I'm pretty sure that is the first emotion somebody feels.
I said a curse word. My bad.
We need a swear jar.
We're going to get a healing podcast swear jar from this bitch.
Next topic is going to be language. We need to work on that.
We're going to work on our language. Nah, I language alright. Fuck that.

(05:44):
Look at this.
I'm alright. I went 28 years with this. I think I'll be alright.
Since we're doing an episode about depression, you being a Detroit native, a Detroit sports fan, being all Detroit everything, you must know a little bit about depression.

(06:07):
Speaking of Detroit, I know my uncle is probably going to watch this video.
He actually gave me this hat right here.
Shout out, Detroit Deluxe Detailing.
That's his company, his brand.
If you're in Michigan, bro, you want that five star, six star detailing. Hit him up, bro.

(06:33):
Just get on the internet, type it in, put in your appointment. He'll retire to you.
Y'all go from there, bro. What's the name again? What he called again?
Deluxe Detailing, Detroit.
Deluxe Detailing.
And he mobile detailing too. He'll come to you.
Hit us up in the comments and we'll plug you for sure.
You shouldn't be riding around with a dirty whip. If you know that you're around Deluxe Detailing Detroit, there's no excuse.

(06:58):
So what's going on with Detroit, man?
What's the word? What's new? What's wrong with the pistons?
You know there's a thing about November.
Now they know when November.
They got one win, bro.
That hurt. That hurt.
Look, man, it's the beginning of the season.

(07:23):
And we got a fresh new team. We got some young players, bro.
Personally, I don't really have no opinions about it.
The only thing I can say is we'll see what happens over time.
I mean, with a young team, I guess that's all you can do.

(07:45):
I'm waiting on Cunningham to turn up, though. I like Cunningham.
I'm waiting on them to trade him.
To wear the hawks.
I'm just waiting. We got Clint Capella for him.
Oh, wait. Actually, I like Clint Capella, though. Low-key.
He's starting to get old.

(08:06):
Maybe I like him on 2K because he blocks every goddamn thing.
Remember we used to have them 2K battles on the ship?
No, we definitely was.
Shout out to V, man. I'm not going to say his name, but he know who he is.
He'll watch this, too.
He know who he is. Shout out to him, man.
We used to run 2K matches all the time on deployment.

(08:31):
Shout out to V for not getting depression for all the times that we...
Yeah, it's pretty bad. We love you, though, V, man. You the man, doc.
The man V ain't won one game.
It's okay. We love you, doc. You're our bro, man, for life, doc.
No, V won a couple. The couple that he won, I would never expect he won neither.

(08:53):
He actually did catch up.
Who was the team he would always use? Was it the hawks?
Yeah, it was the hawks. It would be the hawks.
And he would use Trey Young like he was LeBron. It worked.
Yeah, it does work. Yeah. Trey Young got it on 2K. What 2K was that? 20?
We put in so much hours into 2K 20.
Oh, yeah. Yeah, so.

(09:14):
I think we had mastered that game. We definitely mastered that game.
Like, I was hitting all kinds of crazy shots. I wouldn't even green them.
They just go into... We mastered that game.
The amount of time that we put in that game is on golly, bro.
It might be the same amount of time that y'all put in like a year's worth of work.

(09:38):
That's how much we put into... No, dead ass. Dead ass.
It was on a buff or what? It was on a boat, yeah.
But we was on there for like 10 months. 10 months.
Pretty much a year. 12 hours every day.
Literally after 12 hours.
And the work ups. So we did do two months on a boat prior to deployment.

(10:00):
So that's pretty much... That's a year.
You wanna know what's crazy? Huh?
This might have been like my... I don't know why. My greatest skating period ever.
Like, I could not get caught by the Navy for some reason. I did not go on any underweights.
Because when I was on there, I was on there with KJ. You remember KJ? I don't wanna say her name.

(10:23):
Yeah, yeah. I remember. Yeah, I remember.
KJ was the homie for sure. We was like this, bro.
We ain't fuck with nobody, but that was my homie.
You wanna go eat? Yeah, let's go eat. We did everything together.
We ain't really fuck with nobody like that.
Man, um, really, I really didn't talk to anybody except y'all, man.

(10:45):
Like that... I was going to do it on that boat.
Even before going on deployment with all the...
It was a lot of drama before we got on the boat for some reason.
I should say that. So I was already going to do it before I got on the boat.
Minus the work stuff. For some reason, I'm always going through something.

(11:08):
I'd be like, that was a stressful time though, you know, because of COVID and all of that.
And all of that... What do you call it? What was it called? The bubble?
The bubble. Yeah, plus all of that.
Damn, what is it called? It was definitely the bubble.
I forgot the word for it. I'm lost right now. It's already cute.
Quarantine? Quarantine. There it is right there. Yeah.

(11:30):
I kept thinking corn in my head. I just couldn't get the rest of the word.
Quarantine. Yes. Quarantine prior to deployment was rough, bro.
So we definitely learned a lot of mental health awareness.
And, you know, after going through all of that, you know, and we was able to, you know, find a lot of solutions.

(11:54):
So that's why we always stick to mental health because we didn't bend through a lot of that.
Right. So we got some advice for you to get better, whatever you're going through.
So, you know, as the episodes progress, it's always another topic.
You know what I'm saying? Pretty sure that y'all might be going through or may have went through or maybe you stuck and you need some advice.
We got you, bro, because we didn't bend through it. We got you.

(12:18):
We didn't do too much. We didn't do too much.
Like, I'd hate to say like we're the experts on topics like this, but I feel like we've been through our fair share amounts that we can we can give you all some opinions that could help because I'm telling you, within the military, like even with the greatest, like with all the time he spent.

(12:44):
Like, it's enough. It's enough to make feel like to put somebody in the state of depression. Like, because it's tough, you know, because it's always tough skin.
But we niggas telling y'all like we've been through it.
Yeah.
And it sucks too, because it's really the most vulnerable time that you can go through.

(13:07):
Facts.
When we try to be the black man, we try to be try to like stay away from from being vulnerable to always be the strongest person.
You got a thick skin, you know, but
when it comes to, you know, vulnerability, that actually is a sign of strength.

(13:32):
You know, acknowledging.
Yeah, you got to know yourself.
Before you get caught up in it. Honestly, I think I think that could save a lot of people from depression.
Like, not just acknowledgement, but also awareness, awareness.
You got to know what's going on.
You got man.
So I guess I guess I got a got a good depression story for everyone.

(13:59):
So I spent the last, I would say three years in depression.
Yeah.
You guys are probably wondering, oh, wow, why do you spend so much time in depression?
I'll tell you.
You get.
Yeah, yeah, we'll cut it out. Yeah, you got it.

(14:23):
So I spent the last three years in depression due to hate to say it to
because I thought I was better than that.
But really, you really really really situations happen everywhere, man.
But I spent the last three years of depression because my ex.

(14:48):
Why? Why? Why? Why?
Why? Why are you in depression over a woman?
What happened, Sean?
I'm sorry. That was the best relationship I ever had, bro.
Like you. That this is what I mean by awareness.
Like you got to know what you have to.
A lot of factors go into life.

(15:11):
And I can understand life not being fair.
You got to cover all your bases, man.
Like you got to you got to know what you have.
I didn't know what I have.
It's like one of them things where you didn't know what you had till you lost it.
Yeah, type shit. That's like a lot like it made sense to break up.

(15:34):
Like it still it still makes all the sense in the world to stay broken up, too.
But at the time, you know, that like you.
It's hard to say. It's really hard to say.
It's human emotions are very hard to control.
Like I like we are like me.
I'm still healing from it to this day.

(15:58):
And I feel like I feel like it's just a I'm not saying I'm healing from the relationship.
I'm still I'm still learning from the decisions that I made.
You know, we're breaking up and we'll follow it after.
Yeah, like far as that, like I feel like a lot of that stuff can have a definitely a definite hit on your mental, you know, because essentially, you know, maybe when it when you first did break up, you know, you probably was thinking like maybe like, damn, I probably should have did this better.

(16:33):
Maybe it would have worked out differently or, you know, I could have did this or did that, you know, and just that could have would have should have that eat you up.
You know, it started hitting me when I started dating around and looking at looking at all the other options because you're looking for what you had and somebody else.
That's why I was looking. Yeah, I was looking. I was looking for it like the next Italian stallion.

(16:57):
Excuse me. Yeah, I see what you said.
Yeah, I was looking for the next because I thought it like literally after after all the dating and looking around like, man, it literally did not get better than that.
Mm hmm. I see what you're saying, bro.
But but man, it's like as like I got older, I started realizing like there's more like how many people are in this world?

(17:25):
Like six billion or something like that.
Too many people in this world to get hung up on one person. Honestly.
Yes, that's what I was thinking. So that's how that's how I kind of beat my depression.
Me, I'm a big picture type of guy, dog. I don't sweat the small stuff for some reason.
Like you told me some small shit. I'm like, what?
Where is like, I need the content I need. I need pause like the big meaty part.

(17:51):
Excuse me. Toss.
The drink turned to hit me. Oh, where are we going?
Where is we getting? And just I think I got some motivation for you, bro.
Now, OK, I say six billion, probably more, maybe less, you know, give or take.
It's a lot of people in this world. Right.

(18:13):
But the population of women outweighs the population of men. Yeah.
So technically, it's probably technically one guy has around like from a say around like 19, maybe the 21 women that he will fall in love with as he keeps dating or whatever.

(18:38):
How many times have you been in love? Was it just that one time or maybe two times?
You want to know the type of life skinned I am? What?
I'm the type to call my love. You always follow. OK. OK.
But like, I'll tell you this.
Sorry, ladies, if you are watching this and you are my ex, I only really loved one person and and I'm sorry.

(19:04):
I still love her, too. Well, I still have love for her.
Like, I'll never forget the time that we had because that's literally my my greatest relationship ever. It still is. So far. So far.
Yeah, that's how you look at it. So far. This was the best.
You know, you don't know what the future holds or what, you know, God might have waiting for you when you get to this point in your life.

(19:28):
You never know, man. That's the motivation is to keep going.
You keep trying. You're going to get what you want one day. You know what I'm saying?
That's bro. Like.
It is just it really is tough to like to go through to go through these, you know, the daily, the daily motions.

(19:50):
Yeah, it really is like and I understand people, too.
I mean, but that's that's why we're here, though, you know, because we've already been through it.
So and shoot, some of us are still healing, healing from it to this day.
You know, we're we're all here for each other.
That's that's what it means to be a human being.

(20:12):
That's what I at least that's what I think. You know, we all live in this world together.
No, I got to go through the same thing. It's literally nothing new under the sun, bro.
Nothing new under the sun. Everything that, you know, you might think is is still first time.
It might be your first time seeing it or experiencing it.
But it's been around since the beginning. Like nothing is new.

(20:36):
No, like like everything that you're feeling.
Yeah, they like I'm promise you, people have felt it before.
If if if you're just having a hard time, like, you know, how to how to respond to those feelings, too.
Like, I feel like that's that's a problem with us in our in our society.
We have an issue with responding to emotions like the correct way.

(20:59):
And like what depression like like how do you how do you handle depression when you go into it?
And I hate I hate I hate seeing it too, man.
Depression actually overcoming your own lives.
And they end up just taking our lives and shit.
It literally gets to that point. I can't believe it.

(21:22):
And I think one thing that the people should know, like if you're going through this or well, we are going to go through it.
Right. I don't care who you is. You rich, poor.
You know, you just, you know, lost your relationship or whatever the case is.
One thing you can do is right.

(21:43):
You know, whether you're a man or a woman, you know, I'm saying you plant your feet, right.
You hold your chin up and you just keep moving forward.
Right. And they know. And that's a hard thing to do.
You know, depending on how hard the situation is, you're going through.
Right. But just know, like every day that you face in that

(22:06):
that enemy, which is that depression or whatever, that every day you face that you are getting stronger.
Right. That is progress. That is a good thing that you should acknowledge.
You know, you should appreciate yourself for doing that and keep doing it.
You know, and if you keep doing it, keep facing it, you know, even though it's getting harder, eventually it's going to start to lighten up.

(22:28):
And as you face it, you know, it ain't that bad as it was the first day, you know,
or, you know, I'm saying, so definitely just keep your chin up until test, keep your test out.
You go through it. Face it. Be confident. Confidence is the key word.
Yeah. I tell you what, man, like a lot of things, a lot of things in life can affect us and create create a sense of depression.

(23:00):
It's just a lot of factors in life, man. I know recently we were talking talking about this weekend.
I know I know it's hit some people hard. Yeah. Kill switch.
Oh, yeah. That kills which law or whatever in our fellow car folks out there.
You want me to give like a little preview of what it is? Oh, man. Yeah. Let the people know what's going on.

(23:23):
So the kids, which essentially write is supposed to happen like 2026 and then they're on after where the government or whoever, right,
installs these switches in the cars and essentially what the police or authorities would be able to do is shut your car off.

(23:46):
Right now, it's a lot of negative feedback on that, right, because me personally, I'm sure Sean might agree.
We're not ready to do that just because of, you know, we got a history of just police just abusing power.
Right. And that's a lot of power. Right. And to me, it don't seem like a safe thing to do.

(24:08):
Right. Now, imagine you speeding on the highway. Right. And then, you know, the cop on the side of the road and, you know, he pointing that little little radar gun at you, whatever, trying to get your speed or whatever.
And then, OK, he see you speeding. Right. And maybe you didn't see that cop. Right. So you just driving the cop get on the road, you know, trying to hawk you down.

(24:32):
Right. And then shut your car off. Right. Now. OK, I get it. You were speeding. But sometimes you have to speed because you have to keep up with the flow of traffic. Right.
If you're going slower than the flow of traffic, you can cause an accident. Now, them shutting your car off. Right.
While you keeping up with traffic. Right. It's going to force people to slam on their brakes, try to maneuver to get out, get out your way because your car is stopping. Right. And that's just the potential hazard.

(25:02):
Like, and even with if you even go further into it with police abuse and power, like just shutting people cars off. Right. Like, oh, you got your tent too dark. You do. And you do 70 miles an hour. I'm just shut your car.
It's like, what the fuck? Right. What did that ladies you remember the lady said about the drunk driving? Bro, when you sent me that article and I read that shit, my head was pounding. Bro, them.

(25:34):
I don't want to bring. I don't want to bring politics into this, but I think the reasoning behind it was just so crazy, though, like they were they was trying to really cape for like the reasoning behind installing the kill switches is to because of drunk driving.
Are you kidding me? Yeah. And then drunk driving is already this dangerous. Right.

(26:02):
And then you're going to shut their car off like me just thinking like, you know, if I'm intoxicated. Right. And then, you know, I'm driving. Right. I'm already obviously it's already a hard time really because you don't really know how well you're doing when you drive them because you
f up or whatever. I watched my language at the time. And then, you know, you're going to turn a car off like you don't know how that alcohol or how they would react to that.

(26:33):
You know, I'm saying the last thing you want somebody to do is get the swerving on the highway at a slow speed. Yeah. Like I just I don't like the law.
You know, and then on top of that, it's like, bro, like I feel like you're interfering with my with my life. You know what I'm saying? Like I go buy a $40,000 car. You tell me you just go turn it. You could turn it off.

(26:59):
Like that pisses me off. Yeah. That like all like all these new laws. I feel like we we getting further away from the First Amendment.
Facts, bro. Well said. Well said, bro. What made this country like even like a great place to live in to begin with? It's straight control.

(27:24):
And let me go ahead and address the people that don't think that this country is a great place to live in. I've looked I've lived in other countries. I'll tell you this right now.
This is probably the most convenient, easiest place to live in. There's so many opportunities like you'll never live in another country and have the opportunity to be rich.
Facts, bro. And let me let me intervene real quick. But think about it like this, right? America. OK, we not perfect, right? You know, no. Right. Nobody is right. We far from perfect. But if you was born in America or maybe you wasn't born in America, you moved over here.

(28:03):
So much better than everywhere else. I've been to like 18 different countries, bro. And Sean has to we all been we've been to plenty of countries, bro. I lived in I lived in Italy for for two years. I can tell you guys like the convenience, the ease, like the pace of life that we have in America.
There's so much nice compared to all the other countries, bro. A lot of a lot of people have to have to work, break their back and stuff. Yeah. Like you like you would be surprised by the amount of prejudice and poverty that they go through in other countries to the

(28:41):
like the minorities. I'm talking about us. Like it's so fucking crazy. Excuse me. I'm so sorry. But that's just how crazy it is. Like like America compared to other countries. And Tony, we got it made here. We got it made.
Yeah, like just little things like, you know, you got AC, you got heat, or maybe you ain't got neither one of those things, but you got somewhere. You got a bed, you got a couch. Maybe you ain't got a TV. That's fine. You can wake up and go outside. I want to mount and do.

(29:16):
I'm gonna go get a Snickers bar or bag of chips. There are people who cannot do that. Like at all. They go outside is war, bro. Bombs just randomly dropped on your house. Like people talk a lot about America in a good country. And it's always the Americans, bro.
And they never been nowhere. You know what I'm saying? And you, this two vets, bro, that's telling you, you got it good, bro. You need to be thankful for that. We need to get better as a country. Yeah, but you got it good, bro. Straight like that.

(29:49):
And I understand if some pockets of the US are bad like that, that I understand. And, you know, we us as the healing club podcast, we are we are dedicated to improving our community. Like I have, I have a two step plan. First community, then world up.
You know, I understand. Like I said, some some communities, some pockets in the US are bad. But I'm telling y'all, like we got it made. I lived in Italy for two years. I can't tell you how many times that I wish that I could door dash. They don't have door dash.

(30:27):
No, they don't have Uber cars. They don't they don't have traffic laws. I'm telling you, like, it's people that are speeding on the road. They're flashing their brights at you. Just so you can get out the way you're already going over 100 kilometers per hour to yell speeding overseas.
Fuck it. And I was going that fast and people were rushing me to get over so they can go faster. It is it is literally a cluster F outside of the US.

(31:03):
But you want to know something that that Kyle Williams said, bro, that it was funny, bro. But it was like so true. Right. It was one of his Netflix specials. It was called I think it's called like World War Three or something like that. And he said,
imagine you had to go outside and you had to go get your own food. Right. As if not like going to McDonald's or Chick-fil-A, you know, golden crab. Don't know about you going to crowd for real. But that's like the Sunday after church.

(31:35):
Go to go to crowd. People do be knocking go to crowd. I just knocked it too. But I tell you this, I'm going to talk with that chocolate fountain. Kids be playing too much.
But now shout out to the grams. My grandma used to take us there like after like a church like on Sunday or whatever. The family go to go to crowd all you can buffet. Right. But are back to the topic. Right.

(32:01):
So essentially he was saying, imagine you had to go out and get your own food. Right. Not like fast food or to a restaurant or nothing like that. But you have to go out. You got to go catch what you want. You want some beef. You got to go catch some beef. You want some chicken. You got to go catch a chicken.
You got to go catch a chicken. Now just look at how good you got it. You want beef. They already got it for you. Cut up. Ready to go. All you got to do is cook chicken. Same thing.

(32:31):
Pretty much any animal that's edible. We already got it for you. Right. Other countries, bro. They got to. I won't. What can you eat. Can you eat giraffe meat. I'm just say giraffe just for like this hypothetical thinking. Right.

(32:52):
Right. Right. Say we got to drive here. Right. And we want some derived. We go get some to wrap right. Go to another country. Right. They want to wrap. They got to go out and hunt a giraffe. Do you understand that.
You have bit giraffes are born like six foot something tall. Right. Hella tall. Hella big. You know thick skin. You ain't gonna just kill no giraffe bro. Right. They get the swing in that neck and kill you like this. That's depressing bro.

(33:23):
Imagine you starving bro. You go out and you hunt the giraffe and you know only weapons you got. You got a spear and a stick. Right. And you miss or the giraffe just take off and now you starving bro. That's depressing bro.
That's straight depressing bro. Like I know I just went hella deep into it. You know but you know it's just something to be thankful for if you an American bro. Another thing to be thankful for like is the ability to do literally whatever you want.

(34:00):
Same thing I need more. Boy that drink that drink hit. I started smoking too. What did 2 Chainz say in that one song. He said I'm drinking and smoking at the same time. Something about that drinking champagne on the airplane. He said something. Was that Mercy? Yeah.
Oh yeah. Mercy was a good song. 2 Chainz went off in that. Shout out 2 Chainz. You left me a shot. Yeah I left you a little. Just take it. We should have got a bigger one. I didn't know we was gonna go through it that fast. I'm gonna use this to heal.

(34:40):
I tell you what's depressing though bro. I don't think people realize like you can literally do whatever you want in this country. You can bro. You can bro. People are literally like no offense to act to like you know like the transgender community or whatever.
That's what you want to be. That's your personal business. But just having that right or ability to do that. That's something to be grateful for. You know what I'm saying. That you can do that.

(35:13):
There's a lot of countries that don't believe in that type of stuff. Like you know they probably do something to you. You know you say something like that. But here like look at what you can do bro. You know what I'm saying. No matter if you're a man or a woman bro. You can get to the back. You know you want to be a race car driver. Race car driver. Okay no matter what gender you are you can do that as long as you got the skills to do it. You know what I'm saying. Other countries that ain't like that. You know this person. This gender does this. Does this. And this gender does that. And there's no NBA.

(35:42):
There's no in-betweens.
No facts bro. Like you can literally do whatever you want in this country. Like I think about it. I think about it you know subconsciously. But I think it's kind of funny. Shout out to my folks in Fort Gaines Georgia. Fort Gaines. So that's where my family is from. It's like last time I looked it up on the maps it was like a population of over 900 people.

(36:11):
I'm not familiar with Georgia. I don't get it. They probably got a lot of small towns. Smaller shit bro. Like the Fort Gaines. They don't we don't even have a McDonald's.
Yeah I ain't got a Mickey D's. That's great.
How you not have a Mickey D's bro.
That's one of my plans bro. I like I plan I plan to like build my community. I plan to put a McDonald's.

(36:36):
Franchise god damn it.
Yes sir. But um what was I about to say. Um yeah you can so like you can literally do whatever you want and I have a memory. I have a memory of being in being a Fort Gaines. Like it's kind of funny to me to think think about it now.
So like my family country. Country as hell. Shout out to all the folks in Fort Gaines Georgia. That's my that's my roots bro. Like country as hell.

(37:04):
These niggas wanted to eat but they wanted to eat something different. They wanted to eat what? They wanted to eat squirrels.
Did y'all hear that shit?
They wanted some squirrel meat. It's very different dog. Some squirrel meat.
So thinking thinking about it like I'm like like I used to think that was you know normal but I guess I guess I guess the word normal isn't very practical in this sense because for us that was our thing you know.

(37:41):
That was normal to us. We didn't want to eat no you know we didn't want to go to um it was a grocery store called IGA. We didn't want to buy no whatever from IGA. We got our rifles and started shooting at squirrels in the backyard.
That's how country that that Fort Gaines Georgia is but that's that's normal to us and and that's where I'm getting to like you can literally do whatever you want in this country. Like if you don't want to eat no eat no other stuff.

(38:11):
But squirrel you can go ahead and do that. You can go get your own food. You can you have the liberty to do whatever you want in this country.
You see people like dream chasing like I feel like it's a lot of dream chasers in Atlanta. Yeah my little child to my little brother who coulda that's W H O K U T A the young artist man.

(38:37):
He actually just moved out to Atlanta for dream chasing. Make music make beats like dude like every time I went home like to visit back in Detroit when he was there. I got my mom house. Are you hear him in the basement just singing and yelling in the mic.
You know and you go down there he you know editing the beats and all of that. So shout out to him man. I hope everything worked out for you bro you deserve it.

(39:02):
But but dream dream chasing is so relevant to this topic right now because how like how many times like how many times do you see a dream actually get realized and achieved.
Not often bro.
In this country bro like you have the opportunity to achieve a dream like because we've seen it so many times. Like that does and I feel like that's what makes America so great because like literally everyone has a chance to go achieve a dream like to get known to get what they want.

(39:36):
Yeah that's true and most of it is already a set path to get there. Like whether you want to be a doctor or a nurse or me I want to be a physical therapist you know that's why I go to school for. It's already a paved road.
You know they tell you like OK you need to get do this this this and this and this to get there. Whatever's already paid. You know I'm saying you just got to commit to it and do it. You know Sam so wherever you want to get to is literally up to you bro.

(40:08):
Literally, it really is man. Some people is dead.
Like you know I want to be a doctor whatever in the Middle East bro like they was killing women bro for being educated. That's tough.
Like I like I wish I wish things like I wish situations would be better like worldwide. But like we really have it. We really have it.

(40:32):
We really have it. Yeah.
I like how we and I like how we progress too because I feel like we all support each other in this world. Yeah we do. For the most part. Yeah for the most part.
I feel like we support like everyone in the US supports each other like that's that's like that's how I feel like like that's why I feel like everyone can achieve a dream because we all support each other.
And so it's kind of hard like it's kind of hard to live in depression but I can understand it because like I said like life life doesn't get tough.

(41:01):
It does. Yeah. You got you got the paved road but no one says it's gonna be easy.
It ain't. I tell you I tell you it is not.
Like the more I talk about it though.
Like like I feel like I feel like that's what you got to do like you have you have to talk about you have to talk about talk about it you know what what people.

(41:24):
I like this era to like people are less judgmental. Yeah. People are willing to listen these days.
Us as the healing club podcast we're willing to listen as well. So yeah for sure bro you know you got something that you need help with you know I'm saying cars you know your mental health or whatever but you need some advice.
And let us know man you know we try our best to you know be genuine you know and try to help you out you know.

(41:54):
We care.
No we definitely do like I'm telling you like I've said I'm pretty sure it's everywhere. Our our we our mission is to is to spread the awareness of mental health like throughout everywhere with our with our life experiences and our stories like we we are really trying to be y'all's number one podcast on mental health awareness.

(42:22):
But yeah the president of person stuff man. Shout out to all the thousands fans. We have our we have our fair share of the person.
Every year.
Going to send me a note. That's Toronto. That's Toronto. I'm actually Toronto. I know they got it every time I go against LeBron and the playoffs. You are not making it pass. You shall not pass. They call him LeBron though.

(42:52):
Yeah because Toronto do hella good right through the season through the playoffs. Then they get to LeBron.
No time it is a nutter.
We got two empty cans.
We need to get into the bottom.
Yeah next time we get a bigger one. Hey yo hey real soon bro we gonna be showing y'all like our pre games or whatever you know how we get ready for the podcast and things we do on the side.

(43:21):
And I'm saying so keep tapping in with the show bro we gonna show you how to get to that stuff. I'm saying can we know show you what we do in our daily lives and you know how we go out and hang out things like outside of the podcast.
You know I'm saying and doing stuff like that you know with your friends and some somebody you really care about you know definitely help you and your mental health you know saying because you need to do stuff like that.

(43:47):
Like Sean talks about we are social beings you know we need to do social things like that so you know I'm saying so real soon bro we had that set up you know so I can check it out you know I'm saying maybe y'all can you know do that with somebody that you know you care about and build your relationship.
For sure for sure. And you know you know shit kind of expensive too so we're gonna we're gonna show you our cheap ways to do it.

(44:14):
Oh yeah man save your money bro save your money bro.
No like save your money.
Yeah save your money like it like it's time to build it.
It's time it's like it's time to build.
Yeah.
Save your money. Have some plans.
Like, so, so I'm pretty sure you all seen our store and donation button.

(44:40):
Why are we raising funds show some love bro for sure. So we're raising funds. I'm pretty sure Luke the greatest has his plans but like I said earlier in the show I have plans to improve my community I have a two step plan.
I want to improve my community because I feel like everything starts off at community, then it then it gets to the world so first community, then world. You know we'll get to the bigger picture when we get there but I really want to get to my community I really want to get to the small pockets that are in the US.

(45:12):
That still experiences poverty and depression, like there's no reason why people in America should experience depression, other than going through going through life stuff like like relationships and stuff like that.
It's time and stuff that's supposed to happen. Yeah, you supposed to, you supposed to experience depression, right. Don't think that is just you and is rare or anything like that no you are supposed to go through these trials and tribulations bro to, you know, that way you would get

(45:44):
yourself better you know you make it through it you know it's gonna make you stronger, it'll make you smarter, you know far as like intellectual you know I'm saying, so it's, it's, it's supposed to happen bro.
It's all about growth. It's all about exactly. It's all about being a better human being. It's all about.
It's all about success to you. It's all about realizing yourself and realizing your potential. Okay, you only got one life, you don't want to spend it like I've already spent three years in depression, like, don't like don't don't don't be like that, you know, try to spend

(46:21):
life as happy as you can be realizing your dreams, realize, you know that in America like you like you literally have the opportunity and all the resources out there, like, to realize everything that you can achieve.
It's, it's there.
Look at us we're trying to we're trying to chase a dream right now.

(46:45):
The healing club podcast is a dream. Our dream is y'all.
Our dream is to is to help you help all y'all out.
My bet was unprofessional. That is unprofessional.
I ain't gonna cut that out.
Wow.
But what they got that I do want to say is, um, you know, whatever it is that you want to right now, you know, maybe we didn't address it, you know, definitely always keep your tentacles down as T grisley said best.

(47:25):
And for a chief keeps that it to actually, but keep your tentacles down keep your chin up your chest up and face it, acknowledge it.
Know that is bothering you. Right. So don't try to like bottle it up or anything like that. You know, and, you know, sit down meditate for a few minutes.
You know, think of solutions. Don't think about all the bad things that is causing you like think of solutions. How can I make it through this, you know, how can I make this better.

(47:56):
Essentially, right, because, you know, I mean, yes, depression is a negative, right, but anything negative can be turned into a positive. Why not turn into a positive.
Right. Don't sit there and if it's already negative, don't be more negative. You know, like, it's just like math, negative plus a negative is still a negative, bro.

(48:17):
Right.
I look more on this story bro. Think positive thoughts be positive bro. I wasn't good at math bro. I got a D in math 116 last semester brah so I really that get that math right but be positive. That's what I'm saying.
All right. Sean over here laughing at me. It's not funny bro. All right, I'm not good at math. I got a Detroit education.

(48:50):
No depression.
No way bro. What's the, I swear a negative plus a negative is a negative but you know, it depends. Yeah, however that works bro. Right. Be positive, bro. That's all I'm saying. Get to the positives.
So all of our, all of our episodes we we we stem to one source of, of, of, you know, I feel like, what's it called like a resolution.

(49:24):
Yeah, yeah, like as a resolver. Yeah, yeah, I feel like I feel like the biggest factor in resolving things, especially depression communication, you got to let people know you got you got to let people know how you feeling, you got you got to got to bro, like, body, body language, body language
Yeah, for sure. Like I can tell us someone's going through something and I'm a bugger too. I feel like I feel like as a human being, you like you have to do that like you have you have to you have to be involved.

(49:55):
Especially especially this person's like very close to you really care about.
I feel like like if you if you showing out you coming in, coming on my show, talk my song. Yo, what up I'm with the greatest hello hello hello I'm like, hey yo bro, I'm gonna be like, what's wrong.
I because I really care man.

(50:17):
Because I really care. You're my bro, I want to know, like if you if you really damn tree young just call somebody else.
Like I really care like as a human being.
I like, I really care about people.
Because I don't want to see other people going through bad things you know.

(50:39):
We live in the same world. Tell you like we live in the same world. Like why why why why you all have to go depression heartaches this standard third, I don't want to see my bro going through it at all. So I'm addressing, we're going to see we're going to see what's wrong with it.
And we're going to solve it.
Absolutely. And one thing that I do man. It's like a ritual, you can. It might work for you, you can try it. Every day that I get up, I get up in the morning or I sleep in and get up in the afternoon.

(51:12):
Right when I'm in there brushing my teeth looking myself in the mirror.
I tell myself, you him.
Period. Go ahead and mentally prepare yourself for whatever might come it might be just a great day you might not even have needed to motivate yourself right but do it. You know I'm saying, you know, who knows you better than you.

(51:33):
You know I'm saying tell yourself, sometimes what you need to hear give yourself that motivation bro, because I know better motivation than self motivation. Tell you that if you believe in yourself. Right, no matter what anybody else say you're unstoppable bro you untouched unmatched.
I tell myself, may I mo him at the.

(51:54):
Yes sir I'm like I'll add an extra middle name to my name.
Him.
Him.
The.
And that doesn't mean that you telling yourself you better than anybody that's just saying, you are somebody you right, you have to walk around with some swagger though you have to walk around with some confidence.

(52:20):
You got you got it. Next topic. Confidence. That's a good one. That's a good one. Yes, they do episode seven.
Oh, that's a good I'm glad you said that. You know what, I forgot to tell you this but might as well tell you this, I was playing, I already had like another topic, and I was planning, what's the, what did you have.

(52:45):
I forgot that and then in the episode seven preview. Oh, I don't like giving things reviews. Yeah, but I can tell you this. Next episode, we're gonna, we're gonna have a special guest.
First guest first guest.
First guest and I guess I'm a season one episode seven. First guest. Stay tuned. Right. I don't even know who this guy is so I'm just as wondering, just like y'all so it's gonna be new to me.

(53:14):
We're gonna experience this together. I'm a man of secrets.
Oh, man.
Find out. You. All right, time to bring in our guests and put it and pops up on the screen. I would even know what. Yeah, I was not ready. I was working this behind the scenes. I was talking about Russia.

(53:35):
You like what we was talking about the healing club. No, I'm joking. Hey, Russia kind of scared me, man. I'm not gonna lie. It's a lot of depression up in all that cold. Oh yeah. Over there and like, oh, well yeah, actually when you look at the map.
Speaking of Russian look at the map is pretty much like, oh, like ice. But, and then, you know, a lot of people think about Russia Russia is so massive. It's not that big because they only live in like a portion of Russia.

(54:05):
There's a lot of area over there that's that essentially can't be even be populated just because of like weather and stuff. And they got they got tigers roaming the woods like imagine a tiger. But we got, I really have a bear roaming the woods than a tiger, bro.
Like, bro, I'll be watching these these videos of these these UFC fighters not UFC fighters MMA fighters. Maybe training with the Bears and shit. Oh yeah. Oh, what's his name?

(54:37):
Khabib Khabib. Yeah, Khabib is a bad man, bro. He a bad man, bro. All them all the other people that look like Islam. Islam is bad. Yeah. When he put away volt. Oh, bro.
I need to get into watching more USC, bro. When it comes to UFC, I usually just watch like the highlights of it. Or if it's like a big fight, I watch like the highlights of it. I'm not really like a USC really big on USC, but I will watch it. You know what I'm saying?

(55:07):
Bro, I watch my favorite person is still McGregor, bro. Not not like saying he like the best fighter anything. But far as like him, like the person himself, I love McGregor, bro. He's so funny, bro. He's so motivated, bro. And his energy is just unmatched, bro.
Honestly, the person that McGregor is like the type of person that he is. I wish more people will hold themselves like that same level of confidence. Yeah, he but that is a man who believes in himself straight up. I love McGregor, bro.

(55:39):
Nobody else will. I love McGregor. Wobbly wobbly. I was wobbly wobbly. I was fatigued.
When he was talking to me, whether that's it. I love McGregor, bro. McGregor, that guy.
But shout out Dustin Poirier. He got that middle name to him. He got it. Yeah, he's definitely a him. He's a him for sure.

(56:07):
The him at the Association. But hey, oh, again, close to wrap up. Huh? No, we out. This is it. Oh, this is a wrap up. That was a good talk.
Low key, man. I ain't gonna lie. It was a good talk. You know what I'm saying? Excuse us with the outclaw. I kind of took over a little bit, but definitely.
You know, y'all ain't gonna know, but some parts they get cut out. We are free spirits, man. You know, we believe in being vocal.

(56:33):
All positive energy. We talk about the negatives and we make it positive, bro. Simple math, bro. I think it's simple math. I don't know for real, but that's what we do.
Nah, this is the greatest math gotta get studied, bro. That man said if a negative plus a negative is the possible.
What? No, it still might be a negative. No matter, like, depending on what the number is.

(57:01):
Math is only needed to an extent, people. I don't. Why do I need to know calculus?
At what point in my life, far as my career that I'm pursuing, that I'm gonna need to know calculus. I'm like, oh, you know what? This is a time for calculus.
I am jealous of the kids right now, but they got chat GPT. They got a lot of AI shit.

(57:25):
I'm sorry. Yeah, I could all this. I swear, they got all this AI crap dog to like pave the future for them.
Hey, shout out chat GPT, man. I don't think I can go through life without it now.
BT chat GPT technology is taking over. Did I show you that video of that robot getting harassed by people? You showed me that. That was honestly, I feel bad.

(57:55):
I'm like, man, did a robot feel this? Like, do he know what's going on? Because it was so intelligent.
Obviously, it was really intelligent. It was getting abused. So it's like, dude, do you feel this? That's kind of I feel bad.
Like it was kicking it, pushing it, throwing stuff at it. He had a gun in his face and he was like, oh shit.

(58:16):
Yeah, the robot was panicking, bro. That was real human like panicking, bro.
Like, was that real or was that like CGI? That was like, that was real, huh? It was really bullying that robot dog. Yeah, that's crazy.
They didn't watch the movies. They didn't watch the movies. We about to get taken over, dog.
Skynet. I feel like before a zombie apocalypse, we're going to get killed by robots. Our own invention. AI.

(58:44):
But yeah, I don't think it's zombie apocalypse that take us out. It's the robots. I think we're running out of time.
We're definitely running out of time. Alright, y'all. It's been real, people. We'll tap in with Todd later.
Good podcast episode six. Stay tuned to episode seven. Peace. Peace. Hurry up and end it, guys. It's about to end it. End it. End it.
