In today’s episode, we tackle a compelling question: "Why Do You Think You Know What Is Best for Others?" This question challenges us to examine the assumptions and biases we carry into our interactions, especially in contexts where guidance or advice is involved. It’s a critical inquiry for anyone involved in mentoring, coaching, or any form of support role.

We'll explore the psychology behind our need to offer solutions and how this can sometimes overshadow truly listening and understanding the unique needs and journeys of individuals. It's crucial to recognize that each person’s path to healing and growth is deeply personal. Instead of imposing our perspectives, embracing a posture of humility and openness can lead to more meaningful support and empowerment.

This discussion will provide professionals and caregivers with strategies to foster environments where autonomy and self-discovery are prioritized. We’ll discuss the importance of asking questions, encouraging self-reflection, and allowing others to define their own goals and what wellness means to them.

Join us as we dive deep into understanding the delicate balance of offering support without overshadowing the personal agency and insights of those we aim to help. This conversation is about enhancing our effectiveness as supporters by fostering an atmosphere of respect, understanding, and true empowerment.

Speaker 1 (00:00):
Happy Wednesday.
You are on the Heart of Successshow and I'm your host, larissa
Vakulina.
Go live every Wednesday at 2 pmSouth Australian time zone and
here on this show I'm sharingwith you a little tips, tools,
happiness, easy Flowing andEffortless Give and Receive

(00:33):
concept.
You probably know what it is.
Today I wanted to talk aboutwhy is it that most of us assume
that we know what is best forothers?
This is a very, veryinteresting question because it
is almost like in ourunconscious level the concept

(00:59):
sits so deep and it is alsoalmost like in our bloodstream.
I know what you need to do.
I know how to fix that for you.
I know how to deal with thisissue in your life.

(01:19):
I know how to help you to dothis that way.
So, yeah, we kind of believethat we're coming from that very
intentional place of reallygenuinely helping others, but a

(01:41):
lot of time we kind of alwaysforcing and putting our opinion
or our way of how we did thingson others and we need to realize
that we are all uniqueexpression of this divine plan.

(02:07):
We are all unique and only one.
All 8 billion people on thisplanet have its own uniqueness
and have its own way ofunderstanding how to live their
life.
Yes, a lot of people are lost, confused, they suffer, they live

(02:29):
in conflict.
But, again, there is no one wayfor all people to resolve this.
And the only way to resolve itto actually connect to that
internal place of wisdom withinyourself.
Only that place within yourselfcan help you to make decision

(02:55):
in that particular way that onlyyou can make that decision.
Yes, we can inspire, we canmotivate, we can share our own
journeys, our own ways of how weovercome some conflicts and

(03:16):
problems and health issues andrelationship conflicts and
crises of all types, but it isgoing to be only my way.
So what I am actually sharingwith my students and with my
clients is that they need tofind their own way.

(03:36):
We cannot follow anyone'ssystem, methods, all these tools
and creation that many peopleare doing.
We need to start to understandthat we are all very, very
unique and if we are forcingothers to do the way we did it,

(03:58):
we already are breaking theprinciple which is one of the
principles of my ASCARA program.
Ascara principles, ascara methodprogram, six weeks program.
One of these principles is thatwe need to start to really

(04:23):
develop a hygienic way in ourrelationship.
What do I mean by this?
It's like I only can takeresponsibility for me, for my
thinking, feeling, doing, creating, making decisions and

(04:44):
not making decisions foreverything in my life.
So when you find thatindividuation point of what you
want your life look like, ifyou're willing to take
responsibility for everythingthat I named and become super
honest with yourself, well thenyou make the first step into

(05:09):
make your relational living, because we all are relational in
this creation.
We relate it to ourselves, werelate to others, we relate to
the environment and the grandercreation.
So the relational principleneeds to be having an absolute

(05:31):
purity of what you want in yourlife, how you want your life to
live and how you know exactlyhow you wanted it.
It's only you know that no oneknows how you want your life to

(05:58):
be, because you are the uniqueexpression of this divine plan,
and what needs to happen is thatwe need to stop assuming that
we know better what is the bestfor other and others.
We only need to support them toconnect to themselves.

(06:22):
That's where we can actuallydisplay our own journey to
ourselves, share the turns andall these diversions that we did
on the way to connect toourselves so that they can find
the strengths within themselves, because if I could do it,

(06:45):
anyone could.
You could do it as well.
So, to have that journeytowards yourself and then, once
you have your own individuationpoint, you know what you want in
your life and you know exactlyhow you would like to express
yourself and take responsibilityfor everything that you're

(07:09):
doing, thinking, feeling well, then your life will start to
show exactly that responsibility.
You will start to meet peoplethat are responsible.
You will start to meet peoplewho are knowing what they want,
who are having theirindividuation point very, very

(07:31):
strong, who are creating freelyand who have this purity in the
relationship because they're notbreaking the principle of
hygienic relationship.
So I'm inviting you tocontemplate on this, because
what I am observing time andtime again, where we are kind of

(07:57):
, we're moving from the reallyrigid way of doing business,
we're moving from the very rigidway of the society taught us
how we can do things, but we'restill going into this another
extreme.

(08:17):
We're still looking for someonewho can to heal, what to use,
what to do and how to implementtheir way of healing.
I did heal myself from cancernaturally, organically, without

(08:39):
any surgery or any medicalprotocols, but I'm not saying to
people that I teach do like Idid and you're going to be
healing yourself.
It's not what I am teaching.
What I'm teaching is connect toyourself.
Only you know your way.
Only you know how you're goingto heal yourself and treat

(09:03):
yourself.
I only can show you the way, that you are the one that have
all the wisdom and all theanswers on all of your questions
within.

(09:30):
So please, start to see yourlife and your journey as an
adventure, to connect toyourself, the purity, the
hygienic, relational space whereyou're not going to force
others to do what you think bestfor them.
You're not going to demandothers to do and be the way that

(09:55):
you think would be good forthem.
So you would live your ownpersonal life, the way you know
how and the way.
Only you know what you want inyour life, and then you will
free other people for them tolive their own life.
But by only living your lifeyou can inspire the other.

(10:20):
But by only living your lifeyou can inspire the other.
By only helping yourself totake responsibility for
everything in your life, you canactually demonstrate and
support the others to do thesame.
So please, just maybecontemplate on this and let's
talk about it.

(10:40):
Just maybe contemplate on thisand let's talk about it.
Please connect to my YouTubechannel and also to other social
media handles, because I'meverywhere there.
I'm talking little snippetsabout how we can start to build
our own personal lives the waywe want, without offending

(11:01):
others, without forcing othersto give us what we think they
have to give us.
No one ever has to give usanything or be anything that we
want them to be.
So this is the number oneprinciple of creating pure,

(11:21):
hygienic, relational space whereyou know exactly what you want
and you leave others to knowwhat they want, absolutely
honest with the state that youare in, and you're honest that

(11:43):
maybe you didn't reach thatstate yet and you are somewhere
struggling and maybe you'regoing two steps back into
wanting other people to besomehow different for you.
Well then, be self-honest andbe honest to forgive yourself

(12:07):
and accept yourself at the pointwhere you are.
What is important is that youhave your intention to grow.
You have this intentionaldesire.
I want to sort it all out for me.
I'm not going to sort it outfor other people.

(12:29):
I'm going to sort it out firstfor me, and that's what my
Ascara Principles SignatureProgram is based on.
It is based on how I wentthrough my own fears, doubts,
demands, all the forceful powerto make other people different

(12:50):
and force them to do, realizedthat everything is within us.
Now I know exactly how my lifeneeds to look like and because I
hold that positive outlook ofonly me is responsible for what

(13:15):
I'm creating.
It gives me a chance to projectthat responsibility onto others
, that positivity, that reallyhealthy outcome, because I hold
it within myself and that's whyI always have external world

(13:37):
around me projecting exactly thesame how I feel.
So, thank you so much.
I'll see you next Wednesday andif you're really interested,
please reach out and I canexplain a little bit more about

(13:57):
the Ascara Principles Programand possibly you would be
interested to start to shiftyour life from this thought
process that I know better whatis best for the other and I'm
living my life to helping others.
But if you're helping from thatspace of follow my um, follow

(14:26):
what I went through, it's notreally serving you or other.
Well, show it, display how youare living your life and by
doing doing this you're alreadyhealing, supporting and lifting

(14:46):
people out of their doubts andthings.
So help them to connect tothemselves.
Thank you so much.
