Monica Pearson was the first woman and African American to anchor the nightly news in Atlanta in 1975. She continued in that position for 37 years, winning over 33 Emmy awards. In this interview, Monica shares what it was like entering that position, the woman in her life that instilled resilience and the famous journalist who also interviewed for her anchor position.
