The Stations, or "The Way," of the Cross, comprises fourteen events in Jesus' Passion and death, from his condemnation to His entombment.
The Mystic Way of the Cross includes short prologue (the decision to crucify Him) and epilogue (Faith in Resurrection) Scripture.
The 14 Stations:
1st Station: Jesus is condemned to death. 2:19
2nd Station: Jesus carries his cross. 3:00
3rd Station: Jesus falls the first time. 4:01
4th Station: Jesus meets his mother. 5:14
5th Station: Simon of Cyrene is forced to carry the cross. 6:10
6th Station: Veronica wipes the face of Jesus. 7:08
7th Station: Jesus falls the second time. 7:46
8th Station: Jesus meets the women of Jerusalem. 8:29
9th Station: Jesus falls the third time. 9:26
10th Station: Jesus is stripped of his garments. 10:17
11th Station: Jesus is nailed to the cross. 11:03
12th Station: Jesus dies on the cross. 12:04
13th Station: Jesus body is Laid in the Arms of His mother. 13:11
14th Station: Jesus is laid in the tomb. 13:51
Epilogue: 14:32
This is a prayer service traditionally associated with Lenten Fridays, but you can use this meditation at any time to attain more depth of realization for His love for us all through the Holy Spirit
