This week’s show is a joyful, purpose-filled Episode 174 of The Hidden Workforce.
Welcome Holden Trainer, Pathfinders Coordinator and Ava, Pathfinders member from the University of Tulsa’s Pathfinders Program!
Pathfinders is uniquely designed for TU students living with Autism Spectrum Disorders or Social Anxiety Disorders. They welcome students living with these differences, as well as their friends and allies! Their program is specially tailored to meet students with different abilities’ needs.
Students participate in skills-building groups, social events, and Success Coaching, all with their sensory needs in mind.
This program has tripled in size and has a profound impact on the students participating. It is no wonder TU provides such significant support to this amazing program!
If you have a differently abled/neuro-diverse child, young adult, or student getting ready to make college decisions, this is definitely for you!
