Jay Farrell Elliott Farrell, welcome in tonight, man, So glad
to have you a board. Happy October to.

Speaker 3 (02:41):
You, good evening, bawkie. But we began October in a
pale of shadow across your very most handsome face.

Speaker 1 (02:48):
That's a little better.

Speaker 3 (02:51):
That's a little better. You know, we need you know,
you're a man that deserves to be in the spotlight. Baulkie,
No shadows for you, sir, but one that an exciting
game last night.

Speaker 1 (03:02):
To get this week started, I was, you know, I'm busy.
I'm a busy guy. And my plan last night was
to I'm like, Okay, I'm gonna hang out. I'm gonna
watch the because I was on live with the the
FFPC Insider Access show until about nine o'clock Eastern time
last night, and uh then I was freeze just to

(03:25):
watch the remainder of the first half and then the
second half, and I was like, oh, this is it.
You know, as soon as the game's over, I'm gonna
go to bed. We went to overtime last night with
the Niners and Rams, which I did not see happening
because for the Niners Pharaoh last night, no George Kittle,
no Brandon Ayuk, no Ricky Piarsal, no Juwan Jennings, and
no Brock Party. And yet they took the Rams to overtime,

(03:49):
and God, what a game it was.

Speaker 3 (03:51):
Get the Rams field, you know, in the Rams home.

Speaker 1 (03:56):
I just I don't you know. It's one of those
things where it's like every my market manager for my
local sports radio show this morning, he comes on every
for my final segment for a paid sponsorship at the

(04:17):
end of every show, and he told me today he's like,
just when you think you have the NFL figured out,
they throw this curveball at you where Mac Jones throws
for three hundred yards and three touchdowns with all the
pass catchers I mentioned earlier not playing in the game.
Matthew Stafford blows up last night, Pukainakua has a great night,

(04:39):
Davante Adams shows out, Kyron Williams shows out, and yet
the Rams lose this game and Farrell. I think the
question we have to ask ourselves here for fantasy is,
you know, George Kettle probably not coming back this week,
but the week after. We could see Juwan Jennings and
Ricky piersall back this week that the Niners might be
ready to make a run, and the Niners, as far

(05:00):
as fantasy goes, we could be seeing big things for
the second half of the fantasy season in the FFPC
and the CAFFC. Not only for McCaffrey and Pierce all
but from Jennings and Kittle and Purty as well.

Speaker 3 (05:13):
If McCaffrey gets cut loose with some running, if he
can start having those big chunk rushes that he's famous
for in the past, watch out for McCaffrey. He's already
the number one receiver. I think it's a tip of
the cap goes to that front office and the team
they've put together. You know, I can remember when Juwan

(05:34):
Jennings moved into the starting lineup and we're all Christians, Well,
you know that's going to be a problem in Jennings
was excellent. And it's a situation where this team is
built from the first man to the fifty third man
and at quarterback. If we go back down memory lane,
we'll remember that this team had Matt Jones as one

(05:57):
of their primary targets in that draft. So you put
all that together and they've assembled the kind of team
that they want. They coach them up, they coach them
on a short week, they take them on the road,
and they use their second string to beat a team
that many think is going to win the division with Hey,
they're a game behind now.

Speaker 1 (06:18):
If you look at the forty nine Ers schedule going forward, Farrell.
Obviously they have the mini buy right now. They go
to Tampa next week and we'll see what happens there.
There's certainly a chance that Mike Evans could be back
for that game, and obviously Godlin, and then they get
the Night Are excuse me, I beg your pardon the
Falcons at home. They go to Houston, they go to

(06:40):
New York, they get the Rams at home. They rematch,
and then they go to Arizona after the Arizona game
that is on. Where is it right here?

Speaker 4 (06:52):
I just had it?

Speaker 1 (06:53):
The Arizona games November sixteenth, they get Carolina at home.
They go to Cleveland, they have the ten Titans at home.
They go to Indianapolis, they have the Bears at home,
and then the Seahawks at home. I'm not saying that
the Niners have like a thirteen win season here, but
my god, Farrell, this schedule for the Niners is shaping

(07:15):
up really well, not only for San Francisco fans, but
for owners of pearsall McCaffrey, Kittle, Jennings and the light
going forward here.

Speaker 3 (07:24):
And it's not a cake well, but some of those
names of teams that we went through there you can
foresee McCaffrey do and just what I asked him to do,
getting a lot of yards rushing the ball.

Speaker 1 (07:40):
I think when we look back on this season, and
I was saying this back in mid August based on
how I drafted, and it's not like I drafted McCaffrey
in every single league, Pharrell, but I'm like, I think,
when we look back on this year, at the way
it's shaping up right now, we're gonna be like, God,
why didn't I get McCaffrey in the middle of the
first round, the end of the first round and more drafts?

(08:00):
Why do I? Why did I ignore him? The fact
that he is getting so much run right now, both
in the rushing game and the passing game has to
have high stakes players in the kff C in the
ff PC kicking themselves right now if they didn't draft them,
because he looks like he is ready to go, and
he is ready to contribute over the course of not
just one month, but four plus months trying to win

(08:23):
you a grand prize in the KFFIC and the FFPC.
He looks great right now.

Speaker 4 (08:27):
Man.

Speaker 3 (08:28):
That was the first thing we tipped our cap to
after week one to all the owners that stepped up
and chose McCaffrey and you're getting late in the first round,
when at least when I was in Las Vegas, and
you know, it took some guts to step up and
get you know, based on history, and you know, if

(08:49):
anyone had been told what the first round would look like,
the round of walking wounded, McCaffrey would have win in
the first three or four spots. But you know what,
he's a fantastic player, and you know, to those who
take the risk comes the big reward. And he's such
a thrill to watch. And you knew that team with
him on the field was never out of it, despite

(09:11):
the health of the quarterback. And yeah, it just was
a great example of of what football was about. And
we've had, you know, Thursday night games for a season
or so where we would come on and it would
be a very whole home affair. Offensive coordinators would dumb down,
the playbook, defense would rule today, and they were. We're

(09:32):
not seeing that this year. And I'm happy about the matchups.
It's good football.

Speaker 1 (09:36):
Yeah i am too. It's very exciting to see. I
want to keep things in the NFC South from the
Niners to the Carolina Panthers, we go for The Carolina
Panthers have ruled out to a Hubbard with a calf
injury for Week five against the Miami Dolphins. Adam Shepter
reporting this just a few hours ago. Hubbard was expected

(09:56):
to miss Week five, and then Adam Shepter confirmed it
from the Carolina Panthers sources. This is a massive miss
for Hubbard because he was expected to do a lot
of numbers against the Miami Dolphins this week. It doesn't
sound like this is a long term thing for Hubbard. However,
when you consider the fact that they have ric o'dowdell,

(10:17):
that they have the rookie Trevor atn behind him, this
is something that we need to unpack for fantasy lineups
in Week five. Ric o'dowdell to me like I picked
him up in my not that I want to keep
bringing this up, but in my son's league that I
helped run for him. I picked him up yesterday morning
when it was looking like it was not going to
be great for Hubbard and we are dire need of

(10:38):
running back help. I am of the opinion that ric
o'dowdle can fill fulfill a back end RB two role
for many FFPC and KFFSC players this week. Trevor Trevor ETN.
I think is fine if you want to roster him.
I would not be starting him this week. I think
he is a desperation flex and hopefully week five does

(10:59):
not mean desperate for you right now, but roster Farrell.
I like Daudell this week though. I think he gets
sixty five seventy percent of the touches in this backfield,
and to me, that makes sense for people who are
trying to fulfill gaps in their lineup. For no Josh
Jacobs who is on a bye, Nova John Robinson who
is on a bye, DeAndre Swift who is on a bye,

(11:21):
Jalen Warren, Kenneth Gainwell, the list goes on and on.
All these players that are on a bye. You can
kind of fulfill this spot with Rico o'dwell this week.
I don't know if he could still be available for
a pickup in the KMFFFC in the FFPC this week,
but if you do have him on your roster already,
he is a very intriguing piece in Week five starting lineups.

Speaker 3 (11:41):
If Rico dalla is available, somebody's been asleep in the
switch or somebody who made a mistake had him on
their roster and let him go. You know, Bucky, you
said everything but the magic word. He's playing the Miami
Dolphins thirtieth in rush defense this year, thirtieth in rush defense.
I think Rico, our refugee from the Dallas Cowboys, our thousand,
your potential rusher, gets a big, big game. Twenty Fantasy

(12:04):
points for Rico.

Speaker 1 (12:04):
Down this weekend twenty is aggressive. No, just what he
was going to get. I'm not gonna argue with you.
You you have been What was the thing we were
talking about this off air a few hours ago? What
was the Niner that you played there?

Speaker 3 (12:19):
I had Jake in the lineup. I owned him on
eleven teams and I had him play on four.

Speaker 1 (12:24):
So Jake Tanjas or Tongus, excuse me, who was in
the game against the Niner against the Rams last night
in in place of George Kittle. How many targets you get?
Like eight or nine targets? He catches like seven of
them and he got that's too busy counting those catches
and touchdowns. H Elliott keeps him in this f f

(12:47):
PC lineups last night, and I had to.

Speaker 3 (12:49):
Take some real guys out of the lineup to put
him in.

Speaker 1 (12:52):
Uh what did you take out in favor of tongas uh?

Speaker 3 (12:56):
A minor Myers from the Raiders.

Speaker 1 (13:02):
This is ballsy, Farrell.

Speaker 3 (13:04):
Yeah, and zech Ertz three that I had Ruby, I
had to play him because there was no choice. I
get it, I get it, but I was I wasn't
ballsy enough to sit Bauers and put him in for Bowers.

Speaker 1 (13:18):
Rubio from the West Coast hanging out with us tonight,
he had Kendrick Bourne going for him last night, twenty
five points. Nothing wrong with that.

Speaker 3 (13:27):
Rubio is the only player in fantasy football that had
Kendrick Bourne. And if anyone else accidentally had him, they
they didn't start him.

Speaker 1 (13:36):
I'm gonna I'm gonna say this right now, Farrell, my
good friend is at the welsh On ex Chris Welsh
from Fantasy Pros was forced to play Kendrick Bourne last
night as well. So he is. And and I'm gonna
say this mea culp because I know there's a lot
of people watching this show tonight. Who watched the FFPC
Insider Access show last night with myself and Dynasty League

(13:56):
Football John Arrington. And when we were doing our preview
of the Niners Rams game on Thursday night. I asked John,
I said, listen, man, if there is one Niners receiver
you were starting tonight with, no I yuk, no Pearsall,
no Jennings, who's.

Speaker 4 (14:12):
It going to be?

Speaker 1 (14:13):
And he said unequivocally, And I agreed with him. One
DeMarcus Robinson not do anything close to what Kendrick Bourne
did last night. So that was a miss on our part,
and I'll fully admit it. But but Bourne was the man. Parall.
I'm gonna pose this to you right now. I'll let
my thoughts be known after you say this. He's not

(14:36):
I mean, with the mini by coming up for the
Niners with a chance for Pearsall and Jennings and Kittle
potentially to get healthy. Bourne is not a guy I'm
looking at to start in week six? Are you looking
at him as a potential start in week six?

Speaker 4 (14:50):
No?

Speaker 3 (14:53):
He did exactly what he needed to do. He's with
all those players out. Yeah, he's a complimentary. Now. He
some problems dropping the ball last week, and he dropped
a couple in this game, but you know, tip of
the cap to and and one of our one of
our listeners. I guess as Rubio Uh pointed out the
fact that these quarterback and the receiver had great chemistry

(15:15):
from their time together with the Patriots, and that was
a that was good analysis and of reason enough to
put him into put him in the lineup.

Speaker 4 (15:22):
Uh.

Speaker 3 (15:24):
Jimmy Williams UH gives his testimony, self indicting himself that
he had d Robb in the beach. No, but Uh,
it goes forward to prove that if you if you,
if you think that Jennings continues to be hobbled, if

(15:48):
you have multiple forty nine er receivers, maybe you have
peer Piers O N Jennings uh on the roster or
any combination. They're Born would be an excellent guy to
carry because they know they can turn to I don't
think they're gonna look to fit him in the lineup,
but you know they could turn to him, and he
can perform.

Speaker 1 (16:07):
Two things on this with Bourne, he's a pros pro. Obviously,
the quarterbacks like throwing to him. The coaches and the
offensive coordinator like scheming things up for Born. But Parrell,
I don't know if you noticed. I was watching that game,
like god, it seemed like Bourne bobbled every single catch
last night, he never saw anything clean, which was so

(16:28):
irritating to see you.

Speaker 3 (16:29):
So, James Bednar a loved player, the f f PC,
the k f f SC. Bed Noar, diehard Patriots fan,
and he never could understand why Bourne didn't do more.
He couldn't understand why he wasn't drafted more often, targeting
more often. And that has to do with the fact

(16:50):
that he's body catcher. But he's a big body that
knows how to get open and you know, so, yeah,
what a good what a good thing that before we
say and we can talk about boring. Yeah, that's what's
so great.

Speaker 1 (17:04):
It is great. Permar is saying this right now, and
I'm not going to disagree with him on this, that
Bourne is not a pick up. All that was scheme
by Kyle Shanahan, which could be the truth the truth,
And even if it's not the truth, if pearce All
and Jennings and Kittle are healthy next week, is gonna
be tough for me to find a spot in my
starting lineup for Kendrick Lamar.

Speaker 3 (17:25):
What does he mean he's not a pickup?

Speaker 1 (17:27):
Does mean that he's not a pick up for week six?

Speaker 5 (17:30):
Uh?

Speaker 3 (17:31):
Not a pickup. Yeah, well, we just gave it a
situation where he could be a pick up because we
play with twenty man rosters here in the ff PC,
and if you've got a twenty man roster, you've got
four guys that are banged up that you are going
to play.

Speaker 1 (17:44):
So okay, And and I'll just say this right now,
as far as as far as everything goes for for
week six, we have four teams on by this week,
so it's it's difficult for people to pick up players
on Sunday warning. And then next week we have no Texans,
we have no Vikings, which means no Woody Marks. Next week,

(18:06):
no Stroud, no Dalton Marks. Since defense, yep, no, none
of these guys are going to be available. No Jordan Addison,
no Justin Jefferson, no TJ. Hockinson, no Jordan Mason, no
Vikings defense. So you are running into a problem if
you want to acquire players like Kendrick Born on your roster.

Speaker 3 (18:24):
So is the NFL. And it's not the trade deadline yet.
Maybe I'm just saying a new home.

Speaker 1 (18:30):
Yeah, like, listen, it might work for some teams, it
may not work for all teams. As far as Kendrick
Born and rosters. For next week. We have our good
buddy Jason Coe coming up in just a little bit here,
ladies and gentlemen. He is the week three fifth place
team owner in the FFPC Big Gorilla Contest that pays

(18:50):
out a one million dollar grand prize. Before we get
to Jason, I do want to answer one or two more,
probably two more questions in the YouTube chat that came
up here tonight. I'm trying to scroll through right now.
Bear with me as I'm trying to find Okay, here
we go, Corey Walters. Question one, are you guys worried

(19:12):
about Lamar Jackson after he comes back, wondering if I
can trade for him? Farrell, before you answer this, I
am totally of the opinion trade for Lamar Jackson. I
did not envision this Baltimore Ravens defense being this bad.
I do believe that Lamar Jackson will not play in
week five and probably not in week six, but week

(19:33):
seven and on I think there's a very strong possibility
he plays. So if you can stomach the next two
weeks without Jackson on your team with perhaps a better
quarterback in tow, then yes, I think you trade for Jackson.
I am a big fan of him in the second
half of the season based on that the Ravens seemingly
can't stop anybody right now farrel.

Speaker 3 (19:55):
Anyone who's trading Lamar Jackson is obviously contemplating the retirement
from fans, which could be true.

Speaker 1 (20:04):
Uh Uh Team Porky's according to James Hicks, and by
the way, I'm gonna do this right now, sorry from
my camera angle here, Team porky started Kendrick Bourne last
night and Oinker has three oincs to.

Speaker 4 (20:19):
Say to that.

Speaker 1 (20:21):
Yeah, and as well as there we go. They're going
crazy for Kendrick Born being in starting lineups last night
for Team Porky's, which is great.

Speaker 4 (20:31):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (20:31):
kJ Hackey chiming in that they started Jake Tong just
over Tucker Craft and George Kittle last night, which I
mean you were probably forced to do that to a
certain Tuckercrafts gone by and George Kittle's hurt. But just
eight targets or whatever it was and seven catches. Congratulations,

(20:51):
that is fantastic stuff, uh for you last night as well. Okay,
Adam Han chiming in the voice of Reason on the show,
it was Kendrick Bourne's birthday gift to his mother last night.
He does nothing again rest the season. Adam, you certainly
could be right that, Adam.

Speaker 3 (21:10):
If you're not, we're gonna call you out.

Speaker 1 (21:13):
We will, and he will welcome that, and he will
explain away why he was wrong on that, and it's
probably gonna be a good explanation.

Speaker 3 (21:20):
Why don't you throw up? Is not worried about lamar
A very concerned about the Ravens because that's genius.

Speaker 1 (21:25):
Yeah. Well, and I'll say this genius right there. I
mean I would be concerned about the Ravens as a
team from an NFL standpoint, I'm not concerned about Mark Andrews,
Isaiah Likely, Derrick, Henry, Justice Hill, Jay Flowers. So on TWA,
you should be concerned about Flowers. I'm gonna say this
right now, Pharrell there. God, who was saying this the

(21:48):
other day somebody in the I think it was on
the Fantasy Points podcast and they said, think about maybe
it wasn't Fantasy Points. It all runs together, and I
apologize it does. They were saying at the start of
the season, this might have been Alfredo Brown from Football Guys.
At the start of the season, they wanted to draft
whoever it was. They wanted to draft Lamar Jackson as

(22:10):
like a top three quarterback, top four quarterback, and they're like,
this is great. Lamar Jackson's gonna put up video game numbers.
But they stop short of doing it because the reaction
was as good as that defense is gonna be, Jackson's
not gonna have to run, he's not gonna have to throw.

(22:31):
It's gonna be Derrick Henry, it's gonna be Justice Hill,
it's gonna be Keaton Mitchell. And so they shot away
from drafting Lamar Jackson. And now what we have seen
from this defense in Baltimore, it's like, dude, if you
have Lamar Jackson at this point, you are sitting pretty
as long as you're can handle, as long as you
can handle the one, two, three week whatever it is

(22:52):
absence with the injury right now, because when he gets back,
this defense is in no spot to stop anybody, and
Lamar Jackson is going to be in the perfect spot
to go crazy on everybody with his runs and his passes.
Right now. I'm not saying it's going to be an
MVP year for Lamar Jackson, but fantasy wise, fail he's

(23:13):
going to do numbers when he gets back.

Speaker 3 (23:16):
After watching every game Lamar played in college and the
success he had in watching how his body's changed as
he's moved through as a professional, and still been holding
my breath for all these years with the style of play,
expecting him to get hurt and expecting him to miss time.
I'm surprised that in the NFL game we've it's been
this long since he's you know, since he's missed some time,

(23:38):
and I hope he doesn't rush it back. I'm it's
going to be interesting to see what comes with with
Cooper Rush. I always thought that was maybe an odd
pickup or an odd pairing, but you know, can't be
any worse than what's happening in Cincinnati, which is the
strangest is the strangest result that I expected from that quarterback. So,

(24:03):
you know, until we see these guys play in regular season,
it's it's hard to say what I just I do
have some concern about Flowers. That's my biggest concern.

Speaker 1 (24:14):
Yeah, I think there's some concern for me there as well.
I'm not overly concerned, but yes, I think that we
have to be monitoring that situation and we will going
forward to help us monitor that situation and everything going
on in the FFPC and high spakes Fantasy football is
our guest tonight. He is woefully overdue. I'm going to

(24:35):
bring him on right now. He flirted with the overall
lead in the Fantasy Football Players Championship Big Ela tournament
just two weeks ago, where he was sitting at fifth
place overall. He's got a lot of pokers in the fire,
a lot of chances to win that million dollar grand
prize in the FFPC Big Eurrill. Without further ado, ladies
and gentlemen, please welcome in our guest tonight, the one,

(24:59):
the only, the Jason co. Jason, thank you so much
for hopping aboard tonight. Good evening to you. How's it
going on this first Friday in October?

Speaker 4 (25:08):
Man, Man, it's awesome. Thanks for having me. Really excited
to talk to you guys tonight, just going over these
lineups and trying to get everything straight for the weekend
after a lot of injury chaos in the last week
week and a half. I think everybody's experiencing it, but
you know, a few of my teams certainly took the
run of a couple of those big especially the wide

(25:30):
receiver injuries last week with Malik Neighbors, and I got
a lot of Tyreek Hill out there, so you know,
but hopefully you've drafted well and can find some people
to plug into those holes as quickly as possible, and
you know, find those those good waiver pickups. So that's
kind of what we're we've been focusing on the past
day and a half. I guess good.

Speaker 1 (25:51):
I brought this up on the FFPC Insider Access show
last night, and not that anybody wants to hear about
my Scott Fishball team, but I'll bring this up. Really,
I lost Ceedee Lamb, I lost Malik Neighbors, I lost
Tyreek Hill, and for those of you who are still
keeping score, Calvin Ridley was on that team as well.
So I have in a really bad spot trying to

(26:13):
cobble together a lineup in that in that league. But
I think this is you know, like nobody wants to
admit this, Jason, and maybe you won't admit it on
the show tonight, and and maybe you don't believe it,
and that's cool too, But I feel like people who
play in the Big Gorilla, people who play in the
f FPC main event, they want to win the million bucks.
But sometimes I think like another aspect that that makes

(26:36):
it fun is the challenge of trying to replace these
guys in your lineup and on your roster, the challenge
of digging deep and trying to figure out, like, Okay,
can I can I get an elk Iya man or
off the waiver wire? Did I draft deep enough where
I can draft where I can get these you know,
quinchn Judkins pieces that were undervalued in the Big Gorilla

(26:59):
and f f PC mad because if you have those pieces,
the neighbors hit, the Lamb hit, the Tyreek Hill hit,
they hit a little bit less and I feel like,
you know, you don't you don't necessarily want to be
in the situation where you have to replace those guys.
But part of the fun, part of the challenge is
trying to do it. And I think that you know,

(27:21):
October third, twenty twenty five, Jason, there's still ample time
to do that.

Speaker 4 (27:25):
Yeah, no, no doubt, I think. I mean for me,
it's when I've had those some of those deeper teams.
One of the fun things for me is always to
try to find that guy that's sitting out there. I
remember when I had years and years and years ago,
was justin for Set the year he broke out with
the Ravens, picked him up for like a really small
amount in like week one or two or something like that,

(27:47):
and ended up taking me to a pretty sizable championship
on another platform. But so I love looking for those
little guys, and you know, I listened to a lot
of the you know, the experts that are out there
telling you who you should be looking at, who might
be coming up. But yeah, but this week it was,
you know, watching these guys go down, so you start

(28:08):
looking at who you already have picked up, and you're like,
where's the next spot that you can get to from there?
So yeah, I you know, we would all love to
have that perfect team that just starts out hot and
goes all the way. But searching for those diamonds of
the rough as the season goes on, it is part
of the fun and part of the challenge. And then

(28:29):
you get to tell that story somewhere down the road
about how I picked up this guy in week six
and he catapulted me even though I lost. You know,
the big one I was, you know, in this league,
I think was was Malik this week who I was
and I also have Lamar Jackson in the league that
I think we're discussing too. Backed him up with Jordan Love,

(28:51):
but it just happens to be his bye week, the
week that Lamar gets hurt. So you know, I mean
find I did a good job there, but you know,
and I we're seeing what we can pivot to an
insert there. But yeah, it is part of the fun
of the game.

Speaker 3 (29:08):
But we'll run Dylan Gabriel out there and see what happened.
Run Dilon out there.

Speaker 4 (29:15):
You know, I think I got Jackson dark going in
this one and a couple of weeks ago, I picked
him up for a buck and probably at least fifty
percent of my leagues, if not maybe seventy percent of
my leagues just with as you're watching Russell Wilson crash
back to you know, probably retirement pretty soon. It was
this guy's gonna get a chance. He's got some talent,

(29:37):
see it. So I'm glad I have him there. I
have him in a couple other leagues and we'll see
if if he's one of those guys that turns into
what Jaden Daniels was or something close to that from
last year and getting him for a dollar. Like I said,
in most of those leagues, I feel like that's a
big victory there.

Speaker 3 (29:54):
I ended up with Mac Collins once and had to
start him and it was forty points later and I,
you know, I just for one week I felt like
a wonder I was.

Speaker 1 (30:02):
Quickly denied later on.

Speaker 3 (30:04):
You know, flip the idea about injured players and sometimes
you just have to have patience. It's been exhibited down
in Tampa this year with Godwin, but I don't think
any more anticipation of a player doing well it could
could be had other than Worthy at Kansas City. The

(30:28):
shoulders still bad, but friendly fire run in he had
with Kelsey. He was full goal of Tractic right now.
And this is a player to me that when you
talk about neighbors walking off the stage, Worthy walks on
and I see some of the same kind of statistical production.
Your thoughts Unworthy and is he the kind of player

(30:49):
that can join the team a quarter of the way
in it didn't take that team to the championship.

Speaker 4 (30:55):
Loves if You're Worthy, have a fair amount of shares
of him this year having a guillotine league and was
able to escape those first few weeks and got him
back last week, which was awesome. I was a little
worried in that one. I drafted him a lot early
this year. I didn't draft him in my later drafts

(31:16):
because his you know, stock started to go up, especially
when Rashi had his suspension come down, so I thought
he was, you know, being overvalued when people started taking
him in the third and fourth round. So I didn't
get as much of him late. But I love him.
I think he's got that Tyreek Hill kind of potential
when he was in Kansas City, where he's a sixty

(31:37):
or seventy yard touchdown waiting to happen. Of course, he's
a smaller built guy and you have to worry about
injuries all the time. I'm born and raised in Pittsburgh,
and I'm not a Steelers fan, but one of my
favorite quotes that Mike Tomlin has is, you know, you
can't live in your fears, So you put these guys
in your lineup, and you know, you kind of have

(31:58):
to trust him that Patrick's gonna find him. He's gonna
take some deep shots with him. So he may have
some of those seven or eight point weeks, I guess,
but I think he's you know, he's two catches away
from having a thirty point week every you know, every
and now and then.

Speaker 1 (32:13):
So I don't think he does.

Speaker 3 (32:15):
But if he does, this might be the weekend the
Jacksonville Jags defense. We talked about him a little bit
last week. I picked him up, played him. I think
it was sixteen points. They're a turnover creating machine. Now,
I don't think they can cover Worthy and you've got
a quarterback who can get the ball to war So

(32:35):
but is this does that match up perhaps play into
your mind? Or is he just Worthy in the lineup
and go.

Speaker 4 (32:45):
If in every league I have Worthy and he's in
the lineup this week, especially after watching what happened last week,
it just felt and I think you take it back
to the super Bowl last year, those two just feel
like they have something together. Mallan Rice comes back, maybe
it diminishes a little bit, but I still think he's

(33:05):
an every week starter for me. Unless I had that
team with neighbors Lam Tyreek Hill like Eric's talking about,
then maybe you have a decision to make there. But
I can't think of fifteen receivers that I like better
than Xavier Worthy right now. So I think he's he's
an every week starter for me for sure.

Speaker 1 (33:25):
Listen what you're saying, Jason makes perfect sense to me.
I want to play a little bit of Devil's Advocate here,
and maybe it's an unfair way to do it. I
had a buddy who played in Fantasy foot He still
plays fantasy football leagues, but a couple of years ago
he had he was in a keeper league and he
had James Connor and he would this is before he

(33:47):
joined Arizona. This is when he was still with Pittsburgh
and he was so ticked off. We played in a
Sunday night basketball league together and it always seemed like
the Steelers were playing Sunday Night and he would never
be able to watch the game because playing basketball. And
he would check his phone at halftime and James Connor
left the game and James Connor had separated his shoulder
or hurt his ankle, and he's out for the game,

(34:08):
and the replacement is in and the backup is in whatever,
And he said, look, I will never draft James Connor anymore.
I'm trading this guy off my team. I cannot stand
starting this guy who has so much promise. All the
pundits out there is saying this is a great start
this week, and then he gets hurt halfway through the
first quarter.

Speaker 4 (34:26):
And I get nothing.

Speaker 1 (34:27):
Xavier Worthy is playing with the shoulder harness right now,
and obviously he was very, very good in Week four,
came through for FFPC Fantasy Football Player players who started him.
It was great. But going forward, and I don't know
if this shoulder harness is going away anytime soon. Is
there anything to be said about Worthy? Maybe not this

(34:50):
week because there's no Rashie Rice, But when Rashie Rice
comes back, is there anything to be said for Like, Hey,
I don't want to mess around with this in game
injury with Xavier Worthy shoulder which is clearly not fully right.
I'm gonna bench it. Is there something to be said
for that? Or is your advice the high stakes players
out there, throw caution to the win. This guy is

(35:13):
the number one receiver for Kansas City right now. You
need to get them in your lineups and we'll see
what happens. Let the chips fall where they may. How
does Xavier worthy shoulder harness factor in to your start
sit decisions for all your lineups in the Big Guerrilla
going forward?

Speaker 4 (35:27):
Sure, I guess it would be very dependent on who
else I have that if I have one of those
safe guys in those if my team's doing well and
I'm looking at that matchup and I have one of
those safe guys that I'm like, this guy's a six
for sixty, you know, or he's a running back that's
going to get ten carries and four catches that I
can kind of count on for that fifteen point ish area. Maybe,

(35:53):
but you know, most of the time I'm trying to score.
I'm trying to I want as many points as I
possibly can. Every week, you don't know what you're coming
up against, you know, you know, you see it from
week to week with you run into Kendrick Bourne, right,
and you tried to play it safe because you're like,
that guy's lineup's not that strong, and now you're you're

(36:14):
kind of hurting there. So for me, it's most of
the time, I'm gonna, you know, shoot for the stars.
But you know, maybe if I have a Godwin and
I don't know, one of those other kind of possession
receivers that you Stefan Diggs something like that, and you
cobble those together and say, you know, I don't love
Worthies matchup and wait till he's healthy. But you know,

(36:37):
and most of the leagues that I have him in,
he's one of my top three receivers, so he's probably
gonna play.

Speaker 3 (36:44):
Welkey, if this was a deposition, I would have jumped
in and said asked an answer, sir. You see because
you finally got to a scenario that would leave Worthy
on the bench. And I give you credit for it.
And and Jason, you can recant that, brother Cale, anytime
you want.

Speaker 1 (37:02):
Okay, Pharaoh, you are right on that I do want.
And this is and to continue our deposition, our interrogation
are putting Jason Coe on the standar get that damn answer.
We wont Well, yes, this is a leading question that
I want to ask right now. Okay, the Broncos number

(37:23):
one receiver is Courtland Sutton, and there are a lot
of people of the belief that this week Sutton is
going to be shut down because he is ostensibly, we think,
going to be facing Quinnon Mitchell, who has allowed like
four catches to opposing team's number one receiver over the
last three weeks. And it could be another bad game

(37:44):
for Sutton here, not another game, but I'm just saying
it could be a bad game for Sutton. So as
a result, for people who are trying to plug the
holes in the dykes, like the little Danish boy in
Amsterdam with the water coming through, with the bye weeks,
how do we fix our lineups here? And maybe one

(38:04):
of the ways we do it is with Troy Franklin,
is with Marvin Mims, is with Evan Ingram, is with
you know, any of these Denver Broncos pass catchers that
are not named Portland Sutton, Jason. If you if you
look at your squads, if you look at how you're
facing week five here, and if you look at how
you're facing the remainder of the season, really, is there

(38:27):
a number two wide receiver for the Broncos that you
like better than maybe some of the other options in
Denver right now?

Speaker 4 (38:35):
I don't know that I'm crazy about any of them.
I think it could be a week to week thing there.
I will tell you that I have an insane amount
of Troy Franklin shares. I started drafting him. I do
in the summertime. I do a lot of best ball
leagues just to kind of scratch my itch and have
some fun. And I was taking Troy Franklin left and

(38:57):
right in, deep deep in those drafts, and then I
continue to take him a little bit in some of
the you know, reed draft leagues as well. I got
a little scared off by him because everybody was talking
Marvin Mans Marvin, and I never believed it because I
know that college relationship that Franklin had with bo Nix,
and that kind of felt like a thing. So he's

(39:20):
the guy I like the best. I do also have
a lot of Evan Ingram shares, and I'm highly disappointed
in what I'm getting out of Evan Ingram so far.
Still hopeful, but you know, there was a lot of
talk of he's the Jimmy Graham from you know, New Orleans,
and that's just not I don't think that was he
was ever going to be that, But I thought we

(39:40):
would see a little bit more going towards him. So
I believe in Troy, Franklin and Moons kind of reminds
me of what you guys were saying about Xavier Worthy
there is that he just feels like a more injury
prone guy. He's a smaller guy. I can see him
being that guy that misses more time and is questionable
most weeks Franklin's a little bit of a bigger guy,

(40:01):
and I think in that number two spot, especially this week,
like you were saying, he's facing you know who's it
a Dori Jackson or whoever's on the other side of
the field over there for Philly. Yeah, but on the
other side of the field, right it, Yeah, Dory Jackson,
who's just host at this point in his career. And

(40:24):
so does Troy Franklin get you know, eight targets over
there and go for seventy to one hundred yards and
maybe sneak a touchdown in there. So I have him starting.
I think in a couple of leagues. He's probably in
my like mid twenties this week or somewhere like that,
maybe low twenties, But I think as the season goes on,

(40:45):
he could be something. I took a lot of Denver
offense this year, expecting really big things.

Speaker 2 (40:50):
R J.

Speaker 4 (40:50):
Harvey. I have a little bit of Dobbins, but I
have a lot of Franklin. I have a lot of Ingram.
I didn't take Sutton. I've never been a big Sutton fan,
and he just goes a little earlier than I like,
so I don't really have any of him but if
I'm picking a number two there, it's probably Troy Franklin,
and it's forthcoming.

Speaker 3 (41:07):
I like what I like, what's coming for you. I
you know, when we were at the draft out at
the Horseshoe and live drafting, and I was really surprised
at how quickly Chris Godwin was going in the drafts,
and it seems like he gained momentum through the drafts.

(41:27):
Through the weekend, he seemed to go a little higher.

Speaker 4 (41:31):
So I.

Speaker 3 (41:33):
Was very interested in watching his comeback. And what I
noticed was he got The stat line was not impressive,
but the targets were impressive. The way he ran was impressive,
and listening to his coach talk about how this team
is going to lean on him gives you every belief
that this player is going to return to fantasy numbers

(41:57):
that would support a real winning fantasy team. Your thoughts
on Godwin, I.

Speaker 4 (42:04):
Mean, he's that security banket right that Baker Mayfield absolutely loves.
I think there's still some concern that For me, it's
I think I'm like fifty to fifty have him started
in a few leagues, have him still on the bench,
and some I think he falls in that, Like I
have a LAVE in some leagues. Yeah, it's like Lave

(42:25):
is a pretty good matchup this week with the Giants,
So it's like.

Speaker 3 (42:30):
And another target monster, right, Well, which one of.

Speaker 4 (42:33):
Those do you go with? So those are the kind
of decisions I think. It's like Martin Harrison, those kind
of guys that I'm like, I could make the argument
either way in the in the leagues that I drafted
Godwin in. I took him a lot later this year,
like late into the fall when he was going deeper

(42:54):
in drafts because the news was already out that he
was missing at least four weeks. I couldn't understand people
taking him in like that fourth, fifth, sixth round earlier
in the year because I'm like, he's not coming back.
So most of the leagues, I think when I did
get him, it was seven, eight nine kind of time,
So he was clearly a bench player for me that

(43:16):
I was willing to take a shot on that when
if I'm pretty solid at a wide receiver, he can
fill in there. And that's kind of what's coming true
with him. So I think he'll start in some leagues
for me this week. But he's a guy that I
see probably the same way I see Franklin as like
in a week two, three weeks. Maybe he's a very
consistent start for me.

Speaker 3 (43:38):
He's a guy that I wish I had rosters somewhere, yes, somewhere.

Speaker 4 (43:41):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (43:42):
So when you talk about consistently, I mean, like obviously Rostering, yes,
you're gonna do it well. In regards to god When
like Evans is out this week, he could be back
in week six. Probably for sure back in week seven,
assuming a GUKA is healthy. This is a weird thing
to deal with. I mean, obviously it's a good thing
for Baker Mayfield and and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in general.

(44:05):
But and maybe this is a better question to ask
you once everybody's healthy. But when god Win, Evans and
Aguca are all healthy, are they all starts? And you
just you just kind of rein back your expectations on him.
I certainly don't want to sit any of them. Listen,
I I've been wrong about Mayfield this year. I thought

(44:27):
he was going to take a step back. This guy,
as to quote Seinfeld, Baker Mayfield has the covorca. Uh.
That guy just what I mean, like, whatever he is facing,
he is going to make a game of it. He
is gonna put up numbers. He is going to if
he doesn't win the game, he's gonna make it damn
sure that his Buccaneers team is going to be close

(44:48):
to winning the game. So miacolpi on Baker Mayfield because
that guy's been great this year. But when it comes
down to it, and Jason, this is not going to
post you when Evans, god Win and Abuka are all healthy.
I mean, I've see this is a situation that we
don't have to deal with for at least another week
or so. But I don't know what to do, you know.
I mean, I if I don't have any of them

(45:11):
on the same team, like I have them all on
separate teams, but if they are all healthy at the
same time, I wonder, I'm like, do I just throw
caution and Wins say yeah, Evans, Godwin, a Buka they're
all healthy. Yeah, They're all starting in my lineup at
least as a at a flex spot, right.

Speaker 4 (45:28):
Yeah, Like Buca has surprised me. I knew there were
big things ahead for him. I didn't know that he
was going to start out as hot as he did,
like amazing, right, and especially for the people that drafted
him late in drafts are really winning there. I guess
from a football standpoint, maybe Godwin benefits from those two
guys being able to stretch the field a little bit

(45:50):
more for him and he starts to pick up those
seven eight nine catch games. I love him. I've been
a big fader of Mike Evans the past few years,
and I haven't been correct, but because he's always been
so touchdown dependent, I don't have him on a single
team this year, and I you know, three or four
years ago, I had him on a bunch of teams,

(46:11):
and I've just been kind of waiting for him to
fall off. So I'm not an Evans guy, and I'm,
like I said, I've been wrong and dead wrong for
the past three years. But that's the guy that would
scare me the most because he's so touchdown dependent. And
does Ibuka now kind of become that bigger play guy
down the field and Godwin still gets all those targets.
So I think it's very reasonable to start all three.

(46:34):
I wouldn't do it if I had them all on
the same team, obviously, but but yeah, like I feel
the same way about Baker that you did. I've been
waiting for this fairy tale to come to an end. Two,
and it doesn't look like it's gonna happen. Looks like
he is here to stay and they let him. They
have complete trust in him to just throw it around
the field. And so how can you not start his

(46:57):
receivers every week knowing that you have the potential of
those big weeks.

Speaker 1 (47:02):
Here's another tough one before we get to our David
Montgomery portion of the program. Here tonight, our good buddy
Rubio has an interesting starter sick question here. He's got
to sit one of the I'm assuming he's got to
sit one of these players. He's got to start to
and sit the others. So his his conundrum is this.

(47:23):
He's got Quinn Shawn Judkins nine to thirty am Eastern
Time in London, get your lineups in early. Would you
start or sit him? Javonte Williams, who is at the
New York Jets this week, or Rashad White, who ostensibly
should be the starting running back with no Bucky Irving
in Tampa this week. Rashad White is going across three

(47:46):
time zones to play the Seahawks in Washington this week. Jason,
you gotta sit one of these guys, who would you
tell Rubio to sit.

Speaker 4 (47:55):
I'd probably sit Judkins, And mostly because of the Gabriel factor.
Is Minnesota gonna be able to kind of load up
against the run there and dare him to beat them?
I mean, also a decimated wide receiver group there in
Cleveland right now. I mean, maybe Isaiah Bond becomes something.
Who knows, But I have Rashad White and some other leagues,

(48:19):
and he's starting for me this week. In most leagues,
I think he gets some nice run in Seattle's one
defensive weakness seems to be against the run, so I
trust him there. And then can't you see that Dallas
Jets game being thirty three to thirty one or something
with you know, both teams just going up and down
the field there. So yeah, probably Quinchawn Junkins for me

(48:43):
would be on the beat.

Speaker 3 (48:44):
It's the only conclusion you can come to. You know,
When when I was drafting Bucky Irvin as much as
I did this year, it never really occurred to me
to handcuff him with White, and I that's a product
of poor thank you, And I think if I had done,
if I had spent my spring like you doing more
best ball leagues. I would have been more familiar with

(49:06):
the idea of white people. Forget, he caught fifty plus
balls last year. He caught six touchdowns. Whatever he does
running the ball, the receiving game is an impressive bonus
for him. And I really really like what this player
is going to do. And I think he does better
as the guy rather than a complimentary guy. So I'm

(49:27):
all in on why that's a good problem they have.
That's a good team, sure brand Rubio has put together
there the uh and I agreed with Jason. I think
Judkins is the sit there. I just you know, we
we have seen Judkins be a potential league winner so
far this year. But when you take out Joe Flacco

(49:48):
and interject a rookie quarterback that was not drafted on
Day one, anything's possible.

Speaker 1 (49:54):
And so I would rather have that unknown on my
bench this week when I have solutions like Rashad White
and like Javonte Williams.

Speaker 4 (50:03):
Here.

Speaker 1 (50:04):
Speaking of running backs, Jason, let's talk about David Montgomery here.
It was a massive clunker for him in Week four.
I don't have the numbers in front of me. I
think it was something like nine carries for like twelve yards.
I guess the Browns, but he gets Cincinnati this week,
who's been not only one of the worst teams in

(50:24):
the NFL, but one of the worst defenses in the NFL.
It's a week to week game. It's gonna take some strength.
Are you strong enough to say? Yes? Montgomery is a
slam dunk start in my FFPC lineups this week, even
after he puts up a bad, really bad week against

(50:46):
the Browns a week four.

Speaker 4 (50:47):
Yeah, He's starting in every lineup for me this week.
And I will tell you I sat him in a
couple last week because of that matchup against the Browns.
There was somewhere I had to start him. I really
didn't have much a choice. But after watching that Browns
defense the first few weeks, like you know, I started
Jamiir Gibbs wherever I had him, I think.

Speaker 1 (51:08):
You have to.

Speaker 4 (51:09):
He's, you know, a top five draft pick. But I
did sit David Montgomery in a couple of leagues And
but yeah, this week he's going right back in, and
I'm sure he gets right back to what his normal
numbers are against a bad Cincinnati team.

Speaker 1 (51:23):
That gives me hope farrel. I'm excited to start David
Montgomery this week.

Speaker 3 (51:26):
Now, well, buddy, I think you should be and I
think that's good analysis, and I well, I have a
follow up question about what's going on with Cleveland this weekend.
Give me a rundown on what you expect from that
Vikings Cleveland game. Who else would you you left Montgomery

(51:50):
on the bench? So who would you leave on the
bench from the.

Speaker 5 (51:53):
From the Vikings trust from the Vikings, Well, let me
I would If I'm starting the probably the only two
guys I would start would be Jefferson and Addison unless
unless I was forced to start Mason.

Speaker 1 (52:09):
I but I.

Speaker 4 (52:11):
Isn't it the same thing against him? And I love
Carson Wentz? But are they scared of Carson Wentz to
where they're you know, gonna have trouble defending the run
against them? I don't have any Jordan Mason, So it's
an easy decision for me to make, I guess. But yeah,
if if I had other similar options, I'm sitting. I

(52:35):
think probably for the foreseeable future, most running backs against
the Browns, that defense is scary good.

Speaker 1 (52:43):
Yeah, okay, well balk okay, So Jason, let me ask
you this. I have Mason on a few teams, and
I do plan at starting him Sunday morning. But let's
do a would you rather for people who may have
other choices other than Jordan Mason who acted better than me,
that do have better choices? No, come on, would you

(53:06):
rather start Jordan Mason in London against the Browns or
the aforementioned Rashad White in Seattle White, Jordan Mason at
London against the Browns? Or Woody Marx in Baltimore.

Speaker 3 (53:25):
Well, that's easy.

Speaker 6 (53:25):
Jasey Farrell, Pharaoh's probably gonna say Woody Marks, right, Yeah,
I don't know.

Speaker 4 (53:37):
I'm not sold. I know where we're going with this. Yeah,
Woody Marks scares the hell out of me. I don't
know what to make of that performance last week. You
know they've been talking about him. He's buried on the
depth chart. He's not going to be anything this year.
It's we went out and got Nick Chubb for a reason,
and now all of a sudden, we're supposed to buy
into what happened last week. I ride the hot hand.

(53:59):
I guess yeah, I'm I don't know. I would I
would probably be like one hand over one Eyeland, choosing
who like which one?

Speaker 1 (54:08):
You know?

Speaker 4 (54:08):
So, but if Farrell says that to start, Woody Mark,
I'm saying Woody Mark.

Speaker 1 (54:14):
Not only Jason, not only Farrell saying that, but per
Mar ninety nine, Adam Han, Jimmy Williams all saying what
he marks here.

Speaker 4 (54:20):
They can't all be wrong, right, Well, they could all
be wrong.

Speaker 1 (54:23):
That's why we never show because they might all be wrong,
but they might have been right. Jordan Mason or JK.
Dobbins in Philly against that Eagles defense.

Speaker 4 (54:35):
JK Dobbins, Dobbins, you're.

Speaker 1 (54:37):
Saying Tony Pollard, who I and and and Seryl my
apologies and Jason, my apologies. I don't think ty J.
Spears has been activated for this game yet. Maybe ye,
maybe he hasn't been. But Jordan Mason or Tony Pollard
at Arizona, I'll go Tony Pollard. Actually, okay, you're saying Pollard.

(54:59):
Now here's a fun and we're gonna we're gonna end
it on this one, all right. Jordan Mason in London
against the Browns, or at home against the Detroit Lions
former first round slash second round pick Chase Brown, Chase Brown,
or just a good.

Speaker 4 (55:17):
Yeah Mason.

Speaker 1 (55:20):
Without hesitation, it's Mason over Brown.

Speaker 3 (55:23):
I faded Chase Brown everywhere this year, grew Cincinnati Bengals.

Speaker 4 (55:29):
Yeah. I didn't believe in him last year. I was
completely shocked by what he did last year, and I
just was like, he can't repeat that this year. So
I am solo on Chase Brown.

Speaker 3 (55:40):
I was coming with Mason or O. J. Simpson just
to get you could get it. Okay, Joe Mixon and
Woody Marks, let's talk about this. Woody Marks was a
player that I really targeted in Dynasty, and I was
glad I did. And I brought into some of that

(56:00):
conversation that we had early on in the year on
a couple of the Dynasty shows. I are a couple
of my Dynasty teams I released with he just just
because you know, I felt, well, I'm carrying on too
many teams. I really like the way this player moves.
I like his build a five and ten pounds. He
looks like classic running back, and I think he's going

(56:22):
to continue to do well. But I also have in
your terminology and a lot of Fantasy players terminology, a
lot of shares of Joe Mixon. What do you do
if you're in that situation that I'm in?

Speaker 4 (56:36):
So I have a little bit of mixing, and every
time I look at him sitting on one of my benches,
I'm like, why do I still have him rosters? But
I guess there's some little piece of me that's hopeful
that he comes in handy somewhere down the road. He's
he's just taking up a roster spot on you know,
I don't know, maybe three or four of my team

(56:57):
something like that, and I don't have much hope for him.
But I haven't found any reason to have to cut
him yet because none of those teams have been in
that bad of shape where I really need that spot.
I did. I picked up Chubb in a couple of
leagues here and there, and he's been serviceable. You know,
so far, he's nothing great, but it's like that third

(57:18):
flex or second flex, whatever you want to call it,
he's been okay. I just overall don't know what has
happened to the Texans in the past two years. I know,
everybody was so high on them last year and CJ.
Stroud was the next Patrick Mahomes and that offense was
going to be you know this, you know, the next

(57:39):
big offense in the NFL. And they're just not so
all of these guys scare me. What he marks. I
even like, look at Nico Collins and I'm like, I
know I'm starting him in every league that I have
him in, but I don't feel great about having drafted
him at ten eleven, twelve, thirteen and being forced to
play him because they just feel like not the same

(58:01):
team that I was expecting the past two years. So yeah,
I'm scared of Mark, I'm scared of Chub, I'm scared
of Mixing. I'm gonna hold on to Mixing as long
as I can and hope that something happens. But I
don't have a lot of faith in that team just
in general.

Speaker 1 (58:16):
Let me tell you about another player that kind of
scares me and I don't own him in a lot
of spots, Jason, but dal Kincaid. I do have an
a view, and Kincaid was awesome in Week three. You
think about that Thursday night game that he had catching
the touchdown, six catches eighty plus yards, probably should have
scored a second touchdown that week as well, and then

(58:37):
you fast forward to week four. You're expecting big things.
You're hoping that he is a strong start at tight end.
He sees two targets catches, one of them granted for
a touchdown, which kind of saved as Bacon this week,
and now he's back on prime time against the Patriots.

(58:57):
What's your level of confidence in a tight end premium
league like the FFPC in starting one Dalton Kincaid in
Week five?

Speaker 4 (59:06):
Pretty low. I love Dalton Kincaid. I'm a big fan
and have I had a lot of him last year,
and I know last year was a lot of injuries,
but I have a pretty significant amount of him this
year too. He's probably on the bench in most leagues
where I have a better option or a similar option.
I guess I know I'm starting Hunter Henry over him

(59:28):
this week, and I'm even I think right now I
have THEO Johnson and a couple of lineups over him.
I don't know that that's the smartest move in the world,
but you know, Jackson Dart's got to throw the ball
to somebody. That could change. By Sunday. I might go
back to Kincaid, but that's where I kind of have

(59:48):
him ranked this week. It's like he could go for
two catches for sixteen yards, or he could catch a touchdown,
and I know that I know the Patriots had a
little trouble with what was a Tommy tremble against the
pay Anthers, but outside of that, they've been I think,
okay against the tight end this year. So was that
a one off? And you know, was that just a
Bryce Young loves Tommy trumble thing last week? I don't know. So, yeah,

(01:00:13):
I'm afraid of him. I love having him on my
roster because I am waiting for that moment when that
connection really becomes a consistent one in Buffalo. So, and
he was a guy that you were getting what eleven, twelve, thirteen,
fourteenth round this year at least I was in most dress.
I wasn't taking him before ten. I know that. So

(01:00:34):
when he did go early, I was happy to not
have drafted him. When he sat there that long, I
took him. You know, same thing with Kyle Pitt. So
like those are the two guys like I've been you know,
everybody's been waiting on those guys. And there were a
lot of leads where there I have a few leads
I think where I have both those guys where I
took him like back to back thirteen fourteen kind.

Speaker 1 (01:00:52):
Of Jason, have you in the FFPC have you been
sort of a distressed asset buyer when it comes to
tight ends, given that you do have a lot of
Kincaide and Pits.

Speaker 4 (01:01:03):
Yes, yeah, yeah, I I I was not that I
didn't go after any boers this year. No McBride. I
don't even think I have any Kittle. It's like I
was really waiting that, Like I like I said, I
have some Ingram and he was a guy that I
was getting a little bit, you know, in those late

(01:01:24):
single digit rounds. But I kind of had my eye
on guys like Kincaid, Pits, Brenton Strange and then what's
that Tucker Craft. I have no Tucker Craft, and I'm
disappointed that I don't, But like that's I stayed. I

(01:01:46):
stayed away from green Bay just overall. I don't think
I have some Matthew Golden, but I don't have anything
else there. But yeah, tight end. I this was a
year where I was waiting, waiting, waiting because I've always
been a big believer that those guys get over valued
after big years. Like I was a big Gronk owner

(01:02:07):
early in his career when he was cheap. Same with Kelsey,
but when they started sneaking into first, second, third round.
I was like, I can't stomach that.

Speaker 1 (01:02:15):
When there are at that point, Jason, you're looking for
the next rock, right, absolutely, you can remember those af
After eight or nine tight ends are off the board,
then you start looking for the next guy.

Speaker 3 (01:02:29):
Remember those magic days when Hernandez was going in front
of Gronk.

Speaker 1 (01:02:33):
Yes, how sweet it was.

Speaker 4 (01:02:36):
You know.

Speaker 3 (01:02:38):
Worked one year. You know, let's talk about New York.
I losing Neighbors is the one that hurts, and I
don't have him rostered anywhere, but I love watching this
guy play for Yeah, and the catches he could make.
It's just like each each week he surprises me with
the level of difficulty. Man, how he makes the really

(01:02:58):
tough stuff. Look now, from a fantasy perspective, what's going
to happen in New York? Ball gets distributed around? Darius
Slayton becomes relevant. Perhaps we get you talk about a
late tight end. Maybe THEO Johnson does something. But I
am I right to say that the opportunity for the

(01:03:20):
twenty five point plus game with Jackson dark goes away
without Neighbors there.

Speaker 4 (01:03:30):
I think he's going to be highly dependent on some
rushing yardage and rushing touchdowns. If he's going to get
to those eighteen to twenty five point games, I think
it hurts. I watched a lot of that game last week.
I don't know if y'all did, but I was encouraged

(01:03:50):
by watching his ability to get out and run and
not be afraid. I don't necessarily love that he was
trying to stiff arm guys and first into you know,
linebackers and things like that, because we want to keep
him healthy. But you know, I certainly losing the league
neighbors is, you know, hurts him badly. But you know,

(01:04:12):
they throw a lot of those short things to Wandell Robinson.
You know, Slayton's a good receiver that just I don't know,
has he just not had the quarterback play? Has that
been the issue there? Maybe that maybe this is the
guy that unlocks him a little bit, so I won't.
You know, most of my Jackson dark shares are on
teams that already have really good quarterbacks. I do. I

(01:04:36):
am forced into him, and I think in the league
that we've been kind of focusing on this week because
of losing Lamar and then Jordan Love being on by.
I don't feel great about starting him, but I'm not
afraid to start him, and I think I might have
him starting in like one or two other leagues here
and there and out of necessity. And my hope for
him is more, you know, six weeks down the road,

(01:04:59):
maybe he's some that makes you make a decision, But
for the most part, if you're I think, if you're
starting Jackson Dartist because you've been forced to and not
something that you want to do at this point.

Speaker 3 (01:05:11):
And his effect, who does he affect? I guess outside
of Slayton, do you see anybody else as a beneficiary
of the new line up without.

Speaker 4 (01:05:21):
I would guess THEO maybe because that becomes does that
become the security blanket like I think the one encouraging
thing too that it did. So I was not high
on cam Scataboo, but he's been a lot better than
I thought. And maybe having that running threat helps, you know,
Jackson Dart a little bit and maybe they run some
option stuff, maybe they you know, get him out moving

(01:05:43):
around this, you know, the corner and stuff like that.
So I think that gives me a little bit more
encouragement that they have a decent running game that can
protect him a little bit where you know, some of
the other teams with the younger quarterbacks may not have that.

Speaker 1 (01:05:58):
In my my on Yahoo league with his buddies. We
go over his league every day and player that we've
had rostered since the start of the season, so twelve
team half PPR league. My son says to me, as
I'm making him breakfast before he goes to school today, Jason,

(01:06:19):
he says to me, Dad, who is W Robinson? And
I said, he is one Mail Robinson. He is a
PPR scam form right now and I'm hoping, hoping that
he is the number one receiver for Jackson dart here
going forward with no elite nighbors. But I can't guarantee
that Slayton is a possibility. THEO Johnson, I'm glad you

(01:06:41):
brought that up. Stephen. Yourgalos, the Fantasy Soprano is a
big fan of THEO Johnson too considered.

Speaker 3 (01:06:49):
Bulky you have You have now exposed yourself and called
yourself out for poor parenting. Know who one Robinson is is?
I'm you know, shocked.

Speaker 1 (01:06:59):
I will this if anybody who has been normally watching
or listening to the show, you know I'm a bad parent.

Speaker 4 (01:07:05):
I am not.

Speaker 1 (01:07:08):
Fantasy football and sozing nobody right now. And I'll say this, Jason,
in regards to Jackson Dart starting this week, from a
guy who has a ton of lamar Jackson of Rock,
party of Jordan, love of Caleb Williams. I am scraping
just I'm like, I'm taking I'm taking that little whatever

(01:07:30):
it is, that metallic instrument, and I'm jumping down into
the bottom of the barrel whatever that instrument is. That
Keanu Reeves in the Replacements was using the scrape barnacles
off those yachts. I'm scraping the bottom of the barrel
trying to find a blanking quarterback right now. And I
have Jackson Dart I couldn't afford or he was already rostered.

(01:07:51):
I'm going with players like Sam Darnold and Gino Smith.
And I'm gonna tell you what right now, man, you say,
I understand if you gotta start Jackson Dart this week.
I would love to start Jackson Dart this week in
some of those leagues. So it is what it is.
We are. We are way overtime. And Ferrell has one

(01:08:11):
final question for you tonight, Chase.

Speaker 3 (01:08:13):
Yes, there has so many questions. Okay, We've got a
lot of top draft picks, and they're all not all,
but many of them are sitting, sitting on the sideline.
And and then we talked about our running back, uh,
Chase Brown, And there's an example of a higher rated

(01:08:35):
player that we're not excited about playing. Give me another one.
Tell me somebody that we might consider sitting this week.
And then I love what you had to tell us
about Montgomery, So you can't use him, but tell us
a player that you should be starting. Tell us, tell
us who is the other weekend uh uh scoring contributor

(01:09:00):
not named Jack Tungus.

Speaker 4 (01:09:02):
Yeah, that was so that would have been my one,
because I did start him in a few last night.
If we would have had that question yesterday, I started
him in a guillotine last night. And so so happy
that I did. The early round pick that worries me
the most and that I guess you can make an
argument for sitting is BTJ. I mean, he has just

(01:09:25):
been bad. Jacksonville offense is just not the same. And
I was a bit afraid of him. I drafted him
a little bit here and there, but so much of
his success last year was with mac Jones that I
was a little worried that something like this might happen.
I didn't think it'd be quite this bad. So there
are leagues where I'm looking at him, and if I have,

(01:09:45):
you know, comparable options, I could maybe make that choice.
I haven't yet. I just looked over him earlier tonight
and I still have him starting in every league. But
I think he's one of those. Chase Brown would be
the other, as we talked about if he was a
first rounder. But outside of that, I feel like most
of the first round picks this year are kind of
living up to their billing. If I'm looking at some

(01:10:08):
surprise guys for the weekend, I think I'm looking at
that that Giant Saints game, and it's it's Kendre Miller,
and it's like Slayton or Theo Johnson. It's I can
see that being an offensive game, and like, if I'm
in really desperation with quarterback, let me go get Spencer
Radler if I really have to, and maybe that game

(01:10:29):
turns into a shootout. I don't love any of those.
And I don't see like a you know, you know,
a really bright, you know, sleeper this week. But that's
kind of you know, when I looked at it this week,
that's That's who I see is some guys that may
be they're that could have some big games.

Speaker 1 (01:10:47):
The season is is still young, but we're at the
three quarter pole, as it as it were to I
don't want to say quarter pole because people like Ferrell,
who are a big fan of the Kentucky Derby, will say, Balky,
it's not the quarter pole, it's the three quarter pole.
The quarter pole comes at seventy five percent of the season,

(01:11:08):
and quite frankly, after seventy five percent of the season
is over. This guy, Jason Coe, is hoping to find
himself near the top of the leaderboard in the FFPC
Big Gorilla for a million dollar grand prize. Jason, A
lot of good insight from you tonight, a lot of
entertaining stuff. I didn't think we'd get into tonight, but
it's always good when we bring on somebody as intelligent

(01:11:30):
as you and somebody who is chasing that seven figure
grand prize in the FFPC Big Gorilla. Don't be a stranger.
Thanks so much for hanging out this week, Enjoy Week five,
and for God's sake, get your lineups in early. This
is a message for everybody this week. A kickoff in
London for the Vikings and Browns. Don't be don't get

(01:11:51):
Jalen Warren this week like so many of you were
last week. I know Jason co won't and hopefully none
of you will either. Jason, thanks so much for hanging
out with the Snipe. This was a lot of fun.
Good luck this weekend going forward.

Speaker 4 (01:12:03):
Appreciate it. I enjoyed it. Thanks Eric, Thanks Ferrell, guys,
have a great night the same.

Speaker 1 (01:12:08):
That's Jason Coe, Ladies and gentlemen, the week three fifth
place team owner in the FFPC Big Gorilla Tournament. So
good to be talking to him tonight, Ferrell. And with that,
I mean like we are way over time here. I'd
love to do. You want to go rapid fire on
these starts? You more bunking, whatever you want to do.
You are running the show, brother, all right, let's do
rapid fire on this, okay? Elick I a Manor or

(01:12:30):
Cooper Cup this week? Who would you rather start? These are?
This is simply just start sits, not who you'd rather roster,
but start sits in week five alone? Who would you
rather start? This week? Elick I am Manor at the
Cardinals Cooper Cup at home against the Bucks.

Speaker 3 (01:12:45):
Ellick's easy play couple will have a game, but I'm
not willing to say it's this weekend. Let's go with Ellen.

Speaker 1 (01:12:51):
I'm with you. Derek Brown from Fantasy prosos talking up
Cooper Cup this week. I don't know necessarily if I'm
buying In in week five. I am in Or looks
like the number one receive for Tennessee, So give me him.
Let's shift over to tight ends here, TJ. Hockinson, the
Vikings tight end. Would you rather play him this week? Farrell?
Or would you rather play Harold fan And these guys

(01:13:11):
are going against each other at nine thirty am Eastern
time in London.

Speaker 3 (01:13:15):
Excuse me in London. I have a soft spot for Fanom,
but not with the rookie quarterback. Let's stay with Adkins.

Speaker 1 (01:13:21):
I'm gonna go with Fannin this week. Fannin is a
guy that is probably the de facto slot receiver for
k and Minnesota's defense. If you want to beat him,
you can beat him at the slot position this week.
So that's why I think I'm gonna play fan In
over Hockinson, Baker, Mayfield or Dak Prescott this week. Farrell
Baker Mayfield going up against the Seattle Seahawks. They got

(01:13:43):
to travel across three time zones to take on the Seahawks.
Or you could have one Dak Prescott who is in
New York against the Jets.

Speaker 3 (01:13:53):
HM, Dak Prescott is the player you drafted. You couldn't
have Mayfield and Prescott on the same team, but if
you do, I think I'm gonna lean towards Prescott at this.

Speaker 1 (01:14:07):
You certainly could have him on the same time. Oh no,
I don't think, especially in a salary cap league, you
could have bought. I don't know the I will agree
with you. I know it's tempting to not go with
the player who crushed it last week in Prescott because
it's a week to week league. But I still think
Prescott is the smartest start over Mayfield this week and

(01:14:28):
the final one I'll bring up And we talked about
Chase Brown earlier, Parrell, I'm gonna bring him up again.
Would you rather start in Week five in the Year
of Our Lord? Would you rather play Chase Brown this
week against the Detroit Lions at home or Tony Pollard.
We might even answer this question earlier tonight with Jason

(01:14:52):
Tony Pollard at Arizona or Chase Brown at home against
the Lions.

Speaker 3 (01:14:55):
As a tip of the cap to our beloved friend
Dave terp Let's chack Let's put.

Speaker 1 (01:15:01):
Tony Pollard is the play over Chase Brown. I'm a
weak man. I'm still gonna play Chase Brown. Listen, man,
I'm going down with the ship. I am the captain
of the Cincinnati Bengals cruise ship that was looking like
it was gonna be great. We're sipping my ties in
the Bahamas. We're hanging out in the the in the Caribbean. Uh,

(01:15:24):
drink drinking, Yeah, all this from all these great drinks.
We're having crab, we're having seafood, We're loving life. I'm
going down with that ship. So I'm gonna play Chase
Brown over. We thank you. Farrell Elliot, ladies and gentlemen.
He is the definitive Commissioner of Fantasy Football. Check him
out kff sc dot com. Pharrell, be good, enjoy this weekend,
