is what you want to take away. Midnight Pacific time
tomorrow night, which we're about. I don't know what is
that twenty eight hours away, roughly that is when the
FFPC Main Event Early Bird Promotion ends. This is our

(03:47):
flagship event. It has a million dollar grand prize, It
has a six million dollar plus prize pool. The early
Bird deadline will end at midnight Pacific time tomorrow night,
Saturday night. You want to get in on this for
a few reasons. Number one, you save two hundred dollars
off your first team. Number two, you're gonna be entered
into that prestigious FFPC Pros Versus Joe's Challenge when forty

(04:11):
two FFPC Joe's take on forty two industry pros in
seven separate leagues, six live ones, one slow one, and
each winner of those seven leagues will get a free
twenty twenty six FFPC Main Event value that well over
two thousand dollars to compete for a one million dollar
grand prize. Slow drafts often running now as they have

(04:34):
been this whole month, Live drafts for the FFPC Main
Event will start tomorrow and yours truly will be in
those draft rooms. So if you want to sign up
and hang out with me in those draft rooms draft
for a million bucks, I'll be available tomorrow. Starting tomorrow,
It's gonna be great. But the big thing is sign
up and make sure you get those main event teams

(04:54):
registered prior to midnight Pacific tomorrow night, so you get
that two hundred dollars discount entered into the PROCESSUS Joe's Challenge.
As a reminder, we broadcast all those live pro serss
Joe's Challenge drafts right here in the High Stakes Fantasy
Football Hour. We will submit them to the Better Sports
Network and they will carry them as well, and we

(05:15):
may or may not have you on as a guest
for those shows. And you can not only win a
million bucks in the FFPC main event, you can win
a free entry into next year's main event as well.
It's a lot of fun, it's great, it's and I'll
tell you this right now. I don't know if I
should be telling you this. For the High Stakes Fantasy
Football Hour, a show that is in its fourteenth season.
The highest downloaded shows, the most downloaded shows each and

(05:40):
every year, are always those pros versus Joe's live draft
coverage shows, so you are going to be seen by
hundreds thousands of players out there. If you want to
be exposed, this is the time to do it. My
FFPC dot com. Just register for your main event teams
and you'll be entered in that dry Big Gorilla tournament
going on as well a million dollar grand prize, the

(06:01):
Seven Bananas and Early Rampage promos going on right now.
I'll send out an email about that. I'll send out
another email to those of you on the list tomorrow
morning to let you know that we still have room
in the Early Rampage tournament and the Seven Bananas promos
are still a lot. This is something we've never done
before with the FFPC, and a lot of people have
been taking advantage getting free main event teams, getting free

(06:22):
best ball teams, and having a chance to win not
only a million dollars, but a ten thousand dollars grand
prize in the Early Rampage Tournament, which is still going
on right now. FFPC Bestball, FFPC super Flex Bestball tournaments
going on at my FFPC dot com. And I know
I've been talking your ear about this or off about
this Dynasty league still going on Dynasty startups my ffpc

(06:44):
dot com. Entry fees range from one thousand to five
are exume one hundred to five thousand dollars. And we
posted this on ext today. I don't know if you
saw it. We are now the home of well over
two thousand Dynasty leagues. Two thousand leagues have their home
at myffpc dot com. Thank you to all you players

(07:04):
who supported this over the years. If you want to
play high stakes dynasty fantasy football, this is it. We
are your home MYFFPC dot com. Two thousand plus Dynasty leagues.
I don't know anybody who's close to that right now.
Not that I'm bragging, but I'm just proud. So check
that out. It's a great place to play dynasty fantasy

(07:24):
football MYFFPC dot com. Remember to like this video, subscribe
to this channel, comment on this video, share with the friends,
share with the enemies, and get notified each and every
time we go live, which will be next Thursday. More
to come on that. It's a big show next Thursday
as well at myffpc dot com. Holy cow, I have
been talking way too long. We're already eight minutes into

(07:45):
the show. I have not brought in the definitive Commissioner
of Fantasy Football. You check out his contest, the Kentucky
Fantasy Football State Championship at KFFFC dot com. That's where
you can compete against me at the KFFFC at j
Ferrell Elliott on the gram, on the book, he is
Farrell Elliott. Farrell So good to talk with you tonight.

(08:06):
Welcome in, my friend. What you know, Bud Well, here's
the here's what I know. A couple of weeks ago,
we didn't think we're going to see it until June,
and now you have bent over backwards. I'm on the
show tonight, which all our listeners and viewers appreciate.

Speaker 2 (08:22):
It's all that yoga I've been doing well. So you know, flexible,
it's a flexible summer coming up.

Speaker 1 (08:29):
Yeah, it's good stuff. It's good stuff.

Speaker 4 (08:32):
You know.

Speaker 2 (08:32):
They did travel responsibilities, certain things came together, injuries to
players that that would not play, truncated my trip to Canada,
and so here I am with you have to catch
up with the Canadians in June.

Speaker 1 (08:48):
So I brought this up earlier tonight, no earlier. Last night.
Jim Coventry was on the High Stakes Fantasy Football or
excuse me, f f pcsder access at too many shows
like doing no you say that all the time. I
I enjoy all my shows equally, and maybe I favor

(09:10):
this one most because you get you and I get
the hangout for an hour here tonight. You did set
me up and that's why you're the best in the business.
Let's go to Baltimore Pharrell. Okay, John Harbaugh, who is
the head coach of the Ravens, And maybe I'm putting
too much stock into this. Maybe I'm not putting enough
stock into this, but he was talking to Baltimore Ravens

(09:33):
reporters this week at OTA's and he said, quote about
Isaiah Linley, quote, I want to see him be an
All Pro this season. Foggles my mind. Here's why. John
Harbad went on to say, quote, that'd be my goal
for him. He's capable of it. If you want to
be an All Pro, you have to be out on

(09:54):
the field a lot, you have to produce a lot.
And apparently, if Harbaugh is expecting him to be an
All Pro, he expected him to be on the field
a lot and to produce a lot. This is interesting
because Mark Andrews is still on this team. Mark Andrews,
a guy that we didn't know if he was going
to be on Baltimore going forward, seemingly is going to
be on the Ravens this season. Likely had a nine

(10:17):
catch for one hundred and eleven yard and one touchdown
performance in twenty twenty four. Week one. We saw him
be elevated in a lot off on Thursday night and
Friday and Saturday obviously against Kansas City. After that, thirty
three catches sixty six yards for the rest of the season.
So this is a conundrum, but conundrum sometimes can make

(10:39):
fantasy football teams right and in fantasy football dreams winning
a million dollars right now. So I'm gonna bring this
up right now as we go to fantasymojo dot com.
Darren Armani, who is the webmaster at fantasymojo dot com,
just had him on the Insider Access show on the
Better Sports Network last week, And anytime we cite ADP

(11:00):
data with the FFPC, it's all Darren Armani's doing. He
is the godfather of the processes. Joe's challenge as well.
Perrel Isaiah, likely is tight end nineteen at the eleven
oh nine mark. Andrews right now is going as tight
end nine at the seven oh six. Talk me out
of this, or maybe I'm crazy. There's no way after

(11:22):
I see what John Harbaugh said, There's no way I'm
drafting Mark Andrews and I'm really focusing on Isaiah Likely
as a high end number two tight end in my
tight end premium leagues this year. Or am I wrong?
How are you viewing what Harbaugh said about Isaiah Likely
this week?

Speaker 2 (11:39):
We are going to give you the proper counseling over
the next three months, Bulky that when you get to
Kentucky you will not be suffering from these Isaiah Likely
fascinations because you know, coach Harball believes all his guys
could be pro bowlers. I mean, that's his motivation technique.
I really like this play. I really like Likely Coast
of Carolina with round draft foot six foot five, runs

(12:02):
about a four to eight, but that's okay. He catches
the ball well and does what he needs to do.
This is not the kind of elite tight end that
we see in Bowers, Laporta MacBride. He's Everyone just thinks
if Andrews moves out of the way that he can
produce these numbers, and you know in certain opportunities he'll

(12:24):
have spiked games.

Speaker 1 (12:25):
It's a defense.

Speaker 2 (12:27):
It usually has to do with defensive coordinators not knowing
what to do with him. That's what he was such
a big deal in that first game. He was running along,
running along the back of the end zone, just waiting
for that winning touchdown. Drat you remember that ball work
caught it. I was shocked after we left the FFPC
and this win wisdom past Thursday night drafts and after

(12:47):
we left, I remember him going as high as the
second round. It'll take those guys will have the list
ofene Rents and Gargle to get that taste out of
their mouths for the entire But he's a very, very
good football player. He's exactly what he is, a contributing
player on a team where no one including Andrews. You

(13:09):
take away Andrews touchdowns. He's not that big a purchase
either in the tight end game. But none of those
guys at Baltimore are going to gain the big number
one receiving numbers, number one tight end numbers because of.

Speaker 1 (13:26):
The running back and because of the quarterback. And that's
that's just the way it is.

Speaker 2 (13:31):
They're great for football, but you know, you're you know,
there's no there's no receiver I like watching more than
Flowers in the league, but he doesn't. He's not going
to do for you in fancy football with some other
number one receivers.

Speaker 1 (13:49):
So I'm gonna say this about and John Terry and
Tom Smith are talking about how crazy I am in drafting,
and by the way, I probably am, but I'm gonna
I'm gonna bring this up up with the Ravens. I
am not touching Mark Andrews at tight end nine at
the seven oh six. If I was drafting in the FFPC,
I'm staying away at that point for a lot of
the reasons Fare that you brought up. David and Joku

(14:11):
is a much better pick. Tyler Warren, I think, is
a gamble pick Colston Lovelin, who's going back to back
as tight end eleven and twelve, Warren and Lovelin at
the eight oh wait, I'd be much more likely to
take those guys. And then if I don't hit on
any of those guys, I'll wait. I'll take Ferguson, I'll
take Goddard. I might even take Kyle Pitts at that point.
But The thing is with with likely because his value

(14:36):
and maybe his value spikes after what we heard from
John Harbaugh, and maybe he goes to a point I
don't like at this point, but tight end nineteen at
the eleven o eight, even with what you said with
how the Ravens offense is going to go at that point,
I'm still willing to pay in a tight end premium
format late eleventh round for ISSAA likely as my tight

(14:58):
end two. I know, I understand Pharrel. I'm ready to
be hurt. Yeah, I'm still Loyer at that point, and
I think that's where he needs to go.

Speaker 2 (15:06):
But he you know, we talk like this, You talked
about moving him up. I think he's right exactly where
he needs to be.

Speaker 1 (15:14):
And yeah, but.

Speaker 2 (15:17):
Your injury dependent on Andrews to free that up. And
you know, when you begin to look at receiving totals,
I think that probably this player likely is a forty
catch player, and Andrews is a sixty five or seventy
catch player. But Andrews just has a knack for that

(15:38):
end zone, and so does this player. You know, Lamar
Jackson is smart enough to run around and big guys
can get open, so that's the combination of what happens
there in the red zone.

Speaker 1 (15:49):
I have to bring up the Las Vegas Raiders, Pharrell,
and that anytime I bring up the Las Vegas Raiders,
I take my John Terry Las Vegas Raiders chain off
my hook and I had adorn myself with its night.
And part of the reason for that is what we're
hearing from Tashan Reed, who covers the Raiders for the Athletic. Apparently,

(16:10):
Chip Kelly has been moving receivers around a lot in
the OTA so far. This is his first year as
the Raiders offensive coordinator. Jacoby Myers, Jack Besh, guys that
we thought would be perimeter guys. They have had time
in the slot so far this year. Brock Bauers, who
is a big time player in the slot, who is
awesome last year. This makes me feel very warm and

(16:31):
fuzzy about all three of those players. What this comes
down to, Pharoh, and I think I know where you're
gonna fall in on this. Where is the deep threat
that is going to force the back seven of the
defenses playing against the Raiders to give Bowers and Myers
and Besh the opportunities to make plays. This year, is
Trey Tucker enough or are you concerned that they lack

(16:55):
that lidlifter that is going to prevent a lot of
these Raiders pass catchers for reaching their ceiling in twenty
twenty five.

Speaker 2 (17:03):
Now they want to extend the passing game as part
of the rushing game. It doesn't mean they're gonna be
boring with it, but they are going to have so
much play out of that backfield with the first round
draft pick and then when most are coming in off
the bench as a pass catcher. That's why they're gonna
move everybody around because one of those if they can

(17:24):
confuse and complicate the offense to the point that it
confuses the defense, that's where you're deep down threat. The
player just running undefended will become essentially the downfield threat.
You don't have to have a motor if you've got say,
if you've got the defense out of position and pointing

(17:45):
fingers at each other, and that's probably what they're looking for.

Speaker 1 (17:48):
And we'll see what if it happens that way. This
is something that we'll be watching not only through OTAs,
but mandatory mini camp and training camp. Obviously we have
a long way to go, but if you want to
take a chance right now. I think the Raiders are
worth taking a chance on at this point. Did say
that again, Bulky? The Raiders are worth taking a chance

(18:09):
on at this point.

Speaker 2 (18:11):
And you're a guy that you know believes in taking
chances in Las Vegas? Hey, can I preempt the show
to tell you breaking news out of Las Vegas?

Speaker 1 (18:19):
Breaking news brought to you by Farrell Elliott and the
Kentucky Fantasy Football State Championship I camp at s dot com. Farrell,
what do you have for us out of Las.

Speaker 2 (18:27):
You're wearing your John Terry gift. But I have a
gift from the Dom Gazetti. Oh but on a recent
trip to Las Vegas. Uh, this is and this combines
Kentucky Bourbon and Nevada Distillery, Kentucky bourbon barrels and a

(18:47):
fantastic smoke wagon, a Las Vegas straight bourbon whiskey, a
gift from the beloved Dom Gazzetti and Kelly. And we
had a nice visit while in Las Vegas. And I
got to tell you, Balky, even though John Terry has
never sent me a gift, this is a lovely, lovely gift.
And I you know, Dom asked me he says, do

(19:11):
you ever consume, you know, bourbon while doing the show?
And I was absolutely not domb because we got to
come with our game face.

Speaker 1 (19:19):
We got to come ready to go.

Speaker 2 (19:20):
But I must confess that sometimes, you know, the truth
is so sacred in Church Hilly in terms, it must
be defended by a bodyguard of lies. All right, thank you, Doms,
And that's Tom and I are going to hang out

(19:41):
in about I would say a month or so.

Speaker 1 (19:44):
He is he has family, believe it or not fairal
Dom Gazette is from the Old Country. That's family in
the Old Country in Italy also has family and glorious
Northeast Wisconsin and Appleton, of all places, a place that
you will be hanging out with me and a couple
of months.

Speaker 2 (20:00):
It's gonna have a travel schedule that is just fantastic.

Speaker 1 (20:03):
It's gonna be great. We'll be doing our show live
from Appleton, from Northeast Wisconsin. I don't want to say
Appleton yet. I think we're going to be into peer
but we'll find out.

Speaker 2 (20:11):
I don't know how to find any of those other places. Okay,
I have to bring that John Terry Raider thing because
I would like I've always wondered how I would look
in that and you can wear it, considering that I
don't have one, John the but yeah, it was great,
and you know I love headed the Las Vegas Trade

(20:31):
Show and all that kind of stuff. Uh, And I
will be quiet about it in disrespect. I got to
spend some time with my Fantasy football people and the
ones that I miss. I will be returning and I
look forward to seeing other fellas out there, including our
beloved Rick Ross, Richard Ross.

Speaker 1 (20:52):
It's good stuff, so more good stuff here. I want
to bring on our guests tonight. That's what we got
to do. I want to bring up well, maybe we'll
talk with our guest tonight about the Steelers pass catchers
and Rashie Rice to find out how he feels. But
I want to bring on our guest tonight, a guy
who is had a lot of success in the f
f PC last year. He's had a lot of success

(21:14):
in the f f PC as long as he's been
playing in it, and I'm looking very forward to drafting
against him in kf f f C this year. He
is the nine time f f PC League Champion and
he is joining us tonight here on the high stakes
Fantasy Football Hour, and I won't butcher his name yet.
I will butcher his name, but I won't butcher his

(21:36):
name yet. Please welcome on to the show, the nine
time f FPC champ. Mister Steve G Steve, what are.

Speaker 4 (21:46):
You talking about it? I already don't want to draft
against you. One draft and white flags getting raised.

Speaker 1 (21:52):
Yet you and I, you and I were already in
a kf f f C draft. Was that main event
or was that a draftmaster? I can't remember which was
a main event.

Speaker 4 (22:03):
Yeah, it was a main event.

Speaker 1 (22:04):
Yeah. And and you are like for anybody who is wondering,
you are fantasy sopranos in camp and f f.

Speaker 4 (22:13):
PC, I got a gift to not just you, not
just you am a federal I have a gift right
behind me that was said to me, A nice sopranos
posted from somebody who'd yes, he said, welcome to the
k f f FC.

Speaker 2 (22:29):
Here you go, this family sopranos, the family. I had
to send it on up. I had to send it
on up to the Northeast, and I'm glad to see
it's got such a nice place on the wall.

Speaker 1 (22:41):
How you do, Steve, doing great?

Speaker 4 (22:43):
How you guys doing.

Speaker 2 (22:44):
We got all kinds of fantasy stuff going for you.

Speaker 1 (22:47):
I am ashamed to admit this, Steve, No, I'm going
to it. It doesn't and maybe maybe the people watching
this and doing this and listen to it so don't care.
But I graduated from college with a double major and
one of my majors was in Radio TV Film. And
part of that Radio TV Film major, we had to
watch the pilot episode of The Sopranos, which I absolutely loved.

(23:12):
And here's the part that's bad. I have not watched
another episode of The Sopranos since then, which, like, you know,
if you want to hang out, I understand.

Speaker 4 (23:23):
But listen. You know the The Sopranos. You know, it
was a great show. There's a lot of us that draft,
you know, there's about six of us. So we kind
of came up with that one day. It actually started
on we were going to put in a team. The
kids watch listen to the XM radio. So when John

(23:44):
Hansen and Kaplan before they before they retired or left
the air, they had the ACI So we were gonna
make a video. I had to bout up being the
I called the owner. I was gonna get that rented
out we were gonna extend a video. So that's how
it started with Hanson and we were cracking up. I
had called in, so you know, it was good. So
we've kind of kept it from there.

Speaker 1 (24:04):
It's my understanding and Hanson, like I still I still
have communication with It's my understanding. He's retired from Serious XM,
but I don't believe he is, like I will never
be on Serious XM anymore. I think they're coming back.
The first well we we so what that is gonna be.
It's gonna be Paul. It's gonna be Paul Kelly, It's
gonna be Joe Dolan. Joe Dolan. Who's gonna be coming

(24:25):
on h the Insider Access f FPC show with me
here in a couple of weeks. I think it's gonna
be them. But the way that Hanson teases it on
his podcast with Brian Drake for Fantasy Points, he makes
it seem like he is not totally done with Serious
x I think he's gonna be coming on again. Yeah.

Speaker 4 (24:43):
I think so he's gonna be coming on. He you know,
doing it so many years, listening to him so many years.

Speaker 1 (24:48):
He's not going anywhere.

Speaker 4 (24:50):
They're all junkies.

Speaker 1 (24:51):
We are, we are and and Steve, I want to
throw this out there right now. And I practiced this
and and maybe I'm wrong, and you told me just hey,
Bulky called me Steve g tonight, and I'm going to
do that. But I want to try one crack at
your last name. Here, the the nine time f f
PC champion joining us tonight, Steve here Gallas. Is that.

Speaker 4 (25:19):
Like Tyler Shuy Steve gallis George Gallas?

Speaker 1 (25:26):
So think about Dallas?

Speaker 4 (25:28):
This is?

Speaker 1 (25:29):
And is this a Greek name? Greek? Okay, there you
go to Greeks.

Speaker 2 (25:34):
Oh it's irish by it's Bulky, the whole, the whole man.
You were being country the guy you are being thrown
under a deluge of buses over here. And what did
we just talk about the truth and how it must
be guarded and you just went out there and said,

(25:56):
you know, but you know, Askedeve what he's doing for
a living.

Speaker 1 (26:00):
Let's get into this. I got ye to learn from that.
But okay, well here's here's the thing. Like I know
you're playing a lot of kf f SC FFPC this year.
We want to get into that shortly before we do.
Tell the listeners when you're not winning all these FFPC leagues,
what you're doing for a living to make a buck.

Speaker 4 (26:18):
So I have an insurance agency amongst a few other
hospitality businesses, a couple of restaurants. Actually own a nightclub,
so I keep myself busy. I'm going to cut that
out to play more fantasy football.

Speaker 1 (26:29):
Actually though, insurance, nightclub and and and all these other
this is listen, you are setting yourself up for a
lot of free time to be spending on waivers and
drafting like whatever it is.

Speaker 4 (26:42):
Well, the nightclub is great. I get to be x
NFL players. Okay, So can you share any names? Who's
hanging out at Well? I trying to get enforced a
scripted playbook over about it at the quiller, but it
didn't work.

Speaker 1 (26:55):
So at least, right, at least you tried. Good for you.

Speaker 4 (26:59):
I made a valiant attempt.

Speaker 1 (27:02):
It's wonderful.

Speaker 2 (27:04):
Well, you know, Chris Godwin might make his way into
your into your nightclub. If he does, he's got quite
a resume to talk to you about. Is it gonna
keep going this year?

Speaker 1 (27:16):
Steve?

Speaker 2 (27:17):
He's I drafted him last year FFBC. Wherever I could
get him? Should I be doing it? Again this year,
Balky will tell us where he's going. According to another
fine Italian gentleman from up in Pennsylvania, so what can
we do with god.

Speaker 4 (27:34):
So I'll quote Fantasy Mojo before him because that's the
best site to have. You know, when I started playing
in the in the FFPC, you have to understand the
landscape so that anybody who starts playing, anybody playing, anybody
who starts playing, you need the website. It's gonna tell
you a lot of things that you need to know.
And I'll tell you that Godwin hasn't moved since February.

(27:55):
He's around wide receiver twenty nine thirty. So my opinion
is is that when and it's a question that I'll
answer straight, when he does come back, I do believe
Godwin's gonna be a minteable part of that team. He's
gonna pick up where he left off. The problem is
it's kind of a gray area. We don't we can't
really understand. You know, I thought that that contract was

(28:17):
like a declaration of health. I guess I read that wrong.
So you know, I'm an habitual Godwin drafter. Godwin and
Rashi Rice were my two most drafted wide receivers last year,
so you could tell how that went. But I think
Godwin coming back. It's a little bit out in the
wide receiver room at this point. But he is Chris Godwin.

(28:37):
He's good at football, great football player. You know, I'll
draft them when when, when the when the build is right.
You know.

Speaker 1 (28:45):
It's interesting that you say that too, because I like
a Lacory who put together a lot of the f
f PC contributors last year in a in one graphic
and that was part of it. And these these were like, hey,
if you could draft any player, who would it be
this year? And I said, Chris Godwin. And I was
looking like a genius until about October when he had

(29:08):
that nasty ankle injury on Primetime football. And for the
rest of the year.

Speaker 4 (29:13):
The guy that looked like the genius was Todd Bowles
keeping him in a game.

Speaker 1 (29:17):
No, no, he did not look like a genius. Then, Yeah,
it's just what the hell was that like? And of
course Steve, like, my greediness took over. I'm like, yes,
more Godwin stats and I won.

Speaker 4 (29:29):
I won the game on the I want I won
that week on that last catch hurt.

Speaker 1 (29:34):
Yeah, that was that was he went out on top.

Speaker 2 (29:39):
Yeah, and you said something about what the money and
the contract meant. And you take that general manager Jason
down in Tampa. He pays for past performance and that's
why people love to play there. And you know he
that's why people love being with him. You know, he's
he's got a thirteen fourteen year veteran playing linebacker.

Speaker 4 (30:00):
And those Chase Edmonds the other day and he said
that Tampa, even though he got hurt, they paid him,
they gave him the year were speaking. So I guess
you know, it's a good thing.

Speaker 2 (30:11):
And that's what it's meout and that is what it's about.

Speaker 1 (30:14):
I want to ask you one of your most owned
players so far this year, and we'll see how it
ends up. Steve. I have Cedric Tillman on a Dynasty
League on my taxi squad, and I plan on activating
for twenty twenty five. It seems like not a lot
of people are talking about Tilman this year. Everybody's talking
about the Browns quarterback situation, the rise of Jerry Judy,

(30:39):
the presence of David and Joku, the addition of Harold
fannin junior. Quietly, Cedric Tillman is going as wide receiver
sixty two. You can get him in the FFPC Big Gorilla.
According to Mojo right now in the mid fourteenth round,
it sounds like FFPC players are sleeping on Tillman, are they?
How do you feel about Tilman and for redraft leagues

(31:01):
this year?

Speaker 4 (31:02):
So it's a matter of build for me a lot
of times. And and if we remember, when Cedric Tillman
was on the field, Jerry Judy wasn't the number one
target or or or Cedric Tillman was getting the work. Okay,
So when Tilman got hit with the concussion, after that's
when Judy kind of broke out. You know, he had

(31:23):
Winston slinging the ball around. He broke out after that.
But Cedric Tillman, I don't. I mean, I kind of
think that it was a lost season and they didn't
bring him back. I mean, that's kind of some of
the stuff that I heard that yes, he had the concussion,
but I didn't think they didn't think they wanted to
rush him back based on the fact that how the
season was going. But I feel Cedric Tillman's of value.
You know, I do a lot of zero RB bills,

(31:45):
So when I'm going to the fourteenth sometimes even in
the fifteenth round, and I'm looking to grab another wide
receiver in my second tier of wide receivers. Cedric Tillman
one of the guys I look for if he's there.

Speaker 1 (31:57):
Tillman, hold on, Pharrell, just really, I want to piggyback
on this. Tilman, excuse me, started six games last year
for the Browns, twenty nine catches, three hundred and thirty
nine yards. He did get into the end zone three
three times. So we've heard your Steve, We've heard your
talk about Tillman. I want to get your your take

(32:17):
on why you do a lot of zero RB builds.
And I'm assuming this is Redraft League's non you know,
best ball whatever manage leagues where you have to you know,
switch in players week to week. I like I've been
turned on by zero RB over the last few years. Farrell,
I cover your ears. I know you're not a huge
fan of it, but I do like to do it

(32:38):
a few times in my leagues every year. And I
want to get your thoughts on why you like to
do it in an FFPC format, Why zero RB seems
to be a good format for you, a nine time
league champ.

Speaker 4 (32:52):
Well, this year could adjust a little bit, but his storm.
I feel that there's a big drop off on the
high on the high tier wide receivers. So when I'm
going five rounds and I'm looking for to take these
high end wide receivers, and I feel there's value on
these running backs, okay, I try to take advantage of that. Rookies,

(33:17):
second year guys, guys that I think have a lot
of upside, and I try to incorporate one tight end.
Last year kind of burned me a little bit. I
incorporated too a little too often. I had Trade McBride,
but then I was taking Evan Ingram, so that didn't
work out, and you know, I didn't work out the
way I was I was hoping to. But I try
to do that just it's a preference, you know, it's

(33:39):
not a rule. It also depends where I'm drafting from.
So if I analyze the first round and I have
an early pick and I feel that my early pick
I want to take a running back, I'll go, you know,
anchor RB, and I'll go from there. If I'm later
in the in the first round, most of the time,
I like to try to take a stud wide receiver

(34:01):
if he's there a ceedee lamb of elite neighbors, Brian
Brian Thomas Junior whip around hopefully.

Speaker 1 (34:06):
To get would you include that?

Speaker 4 (34:09):
So I'm not a big Pooka guy. I was a
big Pooka guy the first year, his rookie year when
he was going late and picking him up you know,
ye off waivers and I was. I wasn't in on
Pooka last year at all. I think if you look
at my my my drafts, I might have had him
one league and it's just a matter of I didn't
think the cost was there. I was wrong that he's
a great player. Because this year I'm probably a little

(34:31):
more in on him. But last year I avoided him.
He got hurt, and you know, I looked like I
was right. But Pooka is a big player. I'm starting
to get a little back into him now. So I'm
you know, I'm definitely more inclined in that back part
of the of the first round to look at Pooka Nkoua, Okay,
look at a Nico Collins. If Derek Henry is available,

(34:53):
which he hasn't been for me much this year. Last
year I had a ton of Derrick Henry on that
turn I had. I had some safe on Barkley. I
got off of them late Barkley because I was worried
about the push push and vulturing touchdowns. I was very
wrong on that. But if I can get guys like
Derek Henry last year, and and and and Barkley, I
took them in the second round this year. You know,

(35:15):
I'm a big Bejon guy. I think the guy's steady. Eddy.
I mean, he stays so far for the for his
first few years. He stays healthy and that's a big
part for me. You know, I don't like to draft
too many guys that get in that have an injury history.
I try to stay away from them. But that's kind
of like my logic. And it all depends again, like
I said, I love the zero R B build. I

(35:36):
have a lot of targets that I've been taking on
these zero RB builds, and you know, it all depends
on where I want to be.

Speaker 1 (35:43):
John Terry wants to know in the in the in
the YouTube chat right now, John Terry, the longtime FFPC champion,
he wants to know. God bless it. I'm trying. I'm
doing my best people right now, trying to he wants
to know who the running back one would be if
he no, he doesn't want to know that. He wants

(36:04):
he wants to know if I can find it here.
Good Lord, Okay, I'll find it here. But but Steve.
If Steve is.

Speaker 2 (36:11):
Doing zero RB, which running back does he targets.

Speaker 4 (36:16):
So I've kind of been targeting. I mean, I have
a board pulled up. I'm in a slow main event draft, right,
so I came in here. Let's find myself here. So
I actually didn't go zero. I'll be on this one,
but we'll get into the next question. But I kind
of start with uh kim stataboo. I've been taking touton.

(36:40):
I've been kind of switching off between Aaron Jones and
Jordan Mason. I have some jail and Warren. I feel
in the eighth and ninth round I need a ninth
especially I'm into him, So it all depends. It all
depends who's there, obviously, Quinn Sean Joy. I've been taking
a little bit Caleb Johnson been taken because I feel

(37:01):
that a lot of the rookies of we will get
rookie fever. But I think it's a landing spot and path,
you know, what's the path to getting snaps. So, in
my opinion, Caleb Johnson and not everybody's not as high
on him, but I think Caleb Johnson in that offense
has a path to getting a lot of work. And

(37:22):
I also like Jalen Warren, so I feel like I'm
going a little back and forth depending on who's they
are and where I'm at. Quinchhn Jenkins the same way.
I mean, I think he's got a path to, uh
to getting a lot of work. I'm not as worried
about Dylan Sampson and I'm not worried about Ford at all.

Speaker 1 (37:39):
So that makes perfect sense to me. And to continue
with the Browns discussion here, Steve, if you are going
zero RB where you're hitting up all these wide receivers
and tight ends early, Cedric Tillman is a guy that
you will pound after you get your running backs right? Absolutely, Okay,
all right, fair enough, And that makes perfect sense. Let's
get let's get into Seattle here, Farrell.

Speaker 2 (38:04):
Well, I want I want to and go alad Yes,
And what I heard in all of that and you
said it twice depends on where I'm drafting, and Balkey,
you said, I'm not a fan of the zero RB hell,
I'm a fan of what anything makes sense, but I
will I will say this. I'm sitting at the number
twelve spot. Everyone is drafting wide receivers at the number

(38:29):
twelve spot. I end up with Barkley and then Taylor.
It comes back around. I end up with Henry Yes,
three fantastic running backs. Taylor a little bit down on
the year. But my point is I ran out of
healthy receivers and so if everyone can go, you can
dip in just a little too much. So let's go
to Seattle Steve. When we first started talking on this show,

(38:53):
I tried to convince Balky that Walker is just as
good as running back as Brieze Hall. And after that
first season, it looks like I might have been had
something going. But it's gotten tough and Walker dropped below
four yards of carry in Seattle. Last year. Is twenty
twenty five a bounce back year for him, And we

(39:15):
hear talk about trade rumors and things like this, your
thoughts on what you might do with Walker, and if
you're zero RB, he's certainly a guy I would take
a risk on.

Speaker 4 (39:26):
So I'm in a slow draft main event and in
the fourth round, I took Kenneth Walker. Okay, Now, I
don't draft a lot of Kenneth Walker, and I'm gonna
tell you my reasoning why. And I think he's uber
talented and I think that he's as good as Great Hall.
My problem is the guy can't stay healthy. I believe
that that oblique injury has I had read somewhere, and

(39:49):
you know, you don't believe everything you read, but I
had read somewhere that that should require surgery, and he's
not doing the surgery. Okay. I either read it somewhere
or heard it somewhere, but it kind of makes a
little sense that he really doesn't heal right. He comes
back almost every year. So I took Kenneth Walker in
the fourth round. And although I'm not a monster take

(40:11):
my own cuff guy, I took Zach Charbonnay in the
ninth round because I just don't have I don't believe
that he's gonna stay healthy. So you know, that's just
that's just my thought on it. But if he is
healthy and he can't stay healthy, this guy's a league winner.
Bottom line.

Speaker 1 (40:32):
That's the risk I'm willing to take. Stayed healthy. That's
the problem, and the and the other thing, and you
guys didn't mention this, but like, and I know it's
a it's a Day three pick, and it's probably a
throwaway pick, but I think Damien Martinez more represent the
skill set that Kenneth Walker has as opposed to Zach Scharberonnay.
And I can't remember who I was listening to about

(40:53):
this with him last week or so, but they were
talking about kind of the reason in why Seattle ended
up going with Charbone was because he represented a different
type of running back than what Kenneth Walker was. And
now now, for whatever reason, and I shouldn't say whatever reason,
for what it's worth, Kenneth Walker, even after they drafted Charbonnay,

(41:17):
he's still been the league guy there, so obviously the
coaching staff still like Walker over Charbone. But when you
add Martinez in and you have these, you know, supposed
trade trade rumors coming in with Walker, I think we
have to take notice. And and I am still on
team Walker will not be traded. That's how I'm drafting
these SAT running backs. But I understand the the potential

(41:40):
for him to be on another team.

Speaker 4 (41:42):
Sorry, when they smoked this fire, so right, yes, we
could say no, we don't believe it and we are
what we are. But when they smoked this fire, they
is great. I love them out of Miami.

Speaker 2 (41:52):
And you know too, everybody believes. Everybody believes. In the NFL,
you must have two running just ask at least at
least the Harball in Chargers, at least the Hart The
other one might just need one.

Speaker 4 (42:08):
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (42:09):
Well, when you have Derrick Henry, I mean, you're you're good.
You're good. So let's get into another running back situation here,
Steve Tennessee for the umpteenth year in a row.

Speaker 2 (42:22):
Let's don't talk about anything. Let's go zero wide receivers
and don't talk about but here's the zero wide receivers. Yes, zero,
let's just talk about running back.

Speaker 1 (42:33):
If you are going zero w R, you are.

Speaker 2 (42:35):
Not going to hear the right show.

Speaker 1 (42:39):
But if you are going zero RB, I think one
of your first running backs that you could choose is
the Titans running back. Who is going to have cam
Ward under center this year? Calvin Ridley, smir d k
Elec Alman, are uh trigger Konquol. There's a lot of
playmakers there and and I think this will indirectly or

(43:01):
make it directly affect the Tennessee running game. Steve, if
I were to ask you who the correct running back
is to draft in the FFPC Big Gorilla Tournament right now,
and I'll tell you right now, ty J. Spears is
going off at running back forty four at the eleven
oh four. Tony Pollard is going to be going off

(43:21):
right now as running back twenty eight at the seven
oh five. Four rounds separate these two guys, which to
me seems like a lot. Are you willing to pay
up for Pollard? Or do you think the proper way
to draft these guys to win a million bucks is
to let Pollard be taken by somebody else, wait four
rounds and take Spears. How do you feel about this?

Speaker 4 (43:42):
So this is such a loaded question because they're both
good running backs for this type of build, Okay, very
good running backs. And Callahan came out and he said
he wants to even this workload out, even though he
said the same thing last year that he was looking
at and Pollard was clearly from day one to the lead.
And I took a lot of Spears last year, so
I felt the pain injury, lack of reps, you know,

(44:05):
I mean, I think he heard himself a week two
or an ankle. Then he had a week six, he
had a hamstring, then he had a couple of concussions.
Pollard couldn't stay healthy after week nine. He was on
the injury report every week. So, I mean, you know,
it's tough to say. I personally look at value, but
there's times and I did a lot of big guerrillas

(44:26):
prior to you know, you know, I've done me and
the team have done about thirty of them. So I've
taken Pollard a little bit. I've taken more of Spears.
I kind of backed off. I took my shares that
I wanted early, and I kind of backed off on
them a little bit. But if I'm building and i'm
you know, I want to take a different RB at

(44:48):
where's polyog around around round six? You know, if I
want to take a Jumpkins or a Caleb Johnson, I'm
not going to take Tony Pollard. I'd rather take Tajy Spears.
So that's kind of my take. I don't think there
is a better one who you should be drafting. I
think again, it's situational. When you're building teams, you can't
draft from emotion. I've done that. I did that. I

(45:10):
did that in a live YouTube the other day. I
was with my main man, Michael Ready, the king of
my group, and I hate a J. Brown So he
dropped to the third round and he was like a J. Browns,
forget this guy, I said, And he took George Kittle.
So I got god roasted for that. So you can't
draft for the motion. You have to draft. You know,

(45:32):
you have a strategy, you have a build, you have
a process. Stick to the process. Sometimes you won't get
the results from the process, but if the process is correct,
the results come. That's my opinion. They do.

Speaker 1 (45:45):
And that's the thing. It's it's all about process. By
the way, the process of pronouncing l iro manor has
been called in the question with Adam. I don't know
if I'm mispronouncing it. I thought it was iron manner.
Adam Hahn says, pronounce I am in correctly three times
in a row, so as far as I know, it's
I am I am, I am in er fantastic. I

(46:07):
don't know.

Speaker 2 (46:07):
Kudos to Adam to bring that up on a night
when we're struggling with our guest name. Matter of fact,
when you win all when you win all the trophies
in the kff SC, I want you to pick a
relative that you're closest to that will be the one
that will fly in and present your trophies to you from.

Speaker 1 (46:26):
The from they where.

Speaker 2 (46:27):
That way, you know I won't get exposed as not
being a broadcast professional black bulky is unless staying with
professional running backs. I look at the Jordan Mason. He
was a favorite when of mine when he was forty
nine ers. Not a favorite fantasy player, but just a
favorite story is undrafted free agent. He you know, he's

(46:49):
five eleven, big bodied. You know, he's the kind of
guy who hope makes the team. And maybe he made
the team because the superstar running back can't stay healthy
with the forty nine ers. Now he moves on to Minnesota,
and I want to pump the brakes and say, everybody,
just consider this. It's an undrafted player. There was a
change of pace back with the forty nine ers. So

(47:11):
I'm finding all kinds of reasons why this guy might
be a career backbitch contributor player. And then I look
at the fact that every time he carries the ball
he averages more than five yards of carry. Your thoughts
about what this change of scenery does for Jordan Mason

(47:31):
in twenty twenty five.

Speaker 4 (47:33):
Oh, I really like Jordan Mason. I've been drafting him
on the early best balls. I was getting them in
like the twelfth or thirteenth round. He's moved up now.
I think he's ADP. I think he's going at running
back thirty five. He started a fifty three. Wow, I
think that that's about accurate. I personally, the situation's great.
He jumps into an offense that he already know. It's

(47:55):
the same offense that he had in San Francisco, so
you're not asking him to learn too much more, right,
And Aaron Jones getting older. They worked him to the
boone last last year. He started breaking down late in
the season. This year, you know, I feel they're gonna
They're gonna definitely definitely try to give less reps to

(48:16):
Aaron Jones. He's gonna be effective. I love Aaron Jones too.
Some of my biggest championship teams have had Aaron Jones
on him. So I really like when I really like
Aaron Jones, Jordan Mason different type of player. I personally
feel that this is a great fit for him, and
I'm I'm molling on Jordan Mason. Very he's going too high.

(48:39):
He is going a little too high now. I mean,
I think he's dropped to the eighth round, but let's
be let's you know, he's still he's still got an
opportunity to get snaps, he's got an opportunity to be effective.
He go to your RB. He's definitely a good play.

Speaker 1 (48:52):
I think what's fascinating here when when you consider the
Vikings running backs Jones is and I never, even after
the Vikings traded for the Jordan Mason and then they
gave him that contract, I never would have thought it
was gonna be this close. But Jones Aaron Jones running
back twenty six six to eleven, Jordan Mason running back
thirty five nine oh four. So you're talking about like

(49:15):
basically two and a half rounds difference, And I think
like we have like FFPC players are drafting this guy
as a one B rather than a true number two.

Speaker 4 (49:25):
Right now, I'm in al I'm in a slow main
event now. And he went on the eight nine turn.
He went on and Shark drafted him, and he actually
drafted Tony Pollard and Jordan Mason. And this guy's pretty
well respected, Okay, and you know it kind of tells
you and and and he drafted a third running back

(49:45):
we might talk about the night. So definitely Jordan Mason,
zero IRB Bill, I'm all.

Speaker 1 (49:51):
In on him. I have been ignoring the YouTube chat
way too much tonight. I want to get it. This
is great, It's been fantastic. Dom Gazzetti, our good buddy,
wants to know here, Steve. This question I brought up
on another podcast, Aaron Jones, Tony Pollard DeAndre Swift? Which
one of those three do you like best?

Speaker 4 (50:12):
You know, I want, I want. I'm gonna say something
and it might end up a year from now, you
guys telling me what was I thinking? But I really
think Swift has a lot of upside. He's disappointed us
year after year. But I really think with Ben Johnson's offense,

(50:33):
and you know we talk about that. You know, he's
not Jimmyer Gibbs. He's a very poor man's, a broke
man's Jimmyer Gibbs. But I do think that he has
some kind of potential in this. I like Tony Pollard,
but I don't think he's gonna be anything. You know,
I don't think he's gonna be a RB one and

(50:54):
Aaron Jones, I, you know, he's getting older, they're gonna
cut his reps. So Swift as a possibility to be
the best one three.

Speaker 1 (51:01):
You know what's fascinating is and like I guess, you know,
if we're drafting in May, we are taking advantage of
drafting DeAndre Swift where he is because if they do
sign JK. Dobbins or Nick Chubbs, as the YouTube chat
is intimating right now, you are looking at a situation
where Swift might not be the guy. But if they
don't and I think it's more realistic that that they

(51:25):
do not add another running back in free agency prior
to the start of the season, Swift is the guy here. Yeah,
I've been adding I think Dizzel was talking about this
in the YouTube chat too, but I've been adding Roshawn
Johnson late just in case something happens to Swift and
you have Johnson there, and then he could be the
featured running back in a Ben Jons offense that features

(51:48):
Caleb Williams, Colson Lovelin, DJ Moore, uh Luther Burden, Roman Dunsday,
col Comett All these guys, and he's the featured running back.

Speaker 4 (51:56):
I love that you're gonna use one of your lines.
There's a non zero chain that dere Swift okay is
a leade winner.

Speaker 1 (52:07):
Oh god, definitely is a non zero chance.

Speaker 2 (52:11):
You're you're on fire when you start using Balky's line once.

Speaker 4 (52:15):
In a while. It's a lot nicer than mine, but
I gotta give it a shot.

Speaker 2 (52:20):
It's just it's it has growth potential.

Speaker 1 (52:22):
Your beard, Steve, that.

Speaker 2 (52:25):
You know the diesel is on fire. He came on
early and you guys didn't say anything about it. The
dizzel came in here. Zero t D is a perfect
way to describe the low scoring Titans backfield. I like that, Steve.
I'll do it too. It's a non zero chance that
the Cowboys move Dak Prescott to running back. So let's

(52:50):
talk about Dak Prescott.

Speaker 1 (52:51):
Now.

Speaker 2 (52:52):
Can you make a case? Can you make a case
for me that we should jump back on the Dak
Prescott trade because each odd year since twenty nineteen, in
each odd year, Dak Prescott has been thirty plus touchdowns,
even years rough for Dak Prescott, odd years thirty plus

(53:14):
touchdowns coming back healthy is Dak Prescott this year into
a Dallas cowboy. And we always were talking about what's
left from Pittsburgh. Let's talk about what's added in Dallas.
I like the idea of Prescott, and Balky will tell
us from Armani's own statistics that Prescott is damn near
freer than he's ever been in the FFPC.

Speaker 1 (53:37):
All right about that, buddy, Yeah, I'm looking it up
right now. So Dak Prescott in the FFPC Big Gorilla
is going off as quarterback twelve. He has risen over
the last couple of weeks, so he's up to quarterback twelve.
But you can still draft him in the mid twelfth round.
At Wow, you're not drafting quarterback?

Speaker 4 (53:53):
Stage draft board up. I'm gonna go back to this
draft board because I drafted a lot of Dak Prescott. Yes,
and Jim Coventry was was on the money every other year.
It looks like Prescott is a winner.

Speaker 2 (54:08):
You mean somebody discovered that before?

Speaker 4 (54:10):
I did? I think so. Last night Live on Live
on the on the on the on the Show.

Speaker 1 (54:17):
Access, Jim Coventry brought this.

Speaker 2 (54:20):
This was brought up so so two years ago. Embarrassing.
I've got to drink some more of this bourbon, then
take some more.

Speaker 4 (54:26):
I'm gonna tell you another thing that you know some
beginner's luck. So two years ago, Dak was going about
the same way he was dropping on boards, and I think,
if I'm not mistaken, Bulky might have the numbers. I
think I finished that year tied for twelfth in the
main event, scoring in the regular season. Okay, And I

(54:47):
had Dak Prescott. And I had another one of your
raider boys. Now, I had what's his name, uh Moster.

Speaker 2 (54:56):
You could never have enough raider books, never had.

Speaker 4 (54:59):
I had most said he was a he was a
dart throw. So I was alternating taking Moser and Jeff Wilson.
It just so happened that that team I guessed, right,
I had that Prescott. I want to say I had
Ceedee Lamb. I had, and it just came together with Moser.
But that I love him. I'm gonna keep drafting him

(55:19):
if I get him in the I got him in
the fourteenth round two weeks ago. So I got twelfth round,
fourteenth round. I haven't drafted a quarterback Dak Prescott. I'm
in all day, and I.

Speaker 2 (55:31):
Think I will be too stevid here in George there's
some guy named Boogerman Freeman on here that says Dad
will be on waivers by week five. Biggerman is gonna
have to go back to remedia general manager. School kid.
You can't do well, mister Freeman. That's not correct.

Speaker 1 (55:54):
It's Devonte's brother. That's that's that's I think who it is. Okay,
so a lot. So here's the thing. Dom Gazzetti wants
to know here tonight, Steve, what part of the old
country are you from? He says, he's calibrase over there.

Speaker 4 (56:10):
All my friends are calibrace and from and it says
Silian from Corleone. But I have a lot of calibras
a lot.

Speaker 1 (56:17):
Okay. But then the dizzl is saying he thinks you're Greek,
Greek and Italian, both of them.

Speaker 4 (56:24):
No no, no, no, no, Noough Greek. I'm one hundred Greek.

Speaker 2 (56:27):
They're both old countries.

Speaker 4 (56:30):
That's it. But I grew up with all Italians.

Speaker 1 (56:31):
So okay, there you go. Okay. Michael Canzell wants to know,
and we're gonna put this on on the on the
on blast here, would you draft Ceeee Lamb, George Pickens
and draft Dak Prescott all in the same draft. Whether
I don't know if he's talking Best Ball or big particular.

Speaker 4 (56:51):
I wouldn't do that in redraft, but I would love
to do it in the Best Ball. That would be
a dream if I get those guys.

Speaker 1 (56:58):
But you could, you could get all all three of
those guys, Well, yeah, you could.

Speaker 4 (57:03):
The funny thing is I might have done one and
Pickings got traded, so I ended up having Lamb. Scott
you fell into it, and I think I got Jenen Blue,
so I really have a lot of that offense.

Speaker 2 (57:14):
Thursday night's kickoff will be a great time for you.

Speaker 4 (57:18):
Sure.

Speaker 1 (57:19):
Can you imagine that somebody who has Prescott, Blue, Pickens,
and Lamb all in the same team. Let's just draft
it in like May or April. I love it? Okay,
Final question, Farrell, Uh, we're gonna we're gonna skip ahead
because running out of time here. Really, Yes, we can't
do long now. We we'll go long, but we have
to get uh this for sure? This final question.

Speaker 2 (57:41):
Oh, you're a man of many decisions, sir, but you've
already made one on this player that you will not
have on your roster. And then you've got a guy
that you're targeting no, No, you got it. You're kind
of like me and that you can find a lot
of good and a lot of players. But I know
there's a guy out there that that you're.

Speaker 1 (57:58):
Just not going for it all.

Speaker 2 (58:00):
And I know that there's one guy that you're going
to make sure that you get more than others.

Speaker 1 (58:05):
Who are they?

Speaker 4 (58:07):
So I was thinking about this question and I'm going
to answer it to the best of my ability. There's
one player that everybody's gonna look at me and say
I might be nuts. Christian McCaffrey. I don't want any
part of me. I didn't draft him at all. Last year.
Zero I drafted of McCaffrey. Lulkey could pull it up,

(58:28):
and I drafted a lot of teams last year and
I had zero Christian McCaffrey. I just feel that the
risk and reward. There's a lot of reward, but the
risk of taking McCaffrey where he's going. He creeped into
the first round, I think in a lot of these
FFBC drafts, So he's creeping into the first round. It's
not for me. It's not something that I want to

(58:48):
get involved in, right, But again, it might shoot me.
I might get shot in the leg at the end
of the year, McCaffrey's RB one league winner. It could
happen for me, I would rather go a different route
at that point. I'd rather take Derek Henry than take
Christian McCaffrey.

Speaker 1 (59:07):
I can see that. So I'll just before you get
to the rest of this question, I'm just gonna point
this out. Christian McCaffrey, Steve he turns thirty one this year,
or thirty thirty or thirty one, right, something like that,
somewhere in their thirty running back five at the one
to twelve. I don't know what the hit rate is
on thirty year old running backs being drafted at the

(59:30):
end of the first round in the FFPC Main Event
or the FFPC Big Rill or what have you. I'm
willing to bet that you are better off drafting a
younger player there like Trey McBride, Brian Thomas, Amman, Ross
Saint Brown, Devon a chan, Nico Collins. All these guys
are going after McCaffrey. Now, I'm not saying that if

(59:52):
you draft McCaffrey at the end of the first round,
you you're dead money. I'm not saying that, but I
would would This is this that's what I'm employing to people.
And I've said this for years on the show. It's
the fourteenth year doing the show, and I've always said this,
this is a young man's game. This is a young
man's game. And when you come to drafting a thirty

(01:00:13):
year old running back who is going to be playing,
if he's going to hit on for your teams this year,
he's gonna have to play in thirteen, fourteen, maybe even
fifteen games. This year, the running back position has been
compared to being in four I think it's four or
five car accidents every single week. I'm not betting on

(01:00:35):
a thirty year old handling that. Well, I was in
a bad car accident. What you Yeah, Yeah, I was
in a bad car accident a few weeks ago. I
couldn't handle doing four of those every week, even if
I was in peak physical shape. So so to your point, Steve,
I understand where you were off him in twenty twenty four,
and I one hundred percent understand why you're off him
in twenty twenty five. I think the pastures are greener elsewhere. Now.

(01:01:01):
I might draft McCaffrey maybe here or there, but most
likely I will be going elsewhere with my end of
the first round, my start of the second round pick
this year, for sure, I'm totally with you on this.

Speaker 2 (01:01:14):
So two point question though, Bulk, in the words of
George Thurgood, who do you love?

Speaker 4 (01:01:18):
So I'm gonna answer that question, and I'm gonna tell
you that I can love a different person in a
different spot. Ye, So I can't say that I want
one player no matter what. And you know, I definitely
even though Cedric Tillman's my Michael Pittman, you know what
I'm saying to you, Ferroll, I still like to my

(01:01:40):
my person that I wanted every one of my teams
is the value pick that drops into the right round.
And that's who I want everyone, which.

Speaker 2 (01:01:48):
Of course is Michael Pittman, Tom Smith. A moment ago
and I said, you know, my answer to that is
Tom Pittman or Michael Pittman, no matter what what, what
is your no matter what?

Speaker 4 (01:02:02):
We honestly, I like Trade McBride. If I could have
them on every one of my game, if I could
get them on any one of my teams, you know,
I would love to have Trade McBride. But again, I
don't have one player that I say I'm not going
to sleep at night because I didn't get him in
my draft. I like to, you know, see where where
it comes out and the best way to do that.

(01:02:24):
You know, I encourage everybody that can get the Vegas Live.
When you go to Vegas and draft live, there's so
much of that, right, you know, it's a different way
to draft people. Players drop where. You know. I think
I got Devonte Adams in the draft in the fifth
round last year. So I mean, you know, that's you
got to find the pockets of strength in these uh

(01:02:46):
in these draft boards.

Speaker 1 (01:02:48):
Let me ask you just real quick on the trade
McBride comment, is there something to be said for? And
I was just listening. I think it was thirty two
Beat writers had this on their podcast earlier this week
where they're talking about a guy who covers the Cardinals
and and I think it's worth bringing up is there
something to be said for? Hey, maybe Marvin Harrison's lack

(01:03:10):
of production was not all Marvin Harrison. Maybe some of
it was Murray, Maybe a lot of it was the offense.
Maybe a lot of it was coaching. I don't know.
But when you when you bring it down to Michael Wilson,
Marvin Harrison, Trey McBride. Do you think that McBride's yardage
and maybe not touchdowns because he had like none.

Speaker 4 (01:03:31):
Yeah, positive regression there.

Speaker 1 (01:03:34):
Right, there's gotta be a positive regression when touchdown. And
maybe that's the answer to this question. Right, he won't
get the yardage that he did last year this year,
but he'll he'll get the touchdowns. And maybe that's the
answer here, Steve that it negates itself where he'll get
more touchdowns, he'll get fewery yardage, it'll come out in
the wash and he'll still be a time.

Speaker 4 (01:03:53):
I just think he's good at football, so I think
he's in the right spot. I don't think Kyler Murvys
the greatest quarterback. I mean I don't think, you know,
I think he plays some video games. But at the
end of the day, at the end of the day,
Trein McBride and I think Marvin Harrison's gonna be good
this year too. I think he takes a step forward.
So I mean, I mean on them, even Michael Wilson
has a chance to break out.

Speaker 1 (01:04:13):
Yeah, Michael Wilson is interesting because he's he's got that
prototypical size. He is and and I was listening to
it again. This is this is a guy who covers
the Cardinals for a living, and he said, like this,
the number two wide receiver should be Wilson this year?
Will it be? I don't know?

Speaker 4 (01:04:33):
Dorch.

Speaker 1 (01:04:35):
Well, that's that's the other thing. The post brought up Dors.
He's like, I'm ready to be hurt again, and he's like,
just stay away from Dors this year. It should be Wilson.
So I'm I'm like done with Doorch. I'm like with
Doorge my latest kf f C team name. But I
would be more likely to draft Brandon Cooks the New
Orleans Saints in the twenty eighth round of an f

(01:04:58):
f PC League or a k f f C Raft Masters,
then I would like Greg Dors this year. That's that's
just how I am on this. Okay, uh, we are
aware over time. Here's here's the thing, Steve, I want
to God, I want to talk with you another hour.
We can't. Here's here's the thing. We talked about this
and you were hanging out in the chat last night

(01:05:19):
on the f f PC Insider Access show with myself
and Jim Coventry. You've been hanging out on this show.
The last several weeks, the last several months, and you
are putting together an f f PC High Stakes Fantasy
Football Hour T shirt that will feature Farrell and myself.
What's the latest update you can give us on that?

Speaker 4 (01:05:39):
Trying to get a clear picture of y A. I
got a good snapshot, but it's getting there.

Speaker 1 (01:05:43):
I need about a week, Okay, about a week, which
is good because if Ferrell and I get on a
T shirt that will be sold to the masses. Quite frankly,
that would be a bigger win than AI for that.

Speaker 4 (01:05:56):
I don't know how you're gonna I don't know how
you're gonna handle it live in Vegas when people we
want to, we would not.

Speaker 1 (01:06:01):
It would end, there would be no live events anymore.

Speaker 2 (01:06:04):
And by January they will be cleaning toilets all across the.

Speaker 1 (01:06:12):
Uh.

Speaker 2 (01:06:13):
An artist did a picture of me sunglasses and hair,
so maybe I should just send you that.

Speaker 4 (01:06:19):
What I'm trying to capture this. So I'm trying to
capture this right here, because this is great. It's you know,
been going on for fourteen years.

Speaker 2 (01:06:27):
So are you're going to get this aggravated Japanese warrior
I show you in the background.

Speaker 1 (01:06:35):
That's that's part of it, Farrell. At this point gotta
be yeah, that's part of it. At this point, I
got my my, my Game of Thrones, All men must die.
I got my Seinfeld if I can. Yeah, he's over there.

Speaker 4 (01:06:49):
So I'm gonna tell you. You told me you saw
the pilot only of the Sopranos.

Speaker 1 (01:06:55):
I was hoping we can.

Speaker 4 (01:06:57):
I probably have only seen the pilot of Seinfeld. So
everybody sign so we have something in coming, all right.

Speaker 1 (01:07:03):
So so Steve, I'm gonna tell you this right now.
I like a few weeks ago, I said I was
gonna make a point, and i've I've I've become the
new host of a pop culture podcast here in northeast Wisconsin,
so I have to be up on stuff and and
we've we've also gotten some requests from viewers and listeners

(01:07:25):
about like watching stuff.

Speaker 4 (01:07:27):
You're not gonna ask me what the pink stuff was
on step On.

Speaker 1 (01:07:29):
I'm not. I'm not, I'm not, absolutely not, But I'm
gonna say this, like like a lot of people are saying, hey, bulkey,
you need to watch the wire and put the Sopranos
is the one that keeps coming up again. So I
feel like I'm gonna have to like set aside forty
five minutes every night to watch the Sopranos all the
way through. And I've seen parts of the series finale,

(01:07:51):
I've seen the whole thing of the of the pilot,
and I know of other stuff that goes on in it.
But I feel like I really need to get dialed
in Dizzl, who is in the chat right now. He
will tell you Sopranos is a little bit dated right now,
but it's still worth watching, like it is amazing.

Speaker 2 (01:08:08):
You shouldn't have said that, but okay, but I will
tell you this, and it's his commentary to why Steve
is a multi business successful business owner and you are
a broadcast genius. And it's because I've seen every episode
of both those shows four times, so you know it's

(01:08:32):
it's it's how you're spending your time, and you guys
might be spending it a little more wisely than I am.

Speaker 1 (01:08:41):
We have a lot of people chiming in right now. Yeah,
Dom Gazzetti, who is saying like you have too many
Italians in your corner, not yea, Dom is a shad yes,
And he also said like he's like yes, Balkey said
he watched it for an assignment for his television degree.
I have a Radio TV Film degree and part of
the I had to watch it and I had to

(01:09:03):
do an analysis of it. So yes, that is the
reason I was what school is it from the University
of Wisconsin Oshkosh that just got eliminated from the Division
III World Series? That is the school I went to, which,
by the way, and before everybody like casting its ol
who cares about UWO? We have sent a ton of
people to Los Angeles over the course of the last

(01:09:26):
twenty years. We've worked on Wipeout, We've worked on Desperate Housewive.
We worked on a lot of em each year. A
lot of people that I know that have gone on
to do great things. I have a colleague of mine
we hosted I don't want to get into the thing
on this, but we hosted a panel where a fellow
graduates came by and we talked about like, hey, how

(01:09:49):
do you make it big in the radio TV film industry?
And that woman that I co hosted the panel with
is one of the producers, or I shouldn't say producers.
I think she's one of the pas where it's always
sunny and Philadelphia now, so there is like we have
a pipeline to Hollywood, like we're doing it, and I
feel like I'm embarrassing my college every time I say
I've only seen one episode of The Savannahs.

Speaker 2 (01:10:10):
I'm afraid some type of academic administrative combination of people
going to show up on your front porch and reclaim
that diploma.

Speaker 1 (01:10:21):
Yeah, that's the thing, and I don't want to do that.
I want to do that. Stop now, there was no
college playing. Michael Canzal Dizzl also graduated from the same
school I did. He was he was. He went to
it for a real degree as opposed to my double
major in journalism and radio TV Film. Well, listen, whatever,

(01:10:42):
We're not here to talk about my degree tonight. We're
here to celebrate the nine time FFPC champion Steve g
who is beautifully working on the High Stakes Fantasy Football
Hour teach. He is going to be competing not only
in the KFFFC, but Steve, you're in my god, the
high society, the big payback. You're doing a lot of hot.

Speaker 4 (01:11:05):
Yeah you got me last year in a high society bulkeep. Yeah,
you gave me the deck. I pulled the ace. I panic,
I drafted. I didn't want to draft Sequon Barkley. I
got the first pick, I said, do I do I
take the first pick in draft Saquon Barkley. I took
the fifth pick, and I still drafted Sequon Barkley. So
here you go.

Speaker 1 (01:11:25):
Hold on, hold on? Was this after when?

Speaker 4 (01:11:27):
Was this?

Speaker 1 (01:11:28):
Was this after Thursday? Friday?

Speaker 4 (01:11:29):
It might have been the Friday one?

Speaker 1 (01:11:31):
Friday?

Speaker 4 (01:11:32):
Okay, all right, it might have been the Friday one.

Speaker 1 (01:11:34):
That was great for you. You had to love it, right,
I was.

Speaker 4 (01:11:38):
It was. It was my first donation to the High Society.
So the year I hope that you know Hubbard was
Hubbard was was was going like this when I sat
down took that pick pick, so I said, you know,
I made a statement. I said, you know, I'd rather
play poker against that team than draft fantasy football. And
those guys are accomplished poker players, who they are, so.

Speaker 2 (01:11:59):
Yeah, you know.

Speaker 1 (01:12:01):
But it was good, so much fun every single year,
and to have you. I'll be facilitating those drafts again
this year. We've already competed against each other in KFFFC.
I'm sure that that will not be our only league
that we have couched against each other. The Fantasy Sopranos
franchise owned by Steve g Ladies and Gentlemen, the guest

(01:12:21):
on the High Stakes Fantasy Football Hour tonight. My god,
what a great time time has flown by.

Speaker 4 (01:12:27):
Be good.

Speaker 1 (01:12:27):
I will continue to watch The Sopranos as much as
I can.

Speaker 4 (01:12:32):
Any questions you want, any analysis on it, I.

Speaker 1 (01:12:35):
Will reach out. I will reach out to you because
I do like to crowdsource opinions on the Internet after
I watch something, just to make sure I'm not missing anything.

Speaker 4 (01:12:45):
You'll notice Tony's accent changes from the pilot to the
end of the show. The accent is completely different.

Speaker 1 (01:12:51):
Really, absolutely, I did not know that. Okay, I'm I'm
very excited, you know, because I watched the pilot, which
I know is a famous episode. But the other one
is is it that what's it called the Twin Pines
or two Pines where they're chasing the Russian guy in
the wood.

Speaker 4 (01:13:07):
That's great, great line in that, in that in that,
in that one.

Speaker 1 (01:13:10):
All right, So Christopher Moullasante will be entertaining me at
some point shortly because I'm very excited to watch this.
I'm very excited to talk with you, Steve. This was
so much fun. Great guys, you guys having me, Yeah,
and I appreciate you coming on. Enjoy the rest of
the drafting season. We will talk with you again shortly,

(01:13:32):
and I know that I'll be facilitating your drafts out
in Las Vegas at Paris Casino.

Speaker 4 (01:13:36):
Thank you so much, you guys. Think you having good night? Guys.

Speaker 1 (01:13:41):
That is Steve g hanging out the Fantasy Sopranos uh
joining us on the high stakes Fantasy Football Arts Night Ferrel.
I don't know, like I do this two hour show
on Thursdays, and I'm always worried. I'm like, God, am
I gonna have enough content? And then I do this
show on Fridays and I feel like I just we
just we have too much content and we feel.

Speaker 2 (01:14:00):
Like on Thursday, you're kind of cheating on this.

Speaker 1 (01:14:03):
No, I'm cheating on you. And I feel like we
could go two four hours tonight.

Speaker 2 (01:14:06):
You know, We've got like Jimmy Williams came in the
show late. I think James Hicks was in there earlier.
I'd like to see if anybody can can comment in
the Pine Barons.

Speaker 1 (01:14:16):
By the way, Dizzel is pointing that out. I'm sorry.

Speaker 2 (01:14:19):
Episode Yes, I'm curious if anyone can point out what
Furio I had to say about golf. That was one
of my favorite lines.

Speaker 1 (01:14:30):
What did that?

Speaker 2 (01:14:31):
Well, you don't know.

Speaker 1 (01:14:31):
Who any of these people are. What I don't know?

Speaker 2 (01:14:36):
This cereal? Yes, Furio, it's a character parrel.

Speaker 1 (01:14:40):
I'm gonna. I'm gonna give you this right now. Listen.

Speaker 2 (01:14:47):
I came in with, uh, I think just the other
way around.

Speaker 1 (01:14:52):
I think you used stupid first. Yeah, okay, well there
it is. I'm gonna. I'm gonna and Dizzel appreciate this.
So a lot of times I will work late into
the night and I will have trouble falling asleep at night.
I tell you, guys, kids exactly. But I was watching
I don't know why I stumbled upon this. I was

(01:15:15):
watching Norm McDonald doing SNL weekend Update jokes, which was fantastic,
and like, there's no real end to the story here,
like from we're talking about like with Sopranos or whatever.
I just look back on all the jokes he was
making about OJ Simpson back in the day or whatever,

(01:15:37):
and I'm telling you, man, like, there are certain things
I will watch and I will be able to fall
asleep too. Within like four or five minutes at night.
But when I put Norm MacDonald on my YouTube late
at night, I can't It's two hours worth. And it's
just like I didn't really appreciate how good he was
while he was alive, and now I watch it. Stuff, God,
it is just it is so good.

Speaker 2 (01:16:00):
He's the best. He is. Came out here on the plane.

Speaker 1 (01:16:04):
He's just he's the man. I mean, you know that's
his line. Came out here on the plane. Came out
here on the plane.

Speaker 2 (01:16:09):
Yeah you're here.

Speaker 1 (01:16:10):
Norm came out here on the plane. Well, yes, and
he had the whole Hitler's Dog thing. That was another
big But I mean, like there there's like YouTube videos
like twenty five minutes fifty minutes, one hundred and five
minutes long of him just doing nothing but O. J.
Simpson jokes, and like it's just god, the dead pan
stuff is so good. And you watch, you watch, like

(01:16:33):
you know these comedians nowadays, like Mark Maron and Conan O'Brien,
and they will bring other comedians on and they will
talk about those jokes. Yeah that's all they And again,
I don't know how we got on the subject or
how I got on the subject of this well, you.

Speaker 2 (01:16:47):
Know you're a well rounded individual. Uh Courtney Thorne Smith.
Norm McDonalds, Yes, that is probably the best one, I think.

Speaker 1 (01:16:59):
I so so there's two total.

Speaker 2 (01:17:01):
Everybody in the chat room to see that. When he
talks about carrot top.

Speaker 1 (01:17:05):
I'm gonna leave you. I'm gonna leave you with this.
Go on the internet, go on YouTube and search Norm MacDonald,
Courtney Sport, Courtney Courtney Chairman of the Board, and and
watch that because it's it's it's dynamite. And Dizzel will
say this as well. Dizzel will tell you too. And
it's a long one. It's like fifteen minutes long, but

(01:17:26):
it's well worth it. The firefly I think it's the
firefly joke that he did and cone it, which was great.

Speaker 4 (01:17:33):
B S O L.

Speaker 1 (01:17:34):
This is one of my favorites as well. The Norm
MacDonald wife and a coma joke. It is absolutely hilarious.

construction stuff. You can watch that on the Better Sports

(01:24:45):
again next week.

Speaker 1 (01:24:49):
We'll let everybody know this too as well. I know
I give you a hard time with like the hard
cell with FFPC drafts. I'm just telling you right now
now we're at May thirtieth. Whether you want to draft
in the KFFFC or FFPC, not a whole lot of
new information is going to come out until August. So
if you want to cash in on some really good

(01:25:11):
adp on players that you believe in or don't believe in,
now is the time to do it. Over the next
two months, you're going to be able to build up
your portfolio with some really really good teams if you
are right in what you believe. So, if you believe
in your convictions that how you think about a certain
player or players, or strategy or strategies will work or

(01:25:32):
will not work, now is the time to do it
because you're going to have two months of free drafting
where you can cash in maybe some big time prizes,
including but not limited to a million dollar grand prize
in the FFPC main event or the Big Gorilla Championship
with the FFPC as well That is my plea to
you and listen. If you don't want to draft, I

(01:25:55):
get it, but I'm telling you from a guy speaking
from experience who talked to a lot of champions on
this show. Now's the time to draft, So get in
while you can at my f f PC dot com,
k f f f C dot com. We'll talk with
you next Friday.
