Even the "entry level" EV SUV from Cadillac should not be considered "entry level". The brand has long stood above many other manufacturers with high-end features and capabilities. And that includes the Lyriq, which I refer to as the older sister of the Optiq.
Though not as powerful as Big Sis, the Optiq has almost the same range and similar features inside the cabin.

There are only 4 minivans available in the U.S., and I have long recommended the Chrysler Pacifica should you be in the market for a luxurious chariot to schlep your kids around town.
The 2025 Limited version is no exception as I took it for a week-long spin. Probably could have lived in it (down by the river) as the creature comforts are second-to-none compared to others in its class. And don't forget about the built-in vacuum ...
I named the Buick Envista my "Car of the Year" last year and this past week I got to drive the top-of-the-line Avenir model. Pretty much every option is added and they still are able to offer it for just over $30,000.

If you're looking for an EV, might a recommend taking a spin in Chevy's Blazer. Yes, the big bowtie has pumped out electric Blazers for a few years and the SS model - Super Sport - is worth the test drive.

Slap a PRO-4X badge on most any product and odds are I will like it. Hell, put it on a jar of mayonnaise and I may even consider tasting it (well, maybe not THAT far).
Nissan put its PRO-4X off-road trim package on the mid-size Frontier truck and I enjoyed zipping around the city and the dirt in the upscale features it provides.

Not enough superlatives to list here so you need to listen to my review. But the Escalade IQ is big, luxurious, large, tech-filled, monstrous, easy-to-drive, a behemoth, and quick.

Looking for a luxurious and affordable small SUV? Yes, they actually exist but you need to look hard. Luckily I did the legwork for you and recently drove the new Nissan Rogue.
It's one of the best-selling vehicles on the market and comes in no less than 5 different trims. I got to roll around in the top-of-the-line Platinum AWD for a week.

Italian sexiness on the road. The Alfa Romeo Tonale is a sexy, sleek and fast car that turns head and gives the driver confidence and a smile.
I like the upgraded tech features that Stellantis added over the years.

An affordable compact SUV that is packed with tech features and good handling. It may not be as peppy as you want but the 1.2L turbo-charged engine still gets you through the urban and suburban jungle with ease.

I've always loved Nissan's big SUV, the Armada. But now that they've added a Pro 4-X badge on the 2025 model, the game has changed.
Easily one of the best and most comfy vehicles I have test driven this year and this now shoots to the top of my list when recommending large SUVs.

Just a few weeks ago I reviewed the Chevy Traverse, a solid 3-row SUV. Now it's time to talk about it's upscale sister vehicle, the GMC Acadia Denali.
The specs under the hood are exactly the same but the inside touches of ultra-luxury are the difference, along with the $9,000 price difference.

Loud, Proud, and Electrified. Not many vehicles can be described like that as most all EVs are nice and quiet. Not the new Dodge Charger.
Thanks to its Fratzonic Exhaust Chamber, it can emit a loud, roaring sound that emulates its gas-powered older brother. A fun and sexy car that is superfast (670 hp).

A mid-sized SUV with 3 rows at a price point I consider a good value. A bit more sleek and modern versus last year's model, the Traverse is one of my recommendations for an SUV.

There are lots of SUV s to choose from and if you want one that can handle itself off-road as well as it drives on city streets, take a look and a test drive of the new Nissan Pathfinder Rock Creek edition.
3 rows of seating, a 3.5L V6 engine with best-in-class towing of up to 6,000 lbs, this vehicle handles well yet still takes on gravel and dirt roads with the best of them.

A promising addition to the growing electric SUV market, offering a balance of affordability, practicality, and modern technology.
A sleek design, decent driving range, and user-friendly tech (I like that), this EV should be a top choice for budget-conscious drivers looking to get into the EV market.

C'mon, some people out there is interested in a minivan, right? Well this thinks its an SUV with its bold look and tech-packed interior. It holds up to 8 people and it gets very good mileage due to its hybrid battery.
