Frustrated by the limited selection of fresh mushrooms in her local market, she decided to take matters into her own hands and grow her own. What started as sharing her harvest with family and friends quickly transformed into a venture at local farmers' markets, where she discovered her true passion. From humble beginnings in a spare room, Tatrina has expanded The Purple Mushroom into a thriving 4,000 square foot warehouse.
