The scar from a hip replacement will get smaller and less noticeable over time but will never go away completely. It may even transform from a raised, rigid area that resembles a zipper to a smooth and slightly recessed area in the hip.

You may or may not feel the stigma of a hip replacement. Everyone’s circumstances differ including age, stage of life, support network, goals and mindset. Know that you are not broken and you control the extent, or impact, of any negative feelings regarding a hip replacement.
You can still dominate and do great things in your life. You are not alone in your journey.

Either walk the whole way or alternating the walk and run
1. Walk Faster – How To
Walk with intent
Focus - if mind drifts off, you'll slow down
Keep track of your times - miles or km’s or whatever distance
Arms control speed of legs
Keep arms bent at 90 degree – they will move faster and so will legs
