About our guest: 

Neil Orne is an Emmy-winning journalist, Edward R. Murrow Award recipient, and media entrepreneur based in Nashville. For nearly 30 years, he was a trusted anchor on WKRN News 2, guiding Middle Tennessee through major events like the 1998 tornado outbreak and Hurricane Katrina. A third-generation broadcaster, Neil got his start in radio at his family’s station in Maine after earning a business degree and playing collegiate lacrosse at the University of Denver. 


Today, Neil is CFO of KBEAUTÉ, a fast-growing Korean-inspired wellness brand, and co-host of the hit podcast Not The News with Nikki Burdine. He’s developing more podcasts, writing a newsroom sitcom, and co-creating an on-camera confidence course for professionals. He recently completed his first Half Ironman and plans a full Ironman in 2026 to celebrate turning 60. 


A licensed pilot, golfer, and volunteer, Neil also hosts the Easter Seals Nashvillian of the Year Awards. Whether on screen, behind the mic, or in the boardroom, Neil brings clarity, creativity, and heart to everything he does.
