Kimberly van Tol is a seasoned copywriter and translator with over 8 years of experience, specializing in Dutch and English. Her work includes business writing, web copy, blogging, brand voice & messaging, white papers, communication guidelines, brochures, flyers, packaging, and biographies, among many other things.
Kimberly’s goal is to become the go-to writer for businesses in Alberta and lead an international team of copywriters and translators.
In addition to her copywriting career, she holds a Master’s Degree in Special Education and teaches at the university level, focusing on autism spectrum disorder, learning disabilities, and special education.
Originally from the Netherlands, Kimberly has called Edmonton, AB home for the past 11 years.
She currently has two fur babies: our two rescue dogs, Calli and Loki. We also foster dogs for Second Chance Animal Rescue Society, and have fostered 19 dogs so far.
She enjoys painting, drawing, baking, gardening, reading, learning, listening to podcasts and audiobooks, and building miniature dollhouses. Kimberly & her husband love taking road trips in our retro campervan.
She is passionate about building genuine relationships and continuously learning. Her desire is to achieve full location independence and live on a hobby farm with lots of rescue animals.
