I'll be honest with you, I was sick, recovering with a mild fever and it hurt to talk, so you get introduced to a new Brent this week, "FEVER BRENT!" We're bringing The Black History Month Marathon to a close this year with the movie that saved Marvel Comics and is the reason you have all your MCU films now! It may be crazy to say but, I was never a huge fan of this film growing up, can't really say why. Now, I get to watch it with new (old) eyes and give it a true try and see if I can see what everyone fell in love with back in the late 1900's.

So a comedian wrote it and an action guy directed it, surely there will be no massive changes in tone throughout the film right? Doesn't matter because this soundtrack is perfect and so is 1992 Stacey Dash!

The bag is back and like always it brought us some "grade A trash!" (Shout out to PJ)
This film was a favorite of our uncles back in the day and I had forgotten all about it until recently. Can never really go wrong with a dumb action flick and it brought back good memories of the video store and late nights with pizza and HBO. Lets enjoy a simpler time.

It's my birthday today, so I figured i'd celebrate by watching my favorite movie of all time and make Chris and Anita watch it with me! Chris watched the Directors Cut and Anita and I watched the Final Cut. Starting off 2026 with a triple feature of movies I had never seen before. Watching a bunch of blue aliens run through trees and fly around on birds, didn't seem to really be my thing but you know, there may be something here. A while back, we watched Kubrick's The Shining and Anita was not a fan.
