Hello and welcome back to the campfire! Today we have Madeleine and Amber from Barefoot University joining us. Amber and Madeleine were two homeschooling moms looking for a community to walk alongside them and their kid's zeal for nature while navigating homeschooling, parenting, and life.
That’s when Barefoot University was born. Barefoot University follows the forest school principles for child led outdoor exploration, risk play, and nature-based skills. Along with these principles, Madeleine and Amber aim to create strong communities of families who enjoy meeting together weekly, organize activities by focusing on yearly learning rhythms, and teach kids the importance of serving through community service projects.
So grab a seat by the fire as we travel to the Dallas-Fort Worth area and discuss how the magic happens when kids are outdoors in nature!
