Welcome to another episode of The Homestretch w/Adrian Durant, where we meet and have conversations with some of the most inspiring and elite athletes, coaches and sports personalities. Today we have one of the most talented and experienced sprinters in the U.S., Mike Rodgers. The two-time World Championship medalist has been at the top of his sprinting for the last ten years, Mike has been dueling with some of the fastest men in history and he recently won a Gold Medal at 2019 World Championships, Doha. Mike has competed at various international events including Olympics, DecaNation and Pan American Games where he won medals in many events.

 

In this podcast with athlete Mike Rodgers, we will talk about how he got into Track and Field, his time at Lindenwood University and Oklahoma Baptist University where he was a 10-time NAIA national champion from 2005 to 2007. Rodgers also shares his life story and what his childhood was like. We talk about Mike Rodger's training and routine. After winning the 2019 World Championships, Mike also shares what he looks forward to in his career and also his plans for the future.
