Ever wondered why your zodiac sign horoscope forecast doesn’t always explain everything about you? This episode looks into the meaning of your Rising Sign aka Ascendant, one of the most overlooked keys in astrology that shapes how your entire life unfolds.

You’ll learn:

  • How to find your Rising Sign

  • Why your birth time matters

  • How this single placement reveals the rhythm, timing, and recurring patterns that define your story.

Your Rising Sign element — Fire, Earth, Air, and Water — describes your birth experience, body rhythm, early environment, and emotional responses. And you’ll also discover how your Rising Sign’s opposite, the Descendant, completes your growth story, and how your chart ruler — the planet that governs your Ascendant sign — acts as the narrator of your life.

Whether you’re brand new to astrology or ready to move beyond your Sun sign, this episode will help you see yourself through a new lens: one that explains why your life happens in the order it does.

If you've ever felt that astrology speaks to you in so
many ways, but that it leaves certain other things
unexplained, then that's becauseyou're probably ready to learn
about more than just your sun sign.
It's true that your sun sign offers a powerful forecast of
your purpose, of your vitality, of the qualities you're here to

(00:22):
express. It's your sun sign that hints at
the life you're here to experience, but there's many
layers that you can unravel within the cosmic patterns you
were born with. And the layer we are talking
about today is going to be your rising sign, also known as your
Ascendant. Welcome to The Horoscope Vault,

(00:45):
a podcast that explores the world and your life through the
lens of astrology. With a view to supporting you
through the ups and downs and helping you make more confident
decisions. Through each chapter, this
episode is helping you get connected to the concept of the
Ascendant. You may have heard about the
rising sign in astrology and if you wanted to know more about

(01:05):
yours, then this is the episode to tune into.
And your rising sign is not justthe mask that you wear or the
impression that you give off. Like pop astrology teaches you,
Your rising sign tells the storyof how you arrived.
It talks about the details of your birth, whether that was

(01:26):
easy or challenging. Your rising sign sets the
sequence of order of your life'sbiggest experiences.
And so in this episode, you willlearn how to unlock your rising
sign and explore the secret codebehind the recurring cycles and
patterns of your life. Enjoy this episode and drop me a

(01:46):
comment to let me know what yourrising sign is.
So it's your rising sign that reflects your birth portal.
The rising sign is the literal most beginning part of your
story and is why knowing that your time of birth is also vital

(02:10):
in astrology because at the verymoment you were born, a specific
sign was rising on the eastern horizon.
And that sign is the sign that becomes your ascendant.
The ascendant indicates the toneof your entry into the world.
It's the energy that greeted you.
It's the conditions that shaped you upon your very first breath.

(02:32):
And so this episode has a littlebit of an interactive element to
it where you will want to discover your rising sign.
So let's start with that. Let's find your rising sign.
You'll need 3 exact pieces of birth information #1 date of
birth #2 place of birth. So the city and the country and
#3 as close to possible your exact time of birth, ideally

(02:58):
sourced from your birth certificate or a hospital
record. And the time of birth is really
what makes the difference because the ascendant changes
signs roughly every two hours. So a birth time difference of 15
to 20 minutes can shift it quiteenormously.
So you'll want to use a trusted astrology chart calculator.

(03:21):
My most favorite and reliable and often trusted site is
astro.com. If you have your birth
certificate, check it to see if it does include the time of
birth. And if it doesn't, you can
sometimes obtain it through yourlocal vital records office or
just the General Hospital archives.

(03:41):
And once you have that info and once you are on astro.com, enter
your birth date, your birthplace, and your time of
birth, and then the program willcalculate your full Natal chart.
Your rising sign will appear near the top left hand side of
the information and it will say something like ascendant and

(04:03):
then it will say the sign. And of course then there's the
visual chart, the wheel that shows your ascendant or your
first house cast on the left of that wheel and that is where you
will find the sign. So take a screenshot and have
that visual as you are listeningand take a look at the left side

(04:24):
of your Natal wheel, there will be 3 letters ASC, which stands
for Ascendant. And whichever sign that that ASC
line intersects through that is your rising sign.
Now if your birth time is unknown, you might benefit from

(04:45):
having your chart rectified. And most professional
astrologers can do this using major life events like big
moves, big career changes, relationships, and family
milestones. And it helps Orient your chart
to determine what is actually your true ascending sign.
And so if you don't know your birth time and you want help
with that, I have included the rectification reading in the

(05:07):
show notes below. Or maybe you can just embark on
searching for this on your own. It is called chart
rectification, and just make sure the information you use is
from reputable astrologers. Once you've found your rising
sign, make a note of it. It may or may not be the same as
your sun sign. I've seen that in many charts

(05:28):
across time, and both the Sun and the Ascendant work together.
Your Sun describes who you are at your core, and then your
rising sign describes how you fit into this world and how you
arrived in the world too. So if you are a fire rising
sign, that is Aries, Leo or Sagittarius rising, then your

(05:52):
entry into the world may have carried some heat or some speed
or some intensity and your birthmay have happened suddenly.
You may have been born earlier than expected, or your birth
might have involved some quick decisions and some strong
physical effort. The delivery room may have been
loud, it may have been rushed. It may have been full of people,

(06:15):
bright lights, raised voices, and a big sense of movement and
urgency. And it's possible that you
arrived fast. And then life has likely
followed that same kind of rhythm where you take action 1st
and reflect later. If you are an Earth rising sign,

(06:35):
so that's Taurus, Virgo, or Capricorn, then your birth may
have unfolded slowly and much more methodically.
It might have been a long labor and overdue arrival or one of
those births that needed to be planned or maybe even medically
managed. And the environment was likely
more stable and organized, even if it required, you know,

(06:57):
endurance. You did enter the world on your
own time and it was very grounded and deliberate and set
this steady tone that often continues throughout your life.
If you are an air rising sign, so air signs are Gemini, Libra
and Aquarius, then your arrival may have been surrounded by

(07:17):
motion and change. So maybe plans shifted at the
last minute, maybe a different doctor, a new hospital, or your
birth happens at a very unexpected time of day.
There may have been lots of conversation and people moving
in and out, lots of decisions orcircumstances that just felt
breezy and unpredictable. And this is because air rising

(07:40):
signs tend to enter life in the middle of transitions, sometimes
literally while someone else is talking or thinking or making a
quick decision. If you are a water rising sign
that is Cancer, Scorpio or Pisces, then your birth can
carry some emotional, some sensory, some intuitive

(08:02):
undertones where there might have been some heightened
emotion in the room, some tears or some soft music, or some
quiet unspoken intensity. And sometimes there may have
been some water symbolism aroundthe birth itself.
So you know a water birth, or maybe you were born on a day
that there was a storm outside, or maybe there were medical

(08:24):
procedures involving fluids or anaesthesia.
You may have been highly responsive from the moment of
your first breath, absorbing allof the emotional climate around
you like a sponge. The rising sign can also
describe how your mother or caregiver experienced your
arrival. So if you are an Aries rising,

(08:45):
this could indicate that your mother showed courage and
strength and determination during the birth.
For Taurus rising, this suggestsa mother who remained calm and
patient and steady, with maybe aparticularly long labor.
Gemini rising can point to a mother who was very alert and
talkative and managing several decisions and changes all at

(09:07):
once. For Cancer rising, this suggests
a mother who felt very deeply emotional and protective and
strongly connected throughout the birth.
Leo rising suggests a mother whowas expressive and proud and
surrounded by attention and support.
Virgo rising may suggest a mother who was practical and

(09:29):
very organized and very focused on the procedural details.
Libra rising indicates a mother who valued harmony and
partnership and a peaceful atmosphere in the room.
Scorpio rising suggests a motherwho experienced intensity, who
craved privacy, or who went through profound emotional

(09:50):
transformation as a result of the birth.
Sagittarius rising can point to a mother who was optimistic and
very spirited and very adventurous, even while feeling
exhausted from childbirth. Capricorn rising indicates a
mother who did everything in herpower to stay composed and
strong and focused on doing whathad to be done.

(10:13):
Aquarius rising suggests a mother who approached the birth
calmly and rationally, or maybe even unconventionally.
And if you're a Pisces rising, this may indicate that your
mother felt dreamy and emotionalor detached, or maybe she needed
more medication than usual. The rising sign is the tone of

(10:35):
that first moment that imprints the way you initiate almost
everything else in life. It's how you enter new
experiences. It's how you enter into new
projects and relationships for pretty much the rest of your
days. And just as your rising sign
marks the moment your body took its first independent breath, it

(10:57):
also describes how your body continues to handle life.
It represents your natural strengths, your sensitivities,
and the way that energy moves with and through you.
In medical astrology, the ascendant is the starting point
for understanding vitality. So it shows where and how your
body thrives, where and how it might need extra support.

(11:20):
And you can much better have a relationship with your physical
body when you recognize the rhythm of your system and the
kind of care that it responds tobest.
So those fire rising signs, if you are Aries, Leo, or
Sagittarius, your body tends to burn energy quickly.
There's warmth, there's motion, but there's also a tendency to

(11:44):
overexert. If you're a fire rising sign
that you benefit from balance, you need consistent sleep,
hydration, and cooling kinds of foods that slow the pace when
life begins to run hot Earth rising signs.
So if you are Taurus, Virgo, or Capricorn, your body is durable,
your body is grounded, and you often have a strong recovery

(12:07):
ability. Even if it's a slower recovery
ability and you thrive on regular habits, you do best with
steady meals, consistent movement, and environments that
feel stable. Your body prefers rhythm over
extremes. If you are an Air rising sign, a
Gemini, a Libra or Aquarius rising, then the nervous system

(12:29):
is your main interface. It's very quick to react.
You can be very easily stimulated, very sensitive to
noise, incredibly sensitive to caffeine, amazingly remarkably
sensitive to chaos which makes rest and breath work and taking
time offline to restore clarity Even more important for you.

(12:51):
As an air rising, you process life mentally before anything
else, so taking time to quiet the mind is what supports the
body. If you are a Cancer, Scorpio or
Pisces rising, so this is the water rising signs, then your
body mirrors emotion in your environment.
Your energy rises and falls literally with the mood going on

(13:15):
around you, the environment thatyou're in, and hydration,
warmth, emotional boundaries andhome life.
A very comfortable home life arevitally important.
It's good to take some movement in water, like swimming and
bathing and floating. You might take these really long
baths that's great for you. You might swim weekly or maybe

(13:36):
you prefer to go sit near a bodyof water to relax.
It's really water that can have the power of recalibrating your
system. When you understand your rising
signs rhythm, you start working with your energy and after being
connected to the body, the rising sign is connected to the

(14:00):
topic of your early environment. So it's the emotional atmosphere
that you grew up in, and it's the role that you learned to
play in order to feel like you belong.
Your rising sign shows the strategy that you developed
instinctively in order to feel safe in the world.
And it's the early conditioning that forms your almost first

(14:24):
response pattern. And it's not who you truly are,
it's who you learned to be so that life would work.
And it then becomes the personality armor that protected
you before you had the ability to use language to explain what
you felt. So if you're an Aries rising,

(14:45):
you may have grown up in an emotionally charged or
protective household where feelings ran deep.
And you learn to be strong and self reliant very early,
balancing independence with the need to care for other people.
If you're a Taurus rising, then your early environment likely
revolves around visibility and pride and attention and love may

(15:08):
have been expressed through gifts or approval or
performance. And you learned to stay steady
and grounded and dependable because for you, that created
security. If you are Gemini rising, then
you may have grown up in a home that valued logic, order,

(15:29):
service, and information. It may have been an environment
where communication was important, but also so was
perfection, and so you learned to adapt and stay informed, and
you learned to solve problems inorder to earn some peace and
quiet or some attention. If you're a Cancer rising, you

(15:51):
may have been raised in an environment where harmony and
image mattered, where diplomacy mattered, and you learned to
read emotions and you learned tostep down in order to smooth
tension. You may have tiptoed on egg
shells at times, but the skills you learned were to balance

(16:11):
everybody else's needs. You kind of became the emotional
moderator in your family. If you're a Leo rising, then
your early home life may have been quite private.
It may have been intense, emotionally layered.
There may have been some death involved.
You learned to bring warmth and expression into places that felt
heavy or secretive and dark. You felt the need or

(16:36):
responsibility for you to shine light on what other people were
keeping hidden. If you're a Virgo rising, you
may have grown up around very strong opinions, very strong
moral frameworks, and you learned to align with belief
systems, and you learned to stayuseful and keep things on track.
That's how you found safety, incompetence, and clarity.

(16:59):
If you're a Libra rising, then your early life may have
emphasized work, control, duty. Maybe you learned to maintain
balance under pressure and you created peace in environments
that felt strict or very achievement.
Focus. If you're a Scorpio rising, you

(17:20):
may have grown up around emotional unpredictability or
detachment. Where you learned to sense
undercurrents and to guard your privacy and to protect your
feelings has helped you develop strength through self-control.
If you are a Sagittarius rising, your childhood may have been
deeply emotional, deeply spiritual, or very boundary

(17:41):
blurred. Maybe you learned to find
meaning and optimism when thingsfelt unclear.
Maybe you became the philosophical or hopeful one of
the family. Or maybe you grew up around
something like substance use or maybe night time or sleep
issues. Capricorn rising.
You may have grown up in a fast-paced, independent

(18:03):
household where you had to act quickly, you had to take
initiative, you kind of had to bring your own self up.
Maybe you parented your parents in some way and you learned to
be composed and resourceful and reliable.
It was you that became the one others could depend on.
If you're an Aquarius rising, then your home may have been

(18:23):
comfortable and consistent, but still some way resistant to
change. So therefore you learned to
value stability while you were actually craving new
experiences. And this came through balancing
loyalty with innovation. And if you are Pisces rising,

(18:44):
your early environment may have been talkative and busy and
mentally active. Like you learned to listen very
deeply and you sensed the tone beneath the words, the things
that were being left unsaid. And maybe you chose to retreat
into imagination when things felt overstimulating.

(19:04):
And with the rising signs, with your rising sign later in life,
part of yourself development is to take that coping pattern that
you learnt and turn it into something that is a conscious
choice. Those very same instincts that
once protected you can actually become your most reliable tools

(19:24):
in adult life once you use them intentionally.
It's your ascendant that shows your intelligent responses to
the environment you had. And they don't need to be
erased, they just need to be upgraded if anything.
And then when you bring awareness to why these responses
exist, then those same habits shift from unconscious defences

(19:50):
into conscious strengths. These are tools that you can
choose, rather than patterns that just happen to be chosen
for you. So Aries rising you go from over
caretaking and being overprotected to self directive
and emotionally independent. Taurus rising you go from being
seen for your value. To seeing yourself, building

(20:13):
yourself worth, and seeing your own value.
Gemini rising, you go from fixing everything for everyone
to trusting and following curiosity and not feeling like
you have to always problem solve.
You can just enjoy information for whatever that information
is. Cancer Rising, you go from
appeasing others and treading onegg shells to this really honest

(20:36):
expression. Leo Rising, You go from
emotional intensity and secrecy and transformation to emotional
openness and trust. Virgo Rising You move from
freedom and belief systems to grounded truth and moral
personal integrity. Libra Rising This is a

(20:57):
transition from over responsibility and growing up
way too fast, and that turns into balanced partnerships and
shared support. Scorpio Rising You move from
unconventional, unpredictable, emotionally detached energies
and you turn that into stable, genuine emotional connection.
Sagittarius Rising The lesson goes from escapism and blurred

(21:20):
boundaries and maybe even substance issues to grounded
clarity and embodied honesty. Capricorn rising this goes from
self-reliance and independence. You turn that in to being a
powerful leader. For Aquarius rising it's going
from materialism and comfort focused energy to authentic

(21:41):
values. And Pisces rising, it's going
from over stimulation and being mentally busy to focus and inner
peace with information. So maybe you're starting to see
how the rising sign is the lens through which you see reality.
It's how you perceive life. It's the filter through which

(22:02):
experience first passes and thenit shapes how reality feels
before your conscious mind even begins to interpret it.
And it does act like a clock face.
If you've still got that chart in front of you, take a look.
It looks like a clock face. There are even 12 slices.
And that clock face is the layout for your life story.

(22:24):
The orientation of that clock from the point of the ascendant
determines the timing of when certain life themes come to the
forefront and how they tend to unfold.
So whatever sign is your rising sign, that's kind of like the
second birthday that you could celebrate, so the season of the

(22:45):
Zodiac sign as your ascendant. And that can actually be
pinpointed down to a day, but it's a time of increasing
energy. It's the sign where you bloom,
whereas the sign before it wouldindicate lesser energy.
And so it's that ascendant that sets up the tempo of your

(23:05):
evolution, of what you experience and when you
experience it. When a planet in transit in real
time to the planets as they are now in the sky, when they form a
major aspect to your ascendant, especially the slower planets
like Jupiter and Saturn and Uranus, Neptune, Pluto, then a

(23:27):
visible life shift can. And I'm going to go as far as
saying will happen. And this is because the
Ascendant represents you, your body, your approach, the way
life unfolds and what you learnt.
So transits to your Ascendant coincide with tangible turning

(23:48):
points in life. The Ascendant organizes the
story arc. It's what determines which
Zodiac signs and therefore whichplanets rules each of your 12
houses. And it's understanding the order
of those planetary rulers that creates your personal sequence
of growth and rhythm. For example, if you are a Cancer

(24:11):
rising, it's highly possible that the sun rules your second
House of income. So your income can change every
year from your birthday onwards. It's an annual sun based cycle
of money. Now, if the moon rules your
second house, so if you are a Gemini rising, then your

(24:33):
finances can fluctuate every month.
It's literally 28 days and then your current money cycle shifts.
There's change fluctuates so frequently.
But over here on the other side of it, if Saturn rules your
second house, so that's you. If you are a Sagittarius rising

(24:54):
or whatever rising you might have for the back a couple of
degrees to have Capricorn on your second house, then your
money works in 3 1/2 year cycles. 3.5 years is what it
takes for your finances to make the biggest shifts.
And I think I'll probably go on to do a whole episode about what
it means when certain planets rule certain houses.

(25:18):
But I think the Ascendant episode is a big part in
starting to understand everything else in your chart.
And my best, maybe weirdest way to describe this is imagining it
like the track list of an album and all of the songs are the
same for everybody. But the order in which these

(25:40):
songs are played in is unique toyou.
It's this order of life that tells you how lessons first
appear, which lessons repeat, and which ones don't play at all
until a later chapter in life. And each of these stages doesn't
follow an exact age, but more soa cyclical rhythm where certain

(26:04):
transits and progressions activate house rulers.
And then that particular area ofyour life naturally steps into
focus. So your rising sign pretty much
just sets the permanent sequencein play, the pattern through
which all future timing operates.
And it's how astrologers see what's ready to mature next in

(26:28):
your life. Or why you may not be finding
love until you complete a lessonin your career.
Or why you may not find securityuntil you complete a lesson in
family. It's cyclical, and it follows
the same order that your rising sign set at the.
So what are the main lessons foreach rising sign?

(26:51):
Because your rising sign is whatyou come into life already
strong with. And then what you're learning to
integrate and balance is shown by the sign directly opposite
your rising sign, which is your descendant.
If you still have that chart in front of you, take a look over
to the right side of that circular wheel.
You can even just pop your finger on the ASC ascendant sign

(27:12):
and draw that straight line across and you will see the
descendant. It's labeled DSC.
The descendant reveals the qualities and experiences that
complete your growth story. So your lessons per rising sign.
And you can discover this not just for your own chart, but

(27:34):
imagine knowing this for your partner.
Imagine knowing this for your family, your loved ones, and
your friends, and maybe even knowing this for business
partners and clients can be helpful because you can better
understand and serve people whenyou know their nuanced
characteristics. So yes, take note of your own,
but also, if you venture into using this information to better

(27:55):
love and understand somebody else, well, then I'd say that's
pretty amazing. So if you or someone you work
with or someone you love is in Aries Rising, then that is Libra
descendant. The lesson is learning diplomacy
and learning how to share decision making as an Aries

(28:17):
rising. It's coming into life ready to
act alone and the growth is in realizing that you don't lose
power through collaboration. You or someone you love as a
Taurus rising means the descendant is in Scorpio.
The lesson is learning emotionaldepth, it's learning trust, and
it's learning to let go of control.
As a Taurus rising, you'll buildstability and comfort, and the

(28:40):
Scorpio descendant pushes you toface vulnerability and to
transform through connection. For Gemini rising, the
descendant is Sagittarius. The lesson is learning to move
from curiosity to conviction. Gemini risings gather endless
data. You will gather endless data.

(29:00):
But the Sagittarius descendant teaches you faith and trust and
vision and to live according to a philosophy rather than just
ideas. Cancer rising gives a Capricorn
descendant the lesson of learning structure and
boundaries and authority. Cancer rising nurtures and
protects and Capricorn descendant shows how to create

(29:23):
order and to lead responsibly. If yours says Leo rising, then
it's an Aquarius descendant. The lesson is learning
collective purpose. The Leo rising part expresses
individuality, but the Aquarius descendant is balancing that
with teamwork and equality. For a Virgo rising this would be

(29:43):
a Pisces descendant. The lesson of learning surrender
and compassion. This is to trust the flow
because Virgo rising perfects through details but the Pisces
descendant teaches that not everything can be controlled.
Libra rising brings you to an Aries descendant where the
lesson is learning self assertion.

(30:04):
The Libra rising that seeks harmony and approval progresses
into this Aries descendant whichbrings growth through decisive
action. This is you learning to stand
alone and also learning that conflict can create clarity.
For Scorpio rising. This is a Taurus descendant
lesson of learning stability andbuilding self worth.

(30:26):
The Scorpio rising thrives on transformation.
The tourist descendant is inviting you into grounding.
It's calming your wisdom and steadying your presence because
that's where true power is. The Sagittarius rising gives a
Gemini descendant lesson of learning attentiveness and
listening more. So a Sagittarius rising is

(30:48):
searching and reaching far and wide.
The Gemini descendant reminds you that details and dialogue
and the smaller levels of awareness matter as much as the
big vision. With a Capricorn rising, you'll
have a Cancer descendant where the lesson is emotional
intimacy. A Capricorn rising builds

(31:10):
success through control. A Cancer descendant is asking
you to soften the edges, and it teaches that true accomplishment
does include emotional safety and care.
With an Aquarius rising over there on the left, there is
going to be a Leo descendant on the right.
The lesson for that is learning warmth and visibility.

(31:33):
The Aquarius rising leads through intellect and
innovation, but the Leo descendant teaches that personal
expression and passion are what breathes life into your ideals.
And the Pisces rising over thereon the left leaves a Virgo
descendant on the right. Your life lesson is learning

(31:55):
discernment and boundaries and practical skill.
Because Pisces rising flows withsensitivity and imagination,
it's the Virgo descendant that helps anchor dreams into systems
and habits that make those dreams real.
So underneath all of that, behind every rising sign and

(32:16):
every life lesson, there is one planet quietly pulling the
strings. It's the planet that rules the
sign of your ascendant. This is called your chart ruler.
And it's that planet which acts as your life compass.
So the planet ruling your risingsign is like your internal GPS.

(32:38):
It tells you more about the story of your life and the
direction and the tone and the focus throughout your life.
And wherever that ascendance ruling planet sits in your chart
by sign and house, and the aspects that it receives happens
to describe the landscape that your story keeps on circling

(33:00):
back to. It's the main, main theme.
It's the main character theme ifyou will, and it very heavily
defines your personal evolution. So for example, if you're a
Cancer rising, Cancer is ruled by the moon.
So if the moon is in the 10th house, you may find that career
and visibility are deeply tied to security and safety and

(33:22):
everything in your life always points to career.
If you are an Aquarius rising which is ruled by Saturn in
traditional astrology and Uranusin modern astrology.
So if Saturn and or Uranus are let's say in the 4th house, then
the specifics to do with family life and home and properties and
land can be the driving theme ofmost of what you cycle through.

(33:46):
So your chart ruler is the planet that rules the sign that
you've just determined is your ascendant sign.
That planet is your narrator. It's the tone of the voice over
happening in your life if you were watching your life
experience as a movie. And the sign that your chart

(34:08):
ruler is in shows how you approach your purpose.
The house that your chart ruler is in shows where your story
keeps returning to for meaning. So if your rising sign itself is
what sets the path, then the chart ruler shows you the route
that you'll take to walk it. And that's where we will go next

(34:29):
week. Next week's episode is going to
be a subscriber only episode because of how intense these
details are, and that episode will look into how your chart
ruler's house placement reveals the stage of life that your soul
chose to master and the kind of experiences that keep calling
you back home to yourself. Absorb this info as much as

(34:51):
possible. Send me any questions as a
comment on this episode and I'llanswer every single one of them.
And until next week, enjoy absorbing this astrology
education and watching how your rising sign themes and lessons
show up in everyday life. Until next week, bye.

I’m Jay Shetty host of On Purpose the worlds #1 Mental Health podcast and I’m so grateful you found us. I started this podcast 5 years ago to invite you into conversations and workshops that are designed to help make you happier, healthier and more healed. I believe that when you (yes you) feel seen, heard and understood you’re able to deal with relationship struggles, work challenges and life’s ups and downs with more ease and grace. I interview experts, celebrities, thought leaders and athletes so that we can grow our mindset, build better habits and uncover a side of them we’ve never seen before. New episodes every Monday and Friday. Your support means the world to me and I don’t take it for granted — click the follow button and leave a review to help us spread the love with On Purpose. I can’t wait for you to listen to your first or 500th episode!
