(00:00):
So this week is a double edged gift.
There are plenty of benefits, along with a few moments that
may be perceived as challenges. Welcome to The Horoscope Vault,
a podcast that explores the world through the lens of
astrology. Here to support you through
life's cycles both up and down, and using those cycle patterns

(00:24):
to help you make more confident decisions.
I'm Charlie, an associate memberof the American Federation of
Astrologers and astrology readerfor radio's The Bob and Sherry
Show. This episode is for the transit
ingress of Mars moving into Capricorn.
Find out the biggest shift for your sign starting this week in
this episode. Monday, 15th of December is kind

(00:55):
of halfway through the month. The bells of 2026 are ringing.
They're getting louder and louder.
You can hear the new year comingin hot.
So Mars moving into Capricorn just ahead of Capricorn season
is the exact phase needed for making plans for sticking to

(01:15):
those plans and then having the plans actually work out.
Monday 15th of December, Mars moves into Capricorn where it is
exalted. Capricorn is an amazing sign for
the planet Mars, and it helps tothink of it this way.
Mars is the God of War and then Capricorn is over here ruled by

(01:40):
Saturn where Saturn is linked tothe Grim Reaper, as morbid as
that sounds. It is linked to the Grim Reaper
because of its association with time, because of its association
with endings and also actually it's association with the Greek

(02:00):
Titan named Cronus. So in Greek myth, Cronus, the
Titan of time and you can hear the word resonance there with
Cronus and chronology and time. Cronus had a sickle that he
wielded. So if you go onto Google and or

(02:21):
your chosen search engine and you look at the Saturn symbol,
if you type in Saturn symbol, it's kind of like a sickle.
And if you think of the Grim Reaper, he also has this sickle
like tool. And I might be going off into
the deep end a little bit into the Astro theology and mythology
here. But for the purpose of my point,

(02:44):
Mars, the God of War in Capricorn, which is the sign of
time, is to do with having more actionable effect over or with
or surrounding the themes of time.

(03:04):
It's the idea of making the mostof time before the end of time
comes. And so if you've ever said, if
only I could have more time, or if you've ever said I wish time
would slow down, or even the contrary, if you have wished
time to speed up because you're going towards something, then
this Mars in Capricorn transit is going to light you up from

(03:28):
your deepest core. Because now you truly do have
more power over time. You have access to discipline,
which is what gives you that authority over time.
Being a magician of time. Mars in Capricorn is efficient.
It's locked in. It's that CEO boss type energy

(03:51):
Mars is so energetic. It's very action based and
sometimes quite lawlessly so. Astrologers believe that Mars is
given extra discipline that it sometimes lacks whenever it does
come into contact with Saturn orwhenever it is in the sign of

(04:11):
Capricorn. This is a time where actions can
be perceived and planned more clearly with true understanding
and awareness and use and let's say even manipulation of time.
And so for this reason, this transit is considered very
fortunate for getting ahead, forbecoming famous and well known

(04:32):
or some, you know, otherwise variation of successful
progress. This transit of Mars through
Capricorn can create ambition where ambition has maybe been a
bit lacking. You can expect intense Dr. and
strong self-discipline that sticks, and even stronger
self-control if you choose to use it.

(04:55):
Because this transit doesn't mean that by default everyone is
going to act right. It's way more nuanced than that.
It's more like if you or others are ready and willing to act
right through discipline, through time management, and you
start acting right quite consciously, then that correct

(05:19):
behaviour has sticking power. It's the way that planting, you
know a certain plant at a certain time guarantees that it
fruits way more than maybe planting it at the wrong time of
year. That's what this Mars in
Capricorn transit is about. You plant the behaviours now,

(05:40):
then they stick, and part of doing that is releasing yourself
from the guilt of any previous or recent lack of discipline.
You leave the station of self pity, you board the train to
self-control and your choices and your patterns will stick if

(06:01):
you start them now. Because this is the season for
that. The last time that Mars was in
Capricorn was around January of 2024.
And so behaviours from then tookroot, whether they were for good
or for bad. And now you get to uproot or
reroot or replant your behaviours even, and something

(06:23):
that was maybe hard to stick to becomes a lot easier.
This is when quitting is not in your vocabulary anymore, unless
it's quitting something that youknow is bad for you.
And this Mars in Capricorn transit has been so long-awaited
for. Any behaviours that you begin
now and over the next month are much more sustainable for the

(06:45):
long haul. This is anything but laid back
and I always imagine the scene in the movie from Limitless
where the main character takes this clear little pill and it's
just suddenly organised and functional.
It's not a stimulant per SE. This guy just goes about

(07:09):
cleaning up his space and he doesn't just clean up the space.
He understands the meaning behind how a clean space
supports better functioning of his mind and therefore his
entire experience. He says something along the
lines of feeling clarity and if your time is adequately managed,

(07:30):
then there is so much space leftover that clarity is
guaranteed. Mars in Capricorn is that little
pill and it's no question the organization and efficiency and
discipline, cleanliness, decluttering, perfect time
management, all of these are obvious steps towards not just

(07:51):
success but feeling fulfillment too.
This transit combination is veryfavourable for anyone or
anything to do with the military, Although it has to be
mentioned that it could come with some forcefulness of the
government too. Because if anyone is acting
unaware of this influence then it's easy to just become power

(08:13):
crazy, unleashing that power outwardly everywhere instead of
utilising it for beneficial reasons.
Mars in Capricorn is good for business success where the
developments can progress quickly with minimum
restrictions. I'd say overall this transit is
good for you if you are in need of more confidence, if you are

(08:37):
looking for more conviction, andif you're trying to gain more
self-control. There is the possibility that
you might even have Natal Capricorn in Mars in your chart,
making this an even more positively executive functioning
boost of a time. So make sure to check online

(08:58):
using a chart generator and see if you have Mars in Capricorn
based on your birthday and when and where you were born.
You could just type into your search engine something like
Mars sign Generator, and then ifyou do that, something like a
Mars return reading might be good for you if you do have Mars
in Capricorn. But the point of this show is to

(09:20):
let you know that this is a super potent transit, and it's
extra potent if you have any kind of planet in your chart in
Mars. And even if you don't, there is
the offer of increasing staying power and intensity and the kind

(09:42):
of discipline that creates 2 years of success.
I think the point I'm trying to make is that this can be really
quite something special. Now we do always have to
consider the unconscious, unaware, applied side of this,
where Mars meaning energy and Capricorn meaning organization
and time. Capricorn also means the

(10:02):
limitations. This could be feeling limited in
energy, which is obvious if you don't correctly or you know,
best time practices plan your actions that you can feel
scattered and all over the place.
If you're applying your energy to the wrong things, the things
that are not right for you, thenit could be feeling like you

(10:25):
don't have enough time, where the opposite of that is, you
know, perfecting time down to the second.
You can feel like you don't haveenough time to do anything and
everything of a day versus some pre planning and some organised
action where you almost time block the things that you're

(10:46):
going to do. Makes you feel like you have an
abundance of time or it makes you feel like you have control
over time, like a superpower. But if you're feeling like you
don't have enough time, then that is for the purpose of
indicating that maybe you need to rearrange your commitment.

(11:06):
And so that's just something to be aware of.
If you're feeling empowered and you're creating structure in
your life, then you are making the most of this.
But if you're feeling lack and pity and sorry for yourself and,
dare I say it, even some kind ofdepression, then you might be
missing out on the positive offerings of this transit, which
is the need to reorganize and rearrange the timing of your

(11:30):
actions so that you do reap the rewards of those efforts.
With that in mind, Mars in Capricorn doesn't work the same
way for everyone. Its strength shows up
differently depending on where Capricorn sits in your chart.
So I'm going to break this down sign by sign so you know exactly
how to use this energy in a way that actually works for you.

(11:51):
Each Zodiac sign is time stampedbelow for your convenience and
the rest of the week's outlook, including the two decision
points that you have to make this week.
Plus the New Moon in Sagittariuswill be out tomorrow, Tuesday,
the 16th of December. For Aries, Mars in Capricorn is

(12:17):
all about your career. It's all about your long term
goals. It's all about how you're
remembered, it's your authority,it's your relationship with your
parents and your bosses, and it's even the type of boss that
you yourself are. Some things for you to do during
this time? Take an inventory of all of the
goals that you have achieved. This isn't just about the

(12:38):
pursuit of those new goals. It's about accepting, it's about
honouring, it's about celebrating the goals that you
have succeeded in already #2 find a mentor.
Find a mentor to help and guide you in a direction that you wish

(12:59):
to go in. Alternatively, this might be the
time for you to become a mentor. If there is something that you
are skilled at, if there's something you have you know the
10,000 hours in, or the unlimited knowledge, or the
thirst for continued education in that you can help someone
else with, then position yourself as a mentor #3 make a

(13:23):
list of the qualities and standards that make you feel
successful. Keep this list nearby.
Have this list somewhere you canreference, maybe in your phone
number 4. Analyse your parents as role
models for your future and your career.
Are there qualities from your parents that you embody that you

(13:45):
want to or don't want to carry with you?
And within that, consider how much like your parents you've
become and whether that is something that you want to keep
hold of #5 socialise with your boss, socialise with your
coworkers, connect with the people that you work with more.

(14:08):
This will help you become more aware about the quality of the
company that you keep professionally.
And number six, consider a friend or maybe not a friend,
maybe a less, you know, social connection where there is
someone who can be almost like this inner board of directors

(14:31):
that helps you make decisions. This isn't asking someone else
to make decisions for you. This is selecting somebody you
trust to soundboard your life decisions offer.
Go back over those six points. See how many of those that you
can incorporate for the next 5 to 6 weeks.
And also make sure to listen to the suggestions of your rising

(14:52):
sign too. And if you don't know what your
rising sign is, use the calculator in the show notes
below to find out. Taurus, Mars in Capricorn is all
about your higher education. It's about your advanced
studies. It's about your philosophy on
life, it's about travel, it's about foreign travel, and it's

(15:12):
also about legal matters too. So a few points for you to
consider over the next few weeks#1 take a refresher course to
update your skills for your work.
This might be re picking up a course that you had already
started, especially if that relates to kind of the January

(15:35):
2024 timeframe. This might be diving into a
course that you keep meaning to dive into but you keep putting
off. This is clear that it's some
kind of education to update yourskills is highly beneficial #2
Pick a book to read over the next month.

(15:55):
There is a book for you to read that will be so helpful in some
way. And the clue is it's not just
non fiction. It might be that reading a
fiction book over the next monthboosts creativity and gets you
through a creative block. It might be that a non fiction
book has been of interest and within that book that you keep

(16:18):
meaning to pick up is some kind of answer that helps you with
your next step. It doesn't have to be multiple
books. It actually should not be more
than one book. There is one book that you can
take the next month to read or even reread.
If you need to pick up back on abook that helped you a lot in
the past. It might be a reread of an

(16:39):
inspirational or a self help author who helped you before and
can help you again. Put that on your list of to do's
#3 write a letter to somebody who has helped bring out the
best in you. It doesn't have to be a long
letter. It doesn't have to be multiple
pages. It could be a paragraph of
gratitude, writing to someone about what they have helped you

(17:02):
with in terms of how they have inspired you to be a better you.
And this doesn't have to be a submissive thing.
This is all about recognising something in someone else that
has brought you self recognitionin yourself #4 Write a gratitude
list every single day. Your choice of time can be doing

(17:27):
this for one week, it could be doing it for the month, it could
be doing it for longer. Pick your time frame one week or
one month or more and write a gratitude list every single day.
Set an alarm on your phone and make sure that you write that
gratitude list daily and you mayfind that some of the things
you're grateful for are the sameand they show up day in day out.

(17:51):
But the further you get through this exercise, the more you will
find you have to be grateful for.
Number 5 is very similar. Pick a spiritual practice and do
it daily for a week. This could be meditation and
there are tons of meditations. There's active meditation,
there's passive meditation, there's guided meditation.

(18:11):
A spiritual practice might be 1 tarot card pull every single
day. Pick a practice that suits you,
that you feel called to and do it daily for a week.
Number six, and this might just be my favorite one of the whole
list. Make your own list of 10 things
that you firmly, firmly believe, and then write one reason next

(18:36):
to each one of why they might not be true.
Catching yourself and making yourself look at two sides of
things is so healthy. Even if you still believe what
you believe at the end of this list, there is nothing more
healthy for the psyche, for intellectual development, for

(19:00):
philosophical perspective, than looking at both sides of
something. So make a list of 10 things that
you believe are true, and then write one reason next to each
one why they might not be true #7 look at the services for an
unfamiliar religion, a religion,a practice that you do not

(19:21):
belong to. Take some curiosity in cultural
differences of beliefs and learnsomething about a spiritual or a
belief practice that you don't know anything about #8 learn or
indulge in foreign cuisine. This could be and it's not just

(19:46):
food, I guess. This could be foreign cuisine as
in eat from different cultures. Eat the foods and the and the
spices and the tastes and the dishes from different cultures.
This could also be reading a book from a different country or
a different culture too. This is about a pilgrimage of
the mind. This is about travel through the

(20:06):
senses, not just physically. So let yourself explore foreign
culture and or cuisine through its dishes or through its
literature. And make sure to listen to the
suggestions of your rising sign too.
If you don't know what your rising sign is, use the
calculator in the show notes below to find out.

(20:30):
For Gemini, Mars in Capricorn isall about your money.
And it says not money that you earn.
This is Money that you don't earn.
This is credit, this is inheritances, this is grants,
this is taxes. This is your partner's money,
and this is also the area of birth, death, transformation,
healing, and sexuality. So a few activities for you

(20:53):
during this Mars and Capricorn transit #1 share a secret that
will heal a wound. Something you've been keeping
secret because it hurts might actually hurt less when shared.
The intimacy and the vulnerability of this transit
for you could be helped by revealing a secret and watching

(21:17):
how that helps you heal #2 organise your insurance papers,
your deeds or any other important documents.
One good way to do this, especially in the day and age
that we are in, is digitalise your documents.
Instead of having a draw of papers, which I know are
accessible and whatnot, but considering scanning and

(21:41):
uploading to a specific file or folder all of your necessary
insurance papers and deeds and all those important documents,
this transit benefits you if youkeep those paperworks in order.
Number three kind of sits in line with #2 recycle the things
that you no longer need. So if you do digitalise your

(22:03):
documents, then you can shred all that paperwork baggage.
Literal baggage. And if you're not doing that
with paperwork, if you choose tokeep your paperwork, which is
actually fine, especially if you've organised it, there might
be some other things that you need to recycle that you no
longer need. Be cut throat with deciding when

(22:24):
was the last time you used something and whether you need
to keep it or not #4 Learn the art of intimacy, which might be
as simple as reading the Kama Sutra, which might be as simple
as having an intimate conversation with someone about
your preferences or their preferences.
Open up to intimacy. Explore your body #5 Resurrect a

(22:49):
plant that is wilting. If you have a plant that isn't
doing very well, the death, rebirth, transformation side of
this transit for you is a perfect time to resurrect that
plant. A plant longs to live, and so by
tending to that plant and resurrecting it, you are leaning

(23:12):
into the rebirth transformation energy.
If you don't have a plant that is wilting, if all of your
plants are perfect, then maybe adding a new plant to your plant
collection, something that you can continue to keep alive.
And the bonus is if you can memorialize someone who you have

(23:33):
lost in your life through this continued care, using this
energy to do that is wholesome. Number six, let go of a
lingering resentment and you already know what one that is.
You already know what you're holding onto.
That is like poison the longer you hold onto it.

(23:55):
Use this Mars in Capricorn transit to let something go and
#7 can really link to number six.
Have some kind of release ceremony for something that you
mourn. Allow yourself to say goodbye to
something that has to go, whether it's that lingering
resentment, whether it is some other kind of loss.

(24:16):
Over the next 5 weeks, have a specifically dedicated ceremony
to let that thing go. And to get more from this, make
sure you listen to the suggestions for your rising sign
too. And if you don't know what your
rising sign is, use a calculatorin the show notes below to find
out. For Cancer, Mars in Capricorn is

(24:38):
all about your partnerships. It's your personal partnerships,
your business partnerships, yourclose, your committed
relationship. It's the types of people you
attract. It's the concept of sharing and
a few things for you to do during this transit that help
you make the most of this boss level energy.

(24:58):
Number one, keep your promises. This sounds really interesting,
but those promises can be consequences too.
If you have laid out consequences of behaviours.
For example, if you have told someone in business or in your
personal life that if this behaviour continues, you will

(25:18):
cease that business partnership, you will end that connection,
then it is on you to keep that promise.
On the flip side, it is also on you to keep the promises that
you make to others. Leading by example and taking
control of time means that the timed promises that you set must

(25:38):
be kept #2 clean the mirrors in your house or upgrade the
mirrors in your house. Get a really good mirror if the
mirrors that you have are no good, this is considered an
exercise that is like a looking glass for the inner and outer
gazing. Clean mirrors offer clean

(26:01):
reflections. So #2 is to go around and clean
and upgrade all of the mirrors in your space #3 Identify the
solid relationships in your lifeand list 2 reasons why they do
or why they don't work. The solid relationships in your
life are the ones that are thereday in day out.

(26:24):
Some of them will work and some of them will not.
Take a list of the five people closest to you and make 2
reasons of why they do work or why they don't work, or a
combination of both. This brings you clarity and it
helps you not waste time with the wrong people Moving forward
#4 List and write your conditions in love.

(26:47):
I know there are a lot of thingsout there that say love should
be unconditional, that love is for better or for worse.
This is something that is unhealthily put forward because
for worst, unconditional love should never create damage.
For you to find the right romantic situation that serves

(27:10):
you the best, that serves your love, that respects you and
respects others, requires conditions.
What you will and will not accept in a love relationship is
important. So use the next few weeks to
decide what conditions there arethat you have in love

(27:31):
relationships. Number six, choose your battles.
When it comes to connection withother people, when it comes to
partnerships, there are going tobe challenges.
Some challenges are great because they challenge you to be
better. Some are difficult because they
SAP you of your energy. Your body will tell you which

(27:51):
one's which. So when engaging in things that
seem like conflict but are actually just challenges with
others, listen to what your bodysays this is doing for you.
Is it making you better or is itmaking you worse?
And then choose your battles accordingly #7 set the standards
for yourself as a person, the kind of partner that you want to

(28:13):
be for others. And then seek those standards in
your partners. What do you bring to the table?
What do you offer? And what about those skills and
traits in yourself would you like to see in others?
Take a list. As much as this is about
partnerships, this is about understanding you yourself in a

(28:36):
partnership too. So make a list of what you bring
to a relationship. Maybe you bring loyalty, maybe
you bring domestic support. Maybe you bring an ear to listen
to. Maybe you are a motivating kind
of partner. There are so many different
skills. There are so many different

(28:57):
traits. Take a list of what you think
you offer as a role model and then seek those in all of your
future business and personal partners.
And make sure that you listen tothe suggestions of your rising
sign too. This can really help you with
the exercises over the next few weeks.
And if you don't know what your rising sign is, use the

(29:17):
calculator in the show notes below to find out.
For the sign of Leo, Mars in Capricorn is all about your work
and its meaning. It's about your work habits.
It's about the types of jobs youdo.
It's about your Co workers. It's about your employees.
If you're the boss. It's about your health, your
health habits, and your routines.

(29:39):
So a few exercises for you to doover the next few weeks.
Number one, look at your work tasks, those tasks that you
absolutely must do for your job,and then consider how those
tasks can be done more effectively and efficiently.
Mars in Capricorn is an efficiency transit.

(30:01):
You can absolutely trim the fat and save some time at work by
dialing in on those everyday things that are done day in day
out and looking at ways to improve their efficiency #2 read
David Allen's book called Getting Things Done.

(30:22):
This is the season of you absolutely streamlining your
day-to-day existence. Reading Getting Things Done can
help you in getting things done.Or there are a ton of free
articles by the same author. Or even look for your own
preferred authors on efficient day-to-day routines #3 find

(30:45):
quality time with your Co workers.
In a non work environment. This might be going for lunch
with some of your Co workers. This is a phone call after hours
when nobody talks shop. Just find a way to get that
quality time off site with the people that you work with daily.

(31:08):
Number four, introduce some timeeffective ways of getting
regular exercise. This might not be going to the
gym every single day because maybe that's not within your
time restraints. Unless of course you utilize
that Mars in Capricorn time management, time blocking energy
and you, you know, write it in as it's an appointment even for

(31:31):
you to get exercise at the gym every day.
But if that is not possible, youcan still do this at home. 15
minutes, 20 minutes per day of body weighted exercise.
This transit is absolutely abouthoning your body.
So devise some time effective ways of getting some movement in
daily #5 The next six weeks is agreat time for you to have your

(31:55):
annual physical. This is the time for you to get
some blood work done and then listen to what your body is
saying through the results. You can make changes to your
diet and your supplement and your movement routines.
Once you have some solid data togo from, you can look at your
current medications. You can research vitamins and
supplements and herbs and any ofthe natural treatments that you

(32:17):
need. Get a physical done or book some
blood work. I will actually link a blood
work site in the show notes below where you can get
discounted cost effective blood work done.
This is the time to give your body the attention that it
needs. Number six, evaluate your diet.

(32:39):
Quite simply, make your diet more nutrient dense.
Look at what you may be missing.Use an organizational app.
One that I like to use is calledChronometer.
You can put everything in. You can see if you're hitting
your protein goals, your carbohydrate goals, your water
and fluid goals. Even so, number six, evaluate
the things that you are consuming and make sure that it

(33:02):
is nutritious and #7 stop gritting your teeth.
Check in with yourself once or twice a day or as many times as
you can imagine. And stop clenching your jaw.
Stop clenching and grinding yourteeth.
This is a habit that you can wean off over the next few

(33:23):
weeks. And make sure to listen to the
other suggestions of your risingsign too.
And if you don't know what your rising sign is, use a calculator
in the show notes below to find out.
For the sign of Virgo, Mars moving through Capricorn is all
about your romantic life, your creativity, yourself expression.

(33:44):
It's your leisure activities, it's the risks that you take.
So a few things for you to consider over the next few weeks
#1 have some fun, be a clown. This is all about laughs and
humour so watch some comedy or say that funny thing that's in

(34:06):
your mind. Joke around and have some fun
and drop in to a more childlike state #2 Be aware of conflict
and fighting. Life is always full of enough
opportunities to fight. There is conflict pretty much
all the time, everywhere. The next 5 or so weeks, choose

(34:28):
to be a lover and not a fighter and make that conscious decision
to step away from and not engagein any conflict #3 praise
somebody else who you know needsor deserves the praise.
This is time to applaud somebodyelse who deserves some

(34:50):
recognition. Because starting that brings it
back to yourself. And it's not just with the
intention of self-serving so that you could get recognition
to open your eyes to the things around you that are truly worth
praising #4 tell somebody that you love them.
You may think this is something that you do all the time.

(35:10):
Maybe it's something you do all the time.
Maybe you do it all the time. So much so that it is mindless
autopilot over the next few weeks, maybe once a week.
Take the conscious effort time to tell someone specifically
that you love them and also tellthem why #5 send yourself or buy

(35:32):
yourself a bunch of flowers. Some self love and self praise
and self reward is just as important.
And Capricorn is a very agricultural sign.
So sending yourself the most beautiful bunch of flowers, or
if you're like me, not a flower person and you prefer plants,

(35:52):
some kind of plant that just shows you and gives yourself
some love. And number six, give somebody or
something a chance that you didn't want to give.
Now, don't confuse this for allowing abuse or anything
negative to continue. That's not it.

(36:14):
That's not what this is. But maybe somebody else is going
through the process of change. Maybe somebody else is trying.
Maybe there's someone in your life that does deserve another
chance. And so this is the season for
you to give them that chance. And make sure to listen to the

(36:34):
suggestions of your rising sign as well as this your son sign.
And if you don't know what your rising sign is, use a calculator
in the show notes below to find out.
For the sign of Libra, Mars and Capricorn is all about your
home. It's your roots, your family
ties, your home life. It's your family influence, even

(36:58):
it's the nurturing parent that was, you know, feeding you,
caring a few, tucking you into bed.
It's also to do with your senioryears too.
So a few activities for you to do during this transit.
Number one, check out your family tree, learn about the
hereditary things. And I mean that I know that

(37:19):
sounded like health. It could be find out like the
hereditary health things, but it's more about finding out your
ancestors, finding out the past, you know, direction of your
lineage. Explore those family tree
websites. Go for a free trial on one of
those family tree websites and just look how far back you can

(37:40):
actually go #2 create a sacred space that isn't dependent on
your home. That means it's like a sacred
space that can travel with you. This is behaviours.
This is non negotiable. This is like wake up times that
never change and this is morningroutines that never change.
Irrespective of where you are, making sure you have that sacred

(38:03):
space that can travel with you wherever you go will always make
you feel at home #3 make peace with your past.
Don't live in the past, maybe don't even yearn for the past.
Understand that the things that happened in the past make you
who you are today and may be part of your future or may not

(38:24):
be part of your future. Making peace with what has
happened frees you to sit in your life now as it is #4 Look
at food as nourishment. When you feed yourself, are you
feeding yourself consciously with what you need?
Looking at food in terms of the simplest view, protein,

(38:48):
carbohydrates, fibre, liquids, moderate fat.
Feed yourself and your body whatyou need the most.
And bonus, this actually goes for consuming information to
whatever you put in is directly affecting your experience.
Make sure you are nourishing both your body and your brain as

(39:11):
best possible #5 look at your role as a caregiver not just to
others but to yourself. Are you giving the same amount
of care to yourself as you give to others?
If not, maybe that needs rebalancing over the next few
weeks with Mars moving through capital.
And number six, identify your tribe.

(39:32):
And this doesn't have to be blood relatives.
In contrast and complement to #1where you're looking at the
history of your family, where you're looking at your family
tree, who you connect to now is your chosen family.
So number six is to identify your tribe, those people that
you feel utterly, utterly at peace with and around and show

(39:55):
gratitude for those connections. And to get more from this
transit, make sure you listen tothe suggestions for your rising
sign too. If you don't know what your
rising sign is, use the calculator in the show notes
below to find out. For the sign of Scorpio, Mars in
Capricorn is all about your communication.
It's about your thinking, it's about what you learn and how you

(40:17):
learn. It's about your siblings, it's
about your relatives in terms ofcousins, it's about your
neighbors, and it's about your daily commutes over short
distances. So a few exercises for you over
the next few weeks. Number one, get in touch with
someone that you have lost trackof and this can include

(40:40):
yourself. If you have become distant with
yourself, If you have become notyourself, what we call the not
self, then get back in touch with who you are.
But this can also reach out to people that you used to be close
to or people that you used to hang out with.
Maybe there is someone that you disconnected with over time and
reconnecting with that person can be so beneficial.

(41:03):
Over the next few weeks #2 thinkabout the things that you are
leaving unsaid. There might be something that
you are not communicating. There might be something that
you are purposefully not saying. This isn't necessarily the need
to start saying it, but more so analyse and identify why you're

(41:25):
not saying it and look deeper into the things that you are
holding back #3 phone somebody, have a long phone call with
somebody just to simply catch up.
This is catching up on the news of their life.
This is them catching up on the news of your life.

(41:46):
This is a weekly conversation, so once a week for the next 5
weeks with somebody to just havea rambling chit chat #4 Next
time you go to get your daily coffee, where possible, go to a
bookstore rather than, you know,a generic chain coffee store.

(42:07):
While you're waiting for your order to be made, while you're
waiting for your coffee to be brewed, browse.
Take a look at books, immerse yourself in books.
And if you are not a coffee lover, if coffee is not on your
agenda any day at all, then takeyourself to a bookstore just to
look. 5 minutes wandering around, 5 minutes browsing and

(42:29):
seeing what jumps off the shelf and into your hands could be
interesting #5 Subscribe to a blog or a newsletter on a topic
that you are super interested in.
There's a topic that you probably want to know more
about. Finding and subscribing to a
blog or a newsletter on that is the perfect use of Mars in

(42:51):
Capricorn number six. Choose a word or a quote of the
day every single day. This is for the next 4 to 5
weeks. So though this might be a big
ask, this might be a lot to do. But actually, once you've done
it for one to two days, it can be kind of fun.
So choose a word or a quote of the day, take a screenshot,

(43:14):
reference it when you can, maybeput it on your phone screensaver
or something, and reference a word or quote of the day as much
as possible over the next few weeks.
And #7 buy a blank notebook and write random stuff in it.
Not consciously random, not trying to be random.
There's no effort in randomness, but just have a little notebook

(43:36):
or have a note on your phone where if there is just a thought
that pops into your head, you log that thought there.
It'll be really interesting to see at the end of this four to
five weeks all of the thoughts that are there in this notebook
at the end. And there are so many more tasks

(43:56):
that you can do during this transit based on your Natal
chart. Make sure to listen to the
suggestions of your rising sign too.
And if you don't know what your rising sign is, use the
calculator in the show notes below to find out.
For Sagittarius, Mars and Capricorn is all about your
money. And it's the money that you
earn. It's the way that you earn

(44:17):
money. It's money management.
It's your attitude towards money.
It's things that you value that are not money.
So this could be to do with a valuable long term project that
will create more income in the future and a few tasks or

(44:37):
activities for you to do during this Mars and Capricorn transit
to get the most out of it #1 Keep track of everything that
you spend for one month. It doesn't matter what it is.
This is not, you know, trying tocap what you spend.
It's just awareness and observation.
Keep a list of what you spend. Maybe use a tracking app and

(45:01):
don't look at it or don't reassess it until the Mars in
Capricorn transit is over in around 5 weeks #2 List the
smaller luxuries of life that make you feel rich that don't
have a high price tag. Maybe a really healthy, well

(45:23):
varied breakfast on your plate every morning makes you feel
rich. Maybe the ability to wake up and
have a slow morning makes you feel rich.
Maybe you feel rich every time you get to go for a walk every
day. Make a list of very small
luxuries. And maybe even things like
luxuries can be literal things. Maybe you have a really nice

(45:46):
pen. Maybe you have a really nice
phone. Maybe there's a favorite pair of
shoes. Make a list of these things that
make you feel grand #3 set up a small monthly automatic transfer
from your checkings to your savings account.
It could be a dollar $2.00, three dollars, five dollars $10.

(46:08):
Just a small automatic transfer. The visual and the actual
physical process of setting up that transfer starts as you mean
to go on, and after this month ish transit is done.
After five weeks, when that transfer is still set up, it's

(46:29):
still active #4 Budget your timeto include things that have a
higher value than money. Maybe spending time with loved
ones, maybe movie time with family once a week.
There's something that you valuemore than money and the way to

(46:49):
discover what that is, the way to understand what that is, is
what is there something that youcan do that you absolutely love?
What is that thing? And it doesn't really cost a
dime. Make sure to budget your time to
include something that you valuemore than money at least once a
week #5 do some self developmentwork.

(47:15):
This is non negotiable under Mars in Capricorn.
Growing yourself worth can actually be more important than
growing your net worth. And actually the two can be
related. The more you have a wholesome,
humble and healthy outlook of yourself worth, the more you can

(47:38):
grow your net worth. One comes before the other.
Self worth before net worth. You cannot get self worth from
net worth. To know that you are valuable
and to know how you are valuableis so important in the process
of your entire life is somethingthat you can really work on and

(48:01):
dial in over the next 5 weeks during Mars in Capricorn.
And how you value yourself is a huge part of your net values in
life. Self development work means
looking at where you can improvesmall things to feel better

(48:22):
about yourself. This does mean identifying the
areas where you don't feel good about yourself.
That can be such a tricky challenge.
And it's actually the bad habitsin life that erode yourself
worth. These bad habits can create a
cycle of guilt and shame and disappointment, and those cycles

(48:45):
make you feel helpless and inadequate and makes you out of
alignment with your values. And bad habits often stem from
attempts to cope with stress. Or bad habits are attempts to
cope with needs that are unmet and that just continues to
reinforce negative self belief instead of building

(49:05):
self-confidence. And these are behaviours like
procrastination, self criticism or people pleasing negative self
talk, helplessness in the face of challenge, emotional numbing
where you have vices like overeating or you doomscroll or

(49:26):
you use a substance because thisprovides temporary relief from
difficult emotions, but actuallythey prevent you from developing
the healthier coping skills and it leaves you reliant on a
habit. Self worth development involves
building belief in your value, separating yourself from
achievements, being compassionate to yourself like

(49:49):
treating yourself the best way you need to be treated.
Challenge your negative thoughts, set boundaries and
engage in only meaningful activities that align with your
values. This is how you foster
confidence and growth and resilience.
And that might just be the most important activity for you

(50:11):
during this transit, but you canget more.
You can get more of these activities based on your Natal
chart. And to do so, make sure you
listen to the suggestions of your rising sign.
The rising sign is so important. If you don't know what your
rising sign is, use the calculator in the show notes
below to find out and then head over to that sign for Capricorn.

(50:35):
Mars in Capricorn is all about you and it's all about your
approach to situations. It's all about your appearance,
your image, yourself presentation.
It's about you as a physical vehicle.
This is your personal sunrise ifyou wish, and it's the way that
you meet the world. And so some activities for you

(50:57):
to do over this Mars in Capricorn transit #1 adapt your
appearance to accurately reflectwho you are, Play around with
your looks, work on yourself in terms of how do you want to take

(51:17):
care of your skin, how do you want to look?
How do you want to dress? It is fine and not at all vain
for you to lead with your looks during this time.
So go ahead, spruce yourself up in any which way you want to, as
long as it is an accurate representation of you #2 write

(51:41):
down 5 statements that begin with I am.
Bonus points if these things areto do with efficiency and
functionality, if they're to do with traits and behaviours that
you are proud of within yourself.
But they can be, you know, seemingly shallow.
As in I am good looking or I am funny.

(52:06):
Picking out five statements, five I am statements that you
relate to allows you to build healthy confidence during this
Mars and Capricorn transit #3 doa fun task.
Go through your social media, gothrough your phone pictures and
pick one picture of yourself from the last, let's say 8 years

(52:35):
because Mars worked in two year increments.
Take 8 pictures, one for every year past and reflect over how
you and your style has changed. Look at these eight years, look
at this progression of you over 8 years, and just take the time

(52:58):
to sit and witness the differences from you of the past
to you of the now #4 as Mars approaches your son at some
point during this transit, be the most authentic
representation of your son. You might be in charge
somewhere. You might be the most

(53:20):
disciplined person you know. You might be the boss.
You might be wilful. You might be somehow leading the
way. Be an authentic representation
of leadership over the next 5 weeks and allow yourself to do
this without guilt, without minimizing you, without trying

(53:42):
to submit to anyone. Not that that should be
possible. This is a period of you taking
charge #5 Do a full body scan for health related issues.
Check in with yourself, see how you feel about your body.
Are there any niggles and aches and pains that may need tending

(54:04):
to? Look at your muscles, does
something need turning up? Assess your body in private and
get really really real with whatyou think of your physicality.
Number six, walk into every roomwith confidence.
Make sure you keep direct eye contact when interacting with
others. Keep your head up, no looking at

(54:25):
the ground in front of you. Train yourself over this next 5
weeks to hold an air of confidence wherever you are and
this will carry you through yourupcoming successes for the
following two years that this Mars and Capricorn transit is
activating. Walk and arrive and enter

(54:46):
everywhere you go with ultimate confidence.
And little tip here if you need to reference those five I am
statements before you walk into any room or you go anywhere to
help you maintain that air of strength.
And make sure to listen to the suggestions, the activity
suggestions of your rising sign too.

(55:08):
If you don't know what your rising sign is, use the
calculator in the show notes below to find out.
And bonus suggestion, listen to the activities of your moon
sign. Find whatever your moon sign is,
scroll to that time stamp on theepisode and check those out too.

(55:37):
For the sign of Aquarius, Mars in Capricorn is all about the
things that are repressed. It's the things that are hidden.
It's any self defeating behaviour.
It's selfless service, it's spiritual request, it's retreat,
it may even be chronic illnessesand care based facilities.

(56:01):
So some of the activities for you to do over the next 5 weeks.
Put the phone on do not disturb for a weekend.
Be with yourself for that weekend.
Obviously answer the most important things.
If there's something emergency based or responsibility based,
sure, but this is showing responsibility to yourself and

(56:22):
it gives you time to contemplateyour life.
Number two, introduce meditationto your week.
Whether it's daily or once a week, do it however you are most
comfortable. There are many types of
meditation. There is guided meditation,
listening to someone on YouTube, listening to an audio where
somebody guides you through the meditation process.

(56:43):
There is the silent meditation, maybe just with a piece of music
in the background. There is active meditation where
you go for a walk. It's really important that if
you do active meditation and youare walking with that act of
meditation, you go somewhere where there are not like roads
and the need to make safety based direction changes.

(57:04):
You know you don't want to be crossing roads while you're
active meditating because the point is to kind of get out of
your mind and just let your bodywalk on autopilot #3 Keep note
of your dreams over the next 5 weeks.
Journal your nightly dreams, anycolours, any symbols, any
animals, any messages that come from your dreams and go ahead

(57:26):
and look them up. See what's trying to come
through from your subconscious and your unconscious through
your nightly dreams #4 list fiveways that you know you shoot
yourself in the foot. And then figure out why there
are behaviours that you maybe dothat are against your best
interests if you list them down.If you interrupt and it causes

(57:53):
stress and communication, then figure out why you interrupt.
If you combat anything anyone says, list that down and figure
out why. And it's not just those kind of
behaviours. Maybe when under stress you
retreat into habits that are notthe best.
Maybe you fall into relationshippatterns that are always high

(58:17):
conflict. Maybe there are some ways that
you always harm your own cause by not sticking to things that
you know will do you better. Learn what those things are,
identify them in yourself very humbly, and figure out why you
do them. And better yet, figure out what
you can replace them with. And then make it a point to stop

(58:38):
at least one of those behaviours#5 improve your sleep hygiene,
Think about blue lights at nightor think about, you know, the
phone. Think about electronics in your
bedroom. Think about what it is and what
it means and what it feels like to have fantastic sleep.
And organise the behaviours and the tasks and the necessary

(59:01):
steps to achieve that. Maybe you're someone that needs
8 hours. Set a distinct bedtime and a
wake up time and then stick to them for the next few weeks #6
pick one random act of kindness. You can do 1A week, or you can
do one across this whole 5 week period.

(59:22):
Offer one random act of kindnesssomewhere, somehow and tap in to
that compassionate part of yourself and you can get so much
more out of doing all of the activities that are related to
your Natal chart. So make sure that you listen to
the suggestions of your rising sign too.

(59:42):
If you don't know what your rising sign is, use the
calculator in the show notes below to find out these for the
sign of Pisces Mars in Capricornis about your friendships, your
relationships to your peer groups.
It's your teenage years. It's.
You're the groups like you are members of it's social

(01:00:03):
consciousness, it's activism andit's aspirations.
So a few activities for you to do during this Mars in Capricorn
transit #1 look up old college or high school pals on social
media, See what they're up to. This is not for a comparative
reason, this is to just look at what is happening in your peer

(01:00:25):
group. With astrology and the more
generational planets. There are age group rains,
generational ranges that are often going through similar
things at similar times and thiskind of resonance can help you
keep going with what you are doing.
So look up people from your school and see what they are up

(01:00:48):
to #2 do something silly. Go outside next time it rains
and splash in a puddle. Do something that is maybe
slightly adolescent. This is the first and maybe last
time that you'll hear me say stay up an hour later than you
should. Doing something kind of

(01:01:09):
adolescent and silly that you would have done in your teen
years and then letting yourself enjoy that actually works as a
point of growth. It reminds you of all the stages
of life that you have moved through and connects you with
your inner teen #3. Give somebody a gift.

(01:01:32):
But this is not a gift that you can purchase.
This is a gift from a skill thatyou have or a gift of your
presence. So maybe somebody just wants to
spend time with you and you knowthis.
So gift them your presence. Maybe there is something that
you can do. Maybe you can paint, maybe you
can bake. There is some kind of skill that
you have that you can share withsomebody you love #4 make amends

(01:01:57):
to an estranged friend or someone that you think or know
that you may have hurt in the past.
And you're doing this without any expectations.
This can be an apology, this canbe just reaching out somehow.
There's somebody that you know that you may have hurt and this

(01:02:18):
is a great time to make amends with them #5 Analyse any
codependent behaviours in your life and see if you are enabling
someone or you you are being maybe enabled yourself.
Is there behaviours of someone else that you are taking on that
you wouldn't choose to? Or are you enabling somebody

(01:02:41):
else in behaviours that aren't really their best self?
Number six, join a group forum or something like that where you
can meet new people that share interests of yours.
It's not quite the day of AOL chat rooms.
I'm not even sure what group forums look like online.
Maybe start with something as simple as Facebook and look for

(01:03:04):
groups with shared interests andjoin and then spend the next 5
weeks just chatting with people who are similar of mind and you
can get more activities based onyour NATO chart to do over this
next 5 weeks. Mars in Capricorn transit.
To do that, make sure you listento the suggestions of your

(01:03:24):
rising sign. If you don't know what your
rising sign is, use the calculator in the show notes
below to find out.
