Hello and welcome to The Horoscope Vault, a podcast that
explores the world through the lens of astrology with a view to
supporting you through life's ups and downs and helping you
make more confident decisions through each chapter.
I'm Charlie, an associate memberof the American Federation of
(00:22):
Astrologers and Astrology readerfor radio's Hall of Fame, The
Bob and Sherry Show. This episode is your warm up to
the weekend, looking at the moonlunar aspects for Friday,
Saturday and Sunday, where the weekend is a little bit of
domestic attention with a much more stimulating Sunday at the
(00:47):
end. Listen on to find out what the
weekend holds for you. Starting with Friday 26th of
September, the Moon in Sagittarius sextiles Pluto
retrograde in Aquarius. A sextile just allows each
(01:10):
planet's quality to cooperate with one another without any
force. So it's not like a clash, it's
not like a square, and it's not like the tension of push and
pull like an opposition aspect. A sextile is 2 planets forming a
60° angle relationship, so they are often 2 signs away from one
(01:35):
another, with the sextile reallybeing a chance to work with both
energies happily and evenly in harmony.
Both symbolic meanings work together and it's a cycle where
elements of the environment or the time period are very
cooperative so that things can occur or manifest much easier.
(01:59):
The Moon's degree early in Sagittarius on Friday is about
momentum, and this momentum is given depth by Pluto's degree
theme of rigidity. So your emotions and your
impulses might be intensified, and if ever there were really an
(02:19):
aspect that related to extreme euphoria, this could very well
be it. With Pluto involved, everything
is extreme, but definitely transformation is the goal.
It's Pluto's rigidity that softens through the moon's
momentum. So it creates a window where the
emotional drive of the moon and the transformative power of
(02:42):
Pluto support each other. So Friday you get emotional
clarity that isn't scattered. You get self restraint that
isn't cold or difficult to administer and you can pretty
much succeed in most anything you do as long as you feel very
(03:02):
very excited and pumped and euphoric about it or while doing
it. So at its worst, because a sex
style, while it is inherently positive, it can be negative
too. It can be lazily missed, or it
(03:23):
can be glossed over. If this aspect works in the
detriment, this would look like impatience and suppression.
It's like emotional intensity hitting a brick wall.
And instead of feeling euphoria,it's like this desperate anxiety
to speed things through, to get things done, to be free of the
(03:46):
pressure. So how could this moon's
momentum and Pluto rigidity showup in real life on Friday?
You might find some kind of opportunity to dig beneath
surface feelings and direct themwith purpose.
Something like overcoming an emotional lull or moving along
(04:07):
some stagnant emotional energy that you've not been able to do
much with. These more spiritual,
metaphysical or emotional experiences, it might be a
chance to transform emotional restlessness creates a
meaningful growth by applying insight.
So on the basis of insight, let's look at the more physical
(04:30):
possibilities and this could be a breakthrough piece of
information that's almost like asecret revealed.
That's very Pluto in Aquarius. It's more likely to be something
that you will hear rather than arevelation that you read or you
see. So you could be taken by
surprise at times on Friday by some kind of admission with
(04:55):
someone or multiple people even blurting out a blunt truth.
Or maybe you overhear a comment that reveals something that's
really been going on in a group of your workplace or a friend
circle. This is a great aspect to also
(05:15):
drop or change a habit that hasn't been working for you.
So overspending on subscriptions, or a diet choice,
or how you waste time in your day, or if you've just simply
been stuck in a mood slump, thisis the aspect that can break it
open. You confront something you
(05:36):
hadn't wanted to acknowledge, and then once you do, you are so
happy that you did. Next, on Saturday, the Moon in
Sagittarius sextiles the sun in Libra.
This moon progresses through thedegrees of Sagittarius, and as
it does, it changes degree meanings.
So on Saturday, the moon in Sagittarius then becomes the
(05:57):
theme of annihilation. It's the ability to wipe away
resistance and move forward decisively.
And at its best, it's this kind of clean break from something
that's blocking progress, or it's redirecting energy
productively. And then at its worst, it's
(06:18):
repeating cycles of trying too hard and hitting burnout.
Or maybe you are trying to burn something down.
Specifically, the Sun in Libra, with its theme of conservatism,
is a tendency to stick with an established pattern which in its
best looks like some gradual course corrections rather than
(06:43):
abrupt changes. But at its worst, it's actually
refusing to adapt all together. It's clinging to outdated
methods. And so, as you know by now, a
sextile gives supportive opportunity.
It's not forced change. And that moon's annihilation
energy essentially clears space on Saturday in a way that helps
(07:08):
the sun's conservatism update without being destabilized.
So what does all that symbolism mean?
In a more literal sense, it means this is the day for
dropping a stubborn routine. No, late nights.
Saturday night should not be a late night.
There might be other times in the future that that is OK.
(07:31):
It is not this Saturday. It is not good for poor diet
choices. It's actually about replacing
those routines or habits. Staying up too late, doom
scrolling too much, eating the wrong thing, replacing those
with something more balanced. Saturday is also the day for
(07:54):
settling a debate, especially a debate about a project.
But any debate works here, and it's about finally choosing one
path instead of being scattered and committing to that one path.
Saturday is great for resolving conflict with someone by cutting
straight to the issue. A clear conversation comes along
(08:15):
and it wipes away tension. So you stop dancing around a
matter and you just talk about it, which goes ahead and
restores harmony. It's great for eliminating one
expense or One Financial drain that's been holding you back.
It's good for consolidating accounts and investments.
(08:38):
It's great for clearing out a backlog of chores and all of the
things from your to do lists andjust doing it in one decisive
sweep. And if you've never heard the
Horoscope Vault episode on Planetary Days, I'm going to go
ahead and link that in the show notes below.
Just click below this episode a little drop down arrow to read
(09:00):
the description and there shouldbe a link there.
But this fits in so well with the Planetary Days episode
because Saturday is a Saturn ruled day and the planet Saturn
likes discipline. So for me this is chores and
changing bedding. There's something oddly
(09:21):
satisfying about changing bedsheets on a Saturday and in
some calendars. I guess it might be because
Saturday is in some calendars the last day of the week before
Sunday begins, so that kind of makes sense to just tidy
everything and get all the chores and tasks up to date for
the new week. I'm going to link that Planetary
(09:41):
Days episode below so you can listen for the whole week and
learn more about how Monday is best for self-care, how Tuesdays
are best for your most top notchgym workout, and why Saturday is
when it feels so so good to change your bedsheets.
But this moon sun sex style seems to support a very extra,
(10:03):
extra, extra productive Saturday.
And it might sound mundane, it might even sound basic, but the
alignment of when to do things is vital.
They say timing is everything. And you know, looking at through
music, for example, timing is how music becomes magical when a
(10:26):
minor chord is played on its own, it's fine.
It's nice, but when it's played with the right harmony and the
right tempo, it creates something so beautiful.
And so that's what Saturday offers is harmonization.
Your actions and intentions lineup, turning the most ordinary
(10:48):
efforts into something that works far better than expected.
And by tending to these domesticthings on Saturday, it makes the
rest of the month very weirdly special.
The final aspect of the weekend,Sunday's Moon in Sagittarius
sextile Mercury in Libra and thewhole weekend is the Moon in
(11:10):
Sagittarius, which feels a little bit off kilter because
the Moon and its domestic energyin the realms of Sagittarius.
It's strange because Sagittarius's desire is to go
off an adventure. The Moon is that homey domestic
feel. This would be the development of
(11:34):
tending to your things, to do all those domestic things and
making it feel good by blasting your favorite 80s, nineties, or
whichever era of hip hop music you see.
Those memes and those reels of people cleaning or driving to
the grocery store, jamming out to A Tribe Called Quest or
(12:00):
jamming out to Cardi B or Three 6 Mafia.
Some real almost gangster thug music and feeling like your most
gangster self. And so Sunday is for music that
makes you feel bad ass. It's the music that makes you
feel like the black sheep, but in the most satisfying of ways,
(12:22):
because who wants to be like everyone else anyway?
Channel your inner OG on Sunday domestically.
It's a smooth and somewhat mildly busy day, and you might
even need to carve out an hour and a half, very weirdly
specific 90 minutes to have an important discussion or
(12:44):
conversation with someone. This aspect is definitely
favourable for speaking because it makes it fairly easy for you
to get across the things you want to say to other people and
not be misunderstood. So the Sun in Sagittarius with
its theme of yielding, which is growth through timing, it's
bending to the timing of things.A Mercury in Libra with its
(13:09):
theme of cleansing, literal cleansing, and with the Sun and
Mercury, and with the Sun and Mercury cooperating here, the
patience of the Sun and the clarity of Mercury creates an
opportunity with this third sextile of the weekend as a
window for measured decisions. So on Sunday there might be a
(13:34):
few more kind of chore based things to do.
It would be the day to write outyour To Do List and it turns out
to be the most amazingly perfectly laid out To Do List
you've ever created. Definitely review and check your
(13:55):
bills and payments coming up theweek ahead on Sunday because
next week's forecast does look like there might be a bill due
on Tuesday or a payment that youcan make on Tuesday.
Even if the payment's early or something financial coming up on
Tuesday, that is worth getting ahead of on Sunday.
(14:15):
But the whole weekend isn't justdomestic matters.
There is a spark where if you front load the weekend kind of
Friday, Saturday and early Sunday by tending to these
domestic life things, then the Sundays moon Mercury offers
social energy. A phone call with a friend might
be about something exciting, maybe even travel arrangements,
(14:39):
Maybe you go out for brunch, maybe you are a football lover.
And obviously Sundays are now consumed with the NFL and I know
I'm going to be watching a few of the games.
I've been using astrology to enjoy a few little sports bets
flutters and it's turned out to be really interesting.
A very fun rabbit hole to go down and not to mention quite
(15:01):
profitable too. So enjoy Sunday and by around
midday, get yourself into some kind of day off vacation mode,
even if it's a staycation and even knowing that Monday is
right around the corner. A few mocktails, your favorite
sports game, a good chat with a friend, or bottomless mimosas at
brunch. I'm going to be back on Sunday
(15:23):
and Monday with the weekly forecast for each sign, and I'll
be releasing next week's predictions on Sunday.
