Speaker 1 (00:00):
Welcome everyone.
Welcome back to another episodeof the Pagan Preacher.
I am Richard Ravenbrook.
Today, what we want to talkabout is deconstructing
Deconstructing from mainstreamreligions.
Most of the people that arelistening to my podcast are
spiritual people.
They're spiritual people thathave been traumatized.
(00:23):
They're people that have beenmisled, lied to, deceived, have
been tricked or have even beenled down paths that were walked
with good intention but led tothe wrong places.
(00:45):
Led to places that justshouldn't have been.
And I know this subject istouching and finding the right
words, the proper words, toexplain things sometimes can be
difficult.
To explain things sometimes canbe difficult Because when
you're trying to explain tosomebody what you are doing in
(01:10):
deconstructing for mainstreamreligion, many people will say
that and phrases, and you knowthat it creates even a higher
(01:32):
amount of religious trauma whenall you're trying to do is look
within yourself to find thattruth and to seek spirit for
yourself.
But where do we start withdeconstructing?
Number one when we begindeconstruction, we have already
came to the conclusion that weneed change, that what we have
(01:53):
had or what we think we havelearned is flawed, that we need
something else.
And in order to gain somethingelse, to learn something else.
We need to empty the vessel ofwhat we now currently believe or
have believed, and that's notalways easy.
Indoctrination can be one ofthe hardest things in this
(02:17):
lifetime to conquer, because weare led to believe certain
things by our parents, ourgrandparents, our teachers, the
preachers, pastors, people wetrusted, and we have to somehow
get past the idea that thesethings that we were taught were
(02:38):
wrong, that though they weretaught in good intention,
because they themselves believedthese things to be true, in
fact they were not true.
And when someone truly beginsto seek truth, it is most
definitely a difficultexperience.
(02:59):
One of the first things I did, even at a very young age, was I
asked Spirit.
I said, above all things, Ijust want truth, and you feel
within yourself that are yousure that's what you want?
Truth, because truth will driveyou away from everything that
(03:21):
you know.
It'll separate you fromfamilies.
It'll separate you fromfamilies, it'll separate you
from friends, because truth willfind you on a very narrow
pathway, a very narrow and rockyroad, but it definitely leads
(03:42):
to a place of wisdom, higherknowledge, enlightenment, and
where you yourself have theanswers that you need.
But when you startdeconstructing, understand.
This journey is not easy.
It's not only hard withinyourself, but it's hard
(04:04):
physically in this world becauseof the ramifications of what
you're doing.
Because you dare to bedifferent, you dare to question
the mainstream, the normal, youdare to question those within
supposed authority positionswhen actually what you do is
(04:28):
only seek truth.
Truth begins within you Because, even as a Christian
deconstructing, we understandthat the Bible says that the
kingdom of God is within us,that God is spirit.
(04:51):
And when else would a kingreside then?
Within the kingdom.
Within us is the kingdom ofspirit.
Therein lies the answers thatyou and I seek.
In order to find those answersand be able to hear those
(05:13):
answers, we have to empty thevessel of all the things that
we've been programmed to believe.
Some people will tell you thatall there is is the bible.
People will tell you that allthere is is the Bible, that
there is no other writteninstruction.
I'm here to tell you there is.
(05:36):
But they'll also tell you thatthe only voice of God you will
ever hear is within those 66books.
And I'm here to tell you thatis not true.
The voice of God is within youand you can hear on a daily
basis, on an hourly basis, on aminutely basis, the instruction
and the guidance of spirit ineverything that you do within
(06:00):
you.
So many churches, so manyreligions want to focus on what
is outside.
They want you to worshipsomething that is outwardly,
when even Jesus himself said tolook within you, when he was
talking to the Pharisees and hesaid the kingdom of God is
(06:22):
within you.
Why are you talking about allthese other places and telling
people to search other?
He also said doesn't your ownscripture say know ye not that
ye are gods, that you claim tobe the children of God but yet
you don't consider yourself ofGod?
(06:43):
Contemplate those things, because when you begin to reach
and when you begin to trulydeconstruct from this mainstream
religion, you will awaken to awhole new self.
You will find that you nolonger fit into the normal
(07:07):
around you.
You will find that certainsenses begin to rise up, become
more empowered, more enlightened.
Everything from the noises andthe sounds within the woods, the
forest, to even a normal housecat walking through the house,
(07:35):
these little bitty things thatsome people would just laugh at.
But you will notice differences, you will notice connections
between you and all life, because in God, in Spirit, all
things have Spirit.
And when you begin to lookwithin yourself and you begin to
(07:58):
be open to yourself andlistening to what is within you,
you begin to see the Spirit inall things, spirit, the life
force that's within all livingthings, the thing that connects
us all together, that, though webe different, though we be
(08:19):
different species and mindsetsand sense of reasoning, we still
are all connected.
When you're deconstructing,everything changes, you're gonna
say well, you've, you're goingagainst the Bible or you're
(08:39):
going against what God says.
And, like the first thing I dolike to point out to people that
are deconstructing, number one,you believe Jesus was the
Christ and, as a Christian, youare supposed to be followers of
(09:00):
said Christ.
But a majority of people withinthe Christian religion follow
after disciples rather thanJesus or what the true name is,
yeshua.
They follow after disciples andthe first thing you do when you
(09:21):
begin to deconstruct is you.
You don't ignore the words ofdisciples, because they are good
for teaching, good forinstruction, but we follow not
disciples, but you follow thewords of Yeshua that you set
(09:43):
aside, those words that Paulsaid, and Peter, though you take
these things with a grain ofsalt and you apply them in a way
that is, with measure, but nothow do you want to say this?
(10:04):
That you don't weigh your wholelife upon the words of
disciples but of Yeshua?
And then, in order to do so,you have to truly know the life
of Yeshua Jesus when you beginto deconstruct.
And people won't, because eventhe Pharisees came against Jesus
(10:25):
.
Remember, even the Phariseessays that he was a child of the
devil, that he was a heretic, because he was going against the
things that were againstJudaism, against the Jews, but
yet he was a Jew.
They didn't quite understandthe things that he was teaching,
(10:47):
because he was trying to teachthe reasoning behind laws rather
than just teach the law, tryingto teach people why those laws
were put there in the firstplace and to understand the
depth and reasoning behind them.
And they couldn't quite graspit, the depth and reasoning
behind them.
(11:08):
And they couldn't quite graspit because so many of us, when
they're running after disciplesand running after laws and rules
and all these things that aresupposed to be the foundation of
religion, it took away entirespirituality from everything and
everybody.
Jesus taught many differentthings.
(11:29):
He learned many differentthings.
Unfortunately, the 66 bookswithin the Bible only talk about
three years of the mostimportant man in Christianity.
But there is far more out thereto learn.
You know the people thatactually understand know that.
(11:51):
You know Jesus.
When he was 12, he left andwent to Egypt.
He went to various differentplaces that I'm not going to go
into and, yes, there is evidenceof these things.
It's not within the 66 books ofthe Bible because they didn't
want to put the things in there, just like they removed certain
(12:12):
things like the book of Enoch.
The 66 books of the Bible wereput together can to control a
people, to give somewhat someknowledge, but not all knowledge
, to keep people in line andunder authority.
(12:34):
But when you begin to learn truespirituality, when you begin to
truly deconstruct from thatmainstream religion, you begin
to look at the true person.
You can say, well, how can yoube a Christian and not go to
church?
How can you be a Christian andnot believe in all these other
things within the Bible?
Because, as a true Christian, you truly are beginning to
(13:00):
understand that you want tofollow after Yeshua, not
disciples, not a four-wallbuilding, that you understand
that true spirituality, true God, is far more.
When you begin to look intoother religions and other
traditions, as I have had thepleasure and the honor to walk
(13:23):
down when I have walked with mypagan friends and I have walked
with people within the magicalarts and practices and I've sat
with them and discussedspiritual matters with them and
I have witnessed things withthem and you begin to see the
(13:45):
true God, the true God, thepower, the energy behind all
things, the elements of thisworld, of this earth and of us,
and how things are intertwined, interconnected and woven
(14:11):
together.
The church would tell you someof these things are evil and you
stay away from them.
And they tell you those thingsso you don't learn.
I'm not saying some thingscan't be dangerous, because they
can be.
And this is why it's vitallyimportant that you always look
and listen to within you, understanding, listening I guess
(14:46):
that's the the still see ifyou're using more than just your
eyes, your senses, listen tothe things around you.
What is the voice within yousaying?
Is it saying to wait?
Is it saying to move forward?
(15:07):
Is it telling you to listenmore?
Is it telling you to back up?
You listen and you learn.
You will make mistakes, butyou'll get back up and you'll
keep going.
Just like with any journey, youwill learn these things and you
(15:27):
will begin to see that magic andmiracles are all the same thing
.
They all come from the sameplace within us.
Even in the magical arts, welearn that tools and items used
within magical practices don'thold the power, but the power is
(15:52):
held within us, just like evil.
Evil is what is manifestedthrough our own hearts.
If everyone in this worlddecided one day that they would
no longer do evil, evil wouldnot exist.
In order for evil to exist, wehave to manifest it, we have to
(16:20):
choose to commit such evil, whether it be condemnation,
judgment, harm, whatever it maybe.
We initiate it, we manifest itand we can stop it.
But vice versa, we can also dopositive things.
We can increase the beautifulthings in our life.
(16:48):
We can empower ourselves andour families.
We can offer true wisdom andtrue education, true
enlightenment, not justindoctrination.
When people start telling youthat you have left God, tell
(17:09):
them no, I have found God.
When they tell you that youwalked away from the church,
tell them no, you merely walkedaway from a social organization
that knew nothing of God.
They thought they did, but theytruly didn't, and that you
(17:32):
would educate them.
But honestly, unless spiritwere to open their heart, they
won't hear you, they won't eventake the time to listen to you
because Spirit hasn't openedtheir heart enough, like Spirit
has you.
You are here now and you listen.
(17:54):
Some of you have evensubscribed to the YouTube
channel.
They've subscribed to differentpodcasts on Spotify things of
that nature.
They've subscribed to differentpodcasts on Spotify things of
that nature.
Some of you are even begin todonate small amounts that help
pay for at least the podcast, and those things are a blessing.
(18:20):
But when you begin to do thethings on your own, and you
begin to able the things on yourown, and you begin to be able
to teach on your own, whenspirit begins to move so much
within you that you begin toteach things that aren't taught
(18:48):
in church, things like how do Ihear God?
How do I know that this is God?
How do I find God?
What happens when I die?
How can I make my life better?
(19:11):
So many things you can askwithin religious institutions
and the only thing they can dois try to point you to a name,
but they can't give you preciseinstructions of how to do it.
But you will be able to.
You will find that way when youbegin to look within yourself
(19:32):
in this deconstructed, and Ihope I'm trying to make sense
with this, because sometimesspirit gets overwhelming when
there's so much, there's so muchto say and there's so much you
know, you get excited Becausethere is something to be excited
(19:55):
about.
And even when these negativethings come at you and they will
, because when you begin totruly find God, you will find
yourself losing certain friendsand even certain family, because
they will consider you you knowsomebody that's just walked
(20:17):
away and abandoned their faith, abandoned what they were taught.
And you have to be determined, you have to be brave, you have
to be determined, you have to bebrave, you have to walk with
courage and understand that whatyou're doing is good and it is
(20:38):
right.
You try to teach when you can,but more than anything, you just
simply love people untilthey're ready.
Deconst, deconstructing formainstream religion is not easy,
because our brains and ourhearts have been indoctrinated
to the point that we have tounlearn.
And sometimes spirit has tobreak us in order for us to
(21:03):
relearn, has to show us thethings that were wrong in our
life, wrong with the religion, and has to do so by allowing
certain things in our life thatbring us suffering and pain.
We see the flaws within achurch.
We see the flaws within apreacher, our life that bring us
suffering and pain.
We see the flaws within achurch.
We see the flaws within apreacher.
(21:23):
We see whatever it may be.
And we're shown these thingsfor four specific reasons Not to
judge or criticize or condemn, but to point out within us what
is right and what is wrong.
That way we can judge from thatand go the proper direction.
(21:47):
Note that during all of thistime that we're learning, we
don't condemn anybody, we don'tjudge anybody, because all of us
, as I've said before, on thispath.
We're all on a different partof this path, but we're all on
the same journey.
Some of us will excel higher, some of us will excel faster.
I believe all of us, in time, will excel to where we're
(22:12):
supposed to be.
Sadly, there's many peoplewithin the church just don't
want to excel and what we needto do is try to manifest that
want, to manifest that interestin that courage to to want more.
(22:37):
Does that make any sense?
We've got so many people thathave gone to church their whole
life and sat in a pew thinkingthat they were doing what was
right, what was good and theylearned absolutely nothing of
God at all.
(22:58):
What they learned was religion.
What they learned was religion.
What they learned was religiousdogma doctrine, but they never
had a true spiritual encounteror spiritual connection in their
life.
They've never seen with morethan their eyes.
They've never seen with morethan their eyes.
(23:22):
They've never seen spirit in ananimal, spirit in a plant life.
You can't see these things, youcan't acknowledge these things,
unless you have connected tospirit.
What you see in this world willbe nothing more than what your
(23:43):
eyes can see, and that's theproblem with most people in the
world right now.
That's how they have theability to destroy everything
around them without evenacknowledging what they're doing
, because they have noconnection.
They don't even understand whatthey do.
They don't understand whatthey're doing and why it's wrong
that they're doing it.
When you begin to deconstruct, your whole life will change.
(24:14):
When I say God, I take that fromScripture.
It says God is spirit.
We all know that the spiritualrealm is around us.
It's around us all the time.
There are spirits everywhere, this energy force that creates
the life within all of us thatwhen spirit leaves this body, it
(24:39):
is nothing but dead flesh, butspirit is real, alive alive in a
different manner, yes, butalive regardless and is around
you, helps you, guides you whenyou need it, but but you have to
(24:59):
be able and willing to listen.
God is spirit.
God is within you, because thekingdom of God is within you.
When you begin to pray, understand that, no, you're not
(25:27):
praying to yourself, you arepraying to spirit, the spiritual
realm around you.
You are manifesting, you arecreating, you are empowering,
you are divinity within yourself.
You will understand what I'msaying, given time.
(25:50):
Thank you everybody.
I hope this short lesson, thisshort inspiration of spirit, I
hope, has touched somebody outthere.
You know, most of these podcastsare designed for deconstructing
(26:10):
and helping people that aredeconstructing and helping them
empower themselves with trueknowledge, true esoteric
enlightenment, true on a truepath.
(26:33):
I urge everyone to share thepodcast.
Share some of the videos thatyou find on the Pagan Preacher
on YouTube.
Subscribe to different podcasts, tell friends and family.
If you feel like all you can dois help with funding the
(26:56):
podcast itself, because thesethings are not free, then please
do so.
That would be a blessing.
But, more than anything, sharethe message.
Share the message of what'sgoing on, that you can wake up
to the real truth.
You can find that truth withinyou, that burning that's within
(27:21):
you, that you know there'ssomething more out there, that
you know that you're notsatisfied in the church, that
you're not content with thespirituality you now have, that
there's just something missing.
Because there is somethingmissing, I'd like to welcome you
to walk with me on this journey.
(27:42):
Walk with me, learn withno-transcript.
