Speaker 1 (00:00):
Welcome, welcome
everybody.
This is Richard Ravenbrook, andthis is the journey of leaving
religion.
What does spirit have for ustoday?
You know, over the last fewweeks a lot of good things have
happened.
You know, a lot of my books areout, a lot of those books are
(00:24):
turned into audio books andKindle books and I urge people
to go out and look for those, because the message is useless
unless the message is heard orread or received in some way
somehow.
(00:45):
But over the last couple weeks,I think we all know what is the
head of all peoples, or the topof what we're thinking about and
what we're feeling and whatwe're kind of going through, and
it's a touchy subject and it'sa subject that is even has me
(01:10):
pulled in multiple directions.
The Spirit offers warnings ofthe future, warnings of things
that may seem too good to betrue are, and that the road that
(01:33):
people believe will be the bestroad for us will be the very
road that takes us to the end ofour existence as we know it now
us to the end of our existenceas we know it now.
The election is over and allkinds of things are happening I
(01:57):
don't want to get into deeppolitics and who's doing this
and who's doing that, because weall know what's going on.
But division is what I seegoing on right now, division
among all of us.
It's not just among Christiansand pagans and people of other
religions, but Christians arerising up in a higher level of
(02:22):
arrogance and boldness, assumingtheir place in this country as
a.
You know, and I have to watchwhat I say but yet at the same
time, I want to say what spiritwants me to say.
You know, and in public schools, religion does not belong.
(02:47):
Religion is something that istaught at home.
It's taught by the child'selders and by family members and
those around them that lovethem, those around them that
love them.
It is of no legality ormorality for a public school
(03:12):
system to indoctrinate anyone'schild.
You know so many said.
You know they're out there justpraising their God for well,
we're going to get prayer backin school, which was never
removed in the first place.
We want to get where Christiancourses are taught and Bible
(03:38):
courses, and we're going tostart teaching this.
But what about the people thatsend their kids to school that
aren't christian?
Is the indoctrination of theirchildren acceptable in a land
that says that there must beseparation between church and
state.
Do we not know that even thechristian god, even the
(04:01):
Christian God biblically, wouldnot agree with such
indoctrination Because itinterferes with free will and
free choice?
When you bombard people, especially children, you know
and I'm going to use, you know,we, just absolutely not we, but
(04:23):
the people.
There's people out there thatjust honestly, just absolutely
could not stand the idea of adrag queen reading a book to the
children, even though theyweren't saying anything about
being drag queens or anythingsexual of the sort, they were
just reading a book.
But we didn't want, or theydidn't want, that indoctrination
(04:47):
of the children.
But yet it's okay if Christiansindoctrinate your children.
Now, I know, and I understandthat in the Christian belief
because I come from theChristian belief, that their
belief is that they are the oneand only true religion and that
(05:09):
no other religion is true, sothey don't have to respect or
honor such religions.
And some religions they believecompletely contradict their
religion and offend theirreligion and their way of life.
And right now, what we have isan emotional roller coaster of
(05:37):
feelings and emotions, becauseit seems like we're going
backwards, doesn't it?
It seems like we are degressing, not progressing.
Women's rights are threatened, where women no longer have a
choice of their own body or whatthey do in this world.
(05:58):
I saw where even interracialmarriages were threatened.
You know where have we gone as acountry when we think these
things are acceptable?
The other day I saw where Somegroup in the KKK was handing out
(06:19):
flyers warning people about themass deportation and this and
that what's coming is not a goodthing.
You know we blame so manypoliticians and we blame our
government on all the situationsthat we have today, but do you
(06:42):
honestly know whose fault it is?
It's ours.
We allowed it.
We allowed the problems tocontinue for 20 and 30 years and
now we have a problem thatisn't easily fixed.
Because if you're telling methat it's acceptable to deport a
(07:04):
child that has known nothingbut this country, that has been
born here, has been raised hereand knows nothing but this
country, that it's acceptable todeport them with their
grandparents or whatever elsebecause we failed to uphold the
law all those years ago, no,it's not acceptable.
(07:26):
It's not that child's faultthat it is here, it's ours and
it's our responsibility to dowhat is right.
It's our responsibility as awhole, for all people in general
, because when you start talkingabout politics, there truly is
(07:50):
no left nor right.
But you're either an Americanor you're not, and an American
believes in freedom for allpeople.
They believe in inalienablerights that was given to them by
their creator, that all men arecreated equal, that we have a
(08:15):
place in this world and that itshould not be detoured or
hindered by race, color, creedor sexual orientation.
A lot of people right now justwant to.
You know where they'reattacking all these different
(08:35):
things.
Well, we can't accept this.
We can't accept this.
We can't accept that, you know, because, for some reason, they
have to play God, they have tobe God.
They preach constantly that Godis in control, but they prove
(08:57):
daily that they don't believethat themselves.
Well, god won't accept this, but they prove daily that they
don't believe that themselves.
Well, god won't accept this.
Okay, well then, let God handlethat.
Let them live their life andlet God handle that.
If God is in control, it's notfor you.
(09:26):
Even your own scripture says tolook in the stick that's in your
own eye.
When you start looking forsomething to judge, judge the
person in the mirror, not yourneighbor, because the only thing
that's truly said about yourneighbor is to love your
neighbor as you would have themLove you and treat you.
You know they and I know I'mhesitating and there's pauses,
(09:52):
as I feel and I hear spiritSaying so many different things.
That's going on right now andit's difficult sometimes To put
these things into Words, becauseI understand that people are
doing what they feel is rightand that's the problem, because
there's so much spiritualignorance in this country and in
(10:14):
this world.
That's why we have all thesewars, that we allow our children
to go to war so they can fightover oil and property, resources
and money.
It's not over defending ourcountry, our land.
It's not about defending ourfreedom.
It's about making bankersricher and corporations
(10:41):
wealthier.
Where have we gone?
There is no honor anymore.
Where have we gone, even as acountry that said that all men
are created equal?
Yet daily we find reasonscreated equal.
But yet daily we find reasons.
(11:01):
We find reasons to say thatsomeone is not our equal, that
they are unacceptable, thattheir lifestyle is unacceptable.
And I said once you know, if, ifyour God, if God himself, will
(11:22):
not intervene and stop someonefrom living the life that they
choose, who do you think you are?
Who do you think that you areto believe that you are of
higher authority than your Godhimself.
You are of higher authoritythan your God himself, that if
(11:47):
God himself says that, so be it.
That that is their choice.
Let them live by their choice.
You know, I don't believe in afiery eternity.
I understand that, the wordshell, hades and all of these
different interpretations, butthe eternal torment was added to
(12:16):
add fear.
It's not real, you know, andit's, and I know there's a whole
lot of controversy on that.
But I'm going to tell you juststraight out hell is not real.
It is not a real place.
No matter how you've lived, youare not going to go and burn
(12:37):
for eternity.
That, our creator, no matterhow you believe or how you
interpret it, what you name it,what God or goddess's name you
name it, that is not.
It's not what's going to happen, but it's for you and your
(13:01):
spiritual journey to know whereyou're going.
We all come from differentplaces.
We all come from differentsources.
We all come from differentunderstandings of God and
goddess, depending on where ourroots are.
Most of us have accepted areligion of those who enslaved
(13:27):
us.
We have accepted a religionthat destroyed or murdered our
ancestors, and it's time that weget back to our roots and stop
following a religion that wasnever yours.
They're going to say that, well, this is the one and only
(13:51):
religion.
Well, the very evidence of somany different religions in so
many different countries andcontinents shows that's
absolutely untrue.
If God is in control, even inour own country, christianity is
(14:12):
divided into hundreds ofdenominations, where the leaders
of the church and theauthoritarians within the
religion of Christianity can'tdecide for themselves what that
one truth is.
So they split up in all kindsof different denominations, all
(14:34):
trying to label themselves asthe same but teaching something
slightly different.
And spirit doesn't teachdifferent doctrines and
different teachings to the samepeople, different spirits.
Do we got to understand thatthis spiritual walk, this
(14:58):
journey, if you're not lookinginward, if you're not listening
to spirit, if you haven't beentaught to truly listen, and
christianity is one that tellsyou not to look within, to look
outwardly, do, do they not?
When your Jesus even said thatthe kingdom of God is within you
(15:23):
?
When he was talking to thePharisees, you know he was
trying to tell them when theywere talking about all these
laws and these rules and all thethings that they were trying to
say and he was trying to saybut doesn't your own scripture
say that the kingdom of heavenis within you?
Do you not understand that?
(15:43):
Why are you looking to the sky?
Why are you looking all overthe place, when the power of the
spirit is within you?
Everything you need Kind of likethe scarecrow in the Wizard of
Oz Everything you need youalready had.
(16:08):
It was already within you theTin man, everything was already
within you.
You didn't need to be given it.
All you had to do was knowwhere to find it, and then you
had to be able to trust what youfound.
You had to be taught how tolisten and how to discern and
(16:32):
how to absorb the teachings ofspirit and how spirit teaches,
Because your own scripture saysthat you need no man to teach
you, for spirit will teach youall things.
For those that want to tell youthat, well, you have to go to
church if you're going to be aChristian no, and I know that I
(17:03):
speak a lot of scripture and Ispeak a lot, and again and again
I remind people.
I do this because I'm speakingto the christians that are
trying to deconstruct, trying toleave mainstream religion, and
they have a hard time.
So I'm teaching them, educatingthem on how to apply the things
that are within the book thatthey believe in and to
(17:24):
understand why it's acceptableto leave mainstream religion and
to find their roots once again,to truly find out who this
Jesus that you say truly is,because the church doesn't teach
it.
Church doesn't teach that hewent to egypt and to various
(17:50):
different places to learnvarious different spiritual
paths, various differentspiritual paths.
I'm not going to teach thatbecause it gets out of their
realm of control.
But the true man, yeshua, was aman of magic and power.
(18:10):
You know your people, theChristians.
They argued for weeks, months, months, some of them even years
on the divinity of the man theycall Jesus.
He was a powerful man.
He was a man that studied andlearned many different practices
(18:31):
.
A lot of these practices I haveput in the Ravenbrook tradition
, you know, in the book theSorcerer's Path.
That book's about my life.
I went by the name Elijah at onetime and the book is about
(18:53):
Elijah's walk from minister tomage, going from a Christian
minister to mage, going from aChristian minister to a man of
magic, and understanding thatwhat they were doing was the
right thing.
It's spiritually truth thing,because sometimes, when you've
(19:19):
been so brainwashed in religionthat they try to guilt, trip you
and they try to do all thesedifferent things to convince you
that what you're doing is wrongand what you're doing is not
right, but you keep movingforward, you keep pushing
forward, you keep knowing thatyour roots, your roots, your
(19:46):
name, where you come from, thegods that your ancestors knew as
gods.
It's time to go back to ourroots and we can't do that in a
country that's going todetermine that we're all going
to learn Christianity in schoolsand everywhere else, that we're
(20:10):
going to put up 10 commandmentsall over the place and we're
gonna we're gonna start pushingone religion.
That cannot be accepted, norwill it be accepted.
I don't condone violence unlessit's in a manner of protection,
(20:33):
but we cannot allow such thingsto happen.
We cannot allow theindoctrination of our children.
We cannot allow this country togo backwards.
We cannot allow our women, ourwives and the ladies of this
country to be treated lesserthan what any man is.
(20:58):
May the women in this countryhave choice.
May they have the authorityover their own bodies and their
own minds, just like any mandoes.
Let people be who they are.
Let people be who they are, letthem walk whatever religion
(21:20):
they choose, or no religion atall.
Let them marry who they love, whoever, whoever and whatever
they are.
You know when I say that andit's like because it doesn't
matter to us, it shouldn't.
It doesn't matter if it's aninterracial couple or if it's a
(21:40):
same-sex couple.
You know why it doesn't matter?
Because Because it doesn'taffect your life.
It doesn't affect your choices, and if you're afraid that it
might affect your children'schoices, then you doubt your own
child's ability to choose.
(22:01):
We have to trust our childrenwith enough knowledge and wisdom
to judge for themselves what itis that they want.
We guide them, we protect them,we keep them from doing stupid
things.
Sometimes that's what parentsdo, but we also have to be
willing to give some grace intothe choices that they have.
(22:24):
We have to be able to trust, wehave to be able to listen to
them and hear what it is thatthey want.
You know, as parents, a lot oftimes we want our children to be
just like us or we want acertain path for them, but they
may not want that path.
They may even want a path thatoffends us or goes against what
(22:48):
we believe, but they have thatright to make that choice.
But right now this country istrying to take away all of our
choices, trying to dictate whatwe're going to believe and what
we're going to do and how we'regoing to live and the laws that
(23:08):
are laid.
It's unacceptable.
No government should ever havethe right to tell man, woman or
child what they can or cannot doFor each man and each woman and
each child.
Their life is their life, theirlife To choose for themselves
(23:34):
where they go, what they do,what they believe.
This country was based uponfreedom, people Liberty, free
expression, free speech, liberty, free expression, free speech.
When we begin to starteliminating those things because
(23:57):
we think that it's the rightthing, understand that your own
scripture says that, that wehave to be careful because what
seems right to us is definitelynot right to God it means that
we don't understand theramifications if I can spit that
(24:21):
word out of what we do.
We don't understand the dominoeffect of what we do sometimes.
We don't understand that justbecause we knock that one domino
effect of what we do sometimes,we don't understand that just
because we knock that one dominoover, we don't understand that
it's going to knock down another6,000 dominoes or whatever how
many is out there and hurtpeople that we can't even see or
people we don't even know.
But what we do is we just?
(24:45):
We focus on us.
We focus on our families.
Is we just focus on us?
We focus on our families.
If somebody's doing somethingthat we don't believe in, then
have enough spiritual maturityto let it not offend you.
You know, it's different whenpeople begin to take their
(25:05):
belief and use it to hurt people.
But isn't that what the churchis doing right now?
Because if they interfere withyour religion, with your free
will, are they not hurting you?
If they begin to do things thatBring your religion down In
(25:29):
character, are they not hurtingyou, hurting your religion,
hurting your family, hurting, putting you in a dark light
where it has taken hundreds ofyears To rise, where we are now?
Because right now is the timeof enlightenment.
(25:53):
And that's why they're afraid, because people are beginning to
wake up and understand thatmainstream religion is flawed,
it's corrupt and it leads tonowhere but slavery and
ignorance.
But they're afraid of awakeningpeople.
(26:13):
They want to call them woke.
Maybe woke's not such a badword anymore.
Maybe that's a word that we canbe proud of, because I'd rather
be woke than dead asleep, ignorant in this world, ignor,
ignorant of what is truly goingon in this world, when a man
(26:35):
would choose to laugh.
When they talk about deportingchildren along with their older
family members, as I heard whenthey were talking about it on
the news, they were saying well, what do we do about the
children that have been here alltheir life?
(26:56):
Well, we can deport them withthe rest of them.
And people laughed.
How heartless, how you know, and it just grips spirit and
just that you can treat anotherhuman being, especially a child,
in that manner.
(27:17):
Protect these people, protectthe children, save the children.
If you take anything from thispodcast today, it's remember
unity.
Remember that we can't do thiswithout unity.
(27:38):
We can't grow in enlightenment,we can't grow in knowledge and
wisdom without unity.
You'll even notice that two orthree of my books speak about
unity and how Spirit urged me tohow to do these things and how
to progress with these things.
(27:58):
Spirit's been doing a lot ofwork the last six months to a
year, not just in these podcasts, but in books and in writings
and articles.
I urge you to look at thesethings and help me with this
movement of unity, where it'snot just for pagans, but it's
(28:21):
for all people.
Yes, it is for pagan protection,it is so we don't go backwards
in time, but it's also for theHindu, the Buddhist, even the
Muslim, all religions that liveand breathe in this country,
(28:47):
that their lives and theirreligions are threatened at this
very time.
We can't go down this road, guys.
We have to come together andsay no, we will not support one
religion over another.
You will either teach allreligions or you will teach no
(29:10):
religion, and the mostintelligent choice would be to
leave religion to the parentsand leave the public school
system to basic education.
Maybe we ought to get back toreally educating our kids with
(29:31):
real things instead of theignorance that we've done the
last 10 years or so.
Maybe we can get back intoteaching people how to work with
their hands, how to grow food, how to feed themselves, how to
hunt fish, whatever else, teaching people how to live off
the land rather than just beconsumers.
(29:53):
Be blessed everybody.
Blessed be.
This is Richard Ravenbrook,everyone.
Have a blessed evening, me.
