Speaker 1 (00:02):
Welcome everyone.
Welcome back to another episode.
I am Richard Ravenbrook andwhat Spirit wants to talk about
today is the similarities inreligions.
You know, we have manyreligions out there but we
(00:24):
really only have one mainreligion that, it seems, always
wants to belittle the others, always wants to diminish other
religions and the light thatthey shine, the teachings that
(00:48):
they teach and the blessingsthat they give us.
Religion in itself is full oflimits, it's inside the box and
(01:09):
it limits our enlightenment, itlimits our ability to grow in
spirit.
But today spirit wants to talkabout the similarities within
religions Because you know I'vesaid before that truth,
spiritual truth, is like ajigsaw puzzle with the pieces
(01:34):
scattered all over the world.
And the pieces are found in allof the philosophies and
religions, all the traditionsaround the world.
And when we can take all thosepieces and we can look at them
with an open mind and an openheart, we begin to see the truth
(01:58):
for what it is, the whole truth, not just a version of the
truth like religion gives us,but it gives us spiritual truth
that spirit gives us.
The similarities are mindboggling, to say the least.
(02:22):
When you begin to deconstructfrom mainstream religion, you
start to see these similaritiesand some of these similarities
have to be taught by spirit, because we've been so Bowel,
beaten and brainwashed To beatenand brainwashed to refuse to
(02:47):
believe anything else but whatwe read and what we've been told
how to interpret that as thatwe don't understand or believe
or trust the fact that we caninterpret things in a different
way.
And the written word can bedangerous, because the written
(03:10):
word, if not written correctly, can mean something entirely
different than what the originalauthor intended.
It can change the entiresetting, change the entire
meaning.
A simple comma, you know, simple punctuation and this, or
(03:34):
even, let's just say, let's justput sarcasm as an example.
You know, if I were to justwrite down something in a
sarcastic attitude or asarcastic manner, could you
recognize that in just readingthe words?
Probably not, unless you couldtake other pieces.
(04:00):
You know, I understand that wetake the paragraphs before and
we take the paragraphs after andvice versa, and we can kind of
see where the author is going, where the speaker is actually
going, what the mindset of thespeaker is.
But when it comes tointerpretation, so many people
(04:21):
take verses, take small bits ofscripture, and want to apply
that to life, want to applydifferent things to life today,
in the year 2024, like it was in20 BC, and it simply cannot be.
You know, when I begin to talkabout the similarities, when I
(04:49):
begin to talk about things likethe Magi that went to see the
baby Jesus and the story of babyJesus and Mary and Joseph, the
(05:09):
Magi.
Do we understand what Magi, what they are?
The Magi are astrologers.
They are men of the wise.
They understood herbal medicine, the wise.
They understood herbal medicine.
They understood the use ofcertain incense and stones and
(05:31):
crystals and they were what wewould interpret today as men of
magic, men of the occult, andwhat we would interpret today as
evil.
But they were the farthestthing from evil, because we know
(05:53):
even the man many call Jesus.
We know that Jesus is not hislegitimate name, but we know
that the Bible only speaks aboutthree years of his life, that
we know that he went todifferent places around the
world to learn these arts, thathe became a master, that he
(06:20):
never intended to gain followershe never intended to gain
followers, that he only he cameto create leaders and he didn't
want to be the Christ, but hewanted to teach all of us that
(06:45):
we were Christ's consciousness, that when we become enlightened
we become like him.
He was saying follow in what Ido, follow in what I did, learn
the things that I learned andwalk the way I'm trying to
instruct you to walk.
But how can you do that if youdon't know?
(07:11):
How do you know when your Bibledoesn't tell you?
But there's information that'sout there.
Don't be afraid to look for it.
Don't be afraid to research itfor it.
Don't be afraid to research it.
Don't be afraid to understandthat what you've been taught is
not correct or that it islimited or it's only a portion
(07:35):
of the truth, that maybe they'renot lying to you, but they sure
aren't telling you the entiretruth.
They're only telling you justenough to keep you happy but to
keep you powerless.
The similarities you're gonnasay.
Well, you know let's just takethe Christian which, for example
(07:57):
, that there's no way that youcan be a Christian and a witch
at the same time.
Not many people will say that, but when you become enlightened
you can understand that and I'mtrying to get this right, trying
(08:18):
to get it to where people canunderstand that, in perception
of how we interpret terms andhow we see things, means all the
difference when we say the wordwitch, religious leaders and
(08:38):
church leaders, and all of thisin the past and even in the
current, we see it just crazily.
You know, the word is tainted somuch that when someone says
just the word, automatically yougo to something that is dark,
something that is evil, something that is wrong Because
(09:00):
the Bible says this and theBible says that.
But what you don't understandis those things have been edited
, they have been altered andthey were speaking of different
things and in differentperceptions of what we have
today, that what we have, whatpeople would classify as a witch
(09:21):
, is simply someone thatunderstands the use of herbs,
understands the purposes and thevibrations and the use of
crystals and stones.
They understand the balance oflife, they honestly understand
(09:43):
things better than the typicalchurch-going Christian.
And the Christian witch ismerely someone that follows
Jesus, or follows the man wecall Jesus, but believes and
understands all of the things ofthe wise the herbs, the stones,
(10:05):
the stars, the astrology, allthe things that the magi work.
We begin to understand that inthat perception, just because we
see it as dark, because we'vebeen told it's dark, doesn't
necessarily mean it's dark.
But people who want to, theyhear the word, they hear the
(10:29):
label and they automatically puta stamp on and say you know,
boom, that's, that's evil.
We can't have that in here, which that is totally
unacceptable, without firstdiving into it and researching
and understanding, trying to getan understanding of just what
People mean by Christian witch.
(10:51):
They want to understand.
And when you begin todeconstruct and this is why you
know, when I first Began reallydeconstructing, I came out with
the With kingdom magic, becauseI knew, when I was ministering
in the church, I knew that therewas something missing, there
(11:12):
was something that you know, when spirit told me that,
however you classify it magic, miracle, just the essence of
power within divinity, it's allthe same.
It's neither good nor evil, itsimply is.
And it's the heart of the manor the woman that makes what
(11:36):
they do evil or good, not in thepower itself.
But Christians, so many timeswithin the church, they're
afraid of the power, they'reafraid to actually get in and
explore these things becausewe've all been blinded and
(11:59):
brainwashed to believe that ifanything's outside the four
walls of the church it's evil, and people it's not the
similarities in all of thesethings.
When we begin to look at theBuddhist and the Hindu and we
begin to look into meditationand how it aligns with basically
(12:24):
somewhat the same thing asprayer, when we see the person
that classifies himself as awitch or Wicca, and we see them
lighting candles and burningincense.
But then we can go into thechurch and we see them lighting
candles and incense.
You know, we can see thesimilarities everywhere, but the
(12:50):
classifications, theperceptions and the
interpretations are what divideeverything, because ignorant
people have spread ignoranceinstead of knowledge and wisdom
and truth.
Now, don't get me wrong.
I know there's bad out thereand there's people that will
(13:13):
classify themselves, as you know, whatever it may be, and they'd
be evil.
But there's even evil withinthe church and within all
religions, because, rememberwhat I said, the power is
neither good nor evil, it simplyis.
(13:34):
It is the truth, it is theessence of life, it is the
essence of all that we are, thatwe all are connected together
Humanity and the animals, andthe trees, and the plants, and
the ground, and the sky,everything.
We are all tied together andthat's why the balance of life
(13:57):
is so important, because when webegin to disregard the natural
balance of things, we begin tohinder ourselves, we begin to
hurt ourselves.
Illnesses pop up and sicknesses.
(14:22):
Where death of this creature, other deaths will occur, and we
don't understand that thisbalance is critical.
That's why we're seeing thisworld right now going, just it's
going crazy tornadoes andhurricanes and floods, and and
you have so many people.
Well, that's just, that's justthe divine it's getting ready to
end.
(14:42):
No, it's because we've gonethrough another cycle and
humanity has not learnedanything.
Once again, that we understandthat the earth, yes, she
regenerates herself, butsometimes, when so much abuse
(15:05):
has been done to her, sometimesthat regeneration Is More Than
what Would have been necessary.
But that we have done so muchdamage and so much destruction
because of ignorance and notunderstanding the similarities
(15:30):
within religion is part of thatproblem.
Not understanding that all thereligions oil, I'm gonna say
most of the religions, all themajor religions All have common
(15:51):
factors, all tie in To what I'mgonna say is the basic,
fundamental truths.
They may label them different, they may title them different,
they may call them by differentnames, but when we get to the
root of the truth, they're thesame.
You're going to say, oh no, inmy church we don't do this and
(16:13):
we follow Jesus and we follow.
Remember what I said you can'tfollow somebody you don't know
and don't tell me that youfollow Paul or you follow Peter
or you follow these others, because they were mere disciples
.
If you're a follower of theChrist, then you follow one, not
(16:40):
the others.
Sure, you can read what they hadto say and you can take that
with a grain of salt, it canhelp as a teacher, but you don't
take it as the one true word, and that's it.
Because they were mere men, menthat make serious mistakes.
(17:00):
But the man that you guys areall talking about, even though
they had to argue the divinity, the fact of the matter is the
man we call Jesus, went todifferent areas and he learned
things like astrology.
He learned things like.
He learned things like the arts, magic and herbs, and deeper
(17:21):
and deeper.
And I'm not going to gocompletely into all of this, but
just know that he became themaster and he did the things
that he did because he learnedwho he was on this earth, and
I'm not talking about as thechild of God, but as a God Like
we all are, when we begin tounderstand who we are.
(17:46):
Even your own scripture andJesus said this even to the
Pharisees remember when he saidknow ye not that ye are gods,
that people don't understand whothey are, what they are, simply
walking empty vessels of fleshwith no power, because all they
(18:10):
want to do is teach you that youneed someone else.
Because all they want to do isteach you that you need someone
else To bow down on your kneesand admit that you can't do
anything in this life, thatyou're a failure.
And that's not the truth.
You know the man that we callJesus.
I know he would say rise up,get off of your knees and be who
(18:34):
it is that you are, believe inthe words that you speak,
because your words are power, just like the person in magic,
just like the person in Wicca.
When you speak, when you pray, you manifest.
These things are all the same.
(18:59):
When someone that's performinga ritual lights the candle and
puts all the effort and theintention into the candle,
places the proper stones andsays the words, they are
manifesting their intention intothe universe.
When you pray, you are doingthe same thing, just with a
(19:20):
different technique and with adifferent.
You're going to say well, no,I'm praying directly to somebody
.
It's all the same when we focusthat intention into making
change, when you pray for change, when you pray for someone else
(19:42):
, that's what's happening.
It's not, it's you that'sperforming the miracle, and you
don't even realize it.
You know, even the man you callJesus said greater things.
Will you do than I if all yougot to do is believe, you're
(20:05):
gonna say well, you're soundingkind of preachy right now.
For because we know that the manthat you call Jesus some say he
was a sorcerer, some say thathe was a man of magic People
even the old paintings of himshow him holding a wand.
(20:29):
Did you know that that?
We know that he studied thesethings.
But we're scared sometimes,aren't we?
Because we talk about thesethings and we know that we'll be
shunned, that we'll be pushedout, that this won't be accepted
.
But we know in our heart it'sthe truth.
(20:51):
We know that it's not evil, because it's only evil if we
make it evil.
It's only dark if we take it toa dark place within our heart.
It's only bad when we do badthings with it that the power is
(21:14):
there.
You know the elements are there.
It used to be the five-pointedstar.
The church used it for the fivewounds of Christ.
Did you know that?
That's why you see a lot ofpentacles of the pentagram on
churches, old churches, becausethey used it as the five wounds
of Christ.
(21:35):
But we also know that it is theelements of earth, or should I
say the elements of all theuniverse.
Rather, you know, earth, fire, water, air, spirit these things
are all that make up what we seeand what we are.
When we begin to understandthese things, and we begin to
(21:59):
understand that we are spiritsin a physical experience, that
we can begin to see things in abrighter light.
We can begin to see things thatwe've never seen before.
We can begin to evencommunicate with the animals and
(22:24):
different species, that you canalmost hear the trees
conversate in the woods and yousay, well, that just sounds
crazy, and it is to someone thathas never experienced it.
When you begin to have thatconnection to everything around
you, when you understand theelements for what they are, have
(22:46):
that connection to everythingaround you, when you understand
the elements for what they are, that they are what makes our
physical bodies and our spirit.
You know, even your Bible saysthat the creator created us from
the dirt, from the ground ofMother Earth.
(23:08):
That's why we call her MotherEarth, because our physical
vessels, our physical bodies, came from her came from Mother
Earth.
You know our spirit comes fromFather Spirit.
You know our spirit comes fromFather Spirit, but what we walk
in, the elements that we are,are the same elements of Mother
(23:30):
Earth, everything that she is,we are, everything that the
animals are we are, and viceversa.
You know, if we could take allof these elements and just
scatter them all over the place,we could probably understand it
in a way, that's.
But when we take these thingsand we put them together in a
natural form, when we begin to Idon't know how to sometimes put
(23:56):
these things into words, but Ithink the people that are
listening understand what I'msaying.
The art of creation is here.
In creation, you can begin tosee and understand the power
(24:17):
that he held and that you canhold, because you see the
similarities, you see the commonfactors of these things, that
you begin to let go of the termsand the definitions and
perceptions and interpretations.
You know, religions havescattered people all over the
(24:38):
place.
Even one religion, christianity, has separated it into hundreds
of denominations.
Because they can't find thetruth, because they deny the
truth, not all of it, but mostof it.
They deny the very essence ofthe man that they say they
(25:02):
follow, they deny what helearned when he said follow
after me.
What did he do?
What did he learn?
Unless you know those things, you can't truly follow.
(25:23):
And the information is there andpeople will tell you oh, you
can't trust that informationbecause the people that any word
that was inspired by spirit isthe inspired word, any podcast
(25:43):
that is inspired by spirit isinspired.
Don, spirit is inspired.
Don't we understand that?
They'll say that this book overhere, this is the only thing
that there is.
This is the only inspired wordof Spirit, and that is a
bold-faced lie.
If you want to say God is alivetoday, but then you say there's
(26:06):
no living spiritual wordanymore, it's just that book,
well, how is God alive?
The kingdom of God is withinyou and if the spirit within you
lives and breathes and you knowit and you acknowledge it and
you recognize it and you beginto recognize your power, you
(26:29):
begin to shine, you begin toknow so much more than any book
can show you.
Spirit will lead you to theinformation, will lead you to
the resources, will lead you tothe resources.
Sometimes it can be a simplewalk in the woods, in an
(26:51):
epiphany, in a revelation andspirit will give this to you and
say do you trust it?
Can you Feel?
Feel, not with your humanfeelings, but discern how you
feel.
You know that it's the truth.
(27:12):
Ignore the debate within yourmind, because your fleshly mind
will argue it.
Feel it.
(27:39):
Thank you everybody.
Feel it and a few otherdifferent places.
It may take a few weeks forthem to reach all the bookstores
, but if you just go to Amazonand type in books by Richard
Ravenbrook, I could definitelyuse your support.
Books don't do any good unlessthey're read.
Most of the books are off ofthe same topics as the podcast.
(28:05):
Be blessed everybody andblessed be.
